OKAY NOW ILL EXPLAIN THE CROSSOVER AU.

okay so reading those you can probably guess where im going with this. how i interpret postgame audrey redheart is Distressingly similar to what is. effectively an actual god of pure hatred now. i dont know How a crossover au would work. i dont know How audrey would get zooped into odioersted's hell dimension but im also thinking that fighting a man who is Scarily similar to what she could become could be. exactly the type of nudge that she'd actually listen to. for good or bad.

see like. they're both villainous paragons. this is my favorite archetype. they both did Nothing wrong, both oersted and audrey were just playing their part in what is effectively Their story. but the hero's outcome they were promised was unfairly stolen from them. both were betrayed by the very people they were fighting for. of course audrey's case wasn't nearly as drastic as odio's all around, so of course it makes sense that audrey would be kind of just stuck in Stewing In It while odio took that step to abandon the world entirely. odio's like. a step above in the same deal audrey has yknow.

an important note abt odio is that in his Hate God Dimension the dominion of hate, he's kind of omniscient or at least knows every mc's backstory and Consistently cheapshots them into relating to his, save for the fact that they Won their just reward and he didn't. his connections here are Mostly flimsy and don't work at really convincing anyone but im just thinking... those cheapshots would be Scarily effective if this was audrey pitted up against him. the way i Expect this to go is for audrey to Panic and have a Hero moment of "i'm nothing like you!!" while gearing up to fight. but she knows she is and she hates to admit that shes Scared of the fact that she is.

now the thing is. i know she would lose. she would get her absolute Ass kicked. audrey's fought gods before but only 2 of them put up a fight and odio is. a lot. he has 10 forms you have to fight before you get to the end im willing to say hes probably more powerful than an overseer. also i think she should get kicked around more. but also even if she wins i think itd be interesting?? audrey doesnt take losing well and i assume that losing to what is Her But Way Worse would. sting. but also if she did win we'd also get another fun fun possibility because when you defeat odio the first time he. asks you to kill him.

would audrey do that??? my first thought is no. she's a jerk but not Evil. she wouldn't Kill someone in her way, the worst she does in game are Shitty Person things not villain things. but like. would she?? would she resonate with him and do it in more of a "put him out of his misery" way. she's not a stranger to killing gods after all and all of them did have good reason and this one's no exception but it still feels like. a lot. now in game if you say no you go through A Bunch more boss fights and eventually break oersted free from his battle from the inside with his own hate so. okay ive got three outcomes of how Audrey Fights Odio could work basically

1: audy loses - so. i do think audrey would lose. but i Do Not think that odio would do what he normally does upon winning (explode the fucking world. he does that.) this time. he also sees himself in her, its not just one-sided. i think odio would try to win audrey over and while i kind of think this is unrealistic, i feel like it might be possible that it works. i'll admit i mostly just want this because actually evil audrey is still a cool concept despite me fundamentally disliking it but. being given an Example of how badly the world can screw you over and being given nothing really against it. i think its at least a Possibility that odio offers her a hand into the darkness and she takes it. maybe she ends up the next lord of dark. maybe she goes back to the ws verse and becomes an eternal overseer herself. idk. it's a Bad outcome either way. also excuse me for being cringe but half of this interp was taken from me listening to some avenged sevenfold in a 2 am haze and thinking shepherd of fire really fit.

an Optional other route to this is despite audrey losing, ending up being able to talk it out with odio instead. which feels weird but fighting a guy with The Same Issues As You may actually help with the self actualization. also i think it'd be really interesting to have audrey's final boss fight be won with the power of Talking It Out, something she's explicitly avoided, to symbolize that she might be able to fix her shit after all. though i think odio would let her speak i. do not think he'd listen to her. probably take it the same way he takes the canon protags' refusal of his reasoning (violently)

2: audy wins and? kills a brit?

i dont LIKE to think that this is viable because i dont LIKE painting audrey as someone who would kill a whole ass person but i think this'd be the one that Sticks With Her the most. i will say that she doesn't do this in cold blood though. i said this but i think if she did kill him it'd be a putting him out of his misery type deal. but in that way i think that'd mean she'd take his words more to heart by having it so. unresolved i guess. maybe a little bit haunted. again this could go either way, she could take her experience as a lesson in why she Should turn her back on the world or she could take it as a step in her realizing the resentment she holds is Dangerous and needs to change some things, but either way it wont be like. resolved. just like in canon. she'll be haunted even if she does improve out of it.

3: audy wins and does Not kill a brit

this one basically goes like canon. I assume in route 2 she'd take a lot longer to work through All That but if she does win here in 3 i hope that she'd like. be good enough to point out to oersted how he reminds her of herself yknow. after breaking oersted free from his hate usually its just the mc lecturing him but i think audrey would end up just sitting with him for a bit and Talking. again with the "i think it'd be neat to have audrey's final boss be defeated with the power of talking it out to show that she Can change she just needs to be scared shitless first". i cant articulate this very well you can tell its starting to get late but. i dont think audrey would admit Exactly that he helped her realize that the way she was going was Dangerous but. maybe its sappy of me but i want to think that she'd thank him.

grabs you grabs you grabs y. okay so i dont know if. anyone save for 7 and casey hi 7 and casey. i dont know if any of you guys know both of their deals. more of you know audy than odio. im working on a slideshow for that. but ill put a basis here under a readmore for Major both wandersong and live a live spoilers. if you do not care about the background do not read this part its all just me explaining backstories.

okay so!! to make things short, odio mclivealive was once a Protagonisty Jrpg Hero named oersted set on a Jrpg Quest to save a princess from a big bad dragon the Lord Of Dark but things go badly. the first time he goes to the dragon's lair two of his party dies (his childhood friend and his Implied Hero) and for Completely Nothing, not even the dragon was more than an illusion. from there oersted accidentally kills the king via Being Illusioned Again into thinking that he's the Lord Of Dark and pretty much the entire populace turning against him calling Him the Lord Of Dark^tm instead. from there he tries to go back and find the princess to clear his name but all he finds is Betrayal as he finds the childhood friend at the top of the Evil Dragon Lair that he thought he lost earlier. but no actually hes just jealous of oersted being a Protagonisty Hero and never feeling Loss or whatever. they end up fighting and oersted ends up having to kill his best friend, only for the princess to finally show up out of the shadows and Promptly Stab Herself In The Fucking Heart because while she was Waiting And Praying for oersted to come save her, when he finally did it was only to kill the man she Really loved and call himself a hero for it. so at least if she killed herself he couldnt take her from him too.

i love shakespeare. anyway from here the silent protag oersted, alone at the top of a Big Bad Dragon Lair and faced with the people he cared about all dead at his feet for what they Say is his fault finally speaks up. hadn't he done everything that was asked of him? what could he have possibly done differently? not be the hero everyone wanted him to be? oersted was promised a hero's ending, yet it all turned on him for nothing he possibly could have controlled. they call him demon, but at this point can he even deny it? so, at the top of this Peak Of Hate, he steels his heart and becomes the monster the people he was fighting for wanted him to be, taking the throne of a long-dead god to become Odio, the Lord Of Dark. then he goes and commits atrocities. im not going to get into that but its a joker arc and the next time we see him hes so evil and murdery i like out loud went holy shit oersted chill out. but he still holds the belief that hes the true hero this whole time right. all i really wanted to say is that hes a villainous paragon who went too far off the deep end.

this is also to say that audrey's not nearly as bad as him! also that explanation was long so im gonna try to explain audy a bit more succinctly.

audrey redheart is from any perspective that isnt wandersong, the main character. she was chosen for a quest by what is Effectively An Angel for actual literal god to go kill some other mini-gods, in a ritual to end the world so god can start it over again. this'd be fine if the actual main character of the game, the bard, wasn't getting in her way and trying to find a different way to Save the world which almost everyone knows at this point is a wild goose chase. but they KEEP. GOING. audrey was given her destiny on a silver platter, this is Her story. she's only doing what's right but even at a point the angel who picked her starts to cheer for the bard instead! all she wants to do is be the hero, there's no reason to assume she's anything different, but just from the Way The Game Is, she's the villain and it's not fair. what's worse is that she Does actually accomplish her goal. she manages to kill the last overseer even despite the mcs defending them, and Does end the world. not really though. at the last possible second, the bard makes a desperate plea with the power of singing and friendship or whatever that Does actually manage to make the god rethink destroying the world.

despite all her efforts, despite doing Everything right, the bard managed to save the world. they managed to steal Her story. i am actually emo about this part but from audreys perspective its Crushing because this effectively means that even the god who gave her this purpose in the first place left her behind. yeah. yeah. you don't see her postgame but my interp is that she kind of just. stews in it. she's far too proud to even admit the bard won but also can't just take their credit so she's just in a fun echo chamber of resentment. i dont think she really Goes anywhere with it for good or for bad without a nudge but i also assume she'd actively avoid almost anyone who Could give her a nudge. yknow? yknow.

If the narrative (didn’t) what are used to hold the scene with culpable

The tension should come from the fact That Asoka isn’t aware of the danger she’s in

That is the tragedy of child soldiers

(They are by very definition glass tanks)

If you want to write an adult, write an adult

For children it’s unrealistic and bad writing

As a child they shouldn’t have any preferences besides eating and sleeping on un-interrupted

As an adult that would be a good study of how assumed authority and toxic behavior (Such as enabling) leads to a worser quality life (Ahsoka’s preferences and dislikes; no longer a concern,)

With the feeling of instability toxic peers bring

(Small goal; why cutting toxic peers, out of our life, and society, is a good idea, a necessary to prevent society from becoming an unstable mess)

However here it is nothing due to the story’s refusal to commit

And instead creating a non-human abomination of a main character, that sucks all the tension and stakes from the story like an on branded Mary Sue straight from Fanfiction

I hope the writers are proud to know they wrote such an abomination of a character

That it ruins any semi-decent plot they have written

And their decision to irresponsibly inflicted on the world are not unnoted

Though I do hope to forget this character as soon as possible

And that it’s existence will be lost to time and space

And not inflicted on the future generations

(And hopefully not many more people from this generation either*)

And even as enablers - of a terrible military complex -( of toxic behaviors) you can’t help but feel - despite this being on making up their own creation - that it’s still too cruel for a human being (or sentient) and that accountability will be a blessing for them, where their hurt to themselves and everyone around them will be lesser

But that isn’t the case
