hi everyone! this is so long awaited (i’m legit so lazy) but finally i have a masterlist/about me!

╰─▸ my names emma, i’m obviously in love w daryl dixon/norman reedus. i love to write and make edits — u guys should totally follow my tiktok account @mrsemmadixon or otherwise known as scudslut;)

i met norman jdkskajajs at the nyc comic con 2023, he signed the back of my phone case, i’ll actually die on a fucking hill. yes, he’s just as godly in person.

in my day to day life i work with animals 10 hours a day, they are my main passion aside from writing and whatnot, so if i post a photo of a really cute dog i met, that’s why lmao.

i have 2 cats right now, my baby lily i got last year and sophie who i’ve had since i was a kid. typically we rescue all our animals!

i deal with extreme anxiety and depression from a major accident that happened in my life a few years ago (so if i don’t respond or have trouble posting sometimes… that’s why and i really hope everyone understands.)

I love, love, love music. I play the piano and guitar, probably not very good but who cares. some of my all time favorite artists are.. and here we go on a rampage... deftones, cigsaftersex, wheezer, nirvana, mac, frank, lana, djo, catpower, the vines, dinosaur jr, labi siffre, the kills, tom odell, strokes, velvet underground, kendrick, norah jones, red hot chilies, the smiths, billy idol, the cure, no vacation, mazzy star, fleetwood, empire of the sun, pinegrove, otis redding, neil young, etta james, summer walker, motley crue, guns'n'roses, foo fighters, biggie, shady, nelly, jay-z, $uici$ide boys, gucci... and so much more, my music taste is actually bipolar.

i’m canadian

my parents are both extreme alcoholics, so i suffer from a multitude of childhood traumas as well as current ones. we love it here!:) but id like to think i relate to daryl in some sense, if its the only comfort i get from it.

i could live off of pasta, watermelon and coffee alone

i spend my time either at my job, reading, writing, editing or spending time with some close friends.

Trochę o życiu, muzyce, filmach

Wstałem. Może zbyt wcześnie, ale mocna kawa zrobi swoje. Po nocnej zmianie wyglądam, jak zombi i tak się czuję (jeśli zombi cokolwiek czuje). Piję kawę, jem makowca, za którym kiedyś nie przepadałem, a teraz zajadam się ze smakiem, oglądając Bez rezerwacji — program Anthonego Bourdaina. Kucharz, podróżnik, pisarz, którego programy lubię bardziej od makowca i czeskiego (mój ulubiony, którego jem, tylko dwa razy w roku — na urodziny i Boże Narodzenie) zwanego miodownikiem razem wziętych. Wczoraj obejrzałem film o życiu Anthonego — W drodze i tak sobie pomyślałem: kur.a, facet miał wszystko — jeździl po świecie, by tacy, jak ja mogli to oglądać, spełniony pisarz, dziennikarz, gawędziarz itd. popełnia samobójstwo w wieku 61 lat. Jego samobójstwo zaskoczyło mnie, podobnie, jak wtedy, gdy samobójstwo popełnił Robin Williams czy mój kumpel, oficer Legii Cudzoziemskiej. Samobójstwa zawsze wszystkich zaskakują, bo przecież przyszły samobójca nie mówi nikomu, że ze sobą skończy, a jeśli czasem się tak zdarza, to i tak nikt mu nie wierzy. Jedna iskra, jedna chwila i nie ma człowieka. Oglądam szczęśliwego Antka w Rio De Janeiro, który kibicuje żonie walczącej na macie. Jiu-jitsu, sport i zabawa. Wyciągają dzieciaki z biednych rodzin, dają im jeść i zachęcają  do uprawiania sportu. Jiu-jitsu narodowy sport Brazylijczyków, a jeśli już o Brazylii mowa, to przed oczami stają mi sceny z filmu  Elitarni. Dosyć o Antku. Kiedy wstałem, kot imieniem Stefan niemal od razu skierował swoje kroki do sypialni i teraz śpi na miejscu żony. Słucham Mazzy Star - Fade Into You, które wstyd przyznać po raz pierwszy usłyszałem dopiero trzy lata temu po przeczytaniu książki 9 godzin do nieba — Williama Wayne’a. To, był taki czas, że słuchałem tej piosenki całymi dniami od rana do nocy. Naszprycowany organizm zastrzykami w kręgosłup, tzw. blokadami, które miały uśmierzyć ból, a zamiast tego spowodowały bezsenność, wariował. Słuchałem muzyki w dzień i w nocy. Jedyny plus tych blokad, był taki, że bardzo dużo pisałem, ale ból, jak był, tak pozostał i skończyło się na operacji — stabilizacji kręgosłupa — nieudanej zresztą i po trzech miesiącach, trzeba, było znów iść pod nóż. Kolejna piosenka z tamtego czasu to Beach House - Myth, do której lubię wracać podobnie, jak do cigaretów (słucham każdego dnia), a Apocalypse mam ustawione, jako dzwonek. Cigarettes after sex — Apocalypse z urywkami genialnego filmu — Między słowami. Dla odmiany Chris Botti i jego trąbka. Cinema Paradiso z pięknego filmu o tym samym tytule. Muzykę skomponował Enio Moriccone i jego syn Andrea. Film o przemijaniu, pełen wspomnień z dzieciństwa i nadziei na lepsze jutro. Czy można mieć nadzieję, że jutro, będzie lepszy dzień? Pewnie tak, ale to niczego nie zmieni. Nikt nie spełni naszych marzeń. Sami musimy o nie walczyć, choć często brak sił i zwątpienie ogarnia człowieka, widząc, że kolejny dzień, to kalka poprzedniego.
