Here I am. I hope I’ll not write an essay but let’s see. Bare with me because I didn’t had a rewatch and don’t hang me because you don’t agree with what I’m about to say. As I’ve been watching the episode it made it clear that jun has feelings for po. I’ve realized it much earlier but this episode was the cherry on top in a positive way. There was a reason why thame wanted to pursue jun first to bring him back to the group because he knows him the best and vice versa. They might not know each other since childhood but were the first ones to enter the company and be a trainee. They are besties. And the way jun was first avoiding thame because he knew exactly he would hear the words which would make him step back to pursue po… jun knows how po feels about thame and i wanna think he also knew how thame feels about po but didn’t wanna hear the exact words because as soon as he heard those words he knew there is no chance for him. And the way they talked about this matter like top tier! I always say that thame is not a green flag but the whole green forest for me and the same goes for friendships. Thame was jealous but he didn’t forbid/told off (however you wanna call it) jun to pursue po because they saw po as a person and not as an object to own. People don’t own people and both of them knew. They let po decide (even if we knew who po would choose). They said our friendship is more important than to fight, our bond is stronger no matter how the outcome will be. Because again both knew if they would enter a different road, they would lose each other, lose the friendship they have, both realized that and that’s why I love this friendship and the healthy conversation so much. Jun sacrificed his feelings for po in order not to lose thame. As the saying goes ‘you can find love every time but to find true friends is rare’. 😭
#caddi watches#thamepo#I wanna think that even though jun knew about the feelings of thamepo. there was still this tiny hope in him that#maybe with the time goes po’s feelings might have changed but the fact he stepped back 1. he knew there is no chance 2. he didn’t wanna los#his best friend in the process of ‘fighting’. because in the end he chose friendship over love 🥺#aaaaaahhhh this show really… 😭#giving me so much feelings#zey rants

any hc about po with dementia
or if crane finds that po is depressed/suicidal (prane is cool too)
This is yet another ask I stalled on cuz I wanted to write a short skit for the dementia part I hate laziness (but tbh it's probably cuz I'm not a part of this fandom anymore still tho) either way am sorry for the really long wait anon 😣 *cutely ignores the "or" and does both prompts*
Dementia!Po
Typically develops due to old age/failing health, but in this case, it would make a little bit more sense for it to be a result of a bad head injury.
Fights can get rough, especially when you're dealing with a more powerful enemy, so, the enemy was fighting dirty, and did not show any mercy to Po.
The fight that is happening, would resemble the one that happened in s2ep7-8 of legends of awesomeness (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you're gonna have to look it up, I would rather not spoil in case someone who hasn't seen it is reading this)
I guess, because of his chi, he recovers a bit faster than a regular kung fu master, but he's still in bad shape
He's quite confused and disoriented, in which Shifu and the Five dismiss as a result of having engaged in a hard battle, not yet knowing the severity of the situation yet
They do recognize that he hit his head really hard, and take him back, and have a medical professional come over to check on him
As time passes, Po first starts to forget what he's talking about, and often stutters trying to remember what he was saying
Then he starts to forget how to do kung fu, and all the valuable things he has learned as Dragon Warrior
Then he starts to forget everything that's led up to him being in the Jade Palace.. is that the name? He's losing his memories.
The hardest part, is not forgetting about himself (last stage), but forgetting the people around him. His friends and family, he can't place a name to them, and it's like, he knows, but doesn't have the knowledge of them.
The gang tries to help him remember, by reminding him of his signature moves, giving him his favorite foods, even having him let the day off and have him do the things he likes, but it's not working
Even when they remind him of who they are, and what he'd call them if he was, well, himself, Po doesn't know who the people talking to him are.
For example, Monkey would tell him, "Hey.. remember me? Monkey? Your best pal? We'd pull pranks on the others a lot..." and his heart sinks when Po just looks back at him, with confused and dull eyes, he doesn't remember.
This is even worse than if he had died during the fight. At least they don't have to watch him lose somebody they knew so we'll, become someone they don't know at all.
It's frustrating for Po himself too, because, in the early stages, he knew that he recognizes, but he just.. he just cant.
Depressed/Suicidal!Po
Po isn't too good at hiding his feelings, especially if he's really feeling it hard, so it's kind of a stick out to the others something is up with him.
If I ever said anything otherwise about that uhmm no I didn't (I'm glad I'm watching Legends of Awesomeness and eventually paws of destiny because I had seriously forgotten people's character...)
A lot of the signs that Po is showing of depression, Crane notices easily, since he's struggling a little with some mental problems as well
He isn't sure if he wants to confront him about it or not, because he's nervous Po might get mad at him for getting involved in his business, after some thought, he decides, it doesn't hurt to ask...
It's night time, and Crane goes to Po's room to ask what is up with him.
Po gives him a look, and he's like, ".......what are you talking about?" He's not unhappy that Crane asked, he's scared that somebody knows about it, like, uhm, what, he'd been hiding it quite well but it got through?
Crane freaks, dang it, should have known this would happen, he rapidly starts to apologize he's like "aaah I'm sorry I'll leave, I didn't mean to bother you, I won't tell anybody I promise I wont-"
Po sighs, shakes his head, he can trust Crane.. he lets him in his room, and takes a deep breath, and says to him, "Okay, I'll tell you, but promise you won't tell Shifu or the others...?" And Crane promises, he will keep it a secret.
So Po tells Crane how he's been feeling lately, and some of the stuff he says, hits Crane directly in the heart, because he knows exactly how he feels. This is not about him, however, this is about Po.
Crane tries his best to comfort Po, and give him advice, worried that he might have accidentally said something that would make Po feel even worse
Well, Po is just happy to have somebody listen to him, and he's glad that Crane is here to talk to him about it, and didn't ridicule him about it (which is why he was scared at first, he thought he would get made fun of)
He thanks Crane for his time, Crane lets him know, he's not alone in this, there's always someone to help.
If Po is feeling suicidal, he probably had cut himself a little, and it'll take more than some talk for Crane to help Po feel better, and some extra steps to let him know, he's not alone, and people care.
I don't ship Prane (tbh I'm not really that huge of a shipper anymore, ships are cool and all but I prefer individual character content) but for the people that do here's some stuff for you guys
Crane immediately notices something is wrong, and wants to talk to him, worried.
Po's thoughts mainly include, what if Crane doesn't actually love me, and he only dates me cuz he feels sorry for me, he's feeling rather insecure as well as depressed and suicidal.
He thinks that he's being a waste of Crane's time, he should go date somebody else that's actually worth it.
Crane emphasizes the fact, he loves him, and him only, pulls him into an embrace, maybe a kiss as well, he has nothing to worry about.
He loves him for the way he is, and there's nothing he needs to change about himself.

Jeremiah 51:54-52:34, Titus 3:1-15, Psalms 100:1-5, Proverbs 26:18-19
Today is the 28th day of October welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian as I have been every day since we started this. So, if this is your first day then…good to meet you, welcome aboard. We are on this journey and we’re well on this journey as we continue our journey through the Bible this year. So, let's get to that. We’re reading from the English Standard Version this week. Jeremiah chapter 51 verse 54 through 52 verse 34 today.
Commentary:
Okay. So, in the letter to Titus today we find these words, they’re characteristics, they’re like descriptors of the life of faith. “Be submissive to rulers and authorities. Be obedient. Be ready for every good work. Speak evil of no one. Avoid quarreling. Be gentle. Show perfect courtesy toward all people.” Okay are you seeing that all around you right now? Like if you turn on the news are you seeing that? If you just look around, are you seeing that? If you go online onto social media are you seeing that? The answer would be no, that you're probably not. And I'm not. I’m kind of…kind of witnessing the opposite of that most of the time. Maybe the better question though is, “am I being this way I? Am I speaking evil of no one? Am I avoiding quarreling? Am I being gentle? Am I showing perfect courtesy toward everyone? Am I ready to do every good work? Or am I just participating in adding to the chaos and the noise that is deafening?” These characteristics, this little list in the letter to Titus, these things are supposed to be an outgrowth of the fact that Christ has come and redeemed us. I just continue to quote from the letter. “We ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another”, which is pretty much what we see all around us a lot of the time. But the letter goes on. “When the goodness and the loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of things we did, but because He was merciful”, right? And that is the basic hope of the gospel. And once again we see these contrasts, where it’s like, “that's supposed to do something.” Lile when you believe, when you enter into the journey of faith, when the intimacy of God draws near, that's supposed to irreversibly change us. And when we are irreversibly changed, then the things that we once did are…well…they’re changed and we reflect this gratitude that goes so deep that it permeates everything about us so that we walk around in a state of grace, a state of gratitude that spills out from us and affects the way that we interact and behave toward other people because we realize how lucky we are, like how fortunate that the intimacy of God has drawn near, that God has come near and rescued us transforming us the by day step-by-step. We are not who we once were. And, so, our lives should reflect that. These are such good words for the times that we are in right now when divisiveness seems to be like the game we’re playing.
And then we’ve got the Proverb. I mean yesterday the proverb gives us this one sentence about meddling and about dog ears and today like we get this other visual, this one sentence, “like a madman.” So, let’s just picture that, a crazy person “who throws firebrands, arrows and death.” Okay, so a crazy person with lethal intent. Are we on the same page? The kind of person we don't exactly want to encounter unaware. That kind of person is the man who deceives his neighbor and then says, “I was joking.” In other words, “I said it, but I didn't mean. It was a joke. What's the big deal? What's wrong with you? Can't you take a joke? In other words, the person who actually who really wanted to hurt you with the words like firebrands and arrows, and then when confronted is just like, “oh that was just a joke. I didn’t mean that.” You may know people like that. You may be a person like that. If you know, people like that or if you're on the receiving end of that it really can…it can make you question whether your all their, like are you going crazy? Because it's like you have thin skin and you just keep getting wounded and hurt and you keep thinking, “you're…but you’re trying to hurt me. Like I know that you’re trying…you’re using these words to hurt me but then you’re saying like it's just a joke and it's not just a joke.” But there's no way to like, confront that. It’s like he said she said. And, so, you're in your head going crazy like, “I know that was meant…I know that was meant to hurt me.” And we’re seeing all kinds of name-calling and all kinds of sidestep little joking things…like all kinds of stuff going on in the world around us. We’re seeing this kind of stuff. It's like a crazy person with lethal intent. Those are…that’s a good ancient description that feels very, very accurate. So, you know, if you’ve been on the receiving end of that, then it's being called out in the Bible. It's being named for what it is in the Bible and you should take heart that you’re not actually going crazy here. You…you have the behavior of an arrow toting firebrand wielding vicious crazy person and that's what's going on. But this could also be a mirror and you could realize, “I do that. Why do I do that? Like, why am I like that? What is going on here?” Well then you…you've got a visual that might make it stark, what's actually happening. It's like a crazy person with lethal intent who just wants to sidestep, like wants to do the damage then step away and go like, “I don’t know what…I don’t know what happened. I don't know why you’re all bloody. I was just…I was…it was just a joke. I don’t know why you’re crying here. It was just…I was just kidding.” Yeah, we've examined some things today. These are kind of deep things from Titus and Proverbs because these are connected to deep motivations and deep brokenness and wounding. Like, this is bringing up a lot if we’ll take the time to examine it and explains a lot when we look around us and kind of see the same thing going on in the world. And, so, let's heed the Scriptures and come into alignment with what things are supposed to look like because we are so grateful to even be here at all. The fact that we’re gonna draw the next breath is the evidence of God's life-giving force within us. We’re gonna exhale and it’s gonna be a step of faith, believing that the next breath is coming. We should be grateful to be breathing. If we could just start there and realize “I’m alive!” And maybe life is looking like I want it to look but if I stop comparing my life, if I stop listening to the noise and chaos and fighting and divisiveness, of I just got to the baseline, “grateful to be here” place well then some things could change. We could start spreading the evidence of our transformation into the world, which is the point. We're the body. We're the city on a hill. We're the salt of the earth. We have a role to play in preserving the whole thing, which is what salt does. So, I guess fundamentally from our reading today we can examine ourselves and look at the repercussions of our lives, the implications of us being here. Are we filled with gratitude and want to bring good channeling the kingdom of heaven into this world on earth as it is in heaven or are we just adding to the annoyance?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, well up from within us. These are deep things. And the answer is that we…we try…we don't do it on purpose, but we…we try to live in both of those spaces sometimes being so deeply grateful that Your love just pours out of us, but the next day it could be the opposite of that and we’re walking in the darkness and we’re perpetuating the darkness. And that shouldn't be. That’s a divided heart, that’s a double mind. And the Scriptures tell us that's basically not going to end well or go anywhere. And, so, we need an undivided heart and we need the renewal of our minds. In fact, we need more than that. We need the mind of Christ to navigate this world. And it's available. It’s not hidden It's everywhere. We’re just not paying attention. We’re not slowing down and observing ourselves to any degree and seeing the implications of our lives. But we’re here at this moment kind of examining, “what am I bringing? What am I birthing? What am I giving? What is happening in this world because I'm here? Is it good or is it evil? Holy Spirit, we want it to be good…good. We want to be mature representatives and ambassadors for Your kingdom upon this earth and we’re gonna need Your help. And we’re gonna need Your help a lot right now. So, come. We become aware of You. We surrender to You. We humble ourselves and ask for Your guidance and we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

It hurts.
Ithurtsithurtsithurts.
Atsushi can’t stop screaming through the pain. His whole body is on fire, and he can’t escape it. He barely hears Akutagawa shouting at him, asking him what’s wrong. He barely notices when his face is shoved into the bed, when Akutagawa climbs on his back and holds him down.
He knew what this was, didn’t he? Before his entire world was flames, was embers, was pain? What had he known? What does he know?
No. 6, a part of his brain offers, one that isn’t as affected by the pain, one he used to use as a detective. You saw this in No. 6.
The wasp on the back of the neck. The corpse that was too shriveled and old to match the only person it could be.
“Hold still.”
Atsushi clenches his hands into the sheets, gripping them for dear life.
“Good.”
A cold line cuts into the back of Atsushi’s neck, but he doesn’t scream again. He bites hard on the blanket, gritting his teeth as Akutagawa reaches under his skin and pulls, and when he lets go, the pain finally stops.
Atsushi’s muscles go limp, exhausted from the panic, strung out and finished. He vaguely hears Akutagawa ask once again what this is, but he doesn’t have the ability to answer. He’s just so tired.
So tired, in fact, that he doesn’t even flinch when the door bangs open and Gin returns with Dazai and Chuuya. He does, however, hear Dazai accuse Akutagawa of somehow doing this to Atsushi, and despite their differences, Atsushi will not allow Akutagawa to answer for something he didn’t do.
“Saved me,” Atsushi mumbles, trying to force it out through numb lips. “He saved me.”
Atsushi passes out so completely after that he doesn’t even feel Akutagawa climb off his back.
***
The next time Atsushi wakes, it’s to a furious burning in his throat. He needs water. He needs water, throat so dry it might tear just from swallowing. He stumbles to his feet, blanket sliding off his shoulders, and realizes that he’s still on the bed.
Gin is stretched out on the couch, fast asleep, but there’s no sign of Akutagawa anywhere. Atsushi doesn’t have much time to worry about that, though. He has to find water.
Atsushi walks on unsteady feet towards the door, rubbing at the bandages wrapping his throat, but a flash of white in the corner of his eye stops him. He slowly creeps towards the cracked mirror hung on the wall, and reels back in shock.
His hair is shocked white, only one streak in the front remaining of the color it had once been. Starting under his left eye, a pink line like a scar starts, and Atsushi can see a peak of it by his collar where it must wrap around the back of his neck before it dips under his shirt.
Exhaustion and thirst forgotten, Atsushi rips the bandages off, his shirt right behind, trying to track the line down his body. It cuts across his stomach, uncomfortably close to the scars he still carries on his ribs, the ones he can’t touch, can barely look at without feeling bile rise in his stomach, and continues under the edge of his pants. Atsushi wrenches them down, trips getting his left leg out when he realizes the scar wraps itself around his thigh once and then around and around his calf and ankle.
Finally, bare but for his underwear, Atsushi takes in his appearance and tries to convince himself this is a dream.
His hair is white now, practically glowing in the darkness. The scar – is it a scar? It doesn’t hurt, but what else could mark his skin like this? – twists down his body, doubling back on itself around his shoulder blade, coiling a death grip around his leg. The only thing that remains is his eyes, still purple and gold and just as inhuman as they’ve always been. Now the rest of him matches. Atsushi barely looks like a real person anymore. He crumples to his knees, scar resting at odd angles with itself.
Atsushi has never been vain. It’s never been something he could afford, not with the scars the orphanage left littering his body, not with his scrawny frame from years of hunger, not with eyes that had made everyone call him freak and sometimes monster growing up, but even still, to change so drastically in the blink of an eye, to have to alter the very image of himself he holds in his mind all at once…
He can’t breathe.
“This is why I can’t stand you, you know.”
Of course, of course Akutagawa is here now. Atsushi glares up at him from the floor, wrapping his arms around himself like he might be able to protect himself from Akutagawa’s harsh, cold gaze.
“You’ve got this bleeding fucking heart and nothing to back it up,” Akutagawa continues. “That’s not something you can survive with. It’s going to get you killed, and the only reason it hasn’t yet is because people have always protected you. But this is a world where only the strong survive. You’re weak. You’ll always be weak.”
The thing is, Akutagawa’s right. Atsushi isn’t brave, not really. Sometimes it’s more like he’s just too stupid for his own good, too reckless, too quick to act and too slow to think. Sometimes, he sees someone who needs his help, or a question he can’t keep on his tongue, and he pursues before he can consider all the reasons he really shouldn’t. That’s not bravery, but it is all Atsushi has, sometimes.
Atsushi is a creature of anxieties. Maybe it’s inevitable from the way he grew up, or maybe it’s something that just lives inside him regardless of his circumstances. His whole life has been a series of repressing them, a deep hole of fears bitten back and shoved down, bitten back and shoved down, stifled until it kills him. And then a tiger roars free.
“Fuck. You,” Atsushi snarls, picking himself up, standing on his own two feet to face Akutagawa down.
“You’re growing a spine now?” Akutagawa scoffs. “I’m not interested in your theatrics now, Jinko-”
He cuts off with a cough when Atsushi shoves him against the wall, and Atsushi finally realizes two things.
One, Akutagawa might be taller now by an inch, but Atsushi outweighs him, because scrawny as he is, Akutagawa is still smaller, only the leanest of muscle covering sharp bones, and even though Atsushi doesn’t know how to fight in the slightest, if there are no weapons involved, if he fights Akutagawa for real, there’s a chance he could win.
Two, even if he can’t, it’s not actually going to stop him.
Atsushi gets one good punch in before Akutagawa even sees him coming, knocking his chin back so hard his head slams against the wall. Akutagawa snaps his eyes back forward, teeth bared and feral, and goes for Atsushi for real, nails like claws reaching for his face, and…
Atsushi’s back hits the ground hard where he’s been flung. Akutagawa hasn’t moved from the wall, because Gin is suddenly in his face, furious for having been woken up. Atsushi and Akutagawa both watch her with bated breath.
“Are you two serious?” she snaps. She points at Atsushi. “You’ve been in a coma for three days, and the first thing you do is start throwing punches? And you,” she continues, rounding on Akutagawa. “Stop picking fights! You got hit and it was your fault.”
“But he-!”
“He was-!”
“I do not care,” she growls. “Since neither of you can be trusted on your own, you’re both coming with me. And put some pants on.”
Atsushi bothers to feel a little bad about disturbing her. Even if Akutagawa deserves to get punched, Gin seems to really need her sleep, and he didn’t actually mean to wake her up.
Gin hauls them both up to Dazai and Chuuya’s door. It takes a few rounds of furious knocking, but none of them want to open the door without permission. Atsushi might not understand how Dazai and Chuuya’s relationship works, but he does know there’s a good chance of getting an eyeful of something he doesn’t want to see if they just barge in.
Chuuya finally answers the door, obviously blinking sleep out of his eyes.
“Nakajima’s awake,” Gin says. Chuuya just nods, waving them all inside.
The room Dazai and Chuuya share is smaller than the one next door, but without all the clutter, it also seems reasonably spacious for two people. Atsushi plunks himself down on the couch, and Gin very pointedly sits between him and Akutagawa. Akutagawa is still rubbing at his jaw, bruise blooming purple and red, and Atsushi is still feeling vindictive enough to think good in his general direction.
Chuuya sits on the other couch, facing them across a coffee table, and Dazai joins them, blanket around his shoulders covering his hastily-applied bandages.
“So, Nakajima,” Chuuya starts. “What the hell happened?”
It’s an obvious first question, but it’s not one Atsushi has quite considered until now. It takes him a minute to even gather his thoughts enough to answer.
“There was a wasp in the back of my neck,” Atsushi says. “Akutagawa cut it out before it killed me.”
“So it would have killed you?” Chuuya asks.
“How did you know it was a wasp?” Dazai asks, curiosity evident in his voice. “We couldn’t tell from the pupa. You haven’t even seen it, have you?”
“I haven’t seen this one,” Atsushi says, and though both siblings and Chuuya suck in breath at that, Dazai doesn’t look very surprised. He probably already calculated a few steps ahead. He’s probably even farther along than Atsushi. “We had a case back in No. 6. A woman died mysteriously. Her corpse was old and shriveled, but her ID showed she was a young woman. There was a dead wasp in the back of her collar. We thought it might have been some kind of weird allergic reaction at the time, but now…maybe it actually came out of her, and it got stuck in her collar.”
“So there are killer wasps now,” Dazai muses.
“What do you think?” Chuuya asks.
“More than you,” Dazai says.
“I’ll kill you.”
“I don’t know yet,” Dazai admits. “Even I need a minute to think things through, Chuuya.”
“Fine, go scheme it out,” Chuuya sighs. He promptly ignores Dazai to focus on Atsushi again. “Is this going to happen again?”
Atsushi doesn’t know the answer to that. He hopes not. He doesn’t think he can bear that level of pain again.
“Is he possibly immune now?” Gin suggests. “He looks different.”
“To parasitic wasps?” Chuuya asks. “I guess anything’s possible, but can you be immune to that?”
“This might only be a problem inside No. 6,” Akutagawa says. “We haven’t heard of anything like this happening, and Kyouka would have told us if she had. If it’s only happening inside No. 6, maybe it’s only affecting people there.”
“Nakajima is the only one who spent a lot of time there,” Gin agrees, clearly considering.
“It does have No. 6 written all over it,” Chuuya says, face gone dark. Atsushi wants to ask. Badly. He’s just scared enough of Chuuya still that he doesn’t.
“Then for now, we can say it’s not our problem,” Akutagawa says. “If Jinko’s the only one affected, and we already cut it out of him, we’re all safe.”
“What about everyone still in No. 6?” Atsushi asks.
“What about them?”
“They don’t all deserve to die!” Atsushi protests. “My dad’s still in there! My friends! What if this gets them next?”
“No. 6 deserves to come down,” Akutagawa says. “And besides, what do you expect us to do?”
“Maybe there’s a cure,” Atsushi says. “I survived. If we could get a message inside for what to do-”
“Unnecessarily risky,” Akutagawa cuts him off. “I’m not sticking my neck out for anyone in No. 6.”
“That’s enough for now,” Chuuya says before Atsushi can snap back. “It’s late, everyone’s tired. Get some sleep, and we can deal with it tomorrow.”
Akutagawa pulls Atsushi back before they go back inside their room. Gin throws them a dangerous look, but lets them go.
“That’s two you owe me,” Akutagawa says. “I’m not saving your life a third time.”
Atsushi doesn’t understand Akutagawa at all, doesn’t understand his view of life as a zero-sum game, only helping someone because it might benefit you, this bizarre system of owing and being owed. But at least he can understand the rules Akutagawa operates by.
“One.”
“What?”
“You saved me from No. 6 because I saved you when we were kids,” Atsushi says. “I only owe you one.”
Akutagawa blinks, eyes narrowing in anger.
“Thanks for saving me, for what it’s worth,” Atsushi says.
“Jinko-”
“My name is Atsushi.”
Akutagawa looks like he swallowed a lemon.
“Jinko,” Akutagawa says more emphatically. “Never thank me for that again. Not that I’ll ever give you the chance.”
They both return to the room, Akutagawa to his couch, Atsushi to the pile of blankets he’s been slowly collecting with Kyouka’s help to make the floor more comfortable. It’s an uneasy silence they fall into, but they’re both alive, and they both have enough to think about that they don’t go for each other’s throats again that night.

I was rear ended by someone two weeks ago, and the person did have a valid insurance card on site, but after I contacted her insurance company, i was told that her insurance had expired before the accident took place. I know that now I have to use my insurance company (uninsured motorist) to pay for the auto repair, and I have to pay Deductible (which is either $500 or $1000). I'd like to know, is it possible that I can get my deductible back from the other driver? or can my insurance company help me retrieve the money back? It's totally the other person's fault. Why should I pay for the cost?! By the way, the accident was in NJ. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Will my car insurance go up even more now?
Two weeks ago I rear ended a Ford F150. There was very little damage done to their truck, but my mazda protoge was declared totaled. Anyone know a good Home Insurance company in California?
We recently purchased a new home to use as a renter. Our real estate agent told us to purchase and insurance policy from Old Republic to cover anything that could be wrong with the house since it was built in the 80's. An inspector looked at the house prior to our purchase and didn't notice anything with the property. Once the house was occupied by our renter, he noticed that the lights would shut off and stay off for a few hours. Old republic sent an electrician over and he told us that the prior owner had replaced a new breaker on top of a broken buster. He reported back to old republic and they stated that the insurance didn't cover anything that was not installed correctly. We were precise to inform our agent of the policy we needed for the house. We were not sure what work the house had done prior to our purchase so that is why we purchased the insurance. The policy we had was Old Republic Home Warranty Plan. That is what our agent advised us to get. Now, what can we legally do to help cover our out of the pocket expense of over a grand. Is there a policy that anyone would recommend for a rental house. Let me add that we do have home owners insurance but it only covers fires, floods, etc. (Please no unnecessary comments, this is an important question and need real honest advise.) Thank you in advance to all who respond and hopefully this could help others who read it as well.""
Insurance wants to total my car?
We got rear ended couple of days ago, some bumper damage and chipped paint. According to the repair shop there is no internal or inside damage to it. Nether the less it would cost about $1000-1500 to fix it (bumper would be replaced). I have 1995 Toyota Corolla DX, and it drives great. I really love it, and didn't plan on getting rid of it. The garage is saying that once we submit the claim, chances are Very high that the insurance company would just total it, because the car is old and has 277.xxx miles on it. We wouldn't get a lot for it, not enough to buy another car for sure. And to drive it with the cracked/dented bumper I don't want either. What to do so insurance will not to total it? We just have done some work to it, and all that money would be wasted too! I'm so lost!!!""

Thanks.

Car insurance for teen drivers?
Hey everyone! First off, if you're wondering why I'm not using online quotes to see how much car insurance would cost, its because it requires personal information of both my parents that I can't ask for without sounding suspicious (my dad told me not to search since I asked before). Also, in order to get the auto insurance quote, you have to leave contact information so an agent can contact you and initiate your quote , which is something I don't want. I'm a newly licensed teen, got it around the middle of December 2013. I've had my permit for about 8 months before that. My dad told me to wait a bit before I can start driving since car insurance rates is higher for teen drivers, and I agreed. I was wondering how long I had to wait? My dad told me over 1 year to a few years, but sometimes 6 months works. I was baffled, if that was true, there was no point of getting my license since I would most likely be in college by the time I was allowed to be insured. Does car insurance rates really lower down with waiting time? And if so, approximately how long would it take? My auto insurance company is State Farm, and my family has 3 registered vehicles and 2 registered drivers of over 15 years (my parents). I'm 16 years old, and I qualify for the good student discount and steer clear safe driver discount, and my parents qualify for the multiple line discount car insurance and have never had any driving violation in the past three years. If you could estimate the range of how much more my parents have to pay for car insurance if I become insured on my car (which is older than me lol) without waiting, and how long I would have to wait for rates to go down, that would be great.""

Leviticus 7:28-9:6, Mark 3:31-4:25, Psalms 37:12-29, Proverbs 10:5
Today is the 19th day of February, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it's great to be here with you. Coming to you from Ashdod, ancient Philistine stronghold city here in the land of Israel where we will be launching out today on the first day of our pilgrimage. So, super excited about all of that, super excited to share the photos and video and just talk about what we’re seeing and doing as we begin our adventure. But…well…not a lot has happened yet, but we’ll talk about it at the end but we are at the beginning and we have come around this Global Campfire to allow God's word to wash into our lives and speak to us today. So, we’re reading from the New International Version this week. Leviticus chapter 7 verse 28 through 9 verse 6 today.
Commentary:
Okay, so, in the Gospel of Mark we had the story, a farmer went out to so, right, and he throws seed and it lands on all different kinds of ground and this is a parable that Jesus is telling and we've encountered this parable while we were going to the book of Matthew. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are this synoptic Gospels and so there's a lot of shared material and pretty much all biblical scholars agree that the source material would be Mark, the gospel that we are reading as the earliest of the Gospels. So, Jesus talks about this farmer throwing seed. And, so, we can assume that there's nothing wrong with seed, like the seed is good seed and it was scattered evenly but it was scattered evenly over different kinds of ground. So…so the seed is good, but the hope of the harvest was in the soil. So, in Jesus parable the seed is the word of God and the soil is the human heart. So, right there we see that a collaboration is required, the human and the divine collaborate in God's kingdom. So, we’ve been at this, what…seven…are we seven weeks in yet…six weeks…I don't have a calendar in front of me and I'm still…still trying to keep up with what day this is as we launch this pilgrimage in the land of Israel. But we've been at this, we've established a rhythm, this is a daily thing we do. So, at this point it's a good time to take in Jesus message and apply it to ourselves because harvest is a theme throughout the Scriptures and harvest is a theme throughout our lives and we want the harvest in our lives but we can't expect a harvest that is going to yield 100 times over if the soil of our hearts is…isn't appropriate for that. So, in this analogy the…the word of God, like this is what we do, this is what we’re here for every day. So, this seed is getting thrown out, the word of God all over this community every day and if it only lands on the surface it's gonna get snatched away almost immediately. And don't we know that? Like haven’t it we witnessed that. We might not have thought of it in these terms, but don't we already know this is true and if our hearts are stony and cold and hard there's nowhere for the word of God to take root at all. And if we’re just obsessed by the worries of life or we’re just chasing wealth or some kind of goal or desire, well then according to Jesus, the seed has been thrown and it's good seed but it's fallen on a thorny ground that will choke out the word of God. So, this is as good a time as any to start thinking about what kind of soil we might be and what kind of soil we might be cultivating in our hearts. It…it might be time to do some gardening.
Prayer:
Jesus, we invite You into that as we hear Your words and consider what kind of soil we are. This was what You wanted us to think about. And, so, we are thinking about it. And it's interesting because we can probably find patches of all these different kinds of ground as we walk the terrain of our own hearts. It's likely that we can find places that are thriving. But it's also likely that we can find places where the word has been snatched away or where it's rocky ground and there's no place for it to take hold or we’re…we’re just obsessed with something else and distracted and so it's choked out. What we want to be is good soil because what we want to experience is the full harvest and to be a laborer for the good harvest in the lives of others. And, so, we invite Your Holy Spirit to cause us to continually come back to this today, to come back to our own hearts, to come back to its terrain. What does it look like? Show us the places that need tending. Come Holy Spirit we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Announcements:
dailyaudiobible.com is the website, home base, where you find out what's going on around here. And today will be our first day of…of touring in the land of Israel. And I won’t really be able to report back much until things happen. So, I'll get to tell you about today tomorrow but yeah, I can tell you about yesterday. Yeah….we got in and we went mudding and went out to a Philistine archaeological site called Akron, a place that I've been trying to get to over three different seasons. And lots of people were like, “why would you want to go there? Like, there’s nothing to see there. Why would you want to go there?” But…well that started out simply by trying to document and a photograph and take film of the…the Philistine strongholds mentioned in the Bible except for Gaza. And, so, we got three of those which is Gath and Ashdod and Ashkelon out. But the last two are modern cities. So, accessibility is relatively easy. This has been hard to get to. So, yeah once we were thwarted it was like, okay it's on. And then we were thwarted again in a different year and it was like, okay I don't care if there's nothing to see there, I…I am going to see that place. And, so, finally mission accomplished and…and then so we got to Ashdod and got all situated in a hotel and had just a fantastic dinner last night just getting familiar, just getting to see each other. It's all gonna become a family and so just making that first acquaintance. Jetlagged everybody, you know, just people all over the map. Some have come in early, got acclimated, some are just like, just getting in and delirious with it all but high on adrenaline. But it's always fun to be there on the Mediterranean coast and just realize “holy moly I'm in the holy land. Like that's the Mediterranean Sea. This is going to be epic.” And, so, that's kind of where we are and what we’re feeling and we’ll be heading southward today out into the wilderness, which is where so much of the biblical stories happen. And, so, we’ll be heading into the wilderness today making our way down to the furthest southern tip of Israel, a city called Eilot, which sits on the shores of the Red Sea. So, thank you. Thank you for your continued prayers over everything from the vehicles to the technology to health to whether to…to jetlag and just everything that goes into this. We’ll be kind of setting a rhythm for our days and we’ll fall into that rhythm, but this is kind of day one. And, so, we’re just getting used to the fact that we’re here at all. And, so, we…we…we gratefully, gratefully thank you for your prayers.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Good morning DAB family it is Thursday February…no Wednesday, February 12th and I was walking to work, and I just heard the news about Diana. I just wanted to call in to tell her sons God is with you. Keep the faith. Your mom had enough faith for you both and she shared it with you, and she loved you and now she is healed and resting in God’s eternal heaven. So, Lord Jesus, I pray for these children and I pray that their mom’s wishes can be granted for them. This is Sadatres a.k.a. healing heart from Gaithersburg. All of you have a blessed and wonderful day.
Today is February 12th and this is Julie from Texas and I’m calling for Shannon from Texas. Your prayer was heard on the prayer line on February 1st I believe it was. It was one of the last prayers that was played. And I just want to call and stand with you in agreement for complete and total healing against whatever’s causing this attack of migraine that you’ve been experiencing. And, so, Lord I just thank you for touching Shannon’s body just removing stress removing any and every cause that would be coming against her for this migraine. We speak healing, complete and total healing over her body from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. And Shannon I would just encourage you to continue calling in and just plugging into the community with your petitions and prayers and just as well as your local communities not to pull away or isolate in that way of asking for prayer. And while we’re all on our own journey with God and our prayers might not be said perfectly or in an agreement or alignment with one person or the other, we’re still just making an impact together, holding each other’s arms and prayer. It’s just so important just that global community of prayer that we have here. There is power in that. And I’m reminded of Peter who while he had doubt, he was still the only one who stepped out of a boat and walked on water. And, so, I believe that’s what we’re doing here. Maybe our prayers aren’t said perfectly but they are impacting and changing, and we are standing together. So, continue calling in. I want to hear how Jaydrian is doing. I remember crying tears of joy when he gave his life to Christ and you shared that with us. And I know that he’s on his own journey as well and God is faithful to him and will accomplish everything that concerns him and can finish the good work that He started in Jaydrian’s life. So, call back in want to hear from you. Love you. Bye.
Good morning my name is Tatiana. I’ve been listening to DAB for about nine years and this is probably the second time I’ve called in. I…it’s February 12th and I was listening and I just heard Diana Davis sister call in and she said she went home and it just really hit hard for me because I just remember her calling in, her voice so enthusiastic and hopeful even in the days where she was battling her…her health issues. I’m just praying for her family and her sons and that they are comforted and at peace. And it’s just made me realize that some of the issues that we…like for me…that we take…take so…so hard it’s not really that big of a deal. There are people out here battling real issues and they’re going through loss and having health issues and they’re having issues with their family. And a lot of the things that we go through are so trivial to that and made me appreciate the time we have a family and the ones that we love. So, I’m just praying for her family. I hope they know she’s at peace, she’s healed, like her sister said. And I’m just sending up love and prayers for them. Amen.
This message goes out to my little sister who asked a question and is trying to see if anybody else goes through failure upon failure, climbing out of one bad situation just to get dumped into another one. To answer your question little sister, we all go through that. Everybody goes through that. Just a couple things I sensed listening to your message is, I’m hoping that a good night’s sleep has made you see a bit more clearly, has cleared your head a little bit. Also, stepping away from the…the problems, the situations and taking a break and not jumping back into it. That has helped me clear my head and renew my strength. And that’s…they that wait upon the Lord, that’s the verse. Just renewing strength by stepping away. Fighters go through that, pro athletes go through that, just step away it’ll help tremendously. The other thing is, it sounded you were like you are focused on the negative. And I have a trick that I use that I start thanking God for the negative and it refocuses my mind. I can start seeing the good in it and the blessing in it and where God is at. So, just try that. I love you sister. Hang in there you’ll bounce back awesomely. Bye now.
Hello, DABbers my name is Siv I’m calling you from Norway. I want to share a picture with you. I see this person walking, stumbling, falling, stumbling, falling, walking, stumbling, falling, full of bruises, full of wounds, full of hurts. So painful. And why? It’s because you are looking behind your shoulder all the time, it’s because of your past. You’re looking over your shoulder instead of looking in front of you. Fix your eyes on Jesus because your future is not your past. Your future is in Jesus. Your past is gone. Let go and let God. Let go and let God forgive. Forgive yourself, forgive other people that has hurt you and just fix your eyes on Jesus. Get free from your past. Learn from it but don’t live in it. I hope this gives sense to someone. Thank you, Brian for this wonderful podcast and all the great works you do and bless you on the way to Israel. I love Israel. That’s an awesome country. It’s like home for me. I’m going there soon myself. Bless you all. Bye-bye from the…
Hello Daily Audio Bible this is Janel I’m living in China. I called last from Alabama quite a while ago. Just want to thank everybody for the prayers that I got. I actually did make it to China and I’m here now and the corona virus is pretty real. Fortunately, I’m not sick and no one I know is sick that I know of, but it is creating a lot of restrictions on what we can do and how we can work. All of my classes are moving to online or messaging group classes. So, I am really missing out working with my kids and my students. So, if you could all just pray that the coronavirus is contained and significantly lessens and just basically dies out I would really appreciate it and I just thank you all for your prayers and thank you Brian for this amazing community and service that you provide. Bye.
Hello and good afternoon my brothers and sisters this is Harold from St. Louis the guy who’s running the marathon. And I was so touched. I listened to the January 31st community prayer podcast and there was a whole bunch of people just praying for me and my soul and blessing for me. That became so overpowering. And then my brother, Kingdom Seeker Daniel, you said you jumped for joy basically and screamed my name and that was so moving. And I thank every single one of you. There was a guy who even said it was written for me part of the kingdom before I even chose it. And I know I’m not paraphrasing it right. And I thank you and I thank everybody for all of your…all of your praise, all of your prayers all of your encouragement. And then there was the young lady from Glasgow, God’s Girl from Glasgow who said blessed is yours and I just broke down and I cried and then a couple messages later there was another young lady who brought me the prayer to Christ and I accepted and I prayed that prayer and I am in now part of the family of God. And I just want to say that your prayers were all herd and thank you everyone. And if there’s anybody out there right now who has listened to the show or listened to the podcast and has felt the need to call in and just said, “oh I’m too scared or I’m too embarrassed, break that chain right now. Don’t let the devil keep that chain anymore around you.

Ezekiel 39:1-40:27, James 2:18-3:18, Psalms 118:1-18, Proverbs 28:2
Today is the 19th day of November. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian. It's great to be here with you. In fact, there’s nowhere else I'd rather be than here with you now taking the next step forward in our journey through the Scriptures this year. And it won’t be long before we wrap up the book of Ezekiel, but we will still continue forward for the next few days. We’re reading from the New Living Translation this week. Ezekiel chapter 39 verse 1 through 40 verse 27.
Commentary:
Okay. So, James is here in our lives right now just pretty much kicking butt. I don't know if you're feeling that way, but I always feel that way reading the book of James because it's so direct, so concise, so clear. And, so, I mean basically, we've kind of passed through the middle of this letter and what James is trying to…to point out here is that, yes, indeed, absolutely, faith is where the story with God begins, absolutely and he even refers to Abraham in the same way that Paul did; however, James says, “once that story has begun, like yes, you have to reach out in faith and live and walk by faith but once that story is happening it's not…your faith isn't real if your life doesn't measure up to what you say.” In other words, your faith isn't faith if your actions do not describe the faith that you claim. Like faith isn't something you can just claim that you have as a possession and have put in a drawer or a closet and compartmentalized into a part of your life that is reserved largely for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. But that that faith goes back into the drawer and the you move back into your life and that faith doesn't inform the way you live and transform the way you see everything. According to James, our faith should change us utterly. It should be an influence over our thoughts and our words and our deeds in a way that irreversibly affects the way we move forward into life and through the world and in all of our interactions, otherwise it’s not really faith. And James drove that point home by saying, “just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.” So, obviously James is…well…I mean if the James that wrote this is the brother of Jesus then he is speaking very directly as the leader of the Jerusalem church. So, he may have been a very direct person but probably he’s being this direct because he doesn't want to be misunderstood at all. If we have faith but it’s not affecting the way we live and isn't transforming us then according to James, it's dead faith. And, so, James moves into a prime example of how this actually practically works. One of the ways that we actually put our faith into action is in the way that we monitor and steward what's coming out of our mouths. So, James likened our tongues to the bit in a horse's mouth or the…the rudder of a ship. So, it's a small thing that can steer something very large. Our tongues are a small thing hiding behind our teeth, but they steer the entire trajectory of our lives. Such a big deal that James said that we can burn our lives down all around us with our tongues. Ohhhh…yeah…I mean…so, we have all said things we would un-say in the moment and we’ve all said things that later on we regret having said. And then there are times that we…right…you just are burning your life down around you…you’ve just…you’ve started and it's just a scorched earth because all self-control is lost and the gloves are off and things are being said that shouldn't be said to another human being at all. So, fundamentally, James…James is saying that’s a problem, that's a big problem, but if we are willing to observe how dark our words can be and how they can bring darkness into a situation, if we’ll see that we can burn our lives down around us with our mouths and realize that then we also need to realize that the equal and corresponding good can come from that. Like we can use our words to bring light and life and good news in the same way that we can bring darkness. The odd thing is that we can do those two things, all on the same day even in the same hour even just minutes apart. James says, “sometimes the tongue praises our Lord and Father and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so, blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely my brothers and sisters this is not right.” So, since we realize there's a lot of power going on in this little member behind our teeth, that we have such power to bless and to curse, then maybe the first actionable step forward in putting our faith…like living the faith we claim would be in harnessing and controlling what we say because we all know what can happen when we don't. We can indeed be angels of mercy and stone-cold killer's with our tongues. And as James is telling us, that's not right. And if we could control our tongues like the rudder of a ship, the rest would follow, the rest of us would follow in body and in soul and set us on a path that will put our faith into action in everything we do, because what we’re learning from the book of James is…we can thing say anything but if what we’re saying does not line up with the way we’re living our lives then what we’re saying isn't true.
Prayer:
Father that's stark, that's…in some ways it might even see them confrontational or harsh, but we thank You for Your word. We thank You that through the power of Your Holy Spirit, it will look us in the face and confront us and on this particular issue most of us need to be confronted. And, so, Holy Spirit come into what we say, into what we claim, and into how we’re actually living that out. And as we’ve learned today there is no better place to begin looking for evidence of this transformational faith then in what we’re saying out of our mouths. So, we ask forgiveness for starters for using our mouths to worship You and to denigrate and diminish those You have created around us all on the same day. We acknowledge along with James, this isn’t right. And, so, we step into that because it's not right and it never will be right and it's causing damage because we’re trying to mix darkness and light at the same time into some kind of potion that’s supposed to transform us when it's doing nothing because we’re practicing a dead faith according to James. So…so…so we just let that be. We invite You into that. We invite You to convict us in the areas that we need to be convicted and to correct us in the areas that need to be corrected so that we might live our faith and so that it might transform us irreversibly so that we might reveal Your kingdom in this world. We ask this, we pray this, we humble ourselves and receive this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Announcements:
dailyaudiobible.com is the website, its home base, its where you find out what’s going on around here and it's how you stay tuned and stay connected. So, be sure to do exactly that in any way that you can, in any way that you will.
Some primary places to stay connected are the Prayer Wall and that can be found in the Community section of the website as well as all the different social media channels that we’re participating in at the Daily Audio Bible. So, you can find all those resources in the Community section.
In the Daily Audio Bible Shop you can find resources for the journey that we’re on including the God of Your Story, which…well I guess it's been about a month now since we’ve been talking about that. And now that we’re kind of moving ourselves into the holiday season I'll remind you that it is a…really, really is a fantastic resource to invite those that you love into the rhythm of life that is, you know, having the Bible in your life every day. A lot of times people will say, “I'm a reader. I just…I'll read it myself. I’ve found over the years that that's code for, “I’m not gonna do this.” But there are those who are. I'm a reader. And, so, the God of Your Story kind of offers in written form the rhythm that we experience here in the spoken realm each and every day. So, it makes for a fantastic companion to the Daily Audio Bible. It's the essence of the Daily Audio Bible, but it also creates an experience that is readable for those times that we’re disconnecting or disconnected from…from, you know, the Internet or…or we’re just trying to…to get into silence. It just makes for a great resource. So that's available in Daily Audio Bible Shop. As I have said that every time I’ve talked about…well…maybe not every time, but many times that I've talked about this, all of the proceeds from the sale of the God of your story from the Daily Audio Bible Shop, all of it is being sewn back into…into the ministry in keeping of the journey going every single day. So, check that out in the Daily Audio Bible Shop.
If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, you can do that at dailyaudiobible.com as well. There is a link and it lives on the homepage. And I thank you humbly and profoundly for your partnership as we approach the end of the year. If you’re using the Daily Audio Bible app, you can press the Give button in the upper right-hand corner of the app or the mailing address, if you prefer, is PO Box 1996 Spring Hill Tennessee 37174.
And, as always, if you have a prayer request or comment you can hit the Hotline button in the app, the little red button at the top or you can dial 877-942-4253.
And that is it for today. I’m Brian I love you and I'll be waiting for you here tomorrow.

Genesis 46:1-47:31, Matthew 15:1-28, Psalms 19:1-14, Proverbs 4:14-19
Today is the 23rd day of January. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian and it's great to be here with you today as we continue forward and take the next step in our adventure that we have embarked on as a community to take one step a day every day for a whole year and read the entire Bible. So, we’re reading from the English Standard Version this week and we are rounding the corner and, you know, in a few days we’ll finish the first book of the Bible, which is the book of Genesis. We’re not quite there, we have a few days to go, but we are also rounding the corner on this Joseph story that we've been tracking for a while and what a drama it is so. So, Joseph, you know, Jacob, Joseph's father has now discovered that Joseph, in fact, isn't dead and all the grief that he's had for all of those years mourning him may turn into joy. And, so, we’ll pick the story up. Genesis chapter 46 and 47 today and we’re reading from the English Standard Version. Sid I already say that? I don’t know. We’re reading from the English Standard Version this week.
Commentary:
Okay. So, we’re beginning to see the antagonism between Jesus and the religious establishment and we kind of know where this story goes. The religious establishment is gonna do everything they can to ill Jesus in the end and in the end they’ll succeed. So, in today’s reading, the religious establishment is questioning why Jesus does the things that He does and why He does them the way that Ge does them because He is breaking the religious traditions. And Jesus pushes back by simply exposing the fact that they also break their own religious traditions. What he's trying to do is help them understand their religious traditions and what they have made of the law is not what it was intended to be. And, of course, this calls into question all kinds of things, you know, what the religion is about, how God will feel about these changes, how to control the population and keep them devout. Like, all kinds of things begin to come up and it's antagonizing because what Jesus is talking about is deconstruction. Ironically, the kind of antagonism that Jesus faced with the Pharisees early in his ministry, you have to wonder if He wouldn't be in just as much trouble if He came here today speaking the same message to Christians. I know that sounds odd but at the end of Jesus confrontation today He said it all, “for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God. You hypocrites. Well did Isaiah prophesy of you when he said this, this people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Okay, Jesus spoke this 2000 years ago when He was speaking of a prophecy that was like 700 years older than that. So, this has been going on a long time and it's still going on. And I'm a product of the church, right? I grew up in the church, the son of a pastor. I have been in ministry a long time. Like, if there's something that I do understand I think it's…it’s the ways of the church and it's been an interesting journey for me over the course of 14 years reading the Bible every day. And looking at stuff that Jesus is saying and then going back in the context of why they're mad at him and realizing that we’re repeating the same cycle in so many ways, right? So, for example, what is the message of the gospel? If like…if we were…if we were to articulate what the message of the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ is, we would say, “it doesn't matter where you’ve been, it doesn't matter what you've done, it doesn't matter what has brought you to this point, if you will believe and accept Jesus as your Savior, your sins, all of them, no matter what they are, no matter what they have ever been, they will be washed away and you will be clean and God's mercy will overshadow you and you will be born into the family of God and become a part of the body of Christ, brothers and sisters all over the world.” Right? So, that’s what we would say and that is what we believe. That is absolutely the truth. Ironically, that grace, that hovers over you in the pitch, right, to accept Jesus, that seems to go away after you do because after you do you better never sin again, or your brothers and sisters will crucify you. This is the behavior Jesus is pressing in on here. The religious establishment had gotten about the business of trying to corral the people into a fundamentally uniform process of obeying the law, and yet the spirit of the law had been lost. And, so, we have wrote traditions to follow with the whole thing being about modifying behavior as opposed to experiencing union and intimacy with God. And if you do a 360 around you we see this is still going on. We just have Christian traditions instead of Jewish Hebrew traditions to enforce. And this so quickly turns to judgment and, O my gosh, and you can just go out on social media and find the wars. And so often they boil down to what somebody did say or what somebody didn't say or what opportunity somebody missed when they should have said this or how they might be believing something that we don't believe and that that can’t be right. And, so, we’ve absolutely become Pharisees thinking that we are protecting God and that we are holding onto the traditions and enforcing what God would have us do in protecting the true doctrine. But the bottom line is the true doctrine, like, the true religion can be destroyed over time when mankind tries to interpret and enforce everyone else about it. So, Jesus is pressing into exactly this with the Pharisees today, but all we have to do is just harken back to what he's been saying all along. “judge not lest you be judged. The way that you judge others is the way you are going to be judged. Forgive and you will be forgiven. If you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven.” These are all things Jesus has been laying out all long since we started the journey. So, we have to consider our own posture of heart in the way that it is that we look at our fellow brothers and sisters all around us, especially, especially our brothers and sisters who do not see things the same way that we do. We can find ourselves being very, very pharisaical and then we have to listen to Jesus words, “for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God.” So, may we not be people who will honor the Lord with our lips, but our hearts are far from Him, because that is vain worship which means not doing anything and may we be very careful not to teach as doctrines the commandments of men.
Prayer:
Jesus, we come to You, these are Your words that we are speaking about, so we come to You. You said these things and they do prickle us, they do make us go, “wait, what are we talking about here”, because on some level we don't want to be the Pharisees but on the other side of it we want to do right. And, left to our own devices, this will lead us to judging others, this will lead us to unforgiveness, this will lead us into all kinds of things that make our religion nothing more than a tradition when what You are inviting us into is a personal, dynamic, always on, never off, life-giving relationship with You, and that is what we seek. But we do have the tendency to try to box that up and make it dogma and tradition as opposed to life-giving relationship. So, we need You. So. We’re coming to You Jesus. What are You bringing up? What are You speaking to us in this regard? Come Holy Spirit we pray. In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi DAB family my name is Walla, I’m calling from London. Hi Brian, hi Jill and happy new year to all. This call is for, I think his name is Brendan. He just called for the community prayer, so, the week starting the 20th. And Brian you’ve liked the girl for 11 years…I’m sorry, Brendan, you’ve liked the girl for 11 years but you’re not sure if you should ask her out. Matey, ask her out and if she says no, so be it. __ in her, please talk to this girl, and I’m assuming you’re not called to singleness. So, I mean, if she’s not the right person God would bring someone else. And, yeah, God bless you, I had to pause the community prayer to just talk to you. I’ll be praying for you brother. Alright, have a blessed day, I love you all. Bye.
Hi this is __ from northern Colorado and I wanted to pay for the young man who just called in and said that he’s been diagnosed with MS. Lord, I just lift him up to You and I just pray that he would feel Your comfort in a way that he’s never felt before. Lord, I pray that You would bring a strong support group around him of Christians Lord that would help him to look to You Lord. I just thank You that he has been doing that and that has changed his life Lord. We just thank You that, yeah, he’s had the courage to go another day and that we pray that You would continue to fill him with Your courage Lord and that that courage would grow and multiply in his life Lord. Help them to find his way in this Lord. But if You don’t want to do that and You want to heal him, we’ll take that too Lord. Just pray that You would have Your hand on his life and that You would guide him and that You will provide for his finances, that You’d provide for his support, that You were to reach out and comfort him in a way that he’s never been comforted by the Holy Spirit before Lord. Just do a mighty work and help him to shine Lord, help him to realize while he does have a __ disease that he’s not worthless at all Lord that You can still use him and that You have a plan for his life and I pray that You would help him to complete all the plans that You have ordained for him to do. Amen.
Hey Daily Audio Bible family, my name is Kat and I am a first-time this year listener. This is my first year going through it. My boss really recommended that I start doing it. She’s a wonderful Christian lady and I love it. I love waking up at listening to it. So, I just thank you so much for providing that. And I just…I’ve had this on my heart for a couple days now or a couple of weeks now but I recently had sort of been talking with a young guy who…we just sort of were dating but I realized very quickly that he is Buddhist and does not know the Lord and his name is Aaron and I just had to end things basically with him and it was very painful but I just knew that…I know that God is gonna work in him. Like I have this hope that he belongs to Him and He has that work, but I would really appreciate any prayers that he would just find Jesus. I just feel like it’s hopeless right now…I mean I don’t really…obviously I know God can work but it’s hard for me to believe that I guess, but I just pray that not even for my sake but just for his own sake that you would just…that he would find God and that he wouldn’t be satisfied in his own faith but that he would just hunger and thirst for righteousness and that he can only be filled by the Holy Spirit. So, yeah, thank you so much for your prayers. I listen to everybody else’s prayer requests on here and there’s some really amazing people of faith. And I know we’ll all meet one day, which is very exciting. Alright, thank you, have a great day.
Hi, my name is Dr. Russ, I live in California and I am responding to God’s Light request for being uplifted in prayer. I’m a first-time caller and I’m not calling for prayer, I’m calling to pray. I’m calling for God’s Light. God’s Light I was diagnosed with MS 25 years ago. I have lived a full life depending and relying upon Jesus every day since that time. And take note of this thought, pray through this thought, if we choose to end our lives, if we choose to take things in our own hands, do we not then say that Christ’s blood was spilled in vain and is worthless? Because if it is worth something then it redeems and if it redeems then it changes. And I can assure you, it does change everything. So, hang on. I’m praying for you, you have hundreds and perhaps thousands of people in the DAB family praying for you right now as I’m going to at this moment. Dear Father, for those who are afflicted with disease or things that they can’t understand and we all at one time or another are in that boat. Lord, show Yourself strong the week. Make Yourself that strength that is needed, the gap between where my brother says he is and where You are. Show Yourself Lord, strong to every individual has disease, who has shortfalls, who has shortcomings, and that includes all of us in this human race. Lord, may there be a collective strength of your body for that person. My dear friend, God’s Light…
Hi Daily Audio Bible family this is Kat in the UK. I’ve been listening for number of years now and have called on a couple of occasions but I’m now trying to call more regularly having missed the Christmas greeting last year. I really felt inspired this month to call and pray for those suffering with poor mental health. So here goes. Lord, we just thank You for who You are, for Your grace and mercy. We thank You that You are a God who wants us to have a spirit of love, and power, and of a sound mind and not a spirit of fear. Lord I just lift You, everyone in the Daily Audio Bible family who is struggling with poor mental health. I pray that You will be their rest, You will be their safe place, and You will be their anchor. Lord, in Your grace restore them, make them whole, and let them feel a lightness that comes from knowing You. In Your name. Amen.
Hi family this is Viola calling from Maryland I hope you’re all doing well. Brian and Jill God bless you. China, I’m watching all of the posts on Facebook. Congratulations again for your upcoming wedding in April. Woo hoo. You will make a great bride. O, I have just two minutes to say this. This sister that’s been calling about her son who has been saying horrible things, had a gun, talking about how he will kill somebody and everything. Sister, remember the __ women in the Bible who went to Jesus pleading on behalf of her child. You can still that. It’s __ authority over whatever has gotten in that boy and be gone in the name of Jesus. I am telling you sister this works. So, we are praying with you. Every time you call I’ve been praying, and I pray you will call back and give your testimony. And if he comes and he says everything __ , you begin to refute him with the word of God and say in the name of Jesus. The word of God says that you will be __ the Lord and it will bring you peace. I declare that peace for you right now in the name of Jesus. I bind every spirit harassing you. Begin to speak that to your son’s life and see everything come around you __. And I pray that will be true for you in the name of Jesus. Condon, I’m praying for your marriage. London from Maryland I pray that God will reconcile both you and your wife and there will be much forgiveness, you will make allowance for each others faults and God will just make everything afresh and just make it new again. In the name of Jesus. Lastly, I want to pray that sister who called in about her green card and paying the Lord will make away for you, the Lord will step into your situation, He will give you favor with the authorities, with ICE, and everything will be perfect quickly and speedily. Family, lastly, if you could pray for my son Daniel __ from college. Woo hoo. He’s looking for a good job and we pray that he will get one. God bless you.

2 Chronicles 19:1-20:37, Romans 10:14-11:12, Psalms 21:1-13, Proverbs 20:4-6
Today is the 27th day of July welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I’m Brian it is wonderful to be here with you today around the Global Campfire as we find our peace, our oasis, our center. We center ourselves in the Scriptures, and…and we do it together, We don’t have to be alone in a solitary endeavor. We’re in community as we take the next step. And, so, let's do that. We’re reading from the New English Translation this week. Today, second Chronicles chapters 19 and 20.
Commentary:
Okay. In our reading from Second Chronicles today we have this story from the reign of King Jehoshaphat that is really a complete and very very hopeful story in an incredible…an incredibly terrifying and intimidating time. So, Israel is about to be attacked by a vast horde of three different armies who are crossing the Dead Sea and…and then preparing to come up to Jerusalem. And this is not anticipated. That’s the thing. Like this happens suddenly and there are those times in our lives, right, when the sudden and unexpected happens and we realize that we are in a vulnerable position, and we have to decide what to do. And this is the whole nation of Israel deciding this…they…they're facing the this, their scouts have indeed reported that a vast horde of people are crossing the Dead Sea to attack Jerusalem. So, if you think about it like what are the options? Maybe to immediately go and…and expend every single bit of energy and resource possible to immediately try to build up some kind of reinforcement or some kind of fortification. But again this isn’t planned. Like, this is haste. This is…would be reacting, but if it's a vast horde what are you going to do? They don't have a lot of options. Or maybe send negotiators down to the Army to see what they want, you know, see if there could be terms of peace, like to settle the situation or, I guess…I don't know. Vast army is coming against you, maybe you just want to go in the other direction as fast as you can and just get as far away from the conflict as possible. That might be a little easier for individuals or small groups of people than to have a whole nation run away from an enemy, an enemy that seems to be, you know, amassing an attack on the capital city of Jerusalem. But as the story goes, and I just…I’m quoting here from second Chronicles. “Jehoshaphat was afraid so he decided to seek the Lord's advice. He decreed that all Judah should observe a fast.” So, he didn't go negotiate. They didn't run away. He didn’t try a higher a militia or some other army, but he was afraid. And we can probably relate, right? The unexpected comes, we see vulnerability and we’re afraid. And it's what happens next, though that becomes the important thing because what happens next in this story is very different than maybe some of…some of the things that we do when we face these situations. We may run away, try to negotiate, build up reinforcements, do whatever we gotta do. But in this case, he was afraid, and he turned to God. And he…he goes before the Lord, and he prays, like God we can't deal with…we don't…we’re not prepared for this. They’re…they're going to overtake us. You are our only hope. And when this temple was built we said that if we were invaded or things were happening we could come here and we can call upon your name and so that's what we’re doing. We’re calling upon your name because they're coming to attack us. And I quote from Jehoshaphat's prayer. “Our God will you not judge them for we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us. We don't know what we should do. We look to you for help.” So, that is a posture that is not in their own strength. That is a posture saying we are utterly dependent upon you, Lord. As the story goes, they stay before the Lord, worship the Lord and prophetic voice is spoken and…and the people are to go out, they are to go out and face the enemy, but what they will be ultimately are spectators, not participants in the battle. They…they…they go out and observe. The three armies have destroyed each other. So, when we find ourselves facing the unknown and we’re afraid and the facts aren't looking good, we can move in any number of directions. We have a will. We can chart our own course in our own strength but if we will remember this story it is a hopeful one in these seasons. It is hopeful and helpful to be reminded of our utter dependence upon God and to remember that He is a lot stronger than we are. He is a lot stronger than what might be coming against us, and He knows all a lot more about what's actually going on than we do. And, so, as we watch Jehoshaphat in the people of Israel in this case, we see that there are any number of things that they could've done, but what they did was to humble themselves before the Lord and it was the Lord who delivered them.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word and we thank You for stories like this one that…that bring encouragement and a great amount of hope, but also a tremendous amount of reminder. It is not in our own strength that we will achieve anything. It is by Your grace and Your sustenance and Your protection alone. And, so, we humble ourselves before You in all of the things that we may be facing. You are our only hope and this is the only hope we need. Come Holy Spirit we pray. In the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi Daily Audio Bible family this is My Joy is full from London and I just finished listening to the July 24th podcast and I just wanted to say, there’s a lady at the end and I can't remember her name but she told us her testimony about how she's ashamed because of the divorcing her husband and her divorcing her ex-husband and now…and she came to the DAB because of her new husband and etc., etc. But…and you asked, like how do you tell that, how do you…you feel like you’re __ your testimony, how do you tell that? And exactly how you just told us is how you tell it, I think. Yeah, tell people that you were hesitant but it's just…that changed your life. Exactly what you said. So, that say to whoever like the Spirit leads. But, yeah, I wanted to say like the way you said it was perfect.
Hi DAB family this is Jessica from California. I'm calling in today to ask for some prayer. Last year sometime I called in and asked everyone to pray for my uncle who was in a…he got ran over by a car and he made it through that and now he's in a rehabilitation center. He's not the same as he used to be. He’s sort of like a child, but he does know some things. But he's having a hard time connecting the dots. And today was the first time I was able to go take him on an outing. I've been…been visiting…visiting him for…every two weeks for the past few months since they started letting us because before that I couldn't even see them because of COVID. And, so, I really thought it was going to be a great day and I was so excited about it but once I got him out, he got really overwhelmed and anxiety and he felt scared and kind of weird. And, you know, going from being a normal human being to being handicapped I'm sure not an easy thing to accept or understand, especially for him to understand why. And I just would like to ask you brothers and sisters if you could just help me pray for my uncle to have the peace that surpasses all understanding because he just…he tells me that he worries and…and he doesn't know what he's going to do and he doesn't know what he's supposed to do. And I tell him not to worry, that we're trying to figure that out but it's just a lot for him. So, I just appreciate if you guys could help me pray for that. And I…and I love you guys and hope everything is well. Bye. Thank you.
I'm basking in the spirit but I'm still laying in bed the sun hasn't come up yet and I'm glad that I'm not dead it's quiet and it's dark and it seems like the world's asleep but I can feel you all around me God and inside too real deep it feels like I'm glowing but I know that can't be true pre-dawn is my favorite time to come in prayer to you there aren't any real distractions no voices cars or lights no human interference no arguments or fights only me reflecting thoughts that spring from deep within thoughts now filled with gratitude that used to be a sin I come to you for power I come to you for grace I come to you my father because there really is no other place I lift you up for what you've done you've done so much for me I praise you God for who you are and how you've set me free it seems like I can't get enough of praising you every day the closer that I get to you the more I love to pray thank you God for lifting me for loving me for setting free thank you God that my eyes can see a concept like eternity the sun's up now and I'm still in prayer I still can feel you everywhere inside outside all around even deep below the ground you are truly awesome
[email protected]. I'd like to give a shout out to Margaret Aronetta. I hope that things are well and that your new podcast 180 got off the ground successfully. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers daily. And once again Brian and the Hardin family thank you for this wonderful podcast for God's Holy Spirit to flow. Keep it flowin’ Y’all. Alright. Bye-bye.
Hi Diane from Denver, I heard you speaking this morning about the grief that you're experiencing at your daughter's death and I…it took my breath away. And I just thank you for reaching out. I…I hear that you are trying to be strong and…and you don't have to be. You've lost your daughter and that's sad and you're doing the right thing in reaching out. Just feel those feelings. Give them to the Lord. Sit with the Lord and feel your feelings and remember your memories and as time passes He will walk you through this path of grief that leads to a new way of living, a way of living that does not include your daughter. And how painful that's going to be. I pray that you are able to reach out and feel Him, feel the presence of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and our Father as they hold you as you learn to walk this new life and that you'll eventually be able to find new waves of joy, deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit and our God. I just pray you comfort sister. Amen.
Good morning DAB family I am calling in a prayer for the woman that called about her daughter that passed away. I believe she said it's not been that long. She had post on the wall for a transplant…plant for her daughter and was denied. Today is Sunday the 25th. Father God in the name of Jesus I ask that You will comfort the Young lady that lost her daughter that passed away not too long ago God. Give her peace above all understanding God. Comfort her in her time of bereaving God. Lord You know we need You right now in these times where we don't know where to turn, which way to turn God. We toss and turn in our sleep God. But Lord You said that You would never leave us nor forsake us God. So, God let her know that You are with her. Comfort her in her sleep God. Talk to her in her dreams. Let her know that her daughter is at peace and her daughter is with her Father God. Give her family peace. Give her family comfort God. Lord in the name of Jesus I pray for those that need comfort right now, those that are bereaving for lost ones God. Not only her lost ones but those that lost loved ones for whatever reason God. I pray on this line Lord that she would give us peace above all understanding in Jesus’ name God. Comfort those that call in that are sick that are wounded. that are broken hearted. those that are suffering right now. You comfort those. Give them peace above all understanding in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Nehemiah 5:14-7:73, 1 Corinthians 8:1-13, Psalms 33:1-11, Proverbs 21:8-10
Today is the 13th day of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It's great to be here with you today as we continue our journey toward the middle of the week, and for that matter toward the middle of this month. I'm glad that we could be here together to take the next step forward in our journey through the Scriptures. And we’re in this really interesting, really dramatic story called Nehemiah and there’s so much for us to learn in this book about the way leadership works, the way that Nehemiah handled a task that he was given that was far beyond his capability and all of the oppositions that he faced along the way. It gives us such a life lesson. So, we’ll pick up where we left off yesterday were reading from the Good News Translation this week. Nehemiah chapter 5 verse 14 through 7 verse 73.
Commentary:
Okay. So, back to Nehemiah. Yeah, obviously the last part of our reading today was a number of lists about people who had returned from exile, but before that, and throughout this story of the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem, we should notice that Nehemiah…like…he assessed the situation before he got anyone involved and then when they launched, they launched strong and they faced all kinds of opposition, but as we’ve read over the last three days, these oppositions only got like…it only escalated…it only amped up the closer they got to finishing the wall. We should maybe give us a little bit of an exhale when we think of our own mission, like where not the only ones who ever face opposition. This is everybody. And today we got to see kind of what was burning inside, like what Nehemiah's heart was like, what was a motivating because he gave it to us in print form. He didn't take the resources that was given to his position. Even though his predecessors as governors had taken their pay he didn't. And there was nothing wrong with them getting paid for what they did. It was just that he saw the burden the people were under and as their leader he tried to live by example and lighten the load and be a part of the story with them instead of taking advantage of him. And, so he paid out of his own pocket what it cost for him to be in the position that he was in, which could've only showed everyone around him, everyone under him that he was in the struggle, that he was in it with them, but it also showed the people that Nehemiah was looking for this opportunity. Like he wasn't looking for personal gain. He had one mission and it was a mission that burned in his heart when he served the King of Persia and that was to rebuild the wall to see that the temple would be protected. And so, that was it. He would accept nothing less or nothing more. That was it. In fact, Nehemiah goes on to tell us that he was so devoted to the wall that he refused to acquire any land. And that might be like well, “you’re just putting another feather in your cap buddy. We get it. You're a good guy. You were a good guy.” But it’s actually a pretty big thing what he’s saying because this is Jerusalem, right? This is Jerusalem, who has been…that has been destroyed, but this is a city that is sitting in the center of things, a very valuable piece of property. And now, with walls going up and a temple going up, like this is the primmest of prime real estate for the future. Like, this is where you want to invest cause thus city's coming back. He didn’t at all. It wasn't wealth that he was after, right? It wasn’t in position or power or prosperity that he was after. He wanted to finish what he started, what God gave him to do. So, then Nehemiah faces the politics of the whole situation, right? So, ridicule didn’t work, taunting didn't work, and they planned attacks and attacks didn't work. And, so, they tried to intimidate Nehemiah specifically. First by inviting him to basically a summit, like “hey…come out to the plane of Ona. We have some things we need to talk about.” And the enemies of Nehemiah, the enemies of the people are just exposing themselves. They see that the wall is about to be completed so they want to get on terms with Nehemiah. Actually, they want to lure him away so that they can discredit him, but he won't go. Like he will come down. He’s basically, “I’m up on this wall and I'm not coming down from this wall to meet with you.” And that's when this open letter comes, right, this plot to send word all the way back to Persia to the king that Nehemiah has built this wall and is rebuilding the city and plans to become the king of Judah and rebel against the king of Persia. And even prophets are bribed in the mix here to discredit and make Nehemiah look bad. So, basically we’re watching the systematic attack on God's plan that was birthed in the in Nehemiah’s heart. And Nehemiah, as the leader of the vision, of this plan, the leader of this whole effort, how he responds to all of these things, right? We don't have any little asides in the book of Nehemiah where Nehemiah’s, you know, hiding out in some kind of house somewhere with his head in his hands asking if he missed God, right? Like with all of this that keeps…all these attacks that keep coming against me, maybe I just missed God or maybe I just missed it somehow and then we start to try to figure a way out of whatever it is. What Nehemiah did was keep moving forward. Like, one way or another, as slow as it might've been, one foot in front of the other, one little bit of progress forward every day. And I feel pretty confident that some of you needed to hear that today straight from the Bible, unfiltered.
Prayer:
Father, we come into Your presence, and whether we’re facing any of these things right now, we’re all on the same page about what we’re talking about here. Whether it's our current circumstance, we know what's going on and we’ve felt this before, and frankly, we've given up more times than we haven't. So, come Holy Spirit and let us see this lesson that is just sitting here in the story of Nehemiah about continuing forward no matter how slow the progress and no matter who's saying what, no matter the intimidation against us. If we know that You have asked us to do something, then help us to complete it and to do it with honor and to do it in Your name. Come Holy Spirit we pray. In the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Delta Alpha Foxtrot this is Victor Romeo Sierra a.k.a. Victoria in Missouri. I just had to call and thank you thank you thank you for reminding all of us, I know it’s been a while since you called, but thanks for reminding all of us to contribute to this fabulous platform of the Daily Audio Bible so we may all continue to receive it. I want to shout out also to the others who have called, Free Indeed from Maryland, Sheila from Texas, and someone, possibly it was one of you too, called and talked to us about paying where you are fed. How beautiful! I just love that. So, I just want us all to think about how much we learn each day from Brian’s commentary. The words that we receive, we’re receiving teaching, we’re receiving an education about the Bible and God word every day. Would you pay a dollar for the word being read to you and the outstanding and excellent commentary that we receive every day that we learned so much from? They both lead and guide us. I would be a dollar. I would be more than a dollar. I am paying more than a dollar. Please consider sharing a dollar a day or more. Some of us, you know, most of us, or a lot of us, some of us would not miss $30 a month coming out of our budget. Some of us wouldn’t miss more than that. Technology is expensive and it’s ever-changing. So, thank you so much for considering a gift to maintain our daily bread, our Daily Audio Bible and sustain this…this beautiful word and gift that we receive from Brian every day. Thanks, love everyone. Prayers and blessings. Bye-bye.
Hi family this is his little Cherry in Canada and I just got up and I’m so grateful because I had a good night last night. I even was able to lie on my back for a little while and haven’t been able to do that for weeks and weeks and weeks. So, I’m so grateful. Thank you for your prayers. I wanted to let a few people know I’m praying for them. Christine in Washington state, you mentioned that your daughter had a scope to look at her stomach and biopsy and that the pictures don’t look very good and you’re feeling worried and anxious and I completely understand that because I have a daughter too and I’ve been through some things with her. And I know it seems like the enemy has power to get to us sometimes when we’ve been serving the Lord or when we’ve been getting close to the Lord and then we’re hit with different things. It does feel like we’re being attacked, and I know that we are being attacked but sometimes it’s easy to give the enemy more power than he has, to feel like where at his mercy and he’s just doing whatever he wants in our lives. But we have to believe that he is a defeated foe and the truth is that the cross was more than enough to render him impotent and powerless. And ultimately Jesus is the one who is writing a story. And even when we are attacked, he takes the very thing the enemy intends for evil and works them for good and it’s a choice to believe that. So, Christine I’m praying for you and for your daughter and I’m believing that God is working all things together for good not just in your life but in her life as well. He is faithful to both of you and He is writing your story and He is carrying you to the happily ever after that His blood bought for you. Praying for you. Thank you, family. Bye bye.
Good morning this is Tiffany Locke from Arizona. It is August 9th, 2019 and I am calling for Christopher in pretzel city. You say you’re lost and you should be somewhere that you’re not in your spiritual life and I’m calling to say that I am praying for you and that you should begin to thank God for small things, silly things, things that you wouldn’t even think that you should consider or that God would consider, silly things such as driving down a street filled with traffic lights that you didn’t get stopped out one of them. You say thank you God that I had all green lights. And maybe the enemy will come in and try to make you feel silly but keep going. Thank Him for your breath, the ability to walk, the ability to see, your dog, your house. Begin to thank him even if you don’t feel thankful at the moment because those feelings will come, and then God will start to put things into your head to be thankful about maybe. I don’t know. Maybe He won’t but maybe you’ll start seeing more things. And keep thanking Him. Begin to worship Him, begin to praise Him, and don’t worry about what kind of person you are right now because He’s gonna take care of that. God is so good, and He knows more about you than you could possibly know about yourself. Pour yourself out to Him. Tell Him how stressed you are. Tell Him how upset you are or how happy you are or any of those things. Begin to talk to Him. Talk to Him no matter what time it is. Talk to Him when you are so angry you can barely stand yourself. Just say I’m so angry! God has big shoulders and He loves you more than you could possibly understand. I pray that you will receive this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Esther 4:1-7:10; 1 Corinthians 12:1-26; Psalms 36:1-12; Proverbs 21:21-22
Today is the 19th day of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian. It’s great to be here with you as we close down another week together. And we began this beautiful book of Esther yesterday and we will conclude it tomorrow. So, we’re kind of like right in the middle of it and that's where we'll pick up. We’ll pick up where we left off yesterday, where there is this new queen, Esther, who happens to be a Jewess but she hasn't revealed that. And then there's this man Haman who is like second in command to the King. So, like on either side of the king are a Jewess and one who wants to utterly and completely destroy the Jews. And the drama builds. Esther chapter 4 verse one through 7 verse 10 today.
Commentary:
Alright, Esther is such a beautiful story. Right? I mean…it’s just a beautiful, beautiful story. Not so much for Haman. But pretty much for everybody else. But it's this intentionality of God working in and among circumstances when we don't even really know completely what's going. I mean, so, Hadassah who is Esther, lost her parents, was orphaned, was then taken in by her uncle and raised up. So, we can say she had significant disadvantages against her, the most unlikely person to become a queen. And yet this is what happens. Her beauty grows. Her character grows. She's beautiful inside and out. And when the king is looking for new Queen…I mean…he has a lot of beauty of beauty to pick from, but Esther is chosen. And, so, when Haman's plot to destroy the Jews…and you know this…this has just happened throughout history…the destruction of the Jewish people…and this is just one more instance of the kind of Holocaust that was planned for them by Haman. And Esther is just kind of settling into what has just happened to her. She lost her parents. She's been raised by her uncle. Her uncle loves her. Then she's swept away from her uncle and brought into the harem of the king waiting her turn. And the next thing she knows she's become queen and then she discovers this plot and she doesn’t know exactly what to do because she’s still moving into being Queen and she knows that if she goes before the king uninvited that she could lose her own life. And Mordechai is kind of like, yeah, that might happen anyway. Who knows, Esther, who knows, you could've been born for this, you have been put where you are for such a time as this. And that proves true. And, so, this is a giant example because we have a beautiful queen and we have all of this intrigue and it's all consolidated into, you know, a kind of a tight little book and story. But these kinds of things are going on all the time. Maybe not on such a grand scale but if we open our eyes and start paying attention and walk with God in everything as we face out into the world and Sneeze Jesus into the world and infect the world with light and good news, we’re going to find that ‘for such a time as this’ is common for us. We just have to be paying attention. It's just…I talked about serendipity…in one of the Facebook lives that we did for Sneezing Jesus…I said, you just watch…if you're paying attention…you just watch the little things that happen that put you in positions to say the right thing at the right time on behalf of the Savior. And that's true. If we’re paying attention. If were not so self-absorbed about what's going on around us, what’s swirling around us or how we are being affected, if we’ll face outward away from that and start paying attention, light and life are everywhere. And we need to be a part of it. And the opportunities are endless to just do good, to just be light in this world. And this story certainly shows us, on a grand scale, what that looks like. But it looks the same for all of us in big and small ways.
And then we have the apostle Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, unpacking what the body of Christ is and telling us something very, very important that also pulls us away from self-absorption. You are a part of something greater than yourself. All by yourself, isolated, there’s only so far you can go. But when you understand that you are a part of a greater whole and that greater whole is the body of Christ in this world, the physicality of Jesus in this world, lived out through our own flesh - that is mind boggling. Like, just that awareness alone, that Christ is in me and I am a part of his body and together we make up this whole. Then what we’re actually saying here is that Jesus is still in the world, on earth, physically represented, and doing his work in the world through us. And we are a part of that, big or small, we are a part of that. And every part of the body is irreplaceable and important. That changes the order and scope of our lives. That definitely pulls us away from the self-absorption of just what is happening to us and around us, making us aware that we are a part of something happening in the world, a new way of being in the world, in Christ. And we all have a role to play. And there is for such a time as this for each of us. I mean, that should change how we live today. Right? That should change how we live tomorrow. That that should give us pause before we launch into some sort of tirade against someone, someone near to us or someone away from us. That should give us pause before we step into things that are not going to be helpful. There are gifts and there are gifts for us all and we all play a role in a whole. It's incredible.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for the book of Esther. We thank You for the letter to the Corinthians. We thank You for this awareness, that we have a role to play. And as we continue to play these roles there’s going to continue to be for such a time as this. And we are part of a greater whole. And it’s not about us trying to rise above anyone. It's about us being the body of Christ in this world, Your body, Your work, Your kingdom and You have invited us who do not deserve to be here at all into this glorious, dramatic, beautiful story that never ends. And, so, we’re humbled and we invite your Holy Spirit to give us the eyes and ears that would make us aware of the things that are happening around us and our role in it as opposed to only what's happening to or around us. Help us Holy Spirit. Lift our eyes to the horizon so that we can be oriented once again and see what is really going on around here. Help us Jesus we ask in Your precious name. Amen.

Hi. My name’s Heather. I live in Chicago and I’ve been listening to the Daily Audio Bible off and on a fairly short time. This is my first time calling. I really need prayer for multiple things in my life. The most pressing one right now being that my husband and I are on the verge of splitting and I’m just very confused and don’t know what to do. I just feel frozen by fear. On top of that I struggle with depression and anxiety and have for years but since we’ve moved to Chicago it’s just gotten so much worse. I’m also unable to have children and this is something that I am having a hard time moving past. I still feel very much in a state of mourning. I have severe endometriosis and due to multiple surgeries, my body doesn’t want to conceive. In fact I am moving towards parry menopause at the age of 32. So, there are many heavy burdens on my heart and there are a lot of days where I just feel like I would rather be with the Lord than have to struggle through. So, I could really use allot of prayer. I just need God’s healing and clarity in these areas in my life and in my marriage. Thank you.
Hello. Greatest Trucker from way out west. Today’s the 14th of August, Monday. I’m listening to the program this morning and Brian was reading the book of Ezra. And Ezra was a very powerful reading this morning, where Ezra stood out there and read the bible from morning until night…and it occurred to me that Brian Hardin is the modern-day Ezra and that we are the people standing out there listening to him from morning until night. And I just want to thank God for this ministry and thank Brian for doing what he does. And in the New Testament reading today, when Paul said that ___. And so, for this ministry. In Jesus’ name. I’m praying for all you people. Keep praying for me.
Hey family, this is Viola from Maryland. I hope you’re all doing well. Brian and Jill, God bless you. God bless your ministry. Family, pray for my friend that I want to give Sneezing Jesus to this week. And that this week that her heart will be receptive in the name of Jesus. And they will support her and she will be able to accept Him into her heart in Jesus’ name. Hey Debbie and Lawrence, I want to welcome you back into God’s family. Welcome back. And I pray that God will continue to grow you in the name of Jesus. The word of God says in Psalm 63 – that God will give us hearts that follow ___ after Him, hearts that cling passionately to Him. So, I am praying in the name of Jesus that you will have such hearts, even for God and Debbie I am praying for healing for your body. From the crown of your head to the soul of your feet I am praying the Lord will touch your body, the Lord will heal you from cancer. There is nothing our God cannot do. I am trusting God for you in the name of Jesus. ___ daughter had laparoscopy and is now in intensive care, I am praying for her and praying that God will touch her body and raise her up from that sickbed in the name of Jesus. That the Lord of healing will touch her with healing in Jesus name. David, I am rejoicing with you that you reconciled with your wife and I want to use you as a point of contact so that other people in similar situations, God will restore, God will reconcile. And I’m praying for your business, that God will restore all that was lost, in the name of Jesus. Jake, I’m praying that God will wrap His arms around you, and comfort you over the loss from your Father. Listen brother, it doesn’t matter how he has died. The fact is he’s gone. So, I’m just praying God will comfort you as you mourn his loss and that you will think about good thoughts as you confide in Him in the name of Jesus. Lisa, I’m praying for you that God will touch your marriage, God will restore you and your husband, Nate, in the name of Jesus. There is nothing he cannot do. __ what is going on in your home right now. I pray that God will touch your hearts and heal you…
Hi. This is Shannon. I wanted to encourage Stacy in Washington state and Mary C. in Georgia, and Peggy in Texas. I know what it is to be sick and to be in a place where it feels very much alone. When I was 16 I had a type of autoimmune disorder and went to a host of doctors that couldn't do anything for me. But God is good and He heard my cry. And my illness and the pain that I experienced is now a distant memory. And there’s a scripture in Psalm 107 verse 23 and 24…I believe….and it says that those that go and do business in great waters. And when people do business in the great waters, nobody can help them. Right? And when you're in that place, when you’re sick, and no one can help you and the doctors don’t know what to do. You’re in that place, you’re in the great waters, you’re in the deep. The next verse says that these people see the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep. And I am praying that you…while you’re in the deep…and you're alone…and in your struggle…that you're not alone. And that I'm praying. And that you will see the wonders of God in deep and you will find healing. And I found healing in complete restoration. So, I am praying that for all of you. I have your names. I pray for you every day. So, be encouraged that while the pain is great He is greater and His healing is greater.

Ecclesiastes 4:1-6:12, 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:7, Ps 47:1-9, Proverbs 22:16
Today is September 3rd. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It's great to be here with you as we continue to move into this week and into this month. A little discombobulated. August went so fast, but here we are, September 3rd. And the next step is right here waiting for us to take. We’re reading from the New Living Translation this week and continuing our journey through the book of Ecclesiastes today will read chapters 4 through 6.
Commentary:
Okay. So, this book of Ecclesiastes that we are reading from the pen of the wise King Solomon is a disruptive book to say the least, right? Because we’re experiencing his observations on basically futility, right, the futile experiences of life on earth chasing the wind, the meaninglessness. But honestly though, let's take a step back. Yes, it's disruptive because it's supposed to be disruptive. What Solomon seems to be doing is saying out loud the things that we feel sometimes, but that we don't say out loud because there seems to be a rub, like this disconnect with all of the famous verses of victory and prosperity for ourselves and the overwhelming love of God, which is a fact. These things are in the Bible. You know, let's look at where Solomon is coming from. He has experienced it all. He has had nothing really in his path that he didn't have the resource or the ingenuity to overcome and he’s applied basically this ability to everything in life. He's explored all of the different ways that people live their lives and he comes to this meaninglessness because we’re all holding onto things that we have to learn to let go of including this life, which is very disruptive, right? Like, to understand okay, slowly, systematically, all the things that I build up to arrange for the life that I'm living, these are all things that I am not taking with me and that I have to let go of, which lets us know that there must be something even deeper to be experienced than all of the things that we run around trying to accumulate in our lives to give it meaning. So, Solomon in so many ways is coming to the conclusion, “enjoy what you have, enjoy your lot in life, be where you are, understand that it's a gift from God and all of the other stuff that you're chasing after may, in fact, be meaningless, may in fact be chasing the wind.” So, Solomon made a bunch of observations just in our reading today. So…I mean…like…let's...lets just look at a couple of the things that he said today. “I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors, but this is meaningless like chasing the wind.” Right? So, that's like disruptive. As factual, as true as it might be, that's disruptive because it makes us take a step back and go, “why am I on the hamster wheel? Like, what is it I am running to or from? Where am I actually going? Am I am motivated in life because I am trying to keep up? But what if there weren't anything to keep up? Would I then enjoy my lot in life and stop trying to compete in a meaningless competition that doesn't do anything but make me chase the wind? Solomon also says today, “too much activity gives you restless dreams. Too many words make you a fool.” Right? So, there’s like so much in that sentence alone. Our culture is like an always on, you wake up in the morning, you put your feet on the floor, and you start running until you collapse in bed and you fill yourself with everything you can and then you also try to keep up with the Joneses and you also try to keep up the culture, right, so that you can have relevance to what's going on in the world. “Too much activity gives you restless dreams. Too many words make you a fool.” In other words, all of this activity and words aren't helping. We have to create room because we’re walking in circles that are meaningless. According to Ecclesiastes from a reading today, “to enjoy your work and accept your lot in life, this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.” So, like, it…it's easy enough to just go, “is that what I'm experiencing? Am I like settled? Do I feel satisfied? Have I let go of the things that are pulling me in all kinds of directions that I don't want to go in anyway? Am I in this unspoken competition with my friends and family and neighbors? Like am I trying...what is the point? And it's easy to realize that if we are not pressing in deeper with God, which means that we are letting go of the world, then we are moving in circles that are meaningless like chasing the wind.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, we invite You into that this very day because this is huge. It goes all the way to what motivates us to do the things that we do. And in all honesty as we sit with it we realize that we are compelled in many directions that are neither healthy nor helpful they really are like chasing the wind that really are meaningless in the end, and yet we’re on this train and everybody else is on this train and we’re just running, running, running, running and we rarely sit down with the idea that maybe some intentional letting go is what will actually open up space in our lives so that as You said in your word today, You can keep us so busy enjoying life instead of enjoy or attempting to accumulate all of the stuff that we think is going to make us enjoy life. You’ll make us so busy actually enjoying life that there isn’t really a lot of time to brood over the past. Help us with this Lord. There is no way we’re gonna untangle ourselves and achieve this on our own except that it's relatively easy to move in this direction. It simply requires that we begin to let go. So, come Holy Spirit into all of this we pray. In the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hello everybody this is Lisa the Encourager. I’m just loving this new red, hot button. It makes it really easy to call in. So, tonight I wanted to call in for Summer and I’m sitting out on my front porch on this beautiful evening and listening to the birds and a few things chirping around me. So, I hope that’s not too distracting, but I am saying all that because I hear Summer from Ohio and I think about what a beautiful name you have to remind us of a beautiful summer day and I just want you to know that you called in with a lot of strife in your past life and a lot of regrets it sounded like, in the way that the children were handled and the way that the ex-husband came in after he had a restraining order and you were going through some really difficult times with your depression. So, summer I just want you to know that you need to look forward and look up because right now there’s nothing gonna change what has happened in the past with the kids or with you. So, today I challenge you to look up and look forward from this point forward because God is with you and I’m going to be praying for you. Dear God please take care of Summer. Help her to realize that You are with her and that You are with her children and her grandchildren and that You will be there as she prays for them and continues to love on them and be a wonderful mother and grandmother God, that You will take care of her and those beautiful children. Help her to rely on You, trust on You, for you have faith in You and call upon Your name over and over and over God. Help her to know and have faith and trust in You that you will be there for her.
Hi DAB this is Jeanette from Denmark. I am calling with thanksgiving. It’s nearly 10 years now that I’ve been listening to the DAB and by husband for three or four. We’re so happy every day that we listen and respond and pray together with our American friends and family in Jesus. We have a prayer request. We have a brother who is suffering. He believes deeply in Jesus, but he’s had a depression he’s suffered against for many years. And right now, he’s in a testing time. Please pray that he would take strength and take a hold of Jesus hand and realize that he’s not just responded to things, that he has a place and having to gather with the Lord and that he can stand strong together with his King that there is nothing that can stand against him, no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Please pray that his child will come home and feel secure and that his wife will be completely rejoicing in renewal. Thank you. Amen.
Hi, this is Rachel __ this is my first-time calling in. I started listening to the Daily Audio Bible around Memorial Day, a little bit before that and I want to let everybody know that I love it. I love the community and I just wanted to give a prayer of thanks. Dear God, I want to thank You for the Daily Audio Bible, Brian and Jill and everyone who’s a part of the team and the family. I want to thank You for this amazing strong community of prayer warriors that is helped to build. God You said that if we ask in the name of Jesus it is your will, our prayers will be answered and if one or more gather in your name that You are there, and You show up in your presence. God, I know that there are many of us listeners who are praying for these requests that are aired, and in that way, we are more than one gathered together. God, I want to thank You for the faith of these Daily Audio Bible members. Together we are strong and new people join and listen every day as we invite our friends and family and others to join and listen to the Daily Audio Bible and they change and grow, and their faith increases. So, I just want to thank You for this community as it grows, and our faith grows, and as we become a presence where we are unstoppable together. So, thank You God for answered prayers. Amen.
Good morning DABbers, this is Kathy in Oregon. I called to request some prayer. I’m going through a difficult time. This morning on my way to work my husband is an alcoholic and things just aren’t going well. We’ve been together for 20 years and I feel like our wagon is driving down into the ditch and I almost started crying when I heard Brian say, “you don’t have to carry this alone.” I’m involved with celebrate recovery. I’m not an alcoholic but trying to figure out what my role in here is. And sometimes I feel pretty alone. There’s not too many people I can reach out to. Just __ . Thank you so much for this opportunity. I hope you have a blessed time. Wish I could be there at the global campfire on the East Coast. But knowing that Jesus is here, He’s with me, He’s gotten me to where I am to today. Thank you for your prayers and thank you for the support and encouragement. I kind of think I’m going in the right direction. Thank you.
Hi, this is Andrew and I’m calling to ask for prayer regarding some difficult situations in my life. I just ask that you all pray for my wisdom and my ability to love and I pray that you…that God may guide us to have broken contrite hearts ready and soft for confession, repentance, and new beginnings. Thank you for the Daily Audio Bible. Listen to it every day for several months now. It’s been my root for my devotionals and helps me be grounded in the daily hustle and bustle. Thank you.

Exodus 34:1-35:9, Matthew 27:15-31, Psalms 33:12-22, Proverbs 9:1-6
Today is the 12th day of…February…I had a brain freeze…February, that's where we are and we’re just about to the middle of the month in a couple of days when we experience Valentine's Day. And it's great to be here with you for the next step forward in our adventure through the Scriptures this year. And this week we’re reading from the Contemporary English Version and in the Old Testament we’re reading through the book of Exodus, which we will conclude before this week is out. But today, Exodus chapter 34 verse 1 through 35 verse 9.
Commentary:
Okay. So, we’ve been watching some erratic movement back and forth in the children of Israel's existence in the book of Exodus, so erratic that they’re bowing in worship to a golden calf and then we have the conspiracy to kill Jesus in the book of Matthew. And, so, kind of some dark territory that we’re moving through but we have to consider ourselves in these stories. Like, where are our hearts in these stories? Who would we be if we were living in those stories, right? Would we be bowing to a golden calf wondering what happened to the man of God who disappeared on the mountain? Would we be yelling nail Him to a cross in the throng of people who had been whipped into a frenzy by the trusted religious leaders? We’ll read these stories and consider ourselves maybe above the disciples, “no we wouldn't…we wouldn't run away, no we wouldn't deny.” Or we might read the Old Testament story and think of ourselves more along with the priests and with Moses not…we would be the people going, “what are we supposed to do now? Give us a God so that we can be led forward in our lives.” And, so, trying to put ourselves in the story, this can be disruptive, but it exposes us, it invites us forward because we have to consider how patient God is with humanity, how patient God is with us, how intentional He is, how long-suffering He is. We do not deserve it. And that's the thing because we began to think that we do. We don't deserve God's compassion and grace. Why does He love us at all?
In our reading from Psalms today we got some clues. We read, “the Lord looks at the world from His throne in heaven and He watches us all. The Lord gave us each a mind, and nothing we do can be hidden from Him.” In other words, God sees and He understands and it's a pretty radical thing to know that we’re are understood when we’re so often screaming just the opposite into the face of the Lord, but He his understand, right? Every atom, every molecule, everything that makes us who we are, every good conviction and emotion that fills our hearts finds its essence in God because we were created in His image after His likeness. Of course He understands, He's our Father. And, so, as we continue forward and we see God giving the law we have to understand that He's not vengefully, angrily laying down the law. Instead, He's weaving into the fabric of this new culture the story of who He is and what it means to be set apart by Him.
And as we watch Jesus, as we watch for the first time, Jesus go to the cross in the book of Matthew, we have to acknowledge just how committed God is to setting us apart.
The Psalm goes on to say, “the Lord watches over all who honor Him and trust His kindness.” In other words, we are being fathered by God under His watchful eye. He understands us, and He was willing to come and give His life so that we could know Him intimately, so that we could come close.
The proverb told us to leave our simple ways behind and begin to live. Maybe it's time to do that. Maybe it's time to own our part of the relationship as we've talked about already this year. God has done His part. Maybe it's time that we grow up and do our part. God does understand us, and we are loved more than we can comprehend. Maybe we should give everything we've got and love Him with all of our heart and our mind and our strength in return.
Prayer:
Father, we begin by humbly acknowledging Your patience, Your long-suffering, Your kindness, Your goodness to us. We acknowledge that You are our Father, and that You love us. And then next we humbly repent for the ways in which we haven't lived as if that were true, for the ways that we've lived as if that were not true and have thrashed about screaming and yelling about the circumstances that we’ve navigated ourselves into. Forgive us God. You are present. We acknowledge that You wouldn't leave us. You died for us. You wouldn't abandon us. You are with us every moment, every breath, and You love us, and You have bestowed upon us Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. We acknowledge that we’re just not always paying attention. In fact, maybe we’re paying attention far less than we think. So, come Holy Spirit. Once again, we open ourselves to You and Your power of sanctification and transformation within us. Come Holy Spirit we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi, I’m calling in today because I have been feeling that I’ve been needing to make this call for several weeks, but I was out of the country for part of that time so now I’m finally doing it. But I’ve been feeling that…I’ve been feeling the urge to ask everyone to think about how much does Daily Audio Bible mean to you? I know for me it’s meant so much. I’ve been listening to it for about a year now and it’s been incredible, the change that is made in my life. Finally, I understand the word of God and I can talk about it and I can understand things and it’s given me a power and a knowledge that is incredible. And, so, I started donating once a month. I set up a payment where it sends payment once a month and I think that it’s something important that we should all do if it’s valuable to you. It must cost a lot of money and time and effort to make this all happen and it’s wonderful that is free and accessible to all of us but if we want this to continue I think you need to make sure that we, that we, you know, support this financially as well…as well as, you know, all the other ways that we support it by being a community and by gathering together and supporting each other. So, I’m just asking if even if you don’t have a lot of money, I don’t, but even if you can donate $15 a month or if it’s $50 or $100 or whatever it is but just do something that’s every month because this community doesn’t just survive off of words it also requires financial backing. So, I’m just, you know, wanting to encourage you all to, if you haven’t already to go onto Daily Audio Bible __, you can set up a monthly donation so that you can…so that this can continue and more people in the future…
Hello Daily Audio Bible family. I’ve called in before and left a name but I’m not leaving my name because of a vicious family member. I just call myself in pain right now. I need you all to pray for me and my family. We’re going through a difficult time. My brother just called me, and we can’t find him. He tried to tell me that he wants to commit suicide and I don’t believe it’s gonna happen because I know God loves me and He loves him. And God’s gonna keep him because I lift him up and prayers. And I just need some more prayer to strengthen me as I go through this, not knowing where my brother is and all the things that he’s going through. He’s going through some really, really, really bad things right now. These things that he can even forgive himself for, but he knows God and he loves God. Please pray that God will reveal Himself to him right at this moment. I know this recording won’t be heard right now but I know God knows the schedule of time and I know your prayers, when they go up they don’t reach back in the past, they change everything. So, I’m asking that you pray for me, that I can be strong, for my brother. And I pray that you would have God keep my brother, keep him alive, and let him understand that this is not the end of the world, that things will get better so that he can forgive himself and that he can love himself like God loves him. Pray for his family, his wife and his children and that he would __ protect him. So, please pray my strength so I can be strong to him because I know God loves us unconditionally and He’s gonna take care of all of us unimaginably and I’m just waiting for that miracle. Let God get the glory…
Hello family, my name is Jill and I’m from the state of Washington. I am married to a wonderful man whose sexaholic. This has been a really difficult last two year transition for me as I discovered it. I was lied to and was more lied to and more lied to and now I feel like I am probably being told the truth. He is involved with multiple groups that are helping sexaholics and most importantly he’s reached out to God. That is something I shut down for quite a while because it was very difficult for me. I shut down my Lord, my Savior but I’m now reaching out to Him again and I would ask that you would pray for us, that God would just capture the heart of our home. We have all adult children, four adult children, and it’s been very trying as some of the blame has come back on me. That’s just been painful. But please family, pray for us that God would just capture our hearts, know how to respond and also that we would reach out for Him to heal us because I have been destroyed as a woman, as a partner, as an identity as a female. Thank you. I appreciate your prayers.
Hi, yeah, this is Joey from Missouri again. Sorry__ is February 8th, 2019 and it is a Friday afternoon. I just wanted to congratulate Beth from Canada on her on her legal permanent residence. Wow, congratulations, that is just wonderful. I just heard your phone call from the February 7th podcast and I just want to say that is just great. You know, sometimes…I think I mentioned I was in the final work…I’m in immigration…and it will take a while sometimes for…for applications to get approved. And sometimes we get that and it’s very easy to lose hope about that and I just want to say congratulations to Beth. And thank you to all of our __ others…so many of them. Duane from Wisconsin, Aright Holy Spirit let’s roll, Jay from New Jersey who is now from Nashville. Thank you for your encouragement. You’re a very special person and I just want to say thank you. And everybody calls, know who you are. Thank you and have a blessed day. I pray for of you. Love you.
Hi, this is Pam from Wisconsin today is February 8th. My husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and we’re just feeling the overwhelming chaos regarding all the decisions that need to be made very rapidly. I do need to get the bills together today, something I’ve been avoiding because I don’t know how they’re going to get to get paid. I ask Jesus to calm my heart and keep my head clear. I had today’s Daily Audio Bible on in the background. Bob from Michigan called with a message for Tyler and gave him 2 Corinthians 1:9-10. That message dear Bob was also a message for us from the Holy Spirit and I thank you. I’ve supported Daily Audio Bible monthly as part of my missions giving for some time. Please believe me when I say your blessings for this community will far outweigh what you give. Please bring us to the Father in prayer as we walk down this road together with Him. Thank you.
