ao3 is up again so i finally get to read about theopin and the au of them, and i love the secret relationship trope but there is just something so much more meaningful if they're truly never meant to be if they have never considered each other more than annoying half-acquaintances

there's something more profoundly hurt when you longing for something you never even care for when it was still available to be care, and is no longer available to be care for when you want to care for it, like starting to like a musician knowing they're no longer active.
