With my surgery coming up at the end of April, I've been making plans and such to keep myself occupied while I go through the drudgery of recovery. Im gonna be doing a lot of lounging in bed like a sickly Victorian lady, and I can only watch so much TV and play so many video games before I go a bit bonkers

feeling a bit emotional? suppose it's because that important anniversary's in a twentieth of days. i don't know why i get so sad in the winter when life is always so great then. all the holidays. i'm going to work on improving myself this winter. (in my own way and not the typical "self-care" ideals.) i've tried to do it before and currently i'm still doing it but i want to try in a way that doesn't feel as scary. i'll make time for my hobbies and i'll hand in all my assignments and study for my exams and do things with my friends and express myself however the fuck i please. all the while doing this to no-one's knowledge but my own. and it's working, it really is.
