It was his idea to leave you stranded in nothing but a winter coat and thick pants with boots. As cruel the punishment you knew Ivan didn’t want you completely dead. Your pleas for him not to leave you out there in the cold, the wind dangerously picks up the snow to fall on your pathetic head.

Left outside of the backyard of his large estate, with the windows and doors shut with a lock, you can only stare endlessly into the void. Ivan had left you attached to the bars of one of the gates, like some undesirable dog.

Your teeth gnaws and clatter against each other, face heating up to keep the blood flowing through your cheeks. It’s not long hopefully, maybe it’ll be soon for him to return. It wasn’t like you wanted to anger him, Ivan just doesn’t respect your boundaries. And you can’t stand it when he’s clinging to your side whenever you’re at reach, arms bulking and tight from all of those clothes. Makes you remember he’s a man who won’t have any problem snapping you in half.

The sky was still bleached in a gray-ish blue tone, staring up at the sky with no sign of life or birds passing by. Your nose is runny and your lungs are having trouble breathing warmer air, 40 minutes have passed and nothing.

How loose was the leash?

Fingers nearly numb thread carefully at the leash, you can’t really feel the leather unless you applied enough pressure. A ping of hope flares in your stomach, as your fingers curl around the old leash in a tug, a slight stretch to its polish can be seen. You kept pulling until the damn thing snapped, your body tumbling backwards down the pile of snow. It hurt still. Letting out quick huffs you scramble to foot quickly, unlocking the gate with feverish force.

It creaks loudly as you throw it open, boots crunching down the snow as you forced your body to move forward through the challenging wind. There’s fear rumbling in your chest, fear of what might happen if you gotten caught. You’d rather die in the snow than find out.

You didn’t have a plan on where you were going, you never ventured out this far from outside the yard. That’s the least of your problems at the moment, all you can think of is getting away from that place. Not his hands on you, or how the servants looked the other way to your cries. Not Ivan’s fake sense of coos in your ears, not his hands ripping the roots of your scalp.

A grunt leaves your mouth as you trip down a steep hill, bracing yourself by cowering your head and arms against your body. Snow engulfs your face, not melting as it stings your skin. You’re not sure how long you’ve been running, but your legs are screaming and burning for you to stop, any more movement had caused you to become delirious, the cold catching up quickly. Your throat feels clogged with how intoxicated the air was, getting harder to breath as you rolled over to your back. The right side of your ankle twisted, bruised with blotches that’ll appear any moment.

Nails dig into the soft yet solid snow, out of frustration your hands clench tightly. You didn’t want to die, if anything it should’ve been a cool death not dying from hypothermia. The cold doesn’t let you cry, your tears would be swallowed and dried as quick as it came. Oddly enough, you’re starting to miss your bed. Comfy, fluffy with fur that always felt warm.

���That looks like a face of regret. Are you done throwing a tantrum little one?”

It’s sick, his voice makes your heart drop to your stomach as you force yourself to focus on him. Half of his body is present, peaking near the cliff as he slightly bends to muse at your unresponding body.

“You didn’t run that far haha, I gave you an hour to flee yet you took the time to catch a cold instead. You weren’t always the brightest.”

In a blink, Ivan is cradling you. You aren’t sure how fast he got down from that cliff , but you couldn’t care, not when his hands slowly heat your cheeks to life.

But Ivan’s touch was never kind, his gloved hands press themselves deep into your skin, feeling the rattle of your teeth chattering together. Your face is shoved against his chest, his scarf heavily smelling of his cologne and a hint of copper.

“Maybe leaving you outside wasn’t the best idea…but that’s ok! I have other ideas on your punishment, this time don’t try running away. I’d hate to have you sick.”

His smile dawned upon you, his cherry attitude was nothing but a tempered time bomb. His hold on you tightens, making your hiss in pain as the sight of his mansion grows closer. Back to that forsaken place.

The roar of the snowy winds was kinder than him.

You solemnly look at the leash that laid on the ground where you left it, curling yourself deeper into Ivan’s hold as he hums a tune. The house itself is warming, making blood flow more easily as you pant greedily at the air.

“Little [Name] is so silly, shivering so cutely. Let me nurse you back to health ja?”

He sings into your ear softly, not noticing you’ve been placed on a bed. Your bed, and your wet clothes soak the sheets. Ivan plants quick kisses on your face, now suddenly hot. Your mind feels a little frazzled, wincing when he unties your boots and rub circles around your ankle. Noticing the bruise that blossomed on your skin, he presses his index finger down while his grip increases in strength.

Twisting it back into place, it leaves you screaming in pain, but your mouth can barely let out any proper sounds due to the throaty cold. Instead sounding like a gurgled mess, choking on spit that stings and coats your throat like acid.

Your pained whimpers don’t go unnoticed as he tsk’d softly, large fingers kneading the flesh, but not in comfort.

“You know, I have been too soft on you. Spoiled little thing, why run from a place that has a roof and feeds you everyday. Perhaps I should be more strict with you, Natalia suggest we start with a more proper approach, you must depend on us as we need you. So don’t make this harder than it has too.”

The name sends chills down your spine, your limbs try to move but the frost as completely wiped the energy out of you. Your fingers are numb to everything and all it touched, so even when Ivan held them with his. Your ears catching the cracks of bones. Flesh and small muscles fractured as he smiles kindly at you. Like you were beautifully even paralyzed.

So… this is. A bit of an emotional post for me to make, and I’ve rewritten it a few times and cried over it far more, just because I’ve been feeling very lost and hopeless recently, and I just… really want some advice. Some suggestions. … Some comfort, even.

I turn 20 in April. I spent my last “milestone” birthday, the 18th, half-convinced that I was dying because I had undiagnosed POTS, narcolepsy, and intense chronic pain that genuinely made me feel like I was on death’s door… so, uh, I didn’t really do anything special for that birthday. Or my 19th, as I was also in very poor health… though I’ve now come to the understanding, two years later, that this “poor health” is just. Not ever going to get better.

I haven’t done something “big” for a birthday since I was a lot younger. And with the way things are shaping up for me, this might be the last birthday I’m able to share with my family before I’m inevitably kicked out because I just can’t keep up with college and the deal was I either stay in school or work to stay at home, and I can’t get a physical job for reasons that’ll become clearer later on.

So… This all to say, I’d like to do something “big” for this birthday. But… I have some pretty heavy restrictions. I don’t have a wheelchair (The cheapest one I have my eye on is about $300 out of pocket, and I just. Don’t have that money. Ive been trying to save up for that, though, as it would help me get an actual job + let me get out of my house more with significantly less worry… I’ve been begging my doctors to help me get it covered by insurance, but they claim that it’ll just make me regress, which is… a whole other issue) and can only walk maybe 5-10 minutes with a cane before I need to rest. If I push myself, I’ll be bedbound with blinding pain for the next day or so, or I’ll just straight up pass out — or, usually, both. The weather is turning warmer, and I have a severe case of heat intolerance, so I can’t be outside for long.

I’m not a fan of museums or aquariums or the like… Im not smart enough for escape rooms… Bowling is out. Most arcades are out. I don’t live in a very accessible town… I don’t really want to go and see a movie; that just doesn’t feel like “enough” of a thing to go and do… So, my point here is: Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could possibly go out and do? Just random local town suggestions… I like writing and reading and art and animals haha, if that helps spark anything…

Sorry if this is just… dumb. I probably won’t get a lot of answers anyway, I’m just… I want to do something. And I’d just like some suggestions… maybe some reassurance that it’ll get better someday, and I’ll be able to have a normal birthday again… I dunno’.

OKAY i know this is for other effects but im just gonna list of All the effects i can think of off the top of my head

definitely fatigue. it’s harder for him to leave his sleeping bag in the mornings and travel as long as usual and climb and jump debris like he’d have no problem doing before. cross probably starts carrying him around on his back more

similar thing but he definitely gets tired quicker and sleeps more. both he and cross keep waiting for the night he’ll lay down and stop moving entirely

coughing. and generally finding it harder to breath. there’s SO much shit in the air that his soul’s so very exposed to that’s gotta fuck with whatever respiratory situation he’s got going on. also plays into the fatigue and means he can’t keep moving for long intervals

maybe even nausea??? maybe not as prominent but it probably happens sometimes

this has definitely been mentioned already but visually his soul’s a lot dimmer and more unstable. it flickers more and wobbles almost constantly like a dying flame or lightbulb. maybe it even looks smaller. and it’s whirring and beating is quieter and slower. and it’s probably less expressive (doesn’t shift into a heart as often in situations where it would etc)

he feels colder. he’s already cold natured but it’s made worse by everything going on with him. and he shivers a lot too. gusts of wind are especially bad

probably more susceptible to sicknesses. even if they’re short term and not super serious they do happen more often. if he got something worse than a cold it’d probably kill him

also strong negative emotions like despair are almost painful (maybe not literally but it’s damn close) in some way. definitely doesn’t help, probably speeds things up. (haha lovelorn arc)

same kinda thing, physical injuries are made worse just by how weak a state he’s in

he probably has a harder time concentrating like on fights or whatever. it’s like he has a constant cold or fever y’know that feeling. brain fog

this is more of in the emotional sense but he definitely feels more defeated and hallow and devoid of hope. before he always had some kind of fire and hope and Desire for survival but now it’s like. whats the point. he still makes jokes and quips and tries to be Normal for both his and cross’s sake but as time goes on it’s more and more evident that it is very much not normal. it feels like he’ll just cave in on himself

also more of an emotional thing but i think he gets more clingy towards cross. because he, they both do, knows how bad things have gotten or are or are going to get and wants to be as close to him as possible. for safety. comfort. out of fear that when cross’s gone is when killer will finally dust and then that’ll be it. to savor any time he gets with him. for warmth

they both start going off on their own much less

all of this gradually and continuously gets worse as time passes and he doesn’t get better. like he’s decaying. it starts off with mildly concerning stuff like a dimmer soul and some coughing but becomes him laying curled up in his sleeping bag for days on end

YEAH theyll get that bag lol this comeback could really make them gain new opportunities and establish a name inside kpop where its only specifically for them. definitely not just gain money but more fans as well. im just wary of the devil because this card usually leads to no good. there might have tendencies they’ll get to sabotage themselves in the long run or for this upcoming season of their comeback (issues incoming) so they should be careful and not be careless just because they already established a name. its best to be cautious.

and it seems like its likely that enhypen are really expecting more and higher sucess too with this upcoming comeback and will just become disappointed with the outcome in the end because they expected more… however this is all honestly in ther head :) it’ll really bring more sucess and opportunities to them! they just expect high outcome most of the time which is not technically a bad thing but 😁 (they’re really driven people and craves for sucess.)

(another experiment song maybe?) song or like its instrumental could be something that isn’t really heard inside kpop honestly. Now focusing on AoS and 3oWr, for AoS — royalty? mountains? ocean? i can see a crown included? and of course a sword! :) which was already shown in the concept trailer.

Oh my..I didn’t even realize it has been a month since I have spoken! I did not think it had been that long, maybe 15 days or so, but not a month! I apologize so much, I had thought it had been much shorter of a time and I had planned to speak in maybe a week from then, but life got in the way.

But anyways, I have just been mingling around, relaxing or working. I will reveal that I am not an adult yet, but work still takes up a lot of my time. Along with trying, for my first time, AU August Writing Challenge so that’s taken up my time as well. I hope you don’t mind.

At the moment I just finished work and are going to see my auntie at a camping site. I will admit that I am very eh about that as I have just finished work and want to relax and sleep, but my mom had convinced me haha. I don’t think going to a camping site will be good as I am in shorts (short shorts to be exact) and this time of year there is a lot of miskitos out so I am sure I am going to get bit, unfortunately.

Other than that, my summer has been pretty relaxed and quiet, not really doing anything but having no motivation to get up and move. These days I mostly read, write, listen to music and work. I am also going on a vacation tomorrow, so that is exciting!

The Zine that you and I are in has been going good as well, my art piece is finished but I’m deciding not to hand it in until later incase I want to change something or want to touch up on it a bit. I noticed you handed yours in though, and I love it a lot! The butterfly glowing on Optimus’s finger is such a nice touch, and the colours!! The colours are so well picked out and go well together, and I love the shading, and the background as well, it’s really unique! ^^

Other than me, I love your recent art pieces! The Lambo-verse art was funny, I giggled when I saw it. Sunstreaker looks very confused while Sideswipe looks intrigued! Of course, I love your little persona (?) wearing a detective hat haha! It was a nice touch. As well as the show down art! Oh my did I love reading that, Sunstreaker, against Mirage? That’ll be fun to read/watch about. I love your Mirage design as well, I don’t think I’ve said that. I love his looks and how elegant he looks in your style, especially when he looks at Sunstreaker and says ‘and notoriously cocky.’ It just makes my heart jump because as much as I love Sunstreaker, your Mirage has a special place in there as well.

The rest of your art I unfortunately don’t know much about in terms of their fandoms and all that, but I really love the Multiverse Vistas content piece! The gold with darker colours just makes it..pop out more and become the centre of the piece while not being overwhelming, and the glowing of the eyes drags you to them as if in a trance, even if they are not real. You make them seem so real it’s unbelievable! Actually, as it’s you, it is believable, all your art pieces are wonderful and seem real in their own little ways.

The Sunstreaker with the gum was also a great piece that I enjoyed. Sunstreaker really is a beauty and beautiful, even when he is grumpy haha, I still love him a lot.

Hello there Meister~ (I'm reasonably certain it's you anyway) It has been a while hasn't it? No worries on the time though, real life is a thing, so I'm happy to hear from you whenever you have the time.

Minus your work, it sounds like you're having a fun, relaxing summer~ I've never heard of Au August, but the concept would be a fun challenge to work on. I'm pretty sure that this is too late, but I advise going with fresh basil to a campsite. Rubbing fresh basil on your skin is a natural and nice-smelling way to keep mosquitos off you. I have baby skin that panics at anything I try to put on it, so I like using the basil leaves instead of a chemical repellant. Downside is you'll smell faintly of Italian food.

So far as the Zine goes, I won't lie I kind of wanted to keep mine back too for the same reasons. BUT. I was afraid I'd forget to post it since life has been kind of demanding and tiring. It shames me to admit I was late on another zine's final submission.

I'm very happy to hear that you liked my Optimus though, I really hope that Mr. Cullen likes it too when he gets the zine....

Mirage vs Sunny makes me so excited! I had the idea randomly one day and went !gasp! How had I not thought of it before?

I designed Mirage to be "old/moonlight glamour" vs Sunstreaker's "new/sunshine glamour" so I'm happy that that came across to you. Mirage is a special bean to me as well. I enjoy Sunstreaker, but I think it's good to take him down a notch or two once in a while and Mirage is perfect for that job. (It's alright though, I make sure he gets pictures like the bubblegum one to keep him satisfied)

I had a lot of fun working on the Multiverse Vistas piece. It took longer than usual to do, with all the layers I used on the character, but it was an interesting challenge. I didn't win anything for it (unless I placed in the popularity category which is doubtful at this point) but I'm flattered that you found Nanook to be compelling.

So after rereading the start of the Beklena romance, I noticed that after Rebekah kisses Elena for the first time, in every scene after that she stops calling her 'Elena', she now just calls her darling. This is in contrast to Klaus who strictly only calls her Elena now. This greatly differs from the story's beginning where Klaus used pet names for her and Rebekah mostly referred to her as "Klaus's blood bag" or just nothing at all. Even though Klaus is still in his feels, he has come to see Elena as a person and not a catalyst and he does value her (although she does not know that because she thinks he hates her). Rebekah on the other hand loves Elena but it's more of a selfish love, she wants Elena to be completely devoted to her but at the same time, she feels entitled to do whatever she wants with Stefan when Elena doesn't do what she wants (becoming a vampire). Unlike Stefan, Rebekah does not respect her wishes, and she does not seem to respect her as a person either. So she essentially wants to have her cake and eat it too. They were enemies, then friends, then lovers. Their friendship was honestly more genuine than their relationship. At least right now. The tide might change. Well, depending on whether or not Klaus will keep his mouth shut. Spending time with Elena at the manor helped her to understand that she was not her enemy and that she was another victim of her brother's unfortunate love and ire. The early chapters of their romance were perfect UNTIL Elena dropped the bomb that she was not ready to spend eternity with her. Rebekah was hurt and took that as a rejection and we all know how Rebekah reacts when she feels hurt. Rebekah respected Elena a lot more as a friend than she has so far as a girlfriend. Since Rebekah was not taught how to love purely, she sees love as a way to manipulate and control.

You're onto something SERIOUS with the names thing-- Klaus of course thought he saw Elena as herself before the big reveal in chapter 41, but he still peppered her with nicknames, the same as everyone else-- it's once the final veil drops and he sees Elena as her true self, FINALLY, that he drops that and now exclusively calls her Elena. In a thematic sense, this is because he finally understands her as an individual, and sees her, and can now no longer call her anything other than by her name. It's more intimate than calling her dear heart or love or sweetheart (he stopped calling her love around the time he thought he fell in love with her, so pretty early, but was still calling her other things).

This excerpt from chapter 3 comes to mind:

When Klaus uses pet names on her, Elena can sense a certain level of vague, possessive affection, the kind of affability that’ll smile while it tears your throat out. It makes her skin crawl when he calls her sweetheart or love, but there’s nothing immediately threatening about it. His endearments are all insinuation. Rebekah’s, on the other hand… Elena senses that darling is the verbal equivalent of Rebekah holding a dagger at her throat. Worse, really. Rebekah’s teeth are literally scraping against the underside of her jaw.

(lol and also this was the first time Elena was subconsciously attracted to Rebekah haha)

Rebekah called her darling and other things before, except they were said in cruelty, and now she means the endearment for true. It's partly just how she speaks-- it's a holdover from another time-- and partly this little flip that indicates like... how precarious these endearments are with the Vampire Rebekah. It's different from what Klaus is doing... not sure Rebekah has ever had the same difficulty in seeing Elena as an individual so much as seeing her as a person at all.

Your point that their friendship was maybe better than their relationship has a lot of truth to it... like, it was better when Rebekah wanted less from Elena. It's in a vampire's nature to consume down to the very last drop, and so, now that Rebekah is fully in love with Elena and determined to have her, Elena is in a much more dangerous, much unhappier position, because now Rebekah has her sights set on how to possess her in a way Elena isn't really willing to be possessed.

She knows that Tory can't age, but she doesn't know Rupert has the ability to change appearances with alchemy. So the woman she saw in the carriage could have been a disguised Tory, or it was another person. After all, would Rupert, who is so guarded, allow some random person to get that close to him and pretend to be the empress? In both timelines he insisted Tory/Lari be his Empress or he'll be alone. But it's open to interpretation either way, which I found interesting

- Ah I forgot to mention, that it’s cute that Rupert thinks that Lari was coughing from the cold instead of awkwardness. lari was thinking how it’s a warm sunny summer day, there’s no way she could have gotten a cold. She was also so stiff from being so close to Rupert that she couldn’t properly get Jeffery to move quicker, so Rupert took the reigns and let her rest during the ride home. He’s that thoughtful and attentive!

- Lari was a bit surprised that he doesn’t seem to have any concrete plans to marry Tory yet. Excluding his seemingly random proposal to her, he’s usually very careful and meticulous with all his plans… so shouldn’t he be planning his marriage with Tory? Oh. Guess not? He seemed like he didn’t have any plans right now so maybe that’ll happen later?

- Rupert is as straightforward as ever “Marriage? I suppose, if it’s useful.” marriage as a concept means nothing to him. In Vol 5, he tells Lari again that marriage is meaningless to him, that he could choose Tory because she’s someone he trusts instead of one of the powerful noble ladies, but even then, he won’t, because he’s only offered a proposal to one person - Lari, who turned it down. He has no intention of even considering marriage to anyone else. Meanwhile, after becoming a couple in Vol 6 he thinks marriage is the best idea ever because he likes her, she likes him back, and she wants to marry for love, SO ITS THE BEST THING TO GET HER TO STAY WITH HIM~~<3

- The way they adapted the novel part where RupeLali are talking about her dreams of a romantic marriage is portrayed as the usual Rupelali bantering, I had the feeling of more seriousness in the novel.

- Here, Lari points out that she doesn't see Tory around anymore. In the novel version of 88 iirc, Rupert had mentioned that after he apprehended her about the poisoning incident, she would often coop herself in her room and not see him as often either (hmmm... what is she doing ...?)

- "as well as doing some occasional paperwork for Rupert" - While she was busy helping Rupert out, the novel mentions that Rupert started giving her more attention and consideration than before. She wasn't sure how good she was as a spy watching over Ventibolt and Gorten, and wasn't sure how good her information was, but Rupert never stopped her when she came to him to discuss the information she obtained. Interesting how they chose Irene as the maid's name (I was using Elaine)

it’s been awhile since I posted here, that’s neither a good or a bad thing. I don’t know what this means, but when I opened this blog and saw my last posts I felt weird because I didn’t remember making them, I guess I forgot about that time this year. maybe I just forgot because this year has felt so long and exhausting, maybe I blocked it out, I don’t know.

around that time and since I’ve been struggling severely with disordered eating and body dysmorphia. it was really awful for a while, then there was a bit of peace because I subconsciously convinced myself that I could be on ozempic soon, and now it’s definitely come back in full force. there’s been financial issues recently, so my hope of the ozempic pretty much disappeared immediately. although there is another option that is essentially the same thing that I really hope I can get on soon.

my weight has fluctuated extremely this year; at the beginning I was about 56-58kg, which isn’t thin by any means and I still had major weight gain in my stomach and legs, then it went up to 67kg, and then 77kg. bizarrely, I got weighed about three or four weeks after that 77kg and I went down to 73kg. I was confused, but happy. two or three weeks later I was back to 77kg. this weight gain occurred during the month or so when I was vigorously exercising, walking about 4K steps every second day, but I’m probably subconsciously exaggerating that to make myself feel less responsible for the weight gain. that was a while ago, but I have no doubt now I must be over 80kg, my gut (haha) is saying probably 83-85kg.

I’ve gone to doctors, I’ve tried everything. however, every single one has said my hormones are fucked up and that it’s a likely cause for the rapid weight gain. I was advised to see an endocrinologist, but because of the financial issues I don’t think that’ll be happening anytime soon. now that I’m typing this, I think my weight despair came back when I realised that.

I’m devastated about it. it just keeps getting worse, and because it depresses me and upsets me so much I immediately try to cope with food and binging, which obviously only makes the problem worse. now all of me is fat, horribly, horribly, fat: my belly is disgusting, I’ve gone from looking pregnant to looking like I have a middle aged man’s beer gut, I have more deep, purple stretch marks than I’ve ever had in my life, my thighs are gigantic, I have this incessant double chin, everything is fat.

a particularly devastating aspect of all of this is that I just simply do not fit into my clothes anymore; things that used to be oversized and baggy are now tight, I only wear sweatpants now because I can barely button up any of my pants, I’ve actually popped the zip on about two of them which made me want to vomit.

and yet, I eat, and eat, and eat, and eat. recently, more than ever, I’ve been wanting to become anorexic, doesn’t that sound insane? I’m very aware of toxic ED rhetoric and thinking patterns, I try not to give into them. I used to tell myself I just want to have a flat stomach, which is still true, but the fatter I get I can’t help but desperately want everything, absolutely everything, to be as thin as possible. recently I’ve been especially susceptible to legs, especially thighs.

I want to be anorexic. I want to be on ozempic, I don’t care how sick it makes me. I want to be anorexic, but I just don’t have the will power to give up food and I feel so pathetic for it. I feel ridiculous for wanting both.

right now I’m really stuck. I don’t know what to do. I feel like all I can do at the moment is sit on my ass and pray and hope and plead that I’ll be able to try the ozempic alternative soon and that it’ll work.

I wish I could cut every piece of fat off me, feed it to pigs, burn it, destroy it. I’ve even thought about tagging some of these posts with ED-related tags in hopes that people may see my despair and give me tips, encourage me to destroy myself in the most effective way possible, or scrutinise me for being weak, gluttonous, and obese.

Does JK have a crush on Dilara? It seems like the most popular opinion at the moment. I don’t want to spoil anything obviously but all I will say is that JK’s realisation of his own feelings will be a significant moment for him.

He did lie to Lia - but that could be about anything. It’ll become obvious when it happens that that’s what he was lying about, but that’ll happen in due time.

He did resist her attempts at setting him up, haha. I chalked that down broadly to him just not being comfortable at parties but honestly, I’m happy for readers to read whatever they want into that scene because I deliberately try and leave some ambiguity in these things.

HEY, I hope you don’t mind me rambling on your post, but “dragons + Kingdom Hearts” was like...the perfect combination to feed the brainworms, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.  Thank you, haha.

Like--an FF world or Disney world or something with dragons in it would probably make the most sense, but also...technically, technically there’s nothing saying that dragons couldn’t appear in a KH-original world...and Scala’s been pretty unexplored so far...

Sigurd also like--fought and killed the dragon Fafnir in Norse mythology.  So, you know.  I think dragons in Scala could be justified.  And then Sigurd could have a rematch.

There’s a lot of open ocean in Scala so I’d imagine maybe very aquatic-based dragons?  You get smaller ones that maybe people keep in ponds or aquariums or something as pets, but then once you get into deeper waters they get bigger and scarier.  (Could get into a whole light-darkness thing if bioluminescence gets involved?  Maybe there are legends or superstitions related to that.)

There are a lot of abandoned islands in Scala, so like--they could probably easily take those over as nesting grounds, etc.  Little baby dragons wandering around with stolen Keyblades.

It becomes like...a rite of passage for young Keyblade wielders to try to go out to one of the islands and touch one/steal a scale/etc.  Their teachers probably try to put a stop to it because they could eat you in bite please do not, but nobody listens.

Imagine the bragging rights if you actually got to befriend one though.

Brain totally goes out looking.  Just for research and definitely not because he’s trying to make friends with one or anything.

He can only befriend the small ones/babies and has an army of miniature dragons following him around at any given moment begging him for treats.

They could be like his own personal spy network though.

ALTERNATIVELY, Brain’s the reason they’re there.  He made the Spirit pets.  It’s possible.  Technically.

IMAGINE A BIG ONE GUARDING THE ISLANDS THOUGH.  Nobody can get to the abandoned islands because there’s just this huge dragon in the way that’ll destroy any boats that get close.  Fighting it doesn’t go super well; you have to actually talk to it and prove that you’re not a threat.

UH, I’ll stop rambling, haha, but basically--YES. DRAGONS IN ML WOULD BE GREAT.

Introvert & Extrovert (Rose Lavelle x Reader)

A/N: This was requested, haha my first request! (: Yeah, enjoy! I hope I did it justice. Also I think writing for Rose is becoming something I like lol. She’s too pure for this world. Also Reader plays for the Seattle Storm (:

“Get up! Get up! GET UP.” You hear Sue shout from outside your room. Groaning you pull your blanket over yourself.

“It’s so early.”

“You still want free housing?” Megan shouts and you grumble as she knocks on the door.

You quickly kick your feet on your mattress like a toddler, the blackout curtains doing their job. A little too well for Sue and Megan’s liking.

Megan and Sue helped you get comfortable into the city. Being drafted to the Seattle Storm was always a dream of yours, playing beside one of the greatest, Sue Bird. Although Diana always tries to convince you she’s better and she often tries to persuade you into maybe joining her. Although you’d love to, Seattle has become your home. It’s been your home for three years now. Plus Megan and Sue have become basically your mothers. Don't do this, don't do that. Y/N don't forget your shoes, don't forget your sweats.. again.

“Come on kid.” Megan says knocking on your door again.

“But I’m tired. We had practice yesterday, I’m beat.” You groan out as you flip onto your stomach.

"You handle this, I have to get going." Megan says as she leaves.

“We’ll see a certain pale person.” Sue softly says from the other side of the door.

“That’s not fair you know you can’t pull that card.”

“But I just did. Now get ready so we can head to the stadium. Stewie is waiting for us.”

“Fine. But I’m tired. Don’t expect me to stay awake on the drive.” You say as you grab the first thing you can find that’s appropriate for today’s event.

But also something nice and comfortable because it is cloudy and windy. Typical.

As you had said previously, you were in fact asleep the whole drive to the stadium. Head against the window, your mouth slightly opened as you try to gain back those hours of sleep that you were robbed of because of this trip.

Stewie woke you up as you had arrived at the stadium.

“Did anyone grab my gum?” You ask as you get out of the car and head towards the stadium.

“I have it Y/N.” Sue says.

“What about my-.”

“Yes Y/N, even your slides.” Sue says as you walk into the stadium. “If I didn’t I wouldn’t be a good guardian now would I?”

You all walk onto the pitch, the Reign training for the game that’ll be happening soon. You feel an arm resting on top of your shoulder, you look to see who’s arm that belongs to and that arm belonged to Sue.

“I look good right?” You whisper to Sue.

“Oh for sure kid, rocking those nice shoes I bought you, a little of some over expensive stuff Megan bought you. All good, all good, you’re dressed wonderfully to impress a certain someone.”

“Don’t sweat it, it’s not like you two haven’t been dating for like a little less than six months?” Alysha says.

“Hey I’m just trying to look good for the people.” You say as you fix your hoodie.

“I think she meant for the girlfriend.” Stewie says wiggling her eyebrows, nudging your side with her elbow.

“So am I free to roam around now?” You ask Sue.

“No. Why are you always so impatient?”

“I have a short attention span you know that.” You say bouncing on your heels.

“Sue how do you deal with them all the time? It’s too much.” Stewie says and you scoff.

“That hurts.” You say looking at her.

“Trust me it’s not easy.” Sue says.

“Oof. Now that hurt.” You say as you walk away from the trio and over to Jewell. “They’re bullying me.”

“I got you kid, no worries.” Jewell says and you smile.

Meanwhile while Jewell kept you company, on the field there was quite the people surrounding said pale person.

“Rose, I see a certain someone.” Sofia says, making the cheeks of said pale person to heat up.

“Go talk to them.” Tziarra says.

“Why are you all like this?” Rose says as she walks away.

“Because we’re nosy.” Jess says, but is immediately hit on the arm by Lauren. “I mean we want you to spend time with them?”

“Nice try.” Rose says as she walks further away from everyone. “I’m very happy right here.”

"You two are just so adorable. The way Y/N just loves you is pure love." Ally says.

“I agree. Y/N has big heart eyes for you, just like you do for them.” Tziarra says as she puts her hand on Rose’s shoulder. “They are your number one fan. Just like you are theirs.”

“Y/N makes sure to hype you up every time you play. Posting you all over their social media.” Sofia says. "What I would do to have someone treat me like that."

“You would think that after your very cute picnic together, you two would be more affectionate.” Bethany says and Rose laughs.

“Please. We all know Rose hates too much spotlight.” Nikki says.

“The pictures of you two were absolutely cute, the polaroid pictures were also VERY cute.” Sofia says making Rose blush. "Give us more."

“Alright girls, the Seattle Storm are here as special guests.” Laura says as she walks towards the team, the team right behind her.

You walk over to Rose grabbing her arm as you pull her away from the crowd.

“Good luck, I’ll be cheering you on from the stands.” You whisper to Rose, giving her hands a squeeze. “You’ll do great.”

“I’m a little nervous.” Rose says and you smile softly.

“Just beat Portland’s ass. Do your crazy footwork and everything, make their defense fall and crumble!”

“You want us to win that bad?” Rose asks and you nod your head.

“Fall and crumble!” You shout.

“Everyone’s staring babe.” Rose whispers and you look around.

“I swear none of you know what privacy is.” You say as you pull Rose close into you.

“No we do, we’re just nosy.” Jess says. “I mean we’re- oh what the hell, we’re nosy.”

“Come on kid.” Sue says as she pats your shoulder.

“Is this new?” Megan says pointing to you and Rose.

“No?” You say confused.

“Sue?” Megan says as she looks over to Sue.

“It’s not new and you’d know that if you would pay attention to them instead of having an obsession over what kid here should wear when we go out.” Sue says and you nod your head.

“Yeah! Give me attention.”

“I do. Plenty.” Megan says flicking your ear.

“Suuuure.” You say and turn to face Rose. “Anyway, good luck baby.”

“Mmm.. Give me some time to get used to it.” Megan says as she walks away.

“Hey Rose, wrap it up! We get it you’re dating but you don’t have to rub it in.” Sofia shouts.

“Yeah kid we get it, come on let’s go.” Stewie says.

“Before I leave look at my shoes.” You say lifting your foot up. “Customized and bought by my good friend Sue.”

“I’m ‘good friend’ now?” Sue says. “I’m basically your mother.”

“Not now friend.” You whisper as you try and wave her away.

“Sixteen.” Rose says with a smile, tracing the number that’s been engraved on your shoes. “Cute.”

“We get it you both have the same number.” Sofia shouts.

“Fate baby!” You shout back with a smirk.

“Come on you. Bye Rose, we’ll see you after the game.” Sue says as she drags you away.

“Hey!” You shout. “Bye baby, kick Portland’s ass! Long live the Pacific Northwest! Long live the Pacific Northwest!”

“Why are you like this kid? I give you love, food, a home. Why must you do me like this?” Sue asks and you smirk.

“You love me despite me being weird. Come on let’s grab some food so I can maybe throw on you when I get excited or frustrated.” You say.

“Oh great. Yes wonderful.” Sue says as you both walk away from the pitch. "How Rose puts up with you, is beyond my mind."

“Y/N does know Portland is also considered the Pacific Northwest right?” Stewie asks Sue.

“Oh yeah, she chooses to ignore it though.”

After grabbing some snacks for mostly yourself, that will also most likely end up on Sue because you tend to just throw whatever you have when Rose plays. But also is it really your fault that Sue is the one who ends up the way she does? No, there’s other places to sit. So no it’s not your fault. It’s hers.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING! PASS THE BALL!” You shout as you jump up from your seat. “PASS IT!”

She is quick to grab the bag she brought with your stuff, searching for what could potentially save her from food getting dropped on her again.

“Y/N hand.” Sue says, you’re too busy watching the game to even bother why she wants your hand.

Sue places something in your hand, you’re quick to realize it’s your stress relief ball that she bought for you. Not only is it for stress relief, but seeing as your attention span is very short, it sort of distracts you.

“Oh thanks. I’m better.” You say as you take your seat.

Meanwhile the whistle blew signaling halftime.

“I swear I can hear the kid.” Megan says as she walks into the tunnel.

“Rose, your girlfriend is absolutely my favorite person.” Sofia says, tapping Rose on her back. “You can tell they know their stuff.”

“Yeah that’s Y/N for you.” Rose says with a smile, looking up to see where you and the team are sitting. “Y/N is the best.”

“Ten dollars Sue already gave Y/N the stress relief ball.” Jess says.

“Twenty dollars, that Sue gave it to Y/N by the fifteenth minute.” Lauren says. “Rose?”

“I know my Y/N pretty well, you’re all wrong.” Rose says walking into the locker room.

“Joining us tonight your very own, our very own, Seattle Storm!” You hear the announcer say through the stadium.

Halftime was gone and the game resumed, you were fidgeting the ball in your hand, looking where the ball was going every play. Silently cursing as Rose missed a shot.

Two minutes later Bethany scored. Making the score 1-0. You jumped from your seat as you waved your Reign scarf.

“LET’S GO!” You shout. “Sue support your girl.”

“Oh she knows I do.” Sue says as she and the rest of the team clap as the team had just scored.

“LONG LIVE SEATTLE! The superior Pacific Northwest city!” You shout.

In less then five minutes, Ally had scored, making it 2-0.

“YES!” You shout.

“Why exactly does Y/N not acknowledge that Portland is part of the Pacific Northwest?” Alysha asks Sue.

“Y/N is just Y/N I don’t know what goes through her mind.” Sue says shrugging her shoulder.

“GOAL.” You shout.

Megan lifting her foot up just enough to pat her cleat and pointing up to where you and Sue were. You knew exactly what that meant.

Megan and Sue definitely thought of you as their kid, Megan made sure that when she would get her cleats, to have not only Sue’s number engraved, but yours as well. A little family.

“YEAH MOM!” You jokingly shout which Megan heard surprisingly, which made her laugh.

As the final whistle blew Rose made her way over to Sofia and Bethany.

“Assisting for your girlfriend’s mom huh?” Sofia says chuckling.

"Shut up." Rose mumbles, cheeks heating up as she looked your way.

“Who’s superior?! SEATTLE!” Rose hears you shout. “Long live the superior Pacific Northwest city!”

“Oh god.” Rose mumbles, cheeks heating up as she looks away.

“The shy one and the extrovert. How romantic.” Jess says walking past Rose and the others. “Good job team.”

“Y/N’s asking for you.” Alana tells Rose.

Rose made her way towards you, big bright smile on her face. The smile you loved and the person you loved dearly.

“Baby you did great! 3-0!” You say and Rose smiles at you. “Proud of you.”

“I’m glad you were able to come.” Rose says as she reached for your hand. “I’ll see you outside?”

“I’m actually going to dinner with the team.” You say awkwardly.

“It’s a combined dinner. Both teams.” Sue says.

“Oh then I’ll see you outside.” You say with a smile.

“See you then.” Rose says.

“Rose is so shy then there’s you.” Sue says.

“I can be shy too.” You say and Stewie snorts.

“What?”

“It’s impossible.”

“Is not.”

“Is so, now come on we have to go meet the team outside so we can all go to dinner plus I don’t need a grumpy Y/N not being able to see Rose as soon as possible.” Sue says.

“You know me so well.” You say hugging Sue.

“I wonder why.” Sue says as you both walk out of the stadium.

You patiently (sort of) waited for Rose to come outside so you could finally see her. While doing so you happily met some fans, signing some shirts and taking pictures.

As soon as Rose was coming out, you said your goodbye to the fans so you could finally spend some time with your girlfriend.

"Hey you." You whisper as you grab her hands. "Ready to leave?"

"So ready, I'm hungry." Rose says.

You and Rose make your way to the car, leaving your teammates behind.

"So they're together?" Megan asks Sue.

"Megan. Why else would Rose be over all the time." Sue says.

"I don't know. They're so polar opposite. Y/N is more extroverted, Rose is not."

"You gotta admit they are kind of cute." Sue says.

"Kind of? They're so cute." Sofia says walking past them.

“So cute.” Nikki says walking past the couple. “Sue you’re raising a good one.”

“I’m technically her mother too.” Megan shouts, making Sofia and Nikki laugh.

“Yet you didn’t know they’re dating.” Nikki says.

“Long live the superior Pacific Northwest city!” You shout. “We rule the rivalry!”

The girls all look over towards the both of you, Rose shaking her head as she tries to hide the fact that she’s with you.

“They complete each other.” Sofia says.

“Every extrovert needs an introvert. Just like every introvert needs an extrovert.”
