once again thinking (and crying) about melkor and mairon and the repetition of mistakes that would cost them everything ,,,
mairon being adamant about not being like melkor, about having learned from his mistakes, confident in his future victory, until he suddenly stands in eregion, in front of the same choice melkor had to make in valinor: lay down your cruelty, your selfish ambition, your trickery and deceit and instead choose the light and love so freely offered to them.
and mairon - just like melkor - turns his back to that acceptance and chooses his own undoing instead.
#i come on here just to scream about silvergifting and melkor x manwe#in my heart of hearts i truly believe that after some time together tyelpe knew who annatar was#mayhaps not exactly the knowledge of sauron#but he knew that his hands had wrought cruelty to the land under melkor's service#and yet his still took those very hands into his own and accepted all of him#just as manwe once did#miss me with that 'manwe couldn't understand evil' thing#manwe had hope for melkor#he believed in him and loved him#it wasn't ignorance or stupidity#it was love#screaming crying sobbing about them all

Baby Blues
Summary ⊠After six months of being married, you and Cregan are still struggling to conceive, leading to you becoming insecure and slightly jealous in your marriage
Warnings ⊠Angst, jealousy, mentions of infertility and pregnancy, self doubt, insecurity, happy ending though
Notes ⊠This is based off of a request and I hope I did it justice. I did put a little twist on it just to make it a little extra angsty but enjoy!
Cregan pulled the covers back and grinned.
A little over a month had passed since your last moon blood, and now that a safe amount of time had gone by, he felt excitement fill him at the idea that you were finally with child.
The two of you had been trying ever since you got married six months ago, but it seemed that the Gods had not yet deemed you fit to be parents. Itâs something thatâs worried both you and Cregan, as it wasnât like there was a lack of trying between the two of you, and the Maesters said that you both were healthy. Realistically, your belly should be swollen by now but it just hadnât happened.
Now though, Cregan felt a sliver of hope rise in his chest. Beside him, you shifted and rolled over sleepily to see why your husband had taken the covers from you. You were cold, but once you saw what he was looking at you immediately warmed up.
âIt still hasnât come,â You realized, fighting a smile. Your heart beating a little faster as you saw the clean sheets.
âNo. No it hasnât,â Cregan, trying and failing to conceal his own grin, said. âItâs been next to two months now.â
âWhich could mean nothing,â You chewed your lip, reminding him that sometimes a womanâs blood could be late. But Cregan chose to be optimistic.
âOrâŚâ
You squealed as suddenly, your husband pulled you into his arms and peppered kisses all over your neck. Laughter filled your chambers as you tried to push him away, but Cregan held you firm, his hands gentle as they pressed against your belly. âMayhaps my seed has finally taken.â
âMhmm. Well, weâll see about that,â You said cautiously, not wanting to get your hopes up until you knew for sure. More time would need to pass before you allowed yourself to truly believe, as the heartbreak of your moon blood simply being late would be devastating. You were already worried that something was wrong with your womb and the longer you went without getting pregnant, the more that worry grew.
Over the next few days, you held caution close to your chest as a way to shield yourself in case Cregan was wrong. In case this time was just false hope like all the others, but as the days went on and suddenly it became a month and two weeks without getting your moon blood, you caved.
You and Cregan couldnât stop grinning the moment you finally revealed to the Maester what was happening. It was too early to be one hundred percent sure, but he assured you that it was a good sign and only time would tell. Despite this, Cregan insisted on celebrating the incident, claiming that there needed to be a feast held to honor the coming of a new heir. Your husband was so excited that you didnât even have the heart to dissuade him, admittedly excited yourself.
As the Lady of the castle, you made the plans and collaborated with the Maester to send out invitations. And within two more weeks, all of the nearest houses in the North were gathered at Winterfell, happy and merry as they celebrated you and Cregan.
It was a lively feast, and definitely the most exciting event in the North for a while. Cregan had insisted on having the best ale present and the best food, as it was summer and their stores had extra to spare.
You had never seen your husband so alive; so filled with happiness and joy as he drank to his new heir. Of course, you were being moderate and only stuck to cider or water, but you didnât mind. At least youâd be sober enough to remember this night, and the way that it filled you with such love to see everyone so happy.
To you, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted from your shoulder and the fear of disappointing Cregan and the North faded. You knew it was silly, as Cregan had reassured you many times that heâd still love you even if you couldnât provide him with a child, but fulfilling your duty had been drilled into your head since you were born and now you could rest.
You were pregnant, hopefully, and your days of waking up and feeling like a failure were over. That night, you ate, you laughed, you toasted to your unborn babe and you held Cregan tight when later, he whispered to your non-existent baby bump.
âHelloooo thereeee. IâmâŚIâm your father,â He slurred while you laughed, unable to help yourself as you knew he was one hundred percent piss drunk.
âMy love, I think we should be going to bed so you can sleep this off,â You told him, but Cregan waved you off and rested his head on your belly.
âJustâŚjust a minute,â He told you, and he seemed to sober up a little as a small sigh left his lips. âI wannaâŚI wanna say a few words to our little wolf.â
He pressed a delicate kiss to the exposed skin and nuzzled your belly with his nose, pausing for a moment before continuing. âIt tookâŚit took a while for you to get here, didnât it? Your mother and IâŚwe were worried. I thoughtâŚI thought that maybe there was something wrong with me at first and thatâs why you didnât come, but Iâm glad to know that me cock still works.â
âCregan!â You were both amused and a little surprised to hear that it was him he blamed for such a wait, not you. You never realized that your husband felt responsible for not being able to conceive these past few months, and it both saddened your heart and made you feel less alone to know that he carried the same guilt on his shoulders.
âIt was no oneâs fault the babe took so long,â You reassured him gently, running a hand through his hair. Cregan sighed at your touch, leaning into your lap as he nodded.
âAye. It just seems like our little wolf is stubborn is all,â He smiled.
He finished off his speech with a few more words of love to your belly, and the entire time you felt yourself smiling bigger and bigger. By the time Cregan had finished, finally stumbling into bed and grumbling about a headache, you were sure that your cheeks were going split from smiling so much. Words couldnât describe how full your heart felt, how much you were overflowing from sheer happiness and joy. Everything you had ever dreamed of was coming true and it was all because of the little babe growing in your belly.
âGood night, my little moon,â You smiled as you placed a hand over it, almost as a way to protect them as you fell asleep. Sometime during the night, you felt Creganâs large hand doing the same, and together your warm hands protected your little miracle.
â
The next morning, you woke up with the sun shining on your face. Yawning, you reached over to say good morning to Cregan, only to find the bed empty.
He must have gotten up early, you thought with a frown.
You thought about yesterday, about how carefree and happy your husband had been. He was so excited to know that he was getting another child, excited that little Rickon would have a younger sibling to protect. You were sad to think that he now had to focus on his duties again, but what could you do?
Duty never waits for anyone.
Trying to shake off your disappointment, you cradled your stomach and sat up in bed. After stretching and taking a small sip of water from the pitcher your maids had left you, you yawned again and threw the covers back.
Your eyes widened.
âOh Gods. Oh no, no, no!â
You scrambled up in a panic as tiny dots of blood stained your sheets, your eyes wide and your stomach dropping to your feet. Horrified, you placed a shaking hand over your mouth as denial flooded your veinsâbut the proof was there plain as day.
âNo. No, no, no! This canât be happening,â You whimpered, falling to your knees as you touched the satin material.
How could this be possible? You hadnâtâŚyou hadnât bled for two months, and now all of a sudden your moon blood decided to show up? After everythingâŚthe feast, Creganâs speech last nightâŚ
You shook your head as tears blurred your vision. Utter rage and devastation seemed to fill your heart as you sobbed, clutching your stomach as your whole body shook.
Both shame and embarrassment washed over you, knowing that the womb you cradled was empty. All those celebrations, all the toasts and the speeches that were givenâŚit was for nothing.
You werenât pregnant, and just like that you were back in the same position you were when you first arrived in Winterfell.
Scared. Heartbroken when your moon blood still came after the bedding. Terrified as the thought of being barren and unable to bare Cregan another child haunted you.
All of a sudden, those fears came running back to you and it made you want to throw up. It made you want to shout and scream, ask the Gods what they hated you so much as to allow this.
Why? Why have you all cursed me? Why wonât you let me bare my husbandâs child? Am I not good enough? Am I just not meant to be a mother?
No, no. It couldnât be true. Despite what the Gods thought, you refused to believe it. You didnât want to believe it, not willing to accept that you had let Cregan down, again.
Gods, and he had been so excited to be a father again. You knew that he always wanted a big family, but sadly his first wife had passed away in childbirth. It had taken him two years to remarry, and now he was stuck with only one son and a second wife that was probably barren.
A cruel fate he had been dealt, really.
And now, as you stared at the droplets of blood staining the sheets, an ugly feeling crawled its way through your chest. Something that felt akin to jealousy, which you knew was ridiculous and borderline sinful.
It was an ugly, awful thing to envy a dead womanâand you swore to yourself that you never would. You knew how much Cregan loved you, and you were mature enough to know that one person could hold love in their heart for two people. Still though, you just couldnât help yourself.
Arra might have died for it, but at least she gave him an heir. I cannot even offer him anything, You thought bitterly.
The realization just made you cry harder, wondering if when Cregan found out heâd lose his patience with you. You wondered if your husband would curse the Gods as you did; ask them why theyâd taken his perfectly good wife away from him and cursed him with a barren one.
You knew that he wouldnât, as deep down you knew your husband was not that kind of man. Grief however had skewed your mind, and it made you not think straight as you scrambled up.
Wiping your tears, you leaned over the bed and tore the sheets off with one pull. In a frenzy, and motivated by the desire to not let Cregan see them, you stuffed them deep within your closet and sobbed.
You donât remember when you dressed yourself, or when you even left the room, really.
All you knew was that everything felt like a blur, the whole world passing you by as you aimlessly wandered through Winterfell.
You donât remember what you were even looking for or why, but eventually you found yourself somewhere that surprised even you. In the hallway of an abandoned corridor, staring at the portrait of Creganâs late wife.
You werenât sure what possessed you to go there, or to even stay once you realized what it was. But something kept you rooted to your spot, and you found yourself entranced as you stared at the artwork.
Arra was beautiful, that was for sure. She had long dark hair, common amongst the Northerners, and big blue eyes that seemed to stare at you accusingly.
From what youâd heard from Cregan, she was his childhood sweetheart. Kind and generous, your husband had once reassured you that sheâd love even you, when you were once worried that her ghost would somehow blame you for stealing her husband and child.
âArra was a gentle soul,â Cregan explained, âAnd sheâd love you for the simple fact that you make me happy, and that you are going to be a wonderful mother to her son and his siblings.â
Now, you wondered if that would still hold true. You had failed at the last part, and surely once Cregan found out, the happiness he once found with you would fade.
You wondered if then Arra would still be so accepting of you; a woman who had stolen her husband and her child and couldnât even do anything to keep him happy.
It haunted you to think so. Sent a burning feeling through your chest. A feeling of failure. A feeling of jealousy, that this woman had given your husband everything youâd ever wanted to give him and more. A feeling of sadness when you realized that she had died for it, and now her place had been taken by someone as useless as you.
A few hours later, thatâs where Cregan found you. Staring at the portrait of Arra Norrey, crying your eyes out over a dead woman, his late wife, and the babe that never even existed in your womb.
âY/N?â Cregan approached you cautiously, alarm and panic in his eyes as he saw you sunken on the floor. You hadnât know it yet, too caught up in your grief, but youâd been missing pretty much the entire day and no one had been able to find you since this morning.
The sun had long set, and just when Cregan felt like he was about to lose his mind, he remembered one last place he hadnât checked. A place he used to visit all the time when he was a child, hiding and sneaking away with his now late wife. But he hadnât had the heart to visit since she died, not until the possibility of you being in danger arose.
It was here that he found you, and immediately your husband rushed over to you, taking you into your arms and inspecting you for any signs of danger as you cried.
âWhat has happened? Are you hurt?â
âNo.â
Somehow, you managed to force the word out, shaking your head as you tried to quiet yourself. You hadnât meant for him to find you like this, honestly you hadnât. Youâd meant to go find him hours ago and tell him the news, but you were stuck to this spot and you couldnât move. The entire day youâd been paralyzed with grief and it was obvious you werenât okay even though you tried to convince him you were.
âIâm fine, Cregan. Really,â You told him, but of course he didnât believe you.
He reached a hand out to touch your face, wiping your tears as he set his torch down. The new angle allowed you to see his face better, to see the worry and the panic and the grief.
You curled into yourself even more knowing that you had probably caused it, and knowing that you were about to add to it even more.
âY/N, what happened?â Cregan demanded. He was perplexed. âWhy have you been down here the entire day? Itâs nearly midnight. Weâve been searching for you for hours. Everyone was worried, I was going out of my mind thinking that something awful had happened to you! And the babeââ
Cregan suddenly paused as you began to cry harder, his eyes wide as you cradled your empty womb. Something in his head seemed to click, an awful thought heâd never even considered before rendering him weak.
âGods. Has something happened to the babe? Is that why you disappeared?â Cregan panicked, and you couldnât stop the plethora of tears that slid down your cheeks.
âIâm sorry.â The dam broke, and you launched yourself into Creganâs arms as his face turned to horror. âIâm sorry. Iâm sorry, Iâm sorry. Cregan, IâŚthere is no babe,â You explained to him, and you watched as his expression hardened.
âMy love, what are you talking about? What has happened to our child?â He demanded to know. You held your head shamefully.
âThe sheets, Cregan,â You told him softly.
He paused. âWhat?â
âI bled.â The confession left a bitter taste in your mouth, Cregan reeling back in shock. âMy moon bloodâŚit came this morning while you were out. I took the sheetsâŚso you wouldnât know and IâŚI wanted to tell you, I swear. But I justâŚI didnât know how and I didnât want you to be disappointed in me,â You whimpered. âIâm sorry.â
You looked away, afraid to see his face. Afraid to see the disappointment and the anger that was sure to come. Afraid to see the same accusing stare that Arra wore.
You averted your eyes, because you didnât think you could bare watching the moment your husband realized that you were a failure. That it was you all along and not him that couldnât conceive a child. It was your womb, your body that was preventing his happiness.
You didnât think you could watch the moment all of it faded away.
âY/NâŚâ
You flinched as Creganâs hand gently grabbed your face, making you look at him no matter how hard you tried not to. His rough, calloused fingers stroked your cheek, and he looked awfully gentle for a man that shouldâve been angry beyond belief.
âMy love, look at me. Look at me, please.âďżź
You blinked, and all of sudden you were gazing into his eyes, one blue and one brown. Both of them looked soft and warm, Cregan sighing as he shook his head.
âYou will never be a disappointment,â He said firmly. âNot to me. And I donât want you to ever think such a thing. You are a good wifeââ
âWho has failed you time and time again, Cregan,â You sniffled, âIt has been six months, and I have yet to fall pregnant. You already have a son, so we both know it is me. IâŚIâm the one that keeps disappointing us. And I donât know what to do anymore. I justâŚI just want to give you a child already. I want to be just as good as Arra was.â
Cregan had been stabbed before, cut from navel to collar and yet nothing in the world was as painful as watching you break down in his arms, desperate for the child you did not have.
It made him feel helpless to see you cry, and he hated that feeling. Hated that there was nothing he could do except for hold you, and offer you sweet words in hopes that it would soothe the ache.
âAnd you will. One day, you shall bare me another child, but if the Gods have decided that it wonât be today then so be it. Weâll try again and again until the time is right, and if that time never comes then Iâll still be with you every step of the way,â Cregan whispered.
He rested his forehead against yours and stared into your watery eyes. In the dying light of the torch, he could see the way they danced with a thousand emotions, each one more devastating to see than the last.
âYou will be a mother one day my love, but please, do not compare yourself to her,â He continued. âArra bore me a son, yes, but she gave her life for it. I would rather give Winterfell to my uncle Bennard than to see you perish for a child as well. I cannotâŚI cannot bare losing you too. Do you understand?â
You could hear the pain in Creganâs voice, the unspoken truth that heâd rather you never be a mother than to have you leave him as well. It made your heart ache at the thought of never having your own child to share, flesh and blood and bones made from your love.
It would haunt you to the end of your days, but dying and leaving your husband alone in this world would destroy you even more.
You nodded. âI understand,â You told Cregan softly.
The warm fire light died down as you held one another in that corridor.
Nevermind that half the castle was still looking for you; in that moment, you only wanted your husband, his presence the only thing that could soothe the aches.
As Creganâs strong arms and soft words comforted you, your eyes turned to look at the portrait of Arra. You wondered, if in her final moments she felt the same comforts as you didâcontent knowing that no matter what happened, sheâd have a husband who would be there for her until the very end.
You hoped that she had.
â
In the morning, Cregan declined seeing off his most loyal bannermen, keeping his promise of being by your side whilst you visited the Maester.
You were shaking, undeniably terrified for what he was going to say, but you kept your head high and held onto Creganâs hand the entire time he examined you.
You told him of your bleeding last morning, and how it had seemingly stopped today. You confessed that you hadnât been feeling the usual symptoms of morning sickness or fatigue, but your breasts were sore and your appetite seemed to have increased.
Your body was an endless maze of confusion and it put you through emotions you werenât even capable of understanding. You didnât see how the Maester could either, really, but you supposed that he was used to these kinds of things more than you were.
After you had answered all of his questions, you braced yourself, squeezing Creganâs hand as you prepared for the Maester to tell you what he thought.
And to your utter surprise, he merely smiled.
âBleeding from the womb for a day or two is rare after conception, but possible. The fact that itâs gone away is a good sign, My Lady,â He reassured you.
You felt Cregan gripping your hand tighter as a flurry of emotions filled your body. First, you were shocked. Then you were relieved. And slowly, the grief that had been eating away at your heart faded, and you felt the tiniest bit of something else bleed through.
Hope.
âYou meanâŚ?â
You didnât want to say it out loud, for fear of maybe being wrong, but the Maester seemed to catch on and nodded his head.
âYes. Gods willing, there should be a new child of Winterfell in about seven months,â He confirmed. And then he added, âCongratulations, My Lady. My Lord.â
He bowed to you and Cregan before leaving the room, also sensing that the two of you might like some privacy.
And he was right.
As soon as the door shut, Cregan pulled you into his arms and let out a shaky breath. You didnât even have to see his face to know that your husband was smiling, and when you hugged him against youâhardâyou could feel warm tears wetting your neck.
âDâyou hear that? Weâre having a baby,â You laughed in disbelief while Cregan chuckled, sniffling as he kissed alongside your jaw.
âI never doubted that we would,â He said honestly, and all you could do was hold him tighter, your own tears slipping down your cheeks.
âNo. No you didnât.â

The Succession
Summary: After the battle of Rookâs Rest, Queen Y/N is forced to rule alongside Prince Regent Aemond, in an attempt to keep her children safe and eventually seat her mother, Rhaenyra, on the throne. While attending her husband, on what appears to be his deathbed, she begins to unravel the dark truth of his near passing.
Aegon Targaryen x Velaryon(Strong)!Reader
âBehold, the traitor dragon, Meleys. Slain by King Aegon.â
Cole mightâve bellowed anything before the mention of Y/Nâs husband and she would not have heard it. Breaching the castle doors, out onto the streets, where the smallfolk stare in wonder. The Queen has scarcely been seen in the days following her husbandâs accession, leaving many to wonder if she still lives.
Here she stands, in the flesh, walking about them like a commoner. âWhere is Aegon?â She finds Ser Criston, keeping pace beside his horse.
âYou mustnât be about, your grace. It is not safe.â
âWhere is my husband?â
Ser Gwayne looks back toward his fallen nephew, now carried by men.
âNo,â Y/N shakes her head, falling in line with the oversized box one might mistake for a casket. She canât see much of anything through the slats.
âYou must return to the castle, my Queen.â Cole circles back for her. âHis Grace will need you at his side.â
âHeâs alive?â Y/N breathes.
âWhen last I checked.â
She nods, remaining beside her husband as he is carted into the castle, up the stairs to his chambers. The maesters await him, peeling away armor and bits of charred flesh with it, to reveal the extent of his injuries.
âIs my son going to die?â Alicent asks.
âHe is badly burned.â The maester informs the Queen dowager.
âMen survive burns.â Y/N says, holding a hand to her belly, attempting to quell the churning.
âHe has many broken bones.â
âBones heal.â
The grand maester sighs, âthat is our hope, your grace.â
What lies beneath his breastplate is naught but more red, angry skin, or lack there of. Alicent comes round to Y/N, a rare occasion, resting a hand on her shoulder. âMayhaps it is best you step away.â
âI will stay,â Y/N shakes her head, âif anything happens⌠I must stay.â Hold his hand as he goes, if it comes to it.
Alicent nods, withdrawing.
Aegonâs breathing is something awful. Men survive burns. Bones heal.
An eternity passes in that room, on bated breath. Eventually the maesters begin clearing out, leaving the King to mutter, incoherently.
âYour grace.â The grand maester turns to Y/N. âIt is done.â
âThank you, Grand Maester. For all you have done, I- I owe you a debt.â
The man takes her hand, âwe can only do so much to aid in the kingâs healing, I believe it is you he needs. Be his strength.â
Y/N nods, âof course.â She makes herself comfortable upon the mattress beside him as the doors close, giving them a moment alone.
Aegonâs mumblings grow louder, though still impossible to make sense of.
âShhh,â Y/N hushes him, brushing hair from his face. âThere is nothing to fear. You need onlyâŚget better for me. I will tend the council shortly, but I shall return.â
He quiets then, as though her gentle reassurance is all he wanted.
âI will not abandon you. Not now, not ever. Rest easy, my love. You are safe now.â She presses a kiss to his forehead, before taking the stairs down to join the small council.
Those sitting around the table are already in deep discussion, gaping at the Queenâs entrance, standing to greet her.
âSo kind of you to wait for me, my lords.â Y/N smiles, taking her ball from the center.
âWe thought you might be with his grace, the king.â The hand explains. âHe will be expecting you when he wakes.â
âI am not sure he will ever wake.â The grand maester cuts in. âHis fate lies with the gods now.â
âGive it time.â Y/N sniffs, âit has been mere hours since his return.â
âIf Aegon could wake, he would have done so for you.â Alicent decides. âA king cannot rule in his sleep, we must appoint a regent to serve in his absence.â
âI am awake.â Y/N reminds them.
âMy Queen,â Tyland Lannister interjects, âif I may be so bold. Your lord husband has been wounded in battle, he will need your tender hand if we hope him to make any sort of recovery.â
âThat is very thoughtful of you, Lord Tyland.â Y/N replies, in a measured tone. Should she lose her head before the council, there will be no coming back from it. âStill, I am willing and able to rule.â
âIn the event of his graceâs untimely death, we must be prepared to proceed with the succession.â
âUnderstandably, and we do not lack heirs. My husband and I have four children.â Y/N shifts in her chair. âAssuming, as you have, that the men of the realm will never accept a woman on the throne, we then pass the crown to our first born son.â To charm the snakes, you must behave as a snake.
The council looks to each other. âPrince Laenor is but two years of age, our next ruling king, by law; though too young to presently serve.â
âI will advise him, I am his mother.â
Alicent rises from her seat, âmight I humbly suggest myself? I have already done so during my late husbandâs long illness-â
âWhich was fine then?â Y/N arches a brow, âa wife to rule in her husbandâs absence.â
Alicent lowers her gaze. âThis is different.â
âBecause I am your enemyâs daughter and named heir,â Y/N huffs. âRules for thee, not for me. Isnât that right?â
âMind yourself.â
âOr what?â Y/N lifts a shoulder, âyou will usurp my husband, as you did my mother?â
âViserys changed his mind.â Alicent says, with finality. âI am sorry for whatâs happened, but with his dying breath, he wished for Aegon to be king. I pray you do not hear a similar whisper from your husband anytime soon.â
âI love my husband,â Y/N seethes, âlet that be known.â
âOf course, my Queen.â
âWhatever the members of this council intend to do now will be spoken plainly, in my presence.â Y/N demands, staring down at her wedding ring.
âI believe it is in our best interest to appoint Prince Aemond as Regent, until our King has been restored.â Ser Criston announces, âas hand, I know the kingâs greatest concern is the safety and well being of his wife and children. We must honor that, in these unprecedented times.â
Y/N swallows, âvery well.â
âMy Queen.â Aemond reaches past her for the council ball, abandoned by her husband.
ââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Y/N goes through the motions, putting their children to bed. All is well, my darlings. Father needs only rest. When they have each found sleep, she returns to Aegon. Speaking to him the same way she always has, as though he can hear.
âThe men of the council are restless in your absence. They circle like vultures now,â Y/N chokes out, touching the unmarred skin of his face. âAnd I am alone in thisâŚ.I have never been alone.â
If she knew no better, she could swear his fingers twitch against hers. Mayhaps she is gripping them too tightly. She releases his hand, much to Aegonâs dismay, grumbling his discontent.
âHush now, I am here and you are here. The rest will sort,â Y/N reminds him.
She watches him then, the heaving rise and fall of his chest, wrapped in bandages. Men survive burns. Bones heal.
In time, Alicent joins her at Aegonâs side. âHas there been any change?â
âNo,â Y/N shakes her head.
âYou are kind to be here, he loves nothing in the world as he loves you. I am sure your presence alone is a comfort to him.â
âThat is my hope,â Y/N admits.
âI will leave you to it.â Alicent offers a hint of a smile, making for the door.
âMummy.â
Y/N hears it, his mother does not. âAlicent,â she calls her back.
Alicent flicks away tears before turning round, âwhat is it?â
âHeâs asking for you.â
âF-for me?â
Y/N nods, giving his hand a squeeze.
Alicent returns to his bedside, passing a hand over the side of his face. âIâm here.â
He draws in a rattling breath, âprotect her.â Aegon stumbles over the words. âPlease, Mummy.â
Y/N inhales sharply, hushing him.
Alicent locks eyes with her daughter by law. I pray you do not hear a similar whisper from your husband anytime soon. âI will do this, for you, Aegon. You neednât worry.â
Aegon says nothing else, succumbing to sleep once more.
Alicent excuses herself, with a nod.
Y/N muffles the sound of her cries in the hand which isnât holding his. Sheâs only half awake by the time she hears footfall and whispering at the end of her husbandâs bed.
âWas it worth the price?â Helaena asks.
âIâve no idea what you mean, my darling.â Aemond mutters, brushing his lips against her cheek.

by the sea | legolas of greenwood
Description: You have a reputation for being reckless. What happens when you do something that finally makes Legolas snap?
Pairing: soldier!reader/legolas
A/N: I fought all my demons to write the fight scene. This was requested.
It was a perfect day; the sun was warm and the winds blew cold.
It was a day of adventure!
"I thought that days like these were lost to the darkness." You laid on the warm green grass, feeling the litter kisses on your exposed skin. "I missed the summer," you moaned - closing your eyes for a second.
You open your eyes, and his piercing blue ones meet yours.
"When we were elflings, we used to run around these same gardens with our naneths chasing after us." Legolas chuckles, reminiscing your childhood days.
In your shared youth, every day used to be summer - always filled with warmth and happiness, never imagining for a moment that days like that could be stolen away.
"I wish we could return to those days before the darkness." Your voice suddenly turned mellow. You try to hide this feeling, but it always returns - the darkness shivers our bones, and you know that he feels it too, in fact stronger than you do.
"Those days will return, mellon." He shuffles closer, until your bodies were merely inches away - both of you ignoring the stares from the passersby, no doubt, finding it strange that their prince was laying on the ground beside one of the King's guards.
He gives a deeper smile, and you scoot even closer.
You know what that smile means, he's about to say something clever. "They say that when you believe that something belongs to you, the entire world conspires for you to have it by your side." He whispers, flicking a strand of your hair away from your face.
"- there are a million things that I've been longing for, but the world has not given me anything - not once." Your eyes narrowed, and he laughs, aware that you were toying with him. "If you want it with all of your heart then it shall be given." He answers.
"Are you saying that I do not want anything with all of my heart?"
"Need I repeat myself?"
"Everyday, I pray to Eru Illuvatar that the darkness is vanquished."
"Maybe, it is in the works, mellon." He breathes, letting go of the banter. Mayhaps, he was praying for the exact same thing. "- enough of that talk. Are you prepared for our patrols next week?"
You are one of the greatest warriors in the King's army, the elves endearingly called you 'the Green Knight' for despite your command with the sword, you had a single flaw - your recklessness, your greenness, your innocence.
In the caprice of your youth - you currently believe that there is nothing in this world that can defeat you.
You are wrong.
"I can't believe that your father passed me over for Tauriel. I've been pining for that position and he knows it! There is nothing in this world that I want more that being Captain of the Guards." You exasperated.
Tauriel herself was shocked that she was chosen as Captain, matter of fact, she entered your chambers shortly after the ceremony saying that it should've been you. "- I love her and I celebrate her accomplishment, but my heart feels like it is ripped in half." You say.
"It is alright to feel that way, mellon. Mayhaps Ada saw a quality in her that he is yet to find inside of you." Legolas comforts, and you nod - cracking a smile. "Well there are a lot of things that Tauriel is better at," you concede defeat.
"- like shooting arrows." he teased, referring to something that happened a few years ago. "- and cleaning up after she trains." you add, and both of you share a laugh.
"I guess there are some things that I am yet to learn, but I wanted that post with all of my heart, and you told me that if I wanted something with all of my heart..."
"- then you shall get it. You will get it." he finishes the sentence.
You were about to answer but a screeching noise interrupts you. "Spiders," you note already used to that noise. You still remember your first encounter with the spiders - they were so big and violent, and you refused to harm them at first, thinking that they were part of Illuvatar's orchestra, but they weren't. Not anymore.
They were corrupted with darkness, and that darkness slowly took over the forest, leaving nothing but dust and death.
Your grip on your sword tightens, hearing more of that screeching. There were at least twenty of them judging from the sound. "Should we head back?" Legolas inquires, aware that your position in the guards is higher than his own. "I don't think that we have enough time," you whispered and he lifts your body - until you were sitting on a tree branch.
"There are fifteen to twenty of them. You should head back, while I fend them off." You surmised, it wouldn't be easy fighting this many spiders - you could break an arm but you wouldn't die, right?
It was impossible to die.
"If you are commanding me to abandon you, I won't do that." He insists, his eyes turning dark - his lips turns into a thin line. "There's only two of us Legolas. If not me, then who?" your eyes narrowed.
"You go home!" His voice raises slightly. You are taken aback by his sudden shift in tone - he was usually soft spoken with you. "I am the Captain of this patrol." Your eyebrows merged together. "- it is your duty to obey my orders." You glared, seeing the spiders begin to search for the source of the noise.
"I am your prince." He uses that card, and you roll your eyes.
"It does not matter in this operation, Legolas. Please just do what I command and we'll be rid of this problem." You pleaded, but the determined stare in his eyes does not shake off. "No." he says.
He reminds you of a child.
You ignore his disagreement and allow yourself to fall on the damp forest floor, the sound attracts the spiders and they begin marching in your direction.
All twenty of them smelling of mold and dirt. It was a nightmare, but a nightmare that you've fought with a thousand times.
You stand up, swinging at the spiders with ease.
Legolas falls down beside you, rising to his full height. "I will report your disobedience to the King himself." You threatened, annoyed at his disregard for his own safety. He does not respond to you.
He keeps silent. He fights the spiders.
When you turned to look at the next spider - it begins to lunge at you. Taking you aback with its sheer strength. "Legolas!" You yell his name, and that stare takes you by surprise. It is the same way that the King used to look at the Queen when she did something reckless.
It was a stare that you've bared witness to a million times, and now you were the recipient of it.
He cuts through the spider's stomach with ease, and the other spiders began to flee for their safety. He turns his back to you, picking up the dagger that he left on the forest floor. "Legolas," you begin taking sharp breaths - shaking off the panic that you felt.
He ignores you, again.
It has been eight hours since Legolas last spoke to you. "I don't understand why he evades me like a plague," you tilted your head - taking a sip of the wine that the King generously laid out.
"He does that when he's..." He pauses, thinking of a word that could properly explain his son's behavior. "Displeasured." He finishes.
You cross your arms in a huff.
"I've done nothing to cause him displeasure. As a matter of fact I should be the one who avoids his presence, he disobeyed my orders, my king. You would do the same thing if you were in my shoes." Your eyebrows merged together. The King responds with a chuckle.
"I cannot offer you an explaination for my son's actions. He is a being of his own. I cannot read his mind, child." He reminds.
Your frown only deepens.
What if...?
"What if he hates me forever?" You suddenly voiced out. You glance at the King and he looks unconvinced. "What ever fight you had, you must sort it out on your own. For what it is worth - I don't think that he hates you." He finished, placing a file on the table.
Directions of your next patrol.
"Take care." He swiftly reminds with a smile.
"Legolas if you are going to continue to evade me like a plague then a resolution for our problems will not come." You chased after him, but he continues walking - with his arms crossed in a huff. "I think that it is unprofessional for you to remain cross with me." You add.
He turns around to face you, a frown on his face.
"You could've died!" He raises his voice again.
Realization dawns.
"I am alive, Legolas,"
"I know that you are a great warrior, but you are reckless." He grits his teeth, anger flooding his senses once more. "It should not matter to you. I am the master of my fate, and also the captain of that patrol. You shouldn't have disobeyed me that day." You still insist.
You gaze up at him.
The sight of him with a frown on his face, him glaring at you. It breaks your heart. "Don't look at me like that," your voice breaks.
Legolas was your truest friend, there are times where you imagine yourself married to him - but that doesn't matter. Those feelings don't matter right now, because you could lose your friend! All because of what? His unwillingness to obey your orders?
"If I wasn't there, who knows what could've happened upon you?" He scowls, "- that spider could've ripped you apart. I would've lost you." he whispers the last sentence but you were able to hear. "- all of that before telling you the truth." His face suddenly softens.
"What truth?" You ask cautiously.
"I love you, meleth - and the thought of you possibly losing your life to the spiders we've dreamt of vanquishing has made me realize that I cannot live without you." He confesses, he opens his mouth again.
But you silence him with a kiss.

sapphire-hearted (part four)
Aemond Targaryen x f!reader
Aemond is not one who shares those which he thinks belong to him. Including you, as you'll soon find out after an eventful little feast.
themes/warnings: jealous!Aemond, third and fourth parties (but not really), Aemond is a stubborn and possesive arse, drunk Aegon - huzzah!
series masterlist âŞď¸ main masterlist
a/n: I can't believe it's been a year since I updated this fiery miniseries! Apologies if I couldn't tag everyone who asked from the previous chapter - taglist is now closed đ
The necklace is perhaps the most beautiful piece of jewelry you've ever seen.
With an intricate interwoven chain of Valyrian steel, and a sapphire pendant inlaid in a burnt bronze frame that glowed dark green in some lights, the frame displaying carvings that resemble Vhagar's scales.
There is no question to it. Not an inkling of doubt.
This gift is from Aemond.
"You simply found this when you arrived?" you asked your lady-in-waiting, as you pick up the necklace from its velvet casing and study it against the faint firelight in your chambers.
"Yes, my lady," she responds promptly. "Shall I fasten it upon you before you depart for the King's feast?"
Your mind forms almost immediately, resolute in your decision. "No, it will not be of any use to me this night. You may keep it away in my boudoir."
The thought of it around your neck is a pleasant one, to be sure. It is such a thing of beauty, fit to be worn to a royal gathering. But what message might it signal to the others?
What purpose might it serve - especially to Aemond - that you wear something that symbolises him?
All while your companion is Ramsay, with whom you hope to be betrothed.
And while Alys is likely draped upon Aemond's arm. That slimy, bastard witch.
You will not give in, and give him what he wants.
The necklace is far from enough to make up for how he has wronged you, so it stays in your chambers, safely tucked away in its casing, not to be worn until Aemond sets things right.
If he ever will.
Ramsay arrives at your door soon enough, accompanied by two of Aegon's guards. The awe in his gaze as he takes you in is so evident, so pure in its apparent innocence. Unlike Aemond's, who would be undressing you with a single passing look.
Unlike Aemond's, who - despite his trangressions - looks at you like he would burn the entire Seven Kingdoms for your hand.
But he has relinquished your hand when he took that witch to bed.
"You look dashing as ever, my Lord," you curtsy in greeting, as Ramsay kisses your hand. He is clad in a tunic in House Beesbury's yellow and paly black, as you are wearing a gown in your own House's hues.
If not the necklace from Aemond, branding you as his, why not something of Beesbury? It would anger Aemond so, but you are feeling petulant. Why can't you take a jab at him after what he had done?
"And what a lovely sash you wear," you say, observing his attire. "Mayhaps I might display this on my person? Have it as a sort of attachment upon my skirts? I would be proud to have everyone at the feast know that we have come together."
"Of course! I would be honoured, my lady." He immediately relinquishes it, handing it to your lady-in-waiting, who then fastens it around your waist. The colour is striking in contrast. The piece of cloth surely will not go unnoticed.
You make your way through the Red Keep, your arm entwined with Ramsay's. Sounds of the revelry make themselves heard as you near Aegon's private dining hall.
As the guards open the doors, you hear your names announced. Almost all the attendees are already sat around the table. Aegon and his host of sycophants, particularly Lord Reyne and Lord Estermont. Helaena and her lady companions. Tyland Lannister and his betrothed. Even Ser Criston Cole, who has never been one to partake in merrymaking, usually standing guard in the corner. There are some others whose names escape you, as you find your seats - among the last ones which remain empty, right next to Aemond and Alys.
"Welcome, dear lovely guests, welcome!" Aegon walks over to you, already on his fifth or sixth goblet of firewine. "Please find your seats, have a drink - or seven drinks, preferably, and... oh! Isn't that something, my lady? Beesbury yellow?" Not giving mind to any boundaries, he toys with the sash tied around your waist.
Aemond twists around in his seat, catching sight of you for the first time.
His pupil dilates considerably, with a single glance at your face, then down to your dĂŠcolletage... where the necklace is nought to be seen.
What he sees, raking over your figure, is that sickening shade of bright yellow. That Beesbury sash tainting the beauty of your gown.
Tainting the woman who is rightfully his.
His hand instinctively goes to the scabbard in his belt, though his sword remains in his chambers. It matters not, he can just as easily demand one from the Kingsguard.
Because the rat who calls himself Ramsay has surrendered any desire to stay alive.
"So... you here," Aegon guides you to your seat, with his arm loosely draped around your waist. "And you right there," he adds to Ramsay.
If you didn't know any better, you'd think the seating arrangement is accidental. But you know Aegon - he surely planned it to be Ramsay, you, Aemond and Alys beside each other.
Aemond openly stares at you as you settle down to his left.
"My Prince," Ramsay greets from your other side, "Lady Alys."
"Oh, it's just Alys, m'lord," she clarifies, unabashed. "I am no Lady. I am simply here at the behest of my dear Aemond."
"Prince Aemond is fortunate to have you as his companion, Alys," you smile sweetly, concealing any ire you might have. "As I am fortunate to have Lord Beesbury by my side."
Alys nods, raising her cup to you. To anyone, it's an innocent enough gesture, but you see her up close, and you see into the depths of the witch's gaze. She knows about you and Aemond, of course she does.
The attention of your companions are diverted, and Aemond wastes no time in leaning closer to you. He grips your thigh underneath the table, away from any prying eyes.
"My love," he purrs, "you never fail to take my breath away. Although I never thought you would sully yourself by wearing that. I trust you received my gift?"
You cross your legs so that his hand falls off, but it doesn't faze him. He simply finds purchase yet again, this time digging harder into your flesh. So warm, it almost feels as if your skirts do nothing to prevent his encroaching touch.
"Hmm, don't test me, now," he warns, lips curling back in annoyance. His tone is so deep you feel the heat pooling in your core.
"I could say the same to you," you counter. "Do not lay a hand on me, my prince. Especially not in the presence of my betrothed." You push his hand away, and he relents for the moment, reaching for his goblet and downing its contents in one angry swig.
"And by betrothed, you must mean that you have reconsidered my proposal and agree to be wed to me, your only love," he says, daring you to challenge him.
"You are mistaken, Aemond," you respond coolly. "I do appreciate the necklace. It is a marvel, indeed. But there is a reason why I don something of Lord Ramsay's instead of it. I am not yours. I feared the message it would send were I to wear the necklace to this feast."
"What message, my love? The truth? That you are mine and mine alone?"
"That is finished - "
"If you value Lord Beesbury's life by any small measure, you would not speak to me of such vile ideas. He will not have you, lest he wishes his head to no longer rest upon his shoulders."
"Resorting to threats now, are we?" you spit venomously. "You will not harm him. Or I swear to you on my mother's memory that I will never speak with you again."
That shuts him up. He exhales deeply, weighing your words, studying your expression. He wants to fight back and to call your bluff, but it is no use. His gaze is drawn down to your lips, and he moves closer just an inch, his own lips parted in longing and torment.
"Well, it seems we may have more cause for celebration!" Aegon bellows from the head of the table, with a grinning Ramsay standing by his side. You tear your attention away from Aemond, but he lingers on you, until his brother calls out for him. "Aemond! You must have known about this, dear brother, as I understand you and the lady have always been close."
The guests share glances, already assuming what the news might be, but none of them say a word for fear of their Prince Aemond.
"IderÄbagon aĹha udra sČłrÄŤ, lÄkia." Choose your words wisely, brother, Aemond warns him. The mood of the entire room shifts, as it inevitably does whenever Aemond speaks.
"Oh come now, none of that!" Aegon groans, drunk and unamused. Nothing will bring his spirits down, not even his far more intimidating younger brother. "These are happy news. Something about a successful betrothal, I hear?" he declares, nudging Ramsay to make the announcement.
Ramsay locks eyes with you, and you manage to give a stiff smile, aware of the simmering rage of the one seated beside you.
"Allow me," Aemond stands, raising his cup to the entire table.
"Even better," Aegon shrugs, "you have always been excellent at dinner proclamations, lÄkia." Brother, he addresses Aemond, his own Valyrian disjointed and careless.
Aegon sits back down and raises his cup. A confused but still smiling Ramsay returns to sit next to you.
Ramsay hurriedly tells you, "I was hoping to share the news myself, my lady, but - "
"Do I not have your attention, Lord Beesbury?" Aemond interrupts.
"O-of course, you do, my prince," Ramsay stammers, reaching for his cup with shaky fingers. You take notice and place your hand atop his to provide comfort.
Someone else takes notice, unfortunately.
"A toast," Aemond voices clearly, and a hush falls over the room, "to a new betrothal."
"Hear, hear," Aegon responds, taking a sip of firewine and waving for the others to do the same.
But Aemond is not finished just yet. "We are not often afforded the privilege to marry for love, and that is what makes this union so exceptional."
You stiffen in your seat, dreading the next words that you know will come out of his mouth. For you know him so well. You know Aemond's design.
"It is an honour to take my love to be my wife," he raises his cup as he gestures to you, and you swear you could hear a pin drop in the deafening silence that ensued. "She is already the keeper of my heart, so the ceremony will only be a formality. But I shall take her as mine in every way that I can. In front of the old gods and the new."
You are unable to drop Aemond's gaze, unable to see the look of betrayal Ramsay is giving you.
"Hear, hear," Ser Criston offers, in an attempt to cut through the tension.
Aegon releases a fit of laughter, prompting his fawners to follow suit.
"Seven hells!" he exclaims. "More wine, more wine for all!"
Aemond rushes to you, pulling you out of your chair, not paying mind to anything or anyone else.
"Come with me," he commands, his fingers tight around your wrist.
You feel powerless as you let him herd you away from the table and out of the hall.
"Oh, would you look at them!" Aegon practically squeals, and calls after you, "It is customary for the bedding to be after the wedding, you two! But then again, who fucking cares?"

james potter x fem!reader ⎠2.2k cw/tags: established relationship, that âcouple paints each otherâ trend on tiktok, MOO DENG CAMEO, tooth-rutting fluff mayhaps? and a lil crack :>
If you were ever put in a situation where youâre stuck in a room full of complete strangers, chances are that youâd strike up a conversation with one, two, or a handful of people no matter how off-putting they might seem as a stranger. You had a knack for talking peopleâs ears off, your mouth running faster than your brain ever didâspewing word after word before you could even finish your train of thought.Â
Frankly speaking, you were well-aware that your talkativeness came across as annoying to most people. It was a hard pill for you to swallow, because you really, really liked to talk to people. You thrived in sharing your interests and whatever it was that came to your mind with other people. But the pressure was immense, and societyâcruel, so you had to make do and shut your mouth if you could handle it.Â
When you met James, however, it was like one of those clichĂŠ moments in moviesâthe ones about destiny and fate and soulmates. Because who knew that youâd find your match in being a chatterbox in someone as charming, and lovely as him?Â
James Potter, in all his bumbling, comical, and boyish glory, did not stray away from you from the very first sign that gave away your talkative nature.Â
And it appeared that he wasnât planning on ever doing so in the near future.Â
âOh, but have you seen the one of her biting that zookeeperâs leg? Sheâs so adorableâ I canât!â You gushed as you filled in the gaps of Jamesâ uncolored earsâthe James in your portrait, not your actual Jamesâwith brush strokes of warm, chocolate brown paint.
The real-life James who sat across from you chuckled softly at your enthusiasm. âI know, right? Sheâs a little troublemaker, that one. Iâd steal her away if I could.â
âMe too, me too,â Your vehement agreement amuses your boyfriend. âGosh, what I wouldnât give to have a hippo as a pet!â
Jamesâ nose wrinkles, as if in distaste, at your statement. âWouldnât that be hard though? Theyâre always covered in mucus, and theyâre always underwater. Hippos are a little high-maintenance if you really think about it.âÂ
âRespectfully, James, I never asked for your opinion.âÂ
Jamesâ mouth hangs open in shock, his hand frozen as it holds a paintbrush in front of his own canvas of his portrait of you.Â
âI canât believe youâd say that to me,â He fakes a sob, shaking his head in disbelief. âI thought we had something special, love.âÂ
You sigh, going along with his act. âIâm sorry it had to come to this, Jamie. You know how I feel about pets.â
âSo thatâs just it, then? Youâre leaving me for a hippopotamus?â James cracks his voice at the end of his lamenting, hand flying up to cover his mouth, suppressing his âsobs.â
It was getting admittedly hard for you to keep up the act, though. But you persevere.
âItâs nothing personal, James. I swear,â Your voice wavers at the end, the start of an uprising laughter in your throat.
âDo you, actually?âÂ
You count what seems to be like five seconds of you and your boyfriend just staring at each other. It was almost as if James was challenging you to break. Ironically, you were starting to think that you were going to.Â
But then he beats you there as you watch his face split into a wide grin, his canines doing nothing to quell his boyish handsomeness. Your boy always looked good, but he looked especially nicer when he was happy, smiling.Â
Laughing, too, most of all. James had the kind of laughter that sounded like a wind chime when a breeze passed by, making you feel light and floaty as if on a cloud. He also had the kind of laughter that you just couldnât help but join in, and share the moment with him.
âAbsolutely nothing,â was what he would say whenever you asked him what you wanted to do together.Â
But if you asked him what youâd want to talk about? James would say, âAbsolutely everything.â
âNow I canât remember what I was supposed to do!â You exclaimed, your laughter dying down to soft, involuntary chuckles as the lighthearted air of Jamesâ relentless quips lingers between you both. âIf my portrait turns out wonky, Iâm blaming you.â
Jamesâ grin could only grow with pride. He always loved to make you laugh. âHey, thatâs not fair. I only asked ifââ
âNo, donât start again!â You rushed to stop him, pursing your lips to contain yourself.
âI havenât even said anything,â He beamed at you, unashamed of how cheeky he was being.Â
âYou were gonna!âÂ
Your boyfriend shakes his head resolutely, pushing his glasses up his nose with a careful finger. âNo, I wasnât!â
âTop ten things a liar would say.â
James scoffs, affronted. âTop ten things an unfair person would say.â
You tut, shaking your head disapprovingly. âYou need to come up with your own comebacks, you know.â
âWell, heyâ itâs not my fault I decided to date the loveliest, most creative, most swell girl ever in the entire world,â Your boyfriend reasons, his million-dollar smile ever present on his lips.
You feel your face grow warm by his words. Even after a year (and counting) of being with James romantically, you could never quite get used to his praising you. But that had been the dealâif you couldnât get used to it, then heâd have to do it more often so that you would eventually get used to it.
So, you clear your throat, returning your attention back to the task at hand: painting a portrait of your boyfriend. James can see right through your feigned indifference, but mirrors your actions with his own painting.Â
ââSwell?ââ You place the finishing touches of your painting of James on your canvas. Thereâs colours of red, brown, orange, yellow, and all its shades from the most subtle to the most vibrant. Youâre not really a painter, youâre more of an appreciator of paintings. But you hoped that the message would get through to your boyfriendâto you, he was love and warmth personified.Â
He shrugs in response, eyes glimmering with mirth as he works on his own portrait of you. You couldnât help but wonder what he had drawn and painted of you. The anticipation was high. âYeah, youâre swell.âÂ
âWhereâd you get that from?âÂ
âEr,â James scratches behind his ear with his free hand. âSirius.â
You couldnât help but smile. âI knew it.âÂ
Your boyfriend spares you a glance over his canvas, and you meet eyes with your smiles mirroring each other. James hears you snicker as you turn back to your painting, and the dimples in his cheeks deepen.
âAlright, I think⌠Iâm done,â You lean back against your chair, observing your portrait of James with criticising eyesâthough not necessarily criticising the muse of your painting, but rather the painting youâd done yourself.Â
Real-life James from across you makes a humming sound. âI think⌠I am, too.âÂ
âSo, whoâs going first?â The pair of you chorus, then laugh.
âLadies first?â Your boyfriend asked.
You consider it for a moment, eyes never leaving your painting as you continue to observe it. You were afraid of mucking it up further than how messy it looked now to you, so you refrain from making any more adjustments.Â
âUh⌠no. I think itâs best if you go first,â A rueful smile graces your lips.Â
James sighs, and you just know heâs downplaying his own efforts before the painting is even shown to you. âAlright, then. Here weââ
ââAlso because I think we should save the best for last,â You rushed to say, unable to resist the opportunity to tease him.
Your boyfriendâs eyes go comically wide, and as you do your evil cackling, he scoffs indignantly. âI see how it is. Well, feast your eyes upon my greatest creation of all timeâ!â
James grabs his canvas by the sides with careful hands, then flips it around so the front of his painting is finally facing you.Â
Behind the canvas, the artistâyour boyâhas his gaze fixed on your face, waiting for any sign of a reaction. In truth, heâd be devastated if you didnât crack a smile or gasp! âThis is amazing, James! I love you with my whole heart!âÂ
But heâs also aware that he wasnât Van Gogh or Picasso, so he should be cutting himself some slack. But damn it all if he doesnât get your stamp of approval on his painting of youâthe most beautiful work of art heâs ever seen.Â
Said âbeautiful work of art heâs ever seenâ now sits across from him, rendered speechlessâwhich was out of the ordinary, so you had James worried. You did expect something âhumbleâ to come out of his work, something worth placing in the Louvre museum that would rival the Mona Lisa, and something youâd both argue over like, âJames, this is amazing!â and heâd respond, âNah, I could do better.âÂ
Well, your expectations were met, but they had exceeded you by a lot. A lot, a lot.Â
The background of the portrait is painted in a pastel, sky blue colour, adorned with symmetrically shaped clouds in white. And thereâs that sun in the corner of the canvas, a smiley face drawn on it, tooâa staple in a childâs painting.Â
But it didnât stop there; alongside the clouds were some painted flowers. There were daisies, your favourite. Tulips, also your favourite. There were little bees and butterflies and hearts all around, there was so much going on in the background of the painting that you didnât know which to pay attention to.
Though you did know, realistically, which to pay attention to. It wasnât in the birds and the bees painted haphazardly across the backgroundâin the middle of the painting was a rather messier variant of you. You in your candid, cozy glory, donning your jumper. The curve of your jaw, the size of your eyes. James had managed to capture you in your likeness. You could see yourself in the painting.Â
Most of all, however, youâre speechless of the fact heâd managed to capture you beautifully. Have you always looked like this to him? Is this what he sees every time he looks at you? Is this what he sees now as he looks at you?
âErm, do youââ James clears his throat, his fingers drumming against the sides of his canvas as he held it up in front of you. He was anxious because you still hadnât shown any reaction whatsoever in the span of half a minute. âis it that bad?âÂ
A lighthearted jest. Probably to dissuade the brewing anxiety in his mind from your lack of a reaction. His leg was already starting to bounce restlessly from under the table. Heâs thankful that youâre unable to see that, at least.Â
ââBad?ââÂ
âYes, âbad.ââ A beat passes. âIs it?âÂ
You shake your head at once, having gathered your bearings after all. A smile slowly starts to make its way onto your face. âItâs not bad. Not at all, James, this isââÂ
James doesnât know what to do now, if heâs being honest. He wishes you could just come out and say it in his face that he was a trash painter, and that his portrait belonged in the dumps. Heâd rather that than wait in agonyâ
âItâs so nice,â You finally manage to say, your voice dripping with fondness for him. His heart skips a beat at the sight of your smileâall sweet and pretty and lovely, so lovely. So loving.Â
âReally?â James gains a smidge of his confidence back with your reactions. âYou like it?âÂ
âLike it? I love it!â You abandon your chair, rounding the table to tackle him into a hug, planting a loud smack of a kiss on his cheek. âYou made me look so pretty! Best boyfriend ever!âÂ
Said boyfriend feels like he could melt in your arms right now, but he returns your affections by tightening his own arms around your waist, pulling you down so that you sit on his lap.Â
ââBest boyfriend ever?â Now thatâs a title I can get behind,â He chuckles, grinning widely up at you as you did the same at him. Two birds of a feather, their love mirrored in one anotherâs eyes, and hearts.Â
Long story short, when you show your portrait to James, he makes sure to let you know that he loves it. Absolutely, indubitably adores it. He declares that heâll frame it and hang it up in his room. Heâll contact local historians to let them know that, âHey, I think weâve got another revolutionary artist in our time and itâs my girl.âÂ
(He also makes a few comments of how you âdidnât quite get his nose rightâ and how âhis hair looked exaggerated in your paintingâ and that that was âhair-racist.â What?)
At the very end of your date night, the pair of you decide to paint another pictureâa third to add to your collectionâbut this time around, it included the two of you, with a grubby look of a house beside you both, three other little people, some dogs here, some cats there, and then some.Â

YOUR ART IS SO CUTE AUGHâŚâŚ.. love the way u draw scarabia it makes my heart go đđđđđđ
I am curious if you have any Scarabia HCs⌠mayhaps Jamikali HCs?
Thank you!!! <333333
tbh I don't have many headcanons for Scarabia, but imo that's the chillest dorm, even with all the parties. Like, have you seen their dormitory? I wouldn't act up if I lived in a comfy place like that too.
But jamikali. Uhhhh
this is my own sort of turkish palace tv drama. More under the cut. It's gonna be long.
I like to imagine their relationship developing after a nice piece of timeskip (despite most certainly having feelings for each other in college), when they finally learn how it is to live apart from each other, growing out of their destructive behaviors at least for a bit.
My main headcanon and maybe the most delusional one that Kalim would mature up with time, getting more independent when Jamil leaves, though without losing his canonic positivity - in fact just growing up.
While Jamil learns how is it to be simplier and less demanding towards other and himself, traveling alone, not setting down anywhrre for too long. Though the main thing is that they cannot in fact forget each other, and break the attachment despite getting used to each other's absence, and their feelings finally getting some particular shape - and it's impossible to fully let go, no matter how hard they (mostly Jamil) try ;)
I rarely think of a particular reasons that could bring Jamil back to Asim household, though I have one little au concerning this matter which includes long distance between them with no communication, and even some kids, so I may share it one day. so I just keep it on the level of flat concept - Jamil returns after traveling, to either serve again or for Viper family matters.
I love to imagine Jamil's confusion and shyness at the sight of even more confident Kalim after a period of being apart from each other, and Kalim being happy to finally make Jamil look at him differently, which he consciously or subconsciously has been keeping as a goal all the time.
For some reasons I feel like Kalim would take lead in their relationship because he seems bolder to me when it comes to making decisions - Kalim just knows what he wants :/
So it's a hard for Jamil to process all the non-casual compliments, gifts and obvious advances (but not rejecting them, still afraid of his own feelings), just like in this post. Under these circumstances I believe Kalim is the one who attached the most, just because I love crazy devotion and loyalty :P (and Jamil is too used to lie to himself to admit his attachment aloud.)
It's a strange concept, but mostly it's just a huge headcanon I always keep in my head when I draw them - an emotional bond that just won't break, no matter if there's distance, time or silence between them.
It's hard for me to imagine them trying each other out during college years - too many predicaments and prejudices, they are too used to each other, and for their relationahip to work out they both need time to emotionaly mature up and... just have a rest from each other.
Anyway loving them endlessly.
it would be easier to just list the goddamn headcanons but I always talk too much I am so sorry
#ask#anon#also Kalim gives the craziest fairytale romance book prince compliments ever and Jamil unironically enjoys them. he told me himself#also I think Kalim can't keep his hands to himself and always seeks physical contact#and Jamil gets crazy flustered by it just because he is Jamil and he probably can't react normally on anything#I hope that makes some sense#art#sketch#jamikali#kalijami#TYSM ANON <3333333#no normal illustrations but a lot of text again#well I guess that's what blog's for#twst#twisted wonderland#scarabia

crossposted on ao3
Laughter, banter, and cordial interactions are all actions anyone can implement in any dealings with any individual. Those interactions result in hopefully deeper and more meaningful relationships, no matter way of showcasing them.
That's how Sanji caught your attention, parting ways for you to roam around freely in a room, cooking your special meals, and buying you things that reminded him of you just to name a few. His acts of worship and treating you like a Greek goddess walking amongst humans fluttered your heart like a butterfly setting free of its cage...
But there was more than one Greek goddess, and each goddess could represent her powers, and you saw yourself as one of many with the Sanji acts.
Chivalry is an eloquent quality he pertains within him, an admirable feature that makes you feel safe, protected, and loved...
But you were loved solely by Sanji? He thought he did, but to you, you were just like any other woman he interacted with. You were on the same level as Nami when she requested a tangerine-based dessert and Sanji dropped everything and got it for her, you were on the same level as Robin when she came down the stairs and Sanji kneels down and held her hand gently like she was glass as she gave him a warm smile, you were in the same level as the woman at the market who struggled to get the canned soup at a high shelf only for her to flutter her lashes as a thank you and Sanji got weak instantly. The way he treats them is not any different from the way he treats you.
And that ached your heart that was filled with him and the desire to have him solely.
You felt bad for feeling this way, but god dammit you were selfish. Selfish you were and you didn't give a damn. You wanted Sanji for yourself, but you can't have him because he was unknowingly hurting you with the way he's showcasing his affection towards these beautiful women.
You wanted to hate him but you loved him dammit... you'd hate yourself before you hate him.
Sanji took notice of your distance, the cool breeze that radiated off of you as you walked by him caused the hairs on his neck to stand up straight with a sense of vibration in his spine. He could've sworn the room's temperature dropped when you walk in, but it was only he who could feel it.
He wasn't sure where all that came from, the moment he laid his eyes on you, he saw you like you were a star walking amongst man. He was taken aback by the way you showcase and present yourself in front of him and how beautiful you were.
He thought he did everything that you loved, especially after hearingârather eavesdroppingâthe conversation you'd have with the female crew and how much you gush over him to the two female crew. Neither Nami nor Robin could see what you see in him, but they both remain giving you support and valid pieces of advice.
So why would you switch up on him like that?
He also noticed that he'd get a disgruntled response from Nami whenever he served her anything she liked in contrast to her elated reaction, catching him off guard with the negative reaction.
"What the hell is going on?" He once thought to himself, looking down at the kitchen counter in confusion after wiping it, thinking he was alone.
"I never would have thought that you would have a lack of self-awareness, Sanji."
Sanji jumped in his place before turning around to see the source of the voice, only to see Robin standing by the door frame with her arms crossed and a disapproving facial expression plastered onto her sharp-featured face.
However, Sanji being Sanji overlooked that and began his antics before Robin used her devil fruit power to stop him from getting closer to her. He was put back into place as she simply shook her head before walking into the kitchen.
"What was that all about, Robin? That really hurts" Sanji rubbed his shoulders to soothe the restraints Robin gave.
"You're one to talk about being hurt..." Robin scoffed as she walked up the cupboard as if she was looking for something, her usually quiet demeanor was present but it contained an uneasy presence that even Sanji sensed as he eyed her figure walking around. Sanji cocked his head to the side in a baffled manner as he looked away for a little bit.
"What? What are you talking about?" He asked.
"I suggest you go talk to (y/n). She'll probably tell you why everyone's cold towards you... if you so much loved her as you claim to do." Robin calmly griped before walking away, leaving Sanji alone to try to discern Robin's cryptic wording. Sanji sat with himself for minutes, pondering the words Robin had told him. Her words echoed in his head as he deciphered the words.
Until it clicked...
Robin's disapproving confrontations, Nami's cold and irritated responses, and more evidently, your avoidance of him; It was all connecting now. Although he still doesn't understand what he did wrong, he'll have to confront one of you, you being the top priority as he sensed that you were the one who's hurt the most...
â
The night rolled around and the ruckus of Luffy, Ussop, and Chopper's antics died down, the sounds of the calm sea soared higher underneath the Thousand Sunny, peacefully rocking the ship. Despite the serenity of the boat, it caused everyone to sleep except for Sanji, with his thoughts blasting through his head in contrast to the sounds of light breathing and snores from the crew.
After staring at the ceiling long enough, Sanji left the cabin to grab a smoke to ease himself off. As he came out to the balcony, he spotted you in the distance, your upper body leaning towards the railing, allowing the wind to brush your hair back slightly. Although you gave him your back, he still admired you from afar. The allure you've given your off was a sight to behold, Sanji just couldn't help to admire you a tad bit more than othersâor so he thought.
Sanji walked up to you, you knew there was a non-threatening presence eyeing you, but you didn't know nor care to turn around to see who was it, until he spoke.
"Beautiful night, am I right?" Sanji softly said as he stood next to you mimicking your stance. You turned to him wide-eyed with an open mouth, before you went back, not answering him back. Although you were upset with him, you oddly felt comforted by his presence... Could've been worse but you wished he wasn't next to you right now.
Sanji began lighting a cigarette, smoking a few puffs before looking back at you, noticing the somber gaze you had in your eyes. He offered you the lit cigarette in his handâa norm between the two of you that you shared a cigarette stickâbut you once again ignored him, a silence rejection that pained the blonde figure.
"Okay, what's going on?" Sanji blurted, throwing his cigarette away with his eyes narrowed towards you.
Your brows knitted at the confrontation, "What?"
"For the longest time, you've been avoiding me, giving me the cold shoulder, not hanging out with me... What's up?" Sanji expressed as he crossed his arms while facing you fully. You simply scoffed at him with an eye roll and a headshake, which pissed Sanji off.
"Don't give me that eye-roll, I deserve to know what's going on and what I did to deserve this." Sanji chastised. It was unnatural for Sanji to get this upset, but when the person he had been admiring for so long was being cold around him, he couldn't help but feel frustrated.
"Oh, so now you wanna know what's going on?" You sneered at him as you eyed his disapproving face. He wavered his angered expression to a frustrating confusion with his brows wrinkling to a scowl.
"What are you on about? I just wanted to knowâ"
"Just forget it, Sanji, like you would get itâ" You shook your head as you almost walked away until Sanji grabbed your arms and held you closer in place.
"I won't let you go until you tell me what's wrong..." Sanji whispered as he looked at your sunken eyes. You wanted to physically fight him to let you go, but the way he was holding you almost put you in a semi-tranced state, and you just couldn't. You began shaking your head as you began tearing up, hoping that he could just let you go right there when it did way worse than what you wanted.
"Hey, hey, (y/n), my love, what's wrongâ"
"Don't call me that!" You sobbed as you sunk your head further and gripped onto his arms, fingernails digging into his skin in hopes of letting you go, but in fact, it was futile. No matter what you did, Sanji kept to his promise; he won't let you go until you tell him... If only he kept himself in other ways.
Sanji just looked at you even more confused, "why not?"
You shook your head once again, hushing out your confession, "I'm not your love... You don't love me..."
"What do you mean? Of course, I love you."
"No, Sanji! You don't love me the way I do!" You shot at him, making eye contact with him.
As soon as those words hit and he had a look at your tear-stricken eyes, that was when Sanji's brain found its final puzzle piece on why the way you were. He replayed back how he would treat the women surrounding him and how it might have impacted him. He thought it was just his usual chivalry act, and you must've taken it the wrong way.
"Yes, yes, I do, (y/n), I've loved you the moment I've met you," Sanji confessed, and you once again shook his head.
"You probably said that to Nami, or Robin, or any girl you meet..."
"That's not true, (y/n), you're nothing like them," Sanji held your face with one hand, stroking your tear-stained face with his thumb, "you're way more special to me than any woman I've encountered.
"You sure have a way of showcasing itâ" you scoffed until your words were cut by a warm pair of lips placed onto yours. Your eyes widened as your body stiffened at the contact, you almost gave in until Sanji pulled himself away from you, almost sensing that you were surprised by his action.
"I know I haven't been the best at treating you the way you deserve, and I am so sorry for hurting you and not telling you how much you mean to me, my love," Sanji's eyes and words were genuine and filled with real adoration, his traditional heart eyes were replaced with a glowing halo that meant something way deeper than those hearts he would showcase any women. He held both your hands as he kissed your knuckles, with your lips slightly parted, words were trying to spill but failed.
"You might not believe me now, but give me a chance to show you how much I loveâno, I adore you... I'll give you something no woman has ever taken from, I promise you..."
His words may border into desperation, but you couldn't help but be convinced by his wordings and sweet talks as you gave him a small smile and hushed an approval before Sanji dragged you and took you into the kitchen.
â
It was some time passed since Sanji's confession. You weren't sure how long it had been since you last talked to him, but you simply didn't care as your clothes and Sanji's blouse were discarded somewhere in the kitchen, with him placing himself in between your legs, his hot tongue spreading around your wet folds as you lay across the dining table, moaning out in pleasure. His hair was disheveled with the way you gripped his hair, pushing his face further as if that motion could make his tongue get in deeper.
Sanji moans at the way you are gripping his hair as well as how tasty you are to him. The nectar seeping out of your flower was so ravishing, that he felt like he could turn himself into a bee hoping for more honey.
"Gosh, darling, you taste so divine," Sanji spoke through his licks, looking up at you like you were a goddess. He soon inserts his slender fingers into you while his tongue tackles your clit, resulting in you whimpering out for him. His fingers scissor your walls as he stretches you out with his fingers like he's preparing you for more.
"Mmm~ Sanji..." You mewled.
"Shh, shh, you don't want them to wake up now, do you?" Sanji cooed with a smirk, while his fingers were still pumping in and out of you, "unless you want them to walk in and see you with your legs spread out for me, huh?"
You moaned lightly at the thought of any of the crew walking in and seeing you like this, legs spread out for the cook, eating you out for breakfast, lunch and dinner, something only he can have. Sanji took note at the excitement you were having, which caused him to smile as he got up from his knees.
"C'mere" Sanji exhaled before he fervently placed his lips back into yours, his tongue caressing into yours, making you taste yourself in the process. The hand that was on your thigh to keep you from closing around him ascended up to your neck, wrapping around it lightly.
"Have you tasted yourself?" He rhetorically inquired through the kiss, licking your bottom lips while you continued spilling your pleasured noises.
"Mhm, I know you like it," Sanji amorously giggled, "You tasted so fucking good."
Your eyes were still screwed shut as you felt yourself getting closer to the peak with Sanji's talented fingers. Just like in cooking, he truly knew how to use his fingers to hit the spot, and Sanji knew when it was ready to serve, which was certainly not now. Sanji releases his fingers out of your tight hole, making you whine out which made Sanji purr.
"I know, my love, I know," Sanji pouted as he held your face and squished your cheeks, "but baby deserves more than what she got, and I'm about give it right now."
As Sanji was speaking, he began lowering his already-unbuttoned pants, along with his boxers, releasing his ravenous cock with precum leaking out its dark pink head. You took a peek down at his cock, and your mouth started to drool at the sight, which Sanji smirked at your ogling.
"You want this, don't you?" Sanji smiled sweetly as he placed a strand behind your ear and you began to hold and lightly stroke it, He hissed at the contact while you were entranced by Sanji's parts. Sanji held your wrist and halted motions.
"As much as I want this, lemme take care of you..."
His actions may be fervid and lusting, but the words he let out were filled with fondness and adoration. He laid you down while he teased your leaking pussy, the head just eager to insert it.
"Sanji, please, just put it in~" You begged, and with that, you got an immediate response with Sanji stretching you out, making you mewl out as you threw your head back with a back arch. Sanji ran his lithe fingertips from your collarbone down to your breasts and began massaging the squish plush of your chest as you adjusted to his length.
You two were having a surreal moment, a moment that neither of you, especially you, could have expected to happen. A moment in which you have thought of before going to bed, touching yourself after hours at the thought of Sanji in that similar position that you're in. All the harsh and intrusive thoughts that you felt towards him with the way he treated women melted away as Sanji began moving at a slow pace.
The thrusts left you moaning out as Sanji hushes out strings of praises that left you wetter and wetter.
"Gosh, (y/n), you feel so good..."
"Such a good girl, such a good fucking girl..."
Sanji's thrusts began to become feverish as time goes, the sounds of skin slapping and blissed moans coming from both your and Sanji's lips bounce off the kitchen walls as the wooden table creates slight creaking sounds underneath your bodies, following his rhythm,
"I'm so closeâfuck~ you're not that far off either, huh, my love?" Sanji's voice begins to crack as he feels himself about to implode and his thrusts begin to slop away. You were panting and whining mess underneath, struggling to form words in response so you simply just nod.
"Come with me, my love, c'mon," Sanji whimpered softly as he began to hold your hand and his lips attached itself into your neck, giving you the love you ever so deserve.
The volcano in your stomach is about to erupt due to the sheer force of Sanji's hips aided in his cock reaching over to your cervix, giving it multiple kisses at a time. But no amount of thrusts and penetration could have ever given that blissful end until Sanji whimpered out the sweetest sounds with him saying,
"Let me see you come for me..."
And there he has pushed you into that euphoric state as you rolled your eyes back, making you see white. Sanji groaned out as he spilled his all inside of you, leaving the two of you breathless in the process. Sanji landed on top of you, his head on your shoulder as he catches his breath, while you began stroking the back of his head.
Once you gathered your breathes, Sanji lifted himself slightly and pulled himself away to look at the aftermath of what you two had done. Your opening began to ooze out Sanji's load and drip down to the table underneath. You lifted yourself by the elbow and looked down.
"Shit... we eat here, Sanji..." You giggled breathlessly as you lightly scolded him. Typically, Sanji would be upset over a small dust landing on any crevice of the kitchen, but when he sees you with his cum dripping out of you, christening the table, he honestly couldn't care any less.
He leans in once again and attaches his lips to yours, this time in a chaste way. The kiss was pure in contrast to the previous activity you two had, it was a kiss, however, of what's akin to an overdue longing, a longing that was desperate to be released and given by someone specific, and you two were the main target for each other.
He pulled away, his head was placed onto yours as he smiled at you breathlessly.
"Now do you believe me? Now do you believe that I'm madly in love with you?" Sanji whispered, eyes filled with adoration.
Your eyes softened and gleamed as it matches up and mirrored his exact emotions.
"I do... I absolutely do..."
â
Bonus ending:
It was the next day, and Sanji was seen rushed to the kitchen to cook up something for the crew. He woke up slightly later than usual, which Robin and Nami took notice of as they had woken up before the rest of the crew, sitting on the sunbeds by the deck. Sanji greeted them hastilyâuncharacteristic of himâwith a quick smile and wave as he walked into the kitchen and instantly got into cooking, meanwhile, you showed up moments later...
They took notice of your odd walking, there was a slight wobble to it, seeming as though you were attempting to hide it. Robin and Nami just smirked at each other before looking back at you as you walked up to them.
"Hey, girls!" you beamed as you sat on the empty sunbed next to Robin.
"You seem to be in a lively mood," Robin acknowledged as she looked at the book she was reading, meanwhile Nami lightly chuckled, "Yeah, it's been a minute since I've seen you this cheery," she added.
You simply shrugged and opened your mouth to respond, only for Sanji to come in with drinks at hand.
"While breakfast is getting prepared, I've got you beautiful ladies your drinks," Sanji announced with the tray, beginning to distribute the drinks, and when he got to you, leaned down as he whispered to you "and I made this extra special just for you." He winked as he handed you the drink his hand grazed yours longingly, making you chuckle in timidness.
As Sanji was about to walk away, Nami and Robin respectively began commenting at earshot of his, pretending to be chatting with you.
"I see you and Sanji have made up..."
"Yeah, could've fooled me with that afterglow."
It was like it was purposeful, with Sanji stumbling on his steps and you choking on your drinks, making you cough and Sanji turn red as he ran to the kitchen.
"Robin! How could you?! You made poor (y/n) choke!" Nami feigned offense with a laugh and a slight nudge toward Robin as the dark-haired girl just simply chuckled.
You simply just shook your head as you rolled your eyes with a smile, "I hate you two..."
Your response made the two girls laugh.

Ginkgo leaves
⧠jing yuan x gn!reader
⧠based on the ask: Since reqs are open, you think you could write jing yuans reaction to his lover being Mara-struck? Thank you! - requested by anonymous
⧠contents: established relationship, angst, hurt/almost no comfort lmfao, implied character death, mentions of other characters, pov mostly written in jing yuan's pov, still usage of 2nd pov (referring the reader as you), mayhaps ooc because jing yuan is an emotional wreck.
⧠a/n: when i tell ya'll i legit struggled to be able to write this entire thing. there's been like 3-4 scrapped drafts because halfway through writing i would just NOT be satisfied with the result. to the anon who requested this, i'm so sorry it took this long - but i hope the upcoming trainwreck makes up for it! a trainwreck im still not actually satisfied with LMFAO. but it's better than the other 5 scrapped works. also not beta-read so fellas if u see a spelling error - no you didn't.
p.s: some mara-struck information i give here are totally fanmade for the purpose of this fic alone, as such don't take whatever i write about mara here as what actually happens canonically to characters (then again most of the playable characters have different symptoms of mara themselves).
"Benefactor, am I correct to believe you're asking me if the general has any specific interests?" Tingyun asks with a snicker, the trailblazer looking away from her prying eyes while mumbling a quiet yes.
"Some of the younger... Can I call them younger? Anyway, some of the younger Xianzhou citizens are very infatuated with the general. Seeing as I've been announced as his honory guest, they do often come and ask me various things to try and gain his favor. So yeah, anything at this point will work - so please!" the trailblazer hurriedly explained, clasping their hands together in a desperate attempt to get anything from the foxian amicassador leaning back with a quirked eyebrow.
"Ahh, love truly makes someone go blind doesn't it," she muses out loud, the trailblazers' eyebrow furrowing together in confusion over the foxian's lady choice of words, "... You're not entirerely wrong with that statement..."
"Do you want to know what his favorite flower is?" Tingyun asks, ignoring the confused question that had been uttered to her, snapping her fan open to hide the cheeky smile that spread across her lips - but anyone could still tell that her eyes were gleaming with mischief as the trailblazer nodded their head.
"He doesn't have one."
"Then why did you even-"
"But he likes ginkgo leaves."
The trailblazers' eyes widened in shock, and rightfully so because the very thing ginkgo leaves are associated with are after all...
"He had a lover once, and as far as I'm aware, his last moment with them while they still had their consciousness intact was surrounded by ginkgo leaves."
Jing Yuan whilst having forgotten almost every single moment with you, does unfortunately remember the exact details of the day that your descent into madness started. Because what he witnessed wasn't a futile struggle you had with yourself to not to destroy everything within your vicinity. Instead, he witnessed the slow process of your bright self becoming an empty shell, only capable of uttering a few words.
It's comical really, even when faced with a curse that struck everyone mad - he found out that it oddly fit your character to not go mad, but instead become the complete opposite of your gentle self. A hollow shell of the person he fell in love with all centuries ago.
Jing Yuan knew he had to end your suffering right then and there when you first started to show signs.
But he couldn't - This wasn't something that had to be immediately dealt with, his hand wasn't forced like it was back when he had to slay his own master down before she took more lives.
No, this was a normal afternoon on what would've been another normal, mundane day in both of your lives. But everything went wrong the moment Jing Yuan heard the breaking of glass, and how there was a lone gingko leaf inside the palm of your hand - a ginkgo leaf that you were staring wide-eyed at with a trembling hand.
You were too far from the veranda to have a ginkgo leaf in your hand.
General Jing Yuan would've ended your suffering the moment you turned around to lock eyes with him, your own face twisted into one of utter fear.
General Jing Yuan would've reported you the to Ten-Lords Commissions as the law had stated. But Jing Yuan couldn't - because Jing Yuan knew that the moment he did, he would never see you again.
So he decided for once he would be selfish. Jing Yuan rarely made choices lately that was based off of his own feelings, but his time with you was cut too harshly, so once again he chooses to be selfish. Even if that meant that it would prolong your suffering just a tiny bit more. "... We can figure something out," was the only thing he could muster up the courage to say with a shaking voice. You didn't say anything, your mouth wobbling a tiny bit and your breathing getting harsher by the second.
But still you indulged him - you always did. So with an equally wobbly smile, you only nodded your head slightly, "... Sure."
That wobbly smile and expression of utter fear was the last genuine expression that truly came from yourself.
The descent to becoming fully mara-struck is usually a fast process, the curse able to completely overtake someone's mind within the same day the symptoms appears - rendering the person completely vulnerable with the only alternative to either hand themselves in to the Ten-Lords or wait for the Ten-Lords to come to them personally.
Your usual easy-going smile was gone, in its stead was eyes that kept going in and out of focus. Almost as if you were desperately trying to keep yourself grounded - a battle you both knew would end with your defeat.
Jing Yuan didn't dare to venture outside of the house. One step out and every Cloud Knight would've been on you within seconds to subdue you. He had first initially resorted to just holding you within his arms for as long as he could, to be able to remember how you felt like after your death.
But with the minimal strength you had left, you had wobbled to the garden, every step taken only making you pant heavily. But even with heavy breaths of air leaving your lips, you had refused to take Jing Yuans hand or offer to even carry you out to the garden. When you had managed to reach the ginkgo tree standing tall at the center of the garden, Jing Yuan was sure you were going to collapse in front of it, taking a quick step to catch you.
But instead you had merely reached your hands up, the falling leaves fluttering gently down onto your palms. And while you were in indescriable pain for the last couple of hours - Jing Yuan could only see a serene expression when you looked up at the ginkgo leaves that were continously falling down.
"... They're beautiful... aren't they... Jing Yuan? It's almost a pity... that these beautiful... leaves are associated with our doom," you said softly. Jing Yuan could feel his breath hitch in his throat when you uttered his name.
You're obviously struggling to convey whatever thoughts you still had to him properly, taking a moment in between words to catch your breath, eyebrows furrowed slightly as you fought against the searing pain that was spreading through every nerve in your body.
There's a sudden gust of wind which causes the pile of leaves in your hands to flutter away from your grasp. Your hand stretches out slightly, almost in an attempt to reach out for them - stumbling a bit in your step. The limp causes Jing Yuan to take a quick step forward with his arms outstretched. Perhaps seeing him in your peripheral vision causes you to stop the futile attempt to catch the escaping leaves, arms going limp against your side as you turn to face him - your once blank expression turning into a somber smile instead.
Jing Yuan thinks that it's unfair how normal you look in front of him - almost as if you haven't been becme mara-struck. Like nothing has happened to you aside from the ginkgo leaves fluttering from your lips whenever you cough. The same cough that causes the general of Luofu to flinch every time - without fail.
And perhaps you can see his inner turmoil, the way he tries to make eye contact with you, but is unable to after a few seconds. The way his hands clench too hard into fist to the point droplets of blood fall down to the grass and stains it a deep red while he bites his own lips to not say a word - lest he says something that he will regret.
And you truly wish that you could tell him everything is okay like you usually do.
But for the first time since the day he lost his friends, you can't.
"... I'm sorry," you finally say, the apology making him whip his head up to you again. Mouth opening to say something to comfort you, to tell you that it's not your fault. But the words are unable to leave his mouth when he sees your arms slightly outstretched towards him with a small smile.
And he can't hold it in anymore.
It only takes him a few wide steps to reach you from his position before he cradles you within his arms. The grip is tight, unbearably tight to the point it hurts, but you don't complain. You're limp in his hold, and if this was any day he wouldn't comment, but the fact that you're not moving a single muscle terrifies Jing Yuan to the core. "... Please," he finally manages to whisper, the rustling of ginkgo leaves around you almost drowning out his quiet plea.
"Please don't make me do this again."
He doesn't ask if the tensing of your body is caused by the pain that's rapidly increasing or if it's caused by his silent confession. He can however feel the gentle hand that rests against the lower part of his back and your head resting against the side of his own. The reassurance you try to give him does nothing to help because he's aware that it probably brought you unmeasurable pain to try to move those limbs - instead the general buries his face closer to your neck and squeezes you tighter.
"... You won't." you whisper quietly.
It takes a moment for Jing Yuan to process the meaning behind those two words.
But it's a moment too late, because before he can get his phone out to usher a command, a few resounding knocks can be heard throughout the quiet mansion.
"General Jing Yuan. This is Xueyi of the Ten-Lords commission. I've gotten information that there's currently a mara-struck within these premises."
Jing Yuan feels his blood run cold, he pulls himself away from you to stare at you properly in disbelief.
You're still staring at him with the same somber expression, however he can tell there's a small pitiful smile grazing your lips, "I'm sorry," you whisper once again.
"I asked her... personally," you start, finally letting yourself rest now that the end is near, slumping down onto Jing Yuan's chest, your ear settling itself against his heart to hear his rapid heartbeats.
Jing Yuan loathes the fact that it's at this moment, with the Ten-Lords commission outside of your door and with him completely broken do you actually look at peace - like your battle against time has finally come to its conclusion.
And naturally, the one who lost is you.
"Half a day... with you. Then she would come and bring me there. You won't have to... do this again."
You're not able to see Jing Yuan's face - and Jing Yuan wouldn't want you to see how he looked like right now. The arms around you is trembling, his mind is racing - trying to come up with anything to give him a bit more time with you.
But for once, the general that had a plan for every situation had nothing in mind.
He's lost. And the prize of the loss this time is losing you forever.
"General, I apologize for the rudeness of what I'm about to do, but this is for both of your safety," Jing Yuan hear Xueyi mutter from outside of the door, before he hears the rattling of the door frame start to slide open.
"Wait- no," it's a quiet request that gets ignored as Xueyi strides in alone, the lack of company making Jing Yuan's eyebrows furrow in confusion.
"... Their last request along with the request for my late arrival here was for the Cloud Knights to not see you like this. Naturally I won't tell anyone of what I've seen today."
Jing Yuan doesn't care about that, he could care less about his image right now, pulling you closer to him while his eyes are downcast - he makes no move to hand you over to the judge.
The puppet judge before him does not say anything - nor does she make a move. What she does however is wait, wait for the general before her that has been utterly crushed and broken by the person in his arms start to accept the harsh truth once again.
If he doesn't handle the mara-struck himself, someone else would - but the end result only serves to punish him in the end, the one left behind.
Xueyi hears a silent breath be let out by the general, her once closed eyes opening up to see the general pull slightly away from you, one hand reaching up to cradle your cheek. Your eyes have long since closed, and you're most likely not even conscious to hear what he's about to say.
"My dear... I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you. But I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit longer before we can meet again," he whispers, bumping his forehead against your own gently, "I hope you won't fault me for that."
A long ginkgo leaf flutters right between the two of you, eventually settling down on your chest.
Jing Yuan sucks in one last deep breath, "I'm sorry I kept you here for so long - I'm sorry you had to be in pain for so long because of me," he leans in to slot his lips one last time over your own, whispering something that Xueyi can't hear before he rises up, your body limp in his arms.
"Thank you for your service Miss Xueyi, please see them off appropiately." Jing Yuan says, voice sounding eerily calm - almost like his usual self.
When he turns around to finally face her, the puppet's lifeless eyes seem to grow a bit in surprise. Before her is the general of Luofu, his usual easy-going smile present on his lips.
Like he wasn't carrying his mara-struck lover in his arms.
"As much as I would want to accompany you to see them off, I'm afraid I have some urgent matters to attend to," he informs, handing your body over to Xueyi - she doesn't comment on how his hands are still slightly trembling or how he immediately turned a bit to the side to ignore staring at her head-on.
Even though Xueyi doesn't want to ask, she still asks either way, "What are your plans from here on, general?"
Jing Yuan only gives her a close eyed smile, turning his gaze towards the large ginkgo tree with his hands behind his back. He gnaws a tiny bit at his lips, finally breathing out.
A couple of seconds passes by before he opens his mouth.
"I think I'll meditate a bit under this tree before heading back to the Seat. I can't leave Luofu without me for too long after all."
5 SCRAPPED WORKS AND I'M STILL NOT ACTUALLY THAT SATISFIED BUT IF I KEEP THIS PIECE LONGER IN THE WORKS THE MORE I'LL BUTCHER IT SO HAHA - THIS IS THE BEST WE CAN DO AFTER 3 MONTHS OF CONSTANT BACK AND FORTH FELLAS. I HOPE IT SQUEEZED YOUR HEART A TINY BIT NONETHELESS.

hi, could you mayhaps, possibly, do a vox x sick reader? Genderneatral or fem is fine! Like- how would he take care of the reader and what not? Feel free to not do this request, please remember to take breaks and drink water! ^^
A/N: After watching the first four episodes, I have a growing love for Vox, but Iâll always be team Alastor. Regardless, I love this idea with him. I donât write for Vox often so I hope this was okay!!
Warnings: mentions of death, violence and drugs
Navigation!! // Masterlist!!
Sickness and Health
Vox is a very caring lover. That being said, he also hates dealing with you when youâre sick. Donât get him wrong, of course he wants you to get better. But managing the other Vâs and also having to control the cityâs technology and news segments, heâs a bit stressed
Regardless, he makes sure youâre taken care of before he runs off to do his errands
He has the best nurses hell can offer, gives them strict orders to not leave your side and to give you whatever you want
Heâll check in a lot, despite saying he had âfree timeâ to check up on you
âSo you have free time every thirty minutes.â
âPft, it hasnât been thirty minutes.â
Heâll interrupt your scrolling through whatever social media app youâre on just to talk to you
âCan you fucking believe Val? Piece of shit, trying to ruin our image for one of his whores.â Vox complains, and you just snicker, nose stuffy.
âWell he is your colleague, shouldnât you have more control over that?â You tease. Vox rolls his eyes and side eyes you from his chair.
âYouâre lucky youâre sick or I wouldâve given you a shitty reply.â He scoffs, and you just snicker before hanging up.
When he comes back from work heâll have the staff stand while he asks you how each of them did throughout the day, and if one fails to meet his expectations, or you had to wait a little too long to get some tea you wanted, theyâre getting shot right then and there
âI canât keep them around if they donât do well enough doll.â Vox explains if you ever get upset with him for it. He never kills off a staff member you like, like your personal nurse, Barbra. Sheâs so sweet and you always have nothing but good things to say about her, so sheâs the longest nurse youâve ever had.
If he ever feels like youâre too sick to be treated by your regular staff, he calls the best of the best doctors and sits with you all day while they examine and test you. Like if you get a really bad fever, and it just is too out of control.
Vox will never to go Val for medication for you. Val is extremely jealous of you, and Vox doesnât trust him to not give you the wrong drug on purpose.
âI could always help them feel better you know~â Val would say if he ever heard Vox stressed about your health
âYeah fucking right.â Vox would say back. Val would just scoff and throw his glass at a wall.
âIâll kill their whole god damn family!â
Itâs safe to say you keep your distance from ValâŚ

i saw your hook & morgie posts and i come asking for some suggestive queen of hearts hcs mayhapsâŚ.
đšThe Queen of Hearts x Reader Suggestive Headcanonsđš
Reader pronouns: unspecified
Pairing: The Queen of Hearts x GN! servant!reader
Plot: Just some more suggestive headcanons because you guys are freaky đŤś
Extra: I was waiting for someone to request this. Listening to Short n Sweet while writing thisđ sorry if this is short, Short n Sweet yk? đĽ°
- You're her personal servant so you end up being around her a lot
- She of course very very controlling
- She prefers blind obedience but playful disobedience will lead to insane teasing
- "If you listen to me I might give you what you want."
- You can try and top her.
- ^ it won't work but you can certainly try. She will probably mock you for any failed attempts.
- When getting intimate she usually starts slow and teasing. Dragging her fingers over you before getting more aggressive
- Oh my god she just mocks you all the time. Any words of praise she says are pure mockery
- You should worship her, really. She is a Queen and definitely believes she deserves it.
- Whether you're easily flustered or hard to fluster, she will do anything and everything to fluster you and then act like she didn't even do anything.
- She says you're only allowed to touch her as a reward so you should probably just listen to whatever she tells you
- She obviously loves being in control and she always is, but she occasionally lets you take the lead. She'll always tell you exactly what you're doing wrong and how to do it better
- She's definitely not big on public anything, your relationship probably started off as a secret and stayed as a secret for awhile
- She really loves embarrassing you. Humiliation is one of her specialties
- Always grabbing your face and forcing her to look at you
- She acts like she's not but she's actually so obsessed with you and almost always thinking of you
- Your relationship mostly started off as sensual but she started growing real feelings for you that she just tried to push away
- Fuzzy pink handcuffs
- Absolutely possessive of you
- She kind of acts like she only cares about herself in bed but she subtly makes sure that you're always comfortable and not doing anything you wouldn't like
- She made the first move
- Definitely dropped hints before you guys started to be intimate
- She can tie a cherry stem in a knot if you know what I mean
- Jealous type. She's definitely more aggressive/commanding if she's jealous
- Applies her deep red lipstick just to kiss you and leave lipstick marks on you
- Whether itâs on purpose or not she ends up messing with your feelings and you really have no idea if she actually loves you or if itâs just casual
- You two never talk about your feelings
- Eventually (after a long time) you two start to actually become more romantic rather than sensual
- You adore her and she adores you but obviously she has some emotional issues and is still very closed off
- You help her sort her emotions but it takes a very long time

Hi!! Hope everything is going well!
Could I Please ask for some bottom buggy (mayhaps with some watersports since I saw you had a interest) or some ftm crocodile being fucked into submission!
Have a nice day.
Ftm Sir Crocodile x male reader
Ficlet
I love Sir Crocodile so much đŁď¸ đŁď¸
Reader is part of Buggyâs crew, cuz I thought that would be hilarious. Reader doesnât have a devil fruit, but is still super kickass. Hes kind of the information gatherer, smuggler, etc, for the Buggy crew. Reader is also normal human height.
Mixed terminology for Crocs bits. Also, breeding/pregnancy? kink warning ig. but its just mentioned for the fantasy.
The Cross Guild appeared great for any outsider or lesser in the know members, which was most of them. They all saw your captain as someone great and almost godly, thinking he was so much more than he was, but you had been with him for many years, even before the Buggy pirates had even been created. Shortly after the execution of Rogers, Buggy had stumbled into your path and had accidentally saved your life, and from then on you had been by his side.
Most people thought of you as something akin to an accountant or treasurer, wearing an outfit that looked very much like that of a ringmaster, long red tailcoat and top hat and all. You were always one of the first to run away, giving you a reputation of a coward who couldnât fight.
The only one who truly knew how much of a threat you could be, would be your captain and his inner circle, which you were also part of. You might not have been the strongest physically compared to someone like Mihawk, but no one could gather information like you could, smuggle like you could, or have someone âdisappearâ like you could. Your network was so extensive that even the one they called Joker, who you knew was none other than Donquixote Doflamingo, was jealous.
That was why you knew everything about Sir Crocodile and Mihawk before the day was over when the Cross Guild was formed. You cowered off to the side, keeping up your weak act as you flinched at their raised voices or the light reflecting off Crocodiles golden claw.
They believed you a weak fool whoâs only worth was your quick mind and ability to calculate numbers quicker than most computers, which resulted in them mostly dismissing you. It was a role you basked in and felt comfortable, using it to keep your true identity under wraps. That was until they pushed your captain too far, as Crocodile especially seemed to take great pleasure in antagonizing and hurting your captain.
You were protective, most pirates were, if they felt any sense of loyalty to their captain. It was because of that, that you dug up a trusted contact, a celestial dragon with greater access to seastone than anyone else you knew. Using measurements from the momentâs clothes had to be made, a pair of cuffs in just the perfect size soon arrived to you with the post.
It was easy to press Crocodiles buttons, to get him worked up by acting stupid and pathetic, just the way you knew made his blood boil. It was even easier to enrage him so far that he chased after you, so blinded by his anger that he didnât even notice how you kept avoiding his sand, or how you were leading him further and further away from the rest of the guild.
When he finally caught up, Crocodile caged you against the wall, hook digging into the drywall as he almost snarled down at you, cigar crunched between his teeth as his purple eyes blazed. But mild confusion crossed his face as your fearful expression dropped, his body straightening as your eyes met his head on. Before Crocodile could order an explanation, a feeling of weakness crashed through his body, making his knees buckle enough that you had to catch him, supporting his towering weight and bulk.
His vision swam as you started dragging him along, his feet dragging along the floor because of his height compared to your own. Crocodile felt dizzy and mildly nauseous, his eyes finally catching the heavy bands around his wrist, the one he still had left. âssseastone?â he slurred out, voice lighter than the growl you were used too, cigar long forgotten somewhere along the journey.
In the beginning, you had planned on torturing him, the blades strapped to your person burning at the thought, but as you threw him down almost carelessly on a barely clad bed, a different through passed through your mind.
A slight thrill ran down your spine as his purple eyes burnt into you, his usual anger still present, but mixed with something else, something deeper and hungrier. Soft pants left Crocodiles lips, sounding faintly struggled as the seastone drained the power from his body, leaving him limp and pliant.
You could see the heat rising to Crocodiles cheekbones as you started stripping off your usual getup, tailcoat slid off your shoulders and neatly folded, top hat placed down with care. âWhat the hell are you doingâŚâ Crocodile rasped from the bed, his pupils blown as an unfamiliar need unfolded inside him, the familiar thrum of pleasure running through body.
Maybe it was his weakened state, but he swore his cunt was pulsing with need, especially as you unbuttoned the stark white shirt you always wore, revealing a tightly muscled and heavily scarred body underneath, leather straps adorned with vials and weapons stretched across your torso.
Crocodile tried to shuffle his legs, maybe to squeeze his thighs together, or to spread them further apart, he wasnât sure, but all he could do was a minimal twitch and jolt. âI planned on cutting you up, making you beg for mercy. But from the looks of it⌠you wouldnât mind some other kind of disciplineâ you murmur, almost stalking towards him where Crocodile was splayed out on top of the white sheets.
You could see all his muscles tense as you let your hands climb up his legs, up his thighs and stomach, traveling all the way up his arms towards his hook. A choked off noise leaves Crocodile as you remove his hook with ease, like you had done it a thousand times before, placing it off to the side with care.
âBehave yourselfâ you tell him, squeezing the sides of his jaw to make his lips part. Crocodile tried to growl or snap a threat, to snap his teeth at you or somehow fight back, but his body was mostly unresponsive, his tongue feeling thick and useless in his mouth.
A shiver of anticipation ran through Crocodile as you moved again, settling between his thick spread thighs. Your eyes met as you reach for his belt, your brow lifting as if asking if he wanted you to stop. You may be a pirate, but you had class and manners, at least when it came to stuff like this.
But when all Crocodile responded with was a sour expression and glare, you make easy work of his belt and slacks, tugging them down his hips and legs, throwing them off to the side with little care. Your disregard for his clothes made Crocodile grumble, but the noise was quickly silenced as you pressed your entire hand against his slick underwear, fingers teasing his hard t-cock and soaked folds.
âTsk tsk, look at you, bet you just need someone to put you in your place, is that it?â you mumble in an almost mocking tone, looking up at him with an almost feral hunger in your eyes. Crocodile chokes on the words that want to form in his throat, some kind of rebuttal perhaps, that he would never want someone as low as you to do anything to him, but as you pinch his cock between your fingers, it morphs into a shaky moan.
Crocodileâs boxers as easily pulled off, thrown to the floor with a damp plap, making his face redden further as you only find amusement in the obvious sign of his arousal. Kicking off your pants and boxers, you crawl up the bed and sit between his thick thighs, pushing them further apart to expose where he only grows slicker, hole clenching around nothing as if begging you to fill it.
âWhat would they say, seeing the great Sir Crocodile, spread out like this, ready to take the cock of a feeble weak treasurerâ you taunt, pressing your hips closer to his, so that you could drag the tip of your cock up and down through his folds. The act has Crocodile arching as good as he can with the cuff on, his eyes squeezing shut as he clenches his jaw, a breathy noise leaving him, folds only growing slicker around you.
Maybe it was your size difference, with you being average human size, compared to Crocodiles almost 9 feet, or maybe it was his gut deep arousal, but his hole didnât need much prep for you to be able to fit inside.
That didnât mean you were just gonna give it to him, since this was supposed to be a lesson. A stuttery moan spills almost silently from Crocodiles lips as your fingers rub through his folds, barely pressing against where he wants you the most. He had never imagined himself in a situation like this, splayed out and dripping for you, someone he had always just seen as a nuisance, but here he was.
âCome on Crocodile⌠ask nicelyâ your tone is almost cruel as you push only two fingers inside him, barely felt because of his size, but just enough to rub against his wet gummy insides and leave him aching for more. Crocodiles jaw clenches, barring his teeth as his head weakly rolls to the side, as if to hide his face into the sheets.
âOr⌠I could just leave you here, thighs spread open, cunt glistening with want. Im sure someone will pass by, and who wouldnât want a chance to fill thisâ as if to exaggerate your point, you push two more fingers into his slick hole, burying them as deep as possible into Crocodiles wet insides, punching a gasp out of him.
Crocodile seems to debate it, if he wants to put his pride aside for someone like you, but his thoughtprocess is knocked off course as you pinch his cock with your free hand, twisting it cruelly. Had he not been wearing the seastone cuff, his thighs would have clamped shut and a shout would have left him, but now all his body could do was tense up as a wet keen tumbled out of him.
âPâŚpleaseâ Crocodile finally mumbles, voice small and almost shy, but it can barely be heard over the wet slick sounds of your fingers thrusting in and out of him, his wetness running down your palm and wrist in the process.
âHm? you hum, the questioning tone in it clear, as if you didnât hear him at all, giving his cock another twist just because you could. âfuck me⌠pleaseâŚâ is gasped out, Crocodiles insides clenching around your slick fingers as they rub and prod around inside him.
Your fingers movements slow to a stop, silence filling the room long enough for Crocodile to peek an eye open and look down at you. Your eyes are intense as they bore into his, the predatory flare in them making Crocodiles insides quiver. âNormally id demand better than that, but Iâm starting to pity youâ you scoff out, withdrawing your fingers from his hold with a slick noise.
Instead of wiping them off on the sheets, you use the large amount of slick that had gathered in your palm to slick up your shaft, releasing a huffed exhale as Crocodiles eyes widen at the sight. âIâve thought about making you ride me, so youâll have to make yourself take it, but we canât do that right now, can weâ you eye the cuff around his one wrist, making Crocodile growl and spit out a weak warbled âfuck youâ
His insult carries no heat, clearly only for show, his glare quickly wiped off his face as you finally push inside him. Crocodile needs little time to adjust, resulting in you almost immediately setting a bruising rough pace, drawing in and out of him with loud wet slick noises, his hole gripping onto you as he gasps and moans.
Reaching down, you push his shirt up just enough to splay a hand across his lower stomach, a foxlike grin spreading across your lips as you watch his hips weakly roll into your own. âIf you werenât such an asshole, I could fuck you whenever. Imagine that Crocodile, walking around, cunt leaking my cum, as you try to play tough.â You chuckle darkly, tone thick and hungry in the way only a predatory animal could possess.
As your cock rams into that sensitive spot inside him, Crocodile is finally starting to realize you are truly more than you seem, his cunt drooling a wet puddle under him on the sheets as you take him with a new hunger, a glint appearing in your eyes as your hand presses down harder on his stomach.
âI could knock you up you know, right here.â Is hissed out as you bottom out inside Crocodile, the words making him tighten up and shiver in want. âNo one would find you so scary then, would they Crocodile. Waddling around, fat with my kidâ you purr, letting both your hands splay across his stomach. It was all fantasy, but by God did it make Crocodile wet and wanting. Something about the fantasy of you, some lesser subordinate knocking him, Sir Crocodile, up, had him seeing double.
The seastone didnât help with his woozy state, all attempts at forming words only becoming half formed and slurred, Crocodiles eyes going wet and glassy as that familiar feeling spread through his body. âin⌠inside meâŚâ Crocodile slurs as you curse to yourself, clearly close to the finish line as well. Had it not been for the cuffs, he would have thrown his legs around you, squeezing you against his body to keep you inside him, but all he could do now was beg.
Crocodiles pride crumbled as your fingers squeezed his cock one last time, a pure orgasmic expression crossing his face as he gasped and moaned, his entire body twitching weakly as he came, wetting your cock and the sheets even further as the feeling thrummed through his entire body.
With a deep groan you bottom out inside Crocodile for a last time, letting your eyes squeeze shut as you spill inside him, coating his insides in a thick coat of white. Crocodile whimpers weakly at the feeling, trying to squeeze around you as if to milk your length for more.
He slumps against the sheets further than he already is, eyes falling shut in a relaxed exhausted expression. Crocodile barely notices as you pull out, white leaking out from between his folds to join his own mess on the sheets. He barely even notices you cleaning him up, only twitching and gasping softly when you clean up between his legs.
Its only when the seastone cuff leaves his wrist that Crocodile returns to himself somewhat, as the familiar feeling of his devilfruit washes through his body again. Squinting his eyes open, he catches sight of you getting dressed again, tucking on your shirt, then your coat, and lastly placing your hat on top of your head.
Even with his devilfruit returned to him, Crocodile still feels weak and exhausted, but the good type of exhausted one only gets after a good fuck. Part of him wants to ask you to stay, to hold him and pet his hair, to maybe mumble more dirty fantasies about knocking him up, and how youâd make him live as your pretty little housewife. But instead, Crocodile just grunts to get your attention, his attempt to demand to know where you are going.
âI have to get back to the others, since ill be taking over your duties for the rest of the day and tomorrowâ you say, voice resolute and not allowing any denial or struggle. And normally Crocodile would have growled and rejected anyone taking over his duties, but for some reason, the idea of you taking care of him made him relax deeper into the bed, muscles lax and thoughts empty and calm for once.
Approaching him, you press a soft kiss to his forehead before telling him âthis room is hidden away from everyone else, so take all the time you need. Ill check up on you laterâ as you pat his cheek. After telling him where the bathroom is, where he could find towels and replacement sheets and blankets, you were on your way, leaving Crocodile on his lonesome.
It took a while, but he finally pushed himself into a seated position before getting to his feet. The feeling of your cum trickling down the insides of his thighs as the familiar heat of arousal burning inside him once more, making Crocodile shuffle towards the bathroom you had pointed him towards. Even though you had just left, he could still get himself off a few more times from just the memory alone.
Maybe it wasnât so bad to be disciplined by you, he wondered how youâd react if he caused issues with your smuggling routes. The idea sent a line of heat up his spine as he stepped into the shower, hand quickly traveling between his thighs, fingers burying themselves into his still sensitive hole, fantasies of hungry glare and cruel fingers filling his mind.

ChĂŠrie
Aegon Targaryen x Velaryon(Strong)!Reader x OC
Summary: Aegonâs wife accompanies him to the pleasure house and returns with a new lady in waiting.
18+ ONLY, MDNI Targcest, Smut, Threesome
âMight I go with you to the pleasure house?â
âI will not go this night.â Aegon assures her, âI will stay with you, my darling.â
âIâŚwish to see what it is you do there.â Y/N forces the words out.
Aegon grins, catching her chin between his thumb and forefinger. âIf we share this, we share everything. I will have nothing left, in the absence of you.â
âThen you mustnât be in my absence.â Y/N presses a kiss to his lips. âI want you all of the time.â
Aegon sighs, âspoiled thing.â
âTake me,â Y/N challenges.
âVery well.â Aegon keeps tight hold of her hand as they sneak out of the castle to the streets of silk. Weaving through the smallfolk as they carry on happily.
He looks back at his wife, taking it all in. Mayhaps you too long for a simpler life.
Y/N tucks herself against his side as they enter the pleasure house.
Aegon whispers. âThey will not bite unless you ask them too.â
Y/N huffs a laugh, âmight I have some wine?â
âOf course, darling girl. They will bring it to our room.â
âReally?â
âMhm,â Aegon nods. âAnything you want.â He pulls back the second to last curtain, revealing a woman with long dark waves. Her back to them, wearing only a purple satin robe. âChĂŠrie.â
She turns to face them, the loveliest woman Y/N has ever seen. âMy prince.â
âMight I introduce you to my darling wife-â
âPrincess,â the woman bows her head. âIt is a pleasure to meet you.â
Y/N smiles, âyou as well. I can see what keeps my husband coming back. You are very beautiful.â
ChĂŠrie cocks her head to the side, âI am sought after for our likeness. You are beautiful, your grace.â
Y/N does not believe her, âyou are very kind. Might I have a glass of your wine?â
âAs much as youâd like, Princess. Whatâs mine is yours.â ChĂŠrie moves away from the table, toward the center of the room.
Aegon watches as his wife pours herself a cup. âSheâs never fucked a woman.â
âWeâve all been there, have we not?â ChĂŠrie bumps his shoulder with her own.
âToo right you are.â
âTell me, my prince, does she taste as good as she looks?â
âBetter.â Aegon beams.
Y/N chugs down the wine, turning to ChĂŠrie. âNow what?â
âWhatever youâd like, your grace.â
Y/N beckons the other woman closer. Cupping ChĂŠrieâs face in her hands and pressing their lips together, testing the waters.
ChĂŠrie draws the princess in closer, burying her hands in dark waves, similar to her own.
âMay I touch you?â Y/N murmurs against her lips.
âYes, princess.â
âCall me by my name.â
âYes, Y/N.â
Aegon makes himself comfortable at the foot of the bed, enjoying the show.
Y/N tugs playfully at the closure of ChĂŠrieâs robe, allowing it to fall open and onto the ground. Trailing kisses down her neck and collarbones to her breasts, feeling the weight of them in her hands, before taking the left peak in her mouth.
ChĂŠrieâs head falls back. âMight I help you with your dress, Princess? Y/N.â She amends.
âPlease,â Y/N nods, turning away from her, allowing nimble fingers to unlace her gown. Sheâs never been nude with anyone but Aegon, the maesters, or her maids.
ChĂŠrie lies open mouthed kisses along her shoulders, feeling her shiver. Gently she comes around to face her. âWould you like more wine?â
âNo,â Y/N blinks at her. It is irrational, to fear being perceived by someone who does not love her.
ChĂŠrie brushes her lips over Y/Nâs, âyou are lovely.â
âBest of luck trying to convince her.â Aegon remarks. âSheâs grown deaf to my opinion on the matter.â
Y/N looks over ChĂŠrie shoulder to her husband. âWhy is it youâre still dressed?â
âBecause no one has been kind enough to undress me,â Aegon chuckles.
âCome,â Y/N holds a hand out to him. âI will do it.â
ChĂŠrie perches herself on the bed, allowing them to carry on. Whispering and giggling as Y/N works Aegon free of his robes.
Y/N trains her gaze on the woman upon the mattress, head cradled against her husbandâs shoulder. âIâd like to taste her.â
âFine by me, my love. This night is for you.â
âMay I?â The Princess asks ChĂŠrie.
âSo long as youâll let me return the favor.â ChĂŠrie replies.
âAegon,â Y/N calls, sweetly. Dropping to her knees at the bedâs end. âWill you help me?â
He comes to kneel beside her. âThereâs no reason to be nervous, my dearest love.â Aegon brushes dark waves from her face and over her shoulders as ChĂŠrie lies back; allowing her legs to fall apart. âSee how wet she is for you?â
âYes.â
âPut your pretty mouth just there and show her what you like.â Aegon coos, âthen take these fingers,â he moves for her dominant hand, kissing her index and middle digits. âFind the spongy part of her cunt and stroke upward.â
Y/N imitates the motion. âLike this?â
Aegon runs his knuckles over her cheek, âjust like that.â
Y/N nods, kissing him one last time before diving in. The woman above her squeals in delight as the princess licks a firm stripe up her slit.
âGood girl,â Aegon murmurs.
ChĂŠrieâs hands find Y/Nâs hair, massaging her scalp, moaning in earnest as the princess slips a finger inside, then a second. âThat feels wonderful, Y/N.â
She tastes of honey and rose water. Y/N understands then, how Aegon could spent hours with his head between her own thighs.
âYou should fuck her,â ChĂŠrie says to Aegon. âWith your cock, or your tongue.â Do something for the divine creature bringing her to the high heavens.
âI would love to fuck her, but Iâd hate to distract her when she is doing such a fine job.â Aegon passes a hand over his wifeâs hair. âCould you take me in your mouth?â
âOf course, your grace.â ChĂŠrie licks her lips, slacking her jaw to accommodate his length. She sucks him with vigor, vocalizing her appreciation for the Princessâs work around his cock. Her peak is met swiftly, as is Aegonâs.
Y/N leans away from her cunt with a triumphant grin. âHow was it?â
ChĂŠrieâs right arm is slung over her eyes. âHeavenly. Now get up here so I might repay you.â
âMy darling wife does like to squirm.â Aegon warns, situating Y/N between his legs with one of hers over each of his, leaving no part of her to the imagination. âI will keep her still for you.â
Y/N sighs, clutching at his forearms.
âEven your cunt is beautiful, your grace.â ChĂŠrie slides one finger into her warmth, pumping slowly as her mouth meets her slick.
âThank you.â Y/N clunks her head back against Aegonâs shoulder. He is right after all, she does like to squirm. The inability to do so is dizzying, especially as ChĂŠrie adds a second finger; stroking slow and deep against the sweet spot within her.
âHow is that, Princess?â ChĂŠrie murmurs.
âGood,â Y/N gasps, writhing as best she can in Aegonâs hold.
âPoor thing, thereâs nowhere to go, is there?â Aegon nuzzles the side of her face.
Y/N shifts again, âfuck.â One of her hand reaches back to fist in his hair as the other snakes down to the woman lapping at her.
ChĂŠrie hums, taking the princessâs pearl into her mouth and flicking over it with her tongue.
âPlease,â Y/N cries, to her or to him. Whoever will listen. The pleasure so blinding it hurts. âPlease, please.â
âPlease what, my heart?â Aegon chuckles, âuse your words.â
Y/N tries again, tears falling over her cheeks. âPlease.â
Aegon feels the tense of her muscles, the shortness of her breath, the sound of her cries. âCome undone for us, sweet girl. Iâve got you.â He tightens his arms around her waist, kissing the side of her face to gentle her.
Her peak is white hot, Y/N swears she meets the gods as she crests it.
âGood girl.â
Sheâs vaguely aware of Aegonâs fingers in her hair as the mattress dips and ChĂŠrie sits beside them.
âSweeter than any wine.â
Aegon reels ChĂŠrie in for a kiss, licking into her mouth, tasting his wife on her lips. âShe is a delicacy.â
âIndeed.â
When Y/N is lucid enough, she lulls her head to the side, watching intently.
âAre you back with us, darling girl?â
She nods.
ChĂŠrie smirks, cupping Y/Nâs cheek, kissing her once, then back to Aegon. Taking turns between them, until the Princeâs cock is aching and the Princess is dripping onto the sheets.
âI need to be inside you.â Aegon whispers to his wife, who nods, enthusiastically. He lies back, with Y/N still resting on his chest. âTurn around for me.â
She does as sheâs told, straddling his hips and pushing up on her knees.
ChĂŠrie is up near Aegonâs pillow, plush bottom lip caught between her teeth as she Princess takes her husbandâs length in hand, lining him up with her entrance and sinking down.
Y/Nâs pretty mouth hangs out, gasping in tandem with Aegonâs groan.
âGood girl, taking me like you were born for it.â
âI love you.â
Aegonâs expression softens, âas I love you.â
âMay I do something for you?â The Princess would hate for their guest to feel cast aside.
âNo, but I can.â Aegon grins, âhop up here, on my face.â
ChĂŠrie laughs, âyou are very kind, your grace.â She hovers over his face for a moment, turned towards his lovely bride.
âGet down here, you awful thing.â Aegon huffs, pulling her cunt down to his waiting mouth.
âFuck,â ChĂŠrie cries.
Aegon grants her no reprieve, lapping at her slick until it coats his face. Free hand squeezing his wifeâs hip as she moves over his cock.
ChĂŠrie sighs, leaning forward to catch her kiss swollen lips. Swallowing the Princessâs cries and replacing them with her own.
Y/N cups the other womanâs breasts, teasing her nipples with the palm of her hands.
ChĂŠrie bucks against Aegonâs tongue, earning her a little love tap from the prince.
âBe good.â He murmurs against her cunt, âor I will stop.â
âForgive me, your grace.â ChĂŠrie pants. âYour wife is so lovely.â
Aegon hums against her, in agreement.
âYou are lovely,â Y/N breathes, fucking Aegon faster; harder as the pads of his fingers press into her flesh. âHeâs always asking to put his mouth on me, that way.â She motions to ChĂŠrie, perched over Aegonâs face as he feasts on her. âIs it nice? Perhaps I should indulge him.â
âIt is very nice, your grace.â ChĂŠrie leans forward, sucking one of the princessâs nipples into her mouth. âIf your husband wants for nothing but your cunt in his face, know that you are well loved. You should very much indulge him, the both of you will be grateful.â
Y/N releases out a high pitched whimper as Aegon thrusts up to meet her, bending his knees for leverage.
She clenches around him like mad, Aegon himself on the precipice of bliss. With the telltale fluttering of his wifeâs peak, he redoubles his efforts on ChĂŠrie. She comes undone on his tongue.
Y/N continues rocking against him, the warmth of his spend filling her. When she has milked him dry, she rolls off, collapsing onto the mattress. Catching a glimpse of Aegonâs grin as ChĂŠrie moves from his face.
It takes only a moment with the Princess resting against his chest for the Prince to find sleep, releasing an ungodly snore.
âWell then,â Y/N laughs, âI hope you donât mind if we stay a while.â
âAs long as youâd like.â ChĂŠrie stares up at the ceiling.
âDo you enjoy your work here?â
The woman smirks, âI enjoy you very much, Princess.â
âButâŚon a whole, do you?â
âThe coin is good and the hours are short.â ChĂŠrie lifts a shoulder.
âWhat did you want to be?â Y/N wonders.
âYour grace?â
âBefore you began working here, what did you want to be?â
ChĂŠrie sighs, reaching across Aegon to twist a bit of the princessâs hair around her finger. âI canât recall. Though my mother always hoped Iâd be a serving girl to a high born lady.â
âWhat happened to your mother?â Y/N asks, âif you donât mind.â
âShe has been gone for some years now, since before I was eight and ten. She caught a chill and never recovered.â
âI am very sorry.â
âTis not your fault, Princess. It happens more often than youâd think.â
âYou might be my lady,â Y/N offers, âin waiting.â
âYour grace?â
âIf it pleases you.â

three great men and death | daemon targaryen
Description: You were the object of his ire - the foreigner who stole his position as hand. Hate and love are parallel lines. Daemon finds himself running to you after his failed marriages and exiles.
Pairing: the hand! reader/daemon targaryen
Word Count: 3k+ did not bother to check after it passed 3k
A/N: Enemies to lovers. Reader is crazier than Daemon.
There have been stories about his brother's new hand. A great beauty that came from Lys and managed to earn the King's trust. You tell everyone that your purpose as Hand is for the betterment of Westeros, but Daemon does not believe that - how could a foreigner want good for a land she did not come from?
"Power is a curious thing, my lord. Are you fond of riddles?" you inquired, walking past the roses and peonies. "Why? Am I about to hear one?" he asked. His eyes narrowed slightly.
He has slithered his way into your company, seeking to understand you better. He needed to know your purpose; and the best way to undermine the enemy was to pretend to be their ally.
"Three great men sit in a room, a king, a priest and a rich man. Between them stands a common sellsword. Each great man bids the sellsword kill the other two. Who dies?" you inquired, carefully watching him from your periphery.
You did not succeed by being stupid and trusting. You knew what kind of game he was playing at and it would be best to quench this little rebellion of his before it began. "Depends on the sellsword." he surmises, staring at your face and awaiting a reaction.
"Does it? He's not the crown, no gold, no favor with the gods." you continued toying with him. "He has a sword, the power of life and death." Daemon argued, hidden meaning in his tone.
He's telling you that he wields the sword.
"But if it is the swordsman who rules, why do we pretend that kings hold all the power?" the sides of your lips turned upwards. His eyes twinkle slightly, but it loses its glow the moment he opens his mouth.
"I have decided that I do not enjoy your riddles, lady hand." Daemon turned to look at you, escorting you deeper into the garden.
"What I next say is not a riddle." you breathed, cleverly waiting until his eyebrows merge together. "What is it?" he humored.
The facade breaks, your smile dissapears as quickly as it came.
"There have been rumors of you and the Princess. I understand that you aim to slander the Crown's good name - mayhaps even take Rhaenyra to wife as you've already taken her maidenhead." you say.
"- but I want you to understand that the plan is stupid, and that King Viserys plans to throw you back into Lady Royce's arms." you informed, pretending that you were truly concerned about his wellbeing. Daemon's breath stills.
There was no one around you in the gardens. Not a single soul that was able to hear about the ordeal. "Lady hand." he began, his hands circling around your neck, threatening to choke the life out of you.
"I know the truth, that you did take Rhaenyra's maidenhead. But I will not tell your brother if you agree to my proposal." you held his hand, attempting to pry it away from your neck, but his grip tightens.
"Speak." he commanded, his fiery purple eyes glaring daggers upon your own.
"What I offer is a transactional relationship. I keep my silence, and defend you against any accusation, but you must be on my side." you insisted, that twinkle returns in his eyes. Gods, he was unpredictable.
"Against who?" he interrogated.
"Ser Otto. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. He wishes to rid me of this post. He wishes to make his grandson heir. I am the only one standing between the family that you love, and a war." you breathed.
He frees you from his grasp. A strange smile on his face.
"You prove yourself useful, lady hand." he complimented, before abandoning you in front of the Weirwood Tree.
He lays cooly on his bed, watching as you entered his chambers with a hood hiding your face. "I have brought the evidence that you begged for." you informed, throwing a compilation of letters on his bed. "I did not beg for anything, lady hand." he rolled his eyes.
But he still reads the letters that you've presented him.
"These are compilations of Ser Otto's letters to his brother. Clear proof of his plans to supplant your niece." you explained in simpler terms, maintaining the distance between you, in case he think of something else.
You've been allies for half a year now. You've grown to understand that Daemon was the type of man who allowed his emotions to rule over rational thought. His lack of control gave you the upper hand.
"He wants Aegon as King, and by extension, he wants to be King." you continued, seeing his eyebrows merge together in intrigue. "What should we do? Should we tell Viserys?" he asked.
Daemon already had a plan of action in mind - to kill Ser Otto. But that wasn't the smartest course of action. Your plan was inevitably going to end up better than his.
"Ser Otto is the Queen's father. Viserys has always allowed mercy to persevere throughout his rule. Ser Otto will not be punished. He'll be exiled and in a few years, he will be back for revenge. I say that we keep the evidence and wait for the perfect time to use it against him." you strongly advised.
Daemon smiles at you - a real smile, this time.
He pats the empty side on his bed.
You sigh, but you sit beside him anyways.
"I wish to marry Princess Rhaenyra. I need you to think of a plan that will use this to get what I want." he tells you, pointing at the letters.
A loud chuckle escapes your mouth.
"We have a transactional relationship, my prince. I have given you something and you've not given me anything in return." you scoff.
He tilts his head. "If I kill my lady wife, Viserys might give you the Runestone. It would be killing two birds with one stone." he pondered, smiling to himself as his words rhymed.
"Lady Rhea Royce has cousins." you reminded him.
"Her cousin is sworn to the Kingsguard. The rest of the cousins, you tell me have collectively committed a grave crime that could send them in servitude at the Wall." he schemes.
He casts you a look.
"I will threaten them with a letter, and I know them best - they will flee like a feather on top of a bouncing mattress. This is your path to legitimacy, lady hand - a chance to have a title." he continues.
"Viserys will never allow me to have lands and titles of my own." you looked away from him. A woman from Lys, inheriting a great castle. "The King has always granted your petitions. He treats you like his own daughter. He will give you the Runestone. It is between you and me." he says with certainty.
He takes a deep breath, reaching for his robes on the chair.
He stands up.
"Where are you going?" you inquired.
"To do exactly what I've told you." he rolled his eyes, lifting his grey hood until it was over his head.
Prince Daemon Targaryen was going to be the death of you.
There was a stinging feeling in your heart. Were you cruel for not telling him about the engagement between Laenor and Rhaenyra? It wasn't like you wanted him to remain in the dark about it - but the idea of him marrying his niece brought shivers down your spine.
It felt wrong.
"It behooves me how half of House Royce flees the very second Lady Rhea is murdered. Do you have any idea why that is?" King Viserys asks you while pouring himself a cup of tea.
"They must've murdered her, my king. Why else?" your eyebrows merge together, a line that you've rehearsed a million times in front of the mirror. It was wrong to lie. There was a time in your life where you were pure, unable to lie, but those days were gone now.
You've given this world pieces of your beliefs until none remained the same. This was the law of life - you reminded yourself. There were only two types of people, the preys and the predator. The ones taking and the ones getting took. It wasn't fair, but life was never fair.
"There has been a vacancy in the Runestone. You've been loyal to the crown and to the people of this kingdom, and thus, I wish to endorse you in claiming the Runestone." he says with kindness in his tone.
Your eyes lit up.
You didn't even have to ask him for it.
"I've always admired your dedication. All the sleepless nights that you offered to ensure that my nights would be filled of sleep. There is not that many years in front of me, and before I pass - I wish to repay your dedication and loyalty." he finished.
You force a smile on your face.
"Thank you, your grace. I promise to protect Rhaenyra and if she ever offers me a seat in her council in the future, I wish to offer her the same dedication and loyalty." you thanked.
A genuine chuckle escapes your mouth as you continued dancing with Ser Harwin Strong. There was a certain tranquility in his features. He brought you peace, made you remember a kinder version of yourself.
"You are beautiful, my lady." he complimented you.
There have been hundreds of men that have called you exactly that. There was always lust behind their eyes, but Harwin was different - his eyes had the same twinkle as Daemon's. He looked like he was telling you the truth - that he admired you too.
"I assume that those sentiments have been provided to numerous other maidens in this court, but I still am thankful that you find me thus." you danced to the music, staring deep into his eyes.
You were aware of Daemon's gaze upon your figures. You couldn't understand why he was looking at you - and not Rhaenyra. The wedding has not been conducted yet - he should steal her, marry her.
"I've not told anyone that before. Only you." he insisted.
You could see in his eyes that he was telling the truth.
"Of course, my lord." you smiled cheekily.
"You fancy my lady hand?" Viserys leaned over so that his brother was able to hear his voice. Daemon rolls his eyes. "Her?" he scoffs. "She is a clever and sly little thing. Sometimes, I find myself agreeing with whatever proposal she brings forth - I do not know the purpose but I know that it is for the betterment of the realm." Viserys admits.
Daemon glances at his brother.
You were dancing circles around them.
"If I had a son around her age, I would've wed him to her. She is a lowborn girl, but she knows our highborn games." Viserys says.
There were times where Daemon thought about the feel of your skin. How your voice would sound in the early morning. He wonders if your palms were warm enough to soothe his freezing ones. But alas, those are thoughts that he keeps to himself, because he cannot make the mistake of falling in love with you.
He knows that he is incapable of loving a woman like you. Because you are too good for him, too much like him. He craves his brother's attention and he fears that once he has you - he'll abandon his purpose. He fears that when he realizes that you are all he wants, he'll be content and happy.
He's not ready for a time like that yet.
He is still standing on the threshold, unable to cross the line.
"There are leeches on your throne. The lady hand is loyal to Rhaenyra. It would be wise to keep her." Daemon advised, before standing up and making his way into the dance.
He's not failed to observe you dancing with Ser Harwin. He intends to have a little fun of his own.
He smiles at Lady Laena.
"You are almost as beautiful as your brother." he teased.
Daemon, always so busy in catching up with the dance - too late to realize that it was an illusion, and that there's no where to cling on to.
He found peace shortly after that.
He married Lady Laena and you married Ser Harwin Strong. Thousands of miles away, yet your lives still mirrored each other. He could not speak on your behalf, but he knew that Laena was good for him - she was kind and sweet.
She did not care about the highborn games in Kingslanding. All she wanted was a warm home with little children running along the halls. "How is the babe?" he inquired, placing a hand on top of her swollen stomach. It was their third child.
"They are well, but they miss home." she replied, sitting beside him on the bench. "When will we return to Westeros? I miss Driftmark." she admitted, resting her head on Daemon's shoulders.
Daemon couldn't find it in himself to return home. He loved Laena, but he knows that it would ruin him to see you. With Rhaenyra it was different - their love made itself known, but with you? You both drifted away from each other before that love could release itself.
He fears that seeing you would make him admit that something has been indeed missing.
"Rhaenyra has given birth to another baby boy named Joffrey. And your brother tells me that your old friend, the lady hand, has given birth to her second child with Ser Harwin. A little babe named Duncan." Laena continued, hoping that it would sway her husband into returning.
"We should offer our condolences too." Laena paused.
"- is the babe dead?" Daemon inquired, his wife shakes her head.
"There was a fire in Harrenhal. Ser Harwin died with Ser Lyonel." Laena informed. "What?" Daemon's eyes narrowed.
Before Laena could answer his question, there was a stinging sensation in her stomach, telling her that the babe was to come. "The babe is coming, Daemon." she breathed sharply.
Daemon stares coldly as his wife's body is lowered into the ocean. Consumed by the fire of her own dragon. "I offer my condolences, your daughters look exactly like Laena. My children look like Harwin too and it has been a great pain." you admit, sitting beside him.
He continues looking at the horizon. Unwilling to look at you in fear that his resolve would fade. "How is life, Daemon?" you asked.
"It could be better." he admits. "- and how is your life, lady hand?" he asked in an amused tone. Though, he still refused to meet your eyes.
"My oldest daughter is betroth to Prince Jacaerys. Believe that whatever transaction we did or did not have is ancient history." you cleverly reminded him, while also hinting that your loyalties shift like the tides.
"You wish your daughter be Queen?" he asks plainly.
Your shared language of being blunt with each other not forgotten by time. "I wish our kingdom be safe." you corrected.
"Of course." he exhales.
"Goodbye, Daemon." you place a hand on his shoulder.
He find himself involuntarily looking at you.
The sight of you takes him off guard.
Nothing has indeed changed.
It was a year later when he saw you again. He visited Kingslanding with both of his daughter, for his ill brother.
"My king, you have visitors. Prince Daemon and his daughters, Baela and Rhaena." you announced, allowing the small family to enter Viserys' chambers.
"Brother," Viserys says weakly.
"It has been far too long." Daemon smiles, sitting on Viserys' bedside.
Daemon sits beside you on the bench. Time did not leave an indent on your features, still as beautiful as the day he left. "I never told you but I enjoyed your riddles." he admitted.
You respond with a chuckle.
"Time hath given me the answers to some, but there is one riddle that remains in my mind. Three Great Men." he says, still remembering the story from long ago. "Who dies?" he inquired.
Your past comes back to you. Memories in all of its color.
"I don't know the answer but I know that all men must die." you repeated the answer that you observed from decades back.
"- once the dust settles, and the sellsword swings his sword, someone will want revenge. The sellsword will certainly have his head on a spike soon after, for killing the king, the priest, or the rich man. I've always reminded you and Viserys that I am lowborn - and despite having land and marrying a highborn man, I am still. The highborn schemes are costly, and only benefit a single person. I do not know who lives, but I know who dies. The sellsword. The people." you answered.
"I wanted to leave my post the moment King Viserys gave me Lady Rhea's land, but I remained because I feared that Ser Otto would scheme to have Aegon on the throne. Scheme of war." you reminded.
There were many things that you did for your own benefit, but this wasn't one of them.
"- and the smallfolk are the ones who pay heavily. I thought about a little girl in the slums of Flea Bottom, with ambitions and intelligence greater than any highborn lord. The only difference was, she was born there and you were born here." you continued.
Daemon takes a casual sip of his ale.
"How long has it been since you've last step foot inside of a tavern?" he teased with a small chuckle. "I've only ever gone with you." you smiled, leaning on the chair and soaking in the warm ambiance of the place. Gods, you were the only woman here. How sad.
"Do you ever think about an alternative future? If we'd been the ones married?" you suddenly inquired, allowing the alcohol to speak in your behalf. "What do you mean by that?" he asks, eyebrows merging together and suddenly transported to a past before the fall.
"We were amazing, gods. We had the entire kingdom wrapped around our fingers. Viserys offered an engagement between us, and I declined him because I knew how much you loved Rhaenyra. But seeing that you're not married to her, still, makes me believe that what you felt for her was nothing but limerence." you surmised.
Able to read him like an open book.
"I loved Laena, and I love our daughters." he says, knowing that he wouldn't have it any other way. "I loved Harwin too, he was one of the few men that made me abandon rational thought." you reply, agreeing with him that you wouldn't have it any other way too.
"- but gods, I did burn for you." you added with a chuckle. You take another sip of your ale. "I thought that if we were together, then there was nothing in this world that could be out of reach." you hummed.
Daemon Targaryen was standing at the threshold and he finally has the courage to cross the line. "I did love you. I still love you." he corrected himself. Your head turns in his direction, shocked at his sudden confession.
"There were nights where I'd think about your beauty, the feel of your skin, your voice. But I kept those thoughts to myself, because you would never indulge yourself in me. I knew how dangerous I was. How much I craved my brother's approval. I didn't want it to ruin you. I didn't want you to turn against me." he admits in a low tone, careful not to be heard by anyone.
"I figured that I could only love you from afar, because if you truly knew me then I would drive you away. Time has made me realized that I am not as awful as I believe myself to be." he smiles, but before he could get another word in - your lips were on his.
Finally ready to be together.
It only took more than a decade.

The reminder of that week Aemond rarely strayed from Visenyaâs side, at first it started with daily dragon rides. Vermithor and Vaghar riding side by side.
It had been the first time they had flown on their respective dragons, when before Aemond had claimed Vaghar, Visenya often took Aemond on the back of Vermithor, and now seeing him atop his own dragon was a strange experience. He looked so strong and proud. He was born to be a dragon rider.
Long gone was the shy and nervous Aemond, who feared never riding a dragon of his own, the boy who would hold his dragon egg over the fire day and night in hopes it would hatch. Now he seemed to share a deep bond with Vaghar, though she had joked that perhaps the old dragon had mistaken him for her first rider, Queen Viseyna.
âIt would make sense, you both had long silver hair, Valyrian features-â she had started as they walked the halls of the keep, having returned from their dragon ride.
âI am sure she doesnât think me to be the conquerâ Aemond dismissed, shaking his head, â as much as I am flattered at the notion, I am sure Vaghar can tell the difference.
âReally? She is what, 150? Surely riders blur together after a timeâ She jested.
He hummed âAnd how are we sure Vermithor does not mistake you for old King Jaehaerys?â
She gasped in shock, âare you calling me and old man?â She laughed, âno offence to our great grandsire but, I highly doubt we had much in common, bar our Valyrian featuresâ
âWas that not your driving point for me being mistaken as Visenya?â He hummed.
She scoffed in jest, âIt was a compliment!â She insisted, walking towards Aemond, âDo you not remember our lessons? How you said if you were to have a wife you would have one like Visenya, a fierce warrior?â She hummed.
âI do, and tell me, sweet Visenya, have you become a fierce warrior?â
âYou think I would have spent years in the north, where woman are encouraged to train with shield and sword, or with Daemon on Dragonstone and not be taught at least the basics?â She asked.
âI suppose I should have guessedâ he said as they approached the entrance to the training yard, âmayhaps you could show me your skills?â
She smirked, leading the way.
Luckily she wore her riding leathers, allowing her more movement than her typical gown, with trousers and tunic she was offered the same mobility as Aemond, though he was much taller than her. As they stood sword in hand ready to face the other, he seemed to tower over her, and even his steps seemed more graceful as they began to curl each other, waiting for the other to make a move.
He eventually acted first, his sword clashing with hers as her quick reflects deflected his attack.
Their swords clanged against one another, neither making a move as each attack was deflected or treated with its own attack in kind. It wasnât until Visenya decided on a new tactic that an attack (though with training swords) was truly struck. She stepped back, circling him before turning her body in a quick flourish, her sword bashing his, and her swords tip pressing against his chest.
He hummed, seemingly impressed, though not for long as he quickly regained momentum of his sword and attacked her sword with his own, the sword nearly flying from her hand and she once again moved in a flourish, this time to defend rather than attack.
They circled each other once again, their swords drawn, waiting for the others next move.
An audience had gathered now. Sending him a smirk she started  her next round of attacks.
Their swords clanged loudly thought the courtyard, their bodies swerving each attack, barley dodging each others sword.
They seemed to circle the other for hours, though only minutes passed. Their eyes locked, their glaze seemed taunting, teasing. She bit her lip, causing his eye to be drawn to her lip, his gaze heated.
She used this opportunity to knock the sword from his hand, and bring in her her own to his neck.
Applause sounded around the courtyard.
She laughed, lowering her sword.
âI hope you do not wish to join our wedding tourney with those skills.â She joked.
He hummed, âyou are impressiveâ he mused, taking their swords and placing them on the rack. âMayhaps you should enter the tourneyâ
She laughed âand loose the chance to win the queen of love and beauty? I think notâ
He smiled, âI shame I hate tourneys, or I would have assured you the crownâ
âYou do?â She asked, face dropping a little, âI always thought them romanticâ
They started to walk back through the keep, set to return to their chambers before their engagement feast tonight, âI suppose Cregan will at least enter, and he shall crown me upon his victory.â
âCregan? Cregan Stark?â He sneered the question âyou still talk to him?â Jealousy clear in his tone.
âOf course, he is my dearest friendâ
âBut your mother wished to marry you both.â âSo? He has had a wife and a son since then, and I, in case you have forgotten thought to stay betrothed to you!â she glanced at him, his face was set in a sneer, jealously clear in his features. She laughed âthe love I have for him is simply platonic, I can assure youâ
âHmmâŚperhaps I shall enter the tourney, it is only right I crown my betrothed personallyâ
She laughed âof course, Aemond.â She said once they reached the door to her chambers, âI shall see you at the feastâ
That nigh the halls of the red keep were packed full of lords and ladies from throughout the realm. The feast was grand, with food from the best cooks from throughout the realm, no expense was spared, with the most famous bards playing her favourite songs, and the ladies and lords dancing and laughing as they all filled their stomachs with food and wine.
And yet as she stood saying pleasantry after pleasantry, answering the same questions again and again she did not find any joy. She had not eaten or drank a thing, despite the feats being hallway through, and Aemond had still yet to arrive. Â
The few moments she had spent escaping her quests were spent comforting Heleana as she had quickly grown overwhelmed with the noise.
Heleana had tried to stay as long as she could, but the second the first hour ended, Visneya saw it fit for her to leave. She loved her aunt, her sweet friend and though she hated the lack of her presence at her ceremony, she hated seeing her discomfort more.
She felt a sense of loneliness with her gone. Finding her eyes dancing around the room in search for a friendly face, for Aemondâs face.
And yet the closest she got to Aemond, was Aegon.
Aegonâs eyes always followed her, words always seeming to be on the tip of his tongue anytime she neared him. He had quickly gotten drunk, sat in a corner with his friends, Leon she believed one of them to be called. And yet she could feel his eyes on her. Watching her.
For years he had been the closest she had gotten to Aegon, having become a dear friend and confidant, but seeing him in person, he was entirely different to the Aegon she knew.
He was still obsessed with her, more than ever. His eyes always on her. Or Always finding her when she was alone.
But Aegon had changed drastically, he was a drunk and a terrible husband. Ignoring Helaena in favour of whores and wine, she had not seen a nice word shared between them. Her was a good father though, with the twins often in his company, when he was sober that was.
And though his eyes seemed to invite her over, she stayed put. Continuing her endless conversation with some Redwyne lord.
âSenya!â she heard a voice boom, and suddenly she was turning around the see Cregan Stark.
âCregan!â she boomed back, excusing herself from lord Redwyne. âI thought you would not be here till tomorrow!â
âaye, we were meant to arrive later this evening, but decided to rush here. Couldnât miss your feast now could i?â he spoke, smiling.
âI am glad, I have missed you.â
âaye, as have i.â he said, before starting to look around the room ânowhere is this betrothed of yours? About time I made an introduction.â
She scoffed, âI do not know!â she shook her head, âhe hasnât shown up yetâ
Cregan send her a confused look, âand here I thought I was late! How can he be this late to his won feastâ
âhow should I know?â
âwell I suppose this means you have yet to take to the dance floor then?â
She smiled, âwhy is Cregan Stark asking me to dance?â
He laughed, âaye, about time I did.â
She laughed taking his outstretched hand.
âtonight has been dreadfully dullâ she spoke up, as they took the floor, âI was hoping for some kind of commotionâ
He laughed, âwell from the look on your uncle Aemondâs face I would say one might be coming soon.â âoh, Daemon always looks like that, always looking for a fightâ she laughed, as they continued their dance.
The pair caught up, though with their constant letters there was little to catch up on, though Cregan seemed happy with her and Aemond finding away to reconcile. He had known her angst, her years of feeling alone and had hated how she had been forced to leave the north. She seemed to fit in perfectly in the north, with her snow kissed hair, she seemed to blend in to even the summer snow.
As the dance came to an end, the doors opened and Aemond finally strolled in. Visenya slowly separated herself from Cregan, as Aemond approached her.
Her carried a gift with him, and a smirk.
âbetrothedâ he said in greeting.
âAemondâ she greeted in return, âyou are lateâ she scowled, moving them away from the prying eyes of the gathered lords and ladies.
âApologies, I⌠I had something to do.â He presented her his gift, a jewellery box âhere, one of the many gifts I plan to give you.â
She looked unsure as she grabbed the box from his hand, opening it she saw a sapphire necklace.
The necklace had five layers, the last three encased with sapphire jewels. A Â large sapphire lied in the centre, with smaller sapphires placed side by side it, encased in their own ring of gold.
She gasped as she opened it, âits beautifulâ
âjust like you, my Sapphireâ she smiled shyly, motioning Aemond to place it on her.
She had forgone a necklace tonight, finding little need for it, but as Aemond placed this necklace on her next her attire felt complete, as if she had forgone the necklace in preparation for Aemond, though he had left to hints to gifts.
âcomeâ she motioned Aemond, gripping his arm as she led him to the table. As always their family sat on one long table, facing out onto the crowd, her grandsire sat in his chair, adjacent to the iron throne. On his left sat Alicent, and on his left sat her mother Rhaenrya.
As the family all moved to sit, though Heleanaâs seat was left empty. Her grandsire stood to speak.
âI am most joyous to welcome you all here today.â He smiled, looking over to where she and Aemond sat. âtoday we celebrate the betrothal of my granddaughter, Princess Visenya, the future heir to the iron throne, and my son Prince Aemond, her future consort.â Applause sounded, as the king continued âtoday we celebrate the start of their celebrations, before they marry at the end of the week!â more applause sounded, âtonight we feast and fill our bellies and tomorrow the tourney shall start!â
Aemond looked over to where Cregan sat at the news of a tourney. He sent him a smirk, though not that Cregan seemed to care as he simply laughed at the princes jealousy.
âAemondâ she started, grabbing his hand as the room once again filled with music, dance and laughter, âdo you wish to dance?â
ânoâ he spoke quickly. Causing her to thrown.
âohâ she said dejected. He looked over at her, frowning at her own frown.
âI do not like to dance, my Sapphireâ
âof courseâ she said, as she started to fill her plate.
She turned to face Jace, who wore a scowl.
âis something wrong brother?â
âno, just I had thought the wedding celebrations were to happen over a moonâ
âno, you are staying a moon, but I marry at weeks end.â
He sent her a dejected look, as if he had some plan that was now ruined. He quickly replaced his frown with a smile, âwould you like to dance?â
âyes!â she said gleefully, sending Aemond a look as he scowled.
She and Jace must have danced for five songs before finally retuning to their seats. She was out of breath as she started to speak to Aemond. But Aemond wasnât listening.
No, his attention was solely focused on the pig that had been placed before him and the laugh on Lukes face.
He slammed his fist against the table.
âAemondâ she whispered, âplease donâtâ
He looked at her, sneering. Though it was not directed at her, at least she hoped not.
"not in front of all these people Aemond, please"
He ignored her "I would like to make a toast to my family, for today we reunite after years apart, I hope our bond will grow...hmm.. Strong" he stopped, looked at Luke and Jace, then continued'' I have missed my nephews, I hope that we will once again be able to rebuild a strong... bond we shared in our youths"
Naive to what had just happened her Grandsire cheers, happy at Aemond seeming making amends.
Her brothers were struggling to keep calm knowing a public reaction could be all the confirmation the court needed for the rumours to become the truth.
Jace flinched, realising what Aemondâs speech was saying and how the court could take it, so he declared his own toast "thank you, uncle. I cherish the memories we shared in out youth, and now in honour of your betrothal to my sweet sister" he stops, stares at her, thinking his words through " i-i raise this toast to you to wish you and my sister congratulations, may your marriage be fruitful, and your bond remain strong" he sneered the last word, hating the very word.
She stood up "thank you dear brother" she says to Jace before turning to the hall "today is a joyous day, and it is only the beginning of what I can only hope will be a marriage of unity for our houseâ she seemed to displace the tension that was building in the room, with a small round of applause sounding.
Glares were sent around the table, and though their guests acted naĂŻve to it as they all went about continuing in the festivities, they all seemed to be waiting for a fight.
She looked down, a nervous look filling her face as she started to pick at her food.
Dread filling her body as she saw Aegon move down the table, wishpering something in his ear. And before she knew it Jace was punching Aegon square in the jaw.
Gasps were sounded from the crowd, bets being placed as she saw the exchange of bags of coins between tables.
Aemond stood up, pulling Jace of Aegon, only for Jace to turn around and punch square in the jaw.
A chuckle escaped him, unbothered by Jaces punch and simply pushing him to the floor.
The guards move forward, separating the pair as Luke attempts to get to Aemond
She scoffed as Aemond laughed at the state of her brothers.
She looked around the room, many of the guests had started their own fight, many were trapped, trampled, punched and kicked. Guards trying their best to separate them.
If Visenya had bothered to stay longer, perhaps she could have seen the outcome of the night. But the second the king dismissed the hall, she had left. Not bothering what had happened or was going to happen. The only thing she cared about was going to sleep and dealing with the problems in the morning.
She was awoken a dawn to the sound of a wall being pulled open.
Sitting up in her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she came face to face with Aemond, a sheepish look on his face and a bouquet of Azaleas, her favourite flower.
âAemond?â she asked, trying to wake herself up âwhat are you doing here?â
âi- I came to apologiseâ he looked down, almost sheepishly, âmy actionsâŚI regret them. I acted in jealousy and anger and I have come to beg for your forgiveness.â
âWhat you did last night, in front of all those peopleâŚIt was reckless and idiotic.â She shook her head âI would have expected such a thing for Aegon, but you? I cannot say it didnât hurt. To hurt my own brother, to tease their legitimacy, it was ridiculous and i⌠I know you have changed but I did not think you cruelâ
âhave I not told you I have grown cold? I did not jest when I said it, and though I do not harbour kind feelings to your familyâŚ.i shall not act upon them again, though my behaviour, I can not say it will not happen. I am jealous and reckless. If I am offended I will not sit by and let myself nor you be insulted.â He moved towards the bed.
âI- I understand that Aemond, but please keep your anger away from the prying eyes of the realmâ
âI will, I am sorry, trulyâ you reached for the flowers in his hand, sniffing them and smiling at the gesture.
Her duvet had fallen to her waist, leaving her chemise on show. With the hot weather she had worn a thin, near sheer chemise to bed, one that made no efforts to hide her from.
She blushed as Aemond looked at her, his eyes drawn to the outline of her breasts.
âAemond?â she asked, trying to capture his attention, he looked up, a blush of his own on his cheeks as he moved forward and kissed your lips.
It was the first kiss you had both shared, though it was clear that he had more experience than she did, as his mouth quickly dominated hers, his tongue pushing into her mouth, causing her to moan softly.
She fell back in the bed Aemond falling with her.
The kiss was soft and yet full of passion.
âVisneyaâ he whispered against her lips as her pulled back from her. âI need to taste youâ
She hummed, âi- you wish toâŚâ
He smirked, pulling the covers of the duvet fully back, and moving to position him self down her body. He looked up at her as he played with the hem of her chemise.
She smiled, moving to lift it up and bare her wet cunt to him.
He moaned at the sight, and quickly buried himself between her thighs.
He licked her slit teasingly, realising in the moans he let out at the feeling of his tongue against her slit. She grew wetter and wetter with each motion of his tongue, her moans increasing as he started to focus his attention on her clit. Gripping her hips he started to  gave small yet fast licks at her clit, his eyes meeting hers as she gripped the bedding, moaning in pleasure.
He started to move his tongue faster, moaning at he taste of her.
âAemondâ she moaned as she reached forward and gripped onto his hair, grinding her hips into his face, causing him to groan.
Her movements became erratic, her peak fast approaching.
Aemond buried himself further into her thighs, determined to make her cum all over his face.
And soon enough he felt her legs squeeze his head as she finally peaked.
âgodsâ she moaned, lying back.
Aemond smirked, look over her pleasure ridden face, âAm I forgiven now?â he asked teasingly, his own response was a slap on the arm, causing him to laugh.
He had left her rooms once her maid came to wake her, promising to return for breakfast. Where he once again brought her a bouquet of Azaleas.
Breakfast had passed quickly, and before she knew it she was making her way to the royal box for the first day of the tourney.
She had made a favour in hopes Aemond had meant what he said about entering the tourney and crowing her the queen of love and beauty.
She had chosen blue and white ribbon, she herself, though not the best with needle and thread, had embroidered dragons across the fabric, trying her bets to capture the likeness of Vaghar and Vermithor.
The Tourney was to be a three day affair. With men from throughput the realm filling the lists. The winners of each round would go against the other winners the following day, and on the third and final day the winner the winners would once again face one another until a victor was declared.
The first day was often long and uneventful. That was until it was Aemondâs round. He was pitted against his own brother Aegon.
Aemond had galloped into the arena, atop a white horse, his armour black and red, with the Targaryen crest carved across his chest.
Her rode up to the royal stands, Visenya sat front row with Heleana on one side and Belea then Rheana on her other. The rest of the family sat behind them, Deamon was not there however, having entered the tourney himself.
Aemond approached them, his horse stopping before Visenya, "my betrothed, I am sure to win this tourney with your favour".
She sent him a smile as she walked over to him placing her favour on his lance. âof course, I wish you luck, my princeâ
"I do not need luck, my sapphire, not with your favourâ
Visenya knew of Aemond skill, and Aegonâs lack thereof. He did not need skill for this joust, but for tomorrow he would.
He charged at Aegon, and though they both new Aegon cared not for the tourney, having been forced to entre by Alicent once she heard of Aemondâs entry, he was not expecting Aegon to try, and yet it seemed he was. As Aegon charged at him, aiming for his torso.
Their lances clashed one anotherâs as Aemond was forced to bend back to avoid being hit, and direct his own lance at his brother his lance flung to the side, Aemondâs grip was weak, but stayed he manged to stay in place.
They circled back, charging each other once more , this time Aemondâs lace, aimed under the horses head, causing the horse fell back and Aegon to fall.
Defeated and unbothered Aegon simply lay there, waiting for his brother to drag him up, laughing at his loss.
Aemond continued to win, having been victorious against Loren Lannister and Damion Veleryon as well as many aspiring knights. He eventually found himself in the final round, the last day of the tourney. And his opponent, Creagan Stark.
Aemond was fuelled with jealousy.
He had heard Visneya cheering for Cregan, her compliments of his skill and her teasing on how he would surely crown her if Aemond was not victorious.
Aemond had charged at Cregan, and Cregan, never one to back down from a challenge only acted with the same force as he did.
They were both thrown from their horses, before calling for their swords and declaring one on one combat.
The arena held a bated breath as the pair faced off.
Unlike when Visenya had spared with Aemond their was no circling, not waiting for the other to make a move. Instead Aemond simply attacked. His movements were fast and relentless, but Cregan was undeterred, easily defending himself against Aemondâs strikes.
In fact it was Cregan who disarmed Aemond, knocking him to the floor.
But Aemond did not accept defeat, pouncing on Cregan landing punch after punch.
With Cregan pinned, it was declared Aemond to be the winner, though it took the guards dragging Aemond away to stop the fighting.
He smirked as he once again took to his horse, grabbing the crown of love and beauty and riding up to Visneya, crowing her and pulling her down for a kiss in front of the crowds.
âyou were a bit brutal, where you not?â she whispered as they broke apart, looking over to Cregan, who despite the broken nose seemed fine, and unbothered with his loss. In fact he had even joined the cords in the cheers. Â
Aemond looked over to Cregan, shrugging âhe seems fine to meâ
She laughed, moving back to sit back in her seat.
