Chris Claremont's X-Men does nothing for me. Nevermind the fact that I know he uses the N word a few times (I read an article on cracked about racism in comics once and that's how I saw this, if you wanted the context), but his characters aren't that good. Besides Nightcrawler, Storm and Colossus. Wolverine is every awful rugged masculinity stereotype, banshee is a big stereotype (didn't claremont choose to have him raised by leprechauns?), They kill off their one native guy within a few issues, it's not good.

Chris Claremont shouldn't have been allowed to write the X-Men, because he taints them. Even Stan Lee and Roy Thomas originally wrote some very fun stuff. But then Claremont comes in and makes it worse. At least for me. So I can't get past him. His story decisions baffle and confuse me.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in
