( via Review: 'When I Fly Towards You' C-drama (2023))
When I Fly Towards You C-drama is a package of everything. Everything is shown so beautifully from childhood to their marriage that I wish I could rewatch it for the first time.
Talking about Su Zai Zai, she is a girl's girl. She has an inner child in her and the way she is so bubbly all the time makes her character so adorable. But she is so mature and loving which speaks out for her innocence. On the other hand, Zhang Lu Rang is a green flag. It is hard to find a lead who is cold-hearted but at the same time respects the FMC without saying harsh words to her but again he is an exception. He is cool and calm and loves to adore Su Zai Zai.
OMG, their chemistry is amazing. Even after getting into a relationship Su Zai Zai is still the same because Zhang Lu Rang loves her the way she is. There are scenes where he is so grateful to have a partner who understands him without words. Their confession scene is so good like their story is calm and beautiful. And the proposal is endearing that's all I am going to say, it's so heartwarming I still remember screaming because it's hard to find that in real life.

(via We will never be happy...)
Life is unfair, we all know that, and it’s okay to complain about it; however, will it change anything? Yes, we might feel better, and it’s totally fine to pour out our feelings, but until when?
When something happens in my life out of the sudden, I always ask myself after panicking, what’s worse that could happen? And I remember all my old times when I dealt with so many things, and I survived, which is the biggest thing. I have learned that we humans always think first so negatively that it takes all of our energy to think positively. As an adult, I have learned that I have to make my life however I want it to be, tough, but that is what life is all about; life will never be easy until we stop overthinking it.
Life will drag you across the dirty roads, but it is you who will stand up, shrug off that dirt and carry forward. When I realised the facts about me and how much I overthink things, the sudden realisation happened when I got the chance to be happy in my life. We will never be happy if we overlook things that we already have. No human has everything; there are certain aspects that everyone lacks, but what about those things that we have, like the privilege to sleep, just the smallest thing that we take for granted?
Life is not only about achieving things but also appreciating what we already have. We will never be happy if we look at the negative side of life. Life is unfair, but it is you who will make it fair for yourself. If you think that life will automatically become fair, you are in serious denial; you have to work for it. I know it is hard, but you are the strongest soldier out there who knows exactly what they want, so go for it, otherwise, you will never be happy…

(via Pause)
Taking a break is so important that we often think it’s like wasting our time, but no, because just like physical being is important, our mental state also needs a rest. Ironically, we are so busy in life that we have to think about taking a break from our routine. Obviously, it is not easy to just say and the mind will shut down, but think about it in a way by asking yourself questions about how much you need it. Everything needs a reset, the same with your mind and body.
When we continue to do work in auto mode, we become tired and drained, the life starts to become more stressful than it already is. That is why pausing is very important as it helps you enjoy your life, and you can take a deep breath peacefully. What does pause actually mean?
According to me, having a big breakfast without hurrying to get back to work, taking a slow walk to a favorite cafe or bookstore, or maybe just sleeping and watching FRIENDS. Things that bring you happiness from inside that will help you rebuild your vision for life are why taking a pause is important. Remember, in life, we have to look far ahead, so taking a pause in between will help you reach it slowly but happily. Sp of you were thinking of taking a pause but are unable to just do it and you will thank yourself later.

(via Book Review: The Right Move (Windy City Series #2) by Liz Tomforde)
Rating: 3/5
Ryan Shay healed this series for me. I liked him so much because of the way he was. I liked that whatever happened to him, he didn't turn worse, but handled it really well. What happened to him was so out of the box, I was not expecting it, but it shows he was the green flag from the start. He is caring and lovable, a male lead hard to find. He is a standard book boyfriend who knows what his girls want; he is a perfect act of service to exist.
Indy Ivers' character was amazing. I found her amusing, and her thoughts always made me laugh. I liked that she was so understanding about living with Ryan rather than being arrogant about it. I liked that I did not see any arrogance in this book. She is beautiful inside and outside, I liked how confident she is in herself.
The chemistry is really great too. The bickering and the tension, and I liked that there was nothing forced between them, but it came naturally. His care for her was enduring, and her understanding of him is what we call an understanding couple.
Just like the first book, there is nothing about basketball in the book, which was disappointing. The last part was okay, so basically, both talked about each other's flaws, and still, they had a misunderstanding about the same. I hated it to the core. The ending, to be honest, I had enough with this book. At the 75% mark, I had enough because that would be the perfect ending, but no, the remaining 25% was just a misunderstanding of things that they had already talked about. I think the biggest complaint of mine from this series is that it is too long, and I get bored.
In the end, I found the book all over the place, and my interest went below zero. The plot was nice and definitely out of the box. But I don't know why stars need to take instructions about how to live their personal life from the team that didn't sit right with me. According to me, it was really good in the beginning, but again, in the end, I wanted to get over it equally. Because I got bored, there is nothing that I remember and would highly recommend. My biggest pet peeve is long chapters and long books, especially in romance. Maybe that is the reason I liked it, but just not much.
Give it a try if you want. Will say Ryan Shay is the ultimate book boyfriend.

(via Review: 'Vincenzo' K-drama (2021))
Vincenzo is one of my favourite fictional characters, he is handsome duh, but honestly, he has control over how to deal with people and circumstances. He knows some problems are inevitable and he will face them and how he smartly has many plans to deal with so I think that really made him stand out.
The main heroes of the drama, the Geumga Plaza family or the Cassano family and how each of them helped and stood with Vincenzo till the end. The bond they created with Vincenzo and Hong Cha-young was so beautiful and the main star of the show. Then comes Jan Han-seo, he and Vincenzo created a brotherhood that he could not find in his own brother. Ahn Gi-seok, we need to be forever grateful for him and the way he helped Vincenzo. The whole family stood as a shield for Vincenzo, their cornsalad and protected him with their life and it was so heartwarming to watch. Special shout out to Inzagi if you know you know.

(via Book Review: Grave Matter by Karina Halle)
My Rating: 4/5 (Please check trigger warnings.)
Seriously, it is one of the most underrated books I have read. The book Grave Matter by Karina Halle is a gothic fiction, psychological thriller, and science fiction and OMG, what a book it was.
Let’s start with the character of Sydney Denik. Just like every horror book, she is very dumb. Seriously, there is no single cell left in her brain. I thought she would be smart at first, but boy, I was so wrong. The entire book is in her POV, and I felt that I was in her brain. I wouldn’t say she was a complex character, but what was happening to her was definitely creepy. The book is more focused on the plot rather than the character, so there is nothing more to say about Sydney.
Then we have Wes, the MMC, and as I said, the book is in Sydney’s POV there was nothing much about his character. However, through her POV, we get to know how obsessive he was. Through him, we only get to see the love he had for Sydney; the boy did everything for Sydney. They have great chemistry, and the instant connection they felt was definitely a spoiler.
Now, the main thing that kept me hooked to the book was the PLOT. There was not a single moment in the book where I was bored because Karina Halle’s writing was so intriguing and fast-paced. The plot was outstanding, and even though there were technical terms as it is science fiction however everything was written so easily that I understood it so well. I understood what was happening pretty much early in the book but still, the end plot twist I didn’t see it coming at all.
I truly enjoyed the vibe of the book and the ending as well. The plot is complex, but the writing isn’t, so I think that was the reason I vibed with the book. There was so much creepiness, and at one point, I was truly confused if Sydney would ever make it alive or not. The book was perfectly balanced with mystery, romance, sci-fi, and horror, which made the storyline interesting.
If you would like to read a mixture of horror romance and science fiction, I highly recommend this book.

(via Feeling more grateful.)
For a long time, my acceptance level in life has increased a lot I have become more calm about the chaos that keeps popping up from nowhere in my life and I wonder what? Whenever life throws something unpredictable towards me I think of people who are far worse than me and then too they are smiling. They are in a lot of pain but they have learned to smile in that pain and that makes me think how strong those people are. It is all about the mind and the perspective of how we see things if we look at it through a positive perspective then it makes living bearable.
Because I accepted things, I have become more grateful for the life I am living. I am so thankful that my life is not exactly filled with thunderstorms, and I need to protect myself every now and then. Being grateful, not only means big things but it’s mostly about small things in life like your favourite food, good sleep, a good friend, and buying a book basically small moments that bring you joy from inside and a smile on your face.
I say that life is not exactly a bed of roses as we will find thorns attached to it but that doesn’t mean we will ignore the beauty of the roses. I am feeling more grateful for life and I believe that you also have something that you should be thankful for, yourself!

(via Taking a Break…)
Even though I do the same thing every day, my energy is getting drained, and I can feel myself getting physically and emotionally tired, and I wonder why. Because the stress is catching up to me, every single day with the same task, my stress level is increasing, and the funny thing is that I don’t realize it until the last energy is left in me. I think I need to do work no matter what because this is what adult life is all about, right? No, it is not, there is so much we need to do other than work, and that is just taking a rest.
I see my break as a step back to just relax and appreciate what I have achieved till now, and then believe that I will do the same ahead as well. Everyone says that work is everything but nobody gives enough emphasis on how much a break is needed. Taking a break from a hectic life is not something that will come to mind until we don’t feel ourselves drained from the outside and inside, we won’t notice how hard we have worked, but we need to realize that before we feel ourselves drained, we need to take a break.
Work is never going to stop, nor the problems, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take a break, life is unpredictable, however, life has bound you by fate, what is written in your fate will happen no matter what, so why not live peacefully before any destruction comes. So keep aside all your work, and just close your eyes, let your mind rest and soak in the mandatory break that you need. Doing work is important, but at the same time taking a break is highly important for your mind and body.

(via Don’t ever stop.)
I have always known that life is a cycle of happiness, sadness, happiness and just like that life continues. We humans tend to feel a lot of emotions that make us feel good and bad about ourselves. Life indeed makes you think that your negative weighs over your positive and we just sit and question our lives. But I always remember how much I have done and how hard I am working and I am going to be okay.
The important thing I have learned is to never stop, life is going to throw many challenges towards me but I have to keep pushing myself. Don’t ever stop, believe me, you are worth everything you want. Somedays might look tough and it will be difficult going through it but life is not always bad it’s the way you can see the good side of life and yourself.
Don’t ever stop believing in yourself, you can do so much and you will realize that one day but before that please keep trying hard. Don’t think just do, because thinking will only make the scenario worse and what is not even true. Don’t ever stop for anyone, do whatever you want, you just live once and make the most out of it. The major thing that keeps me going is to try, at least try without caring about the result because trying won’t leave you with regret but not trying will.

(via Review: 'Review: 'Lovely Runner' K-drama (2024))
It is so hard nowadays to find a drama that you know you will return to it again but Lovely Runner is an exception. Man, what a drama! It is filled with every trope that exists. It is divided into three main parts and is a true traveller drama that is not as confusing as other dramas. K-dramas are now creating more male leads that are cheerful and lovable like Ryu Sun Jae. He is literally a loser in love and what a plot twist in the second ep that I did not expect.
Im Sol, is an angel and a hilarious character that did every embarrassing thing to protect her Sun Jaeeeee, hahaha. The girl went through a lot to change her and his fate, but if you are tied by the string of fate, nothing can stop it. The family of both is freaking hilarious, especially Sun Jae’s father. He can’t believe that his son can be this loser for a girl, his reaction is priceless. Im Sol’s mother and brother is another story of sarcasm.

(via Review: ‘Amidst a Snowstorm of Love’ C-drama (2024)
"Last year I was at a small bar that's the first time I saw her. I didn't go inside, instead, I stood outside and watched her for about five minutes. Of course, she didn't know this. I can still recall my thoughts at that moment. I have to meet her I have to go inside buy her a drink and get her number tonight. I knew exactly what I was thinking I knew, I knew she was the one. But I have no idea how to approach her or what to say to impress her. She is so pretty. I was scared to make any mistakes. Trust me. I was really afraid of screwing it all up. Well, what can I even say, she is so perfect and I might need to spend the rest of my life seeking her love. So, I'm not in a hurry at all." - Lin Yi Yang.
