okay but THAT moment in emma adaptations when mr. knightley is about to propose and she thinks he’s talking about harriet but then he goes “my dear emma, for dearest you will always be...” and you can SEE how her face shifts as she slowly realizes that omg! he actually loves her! and it’s such a precious moment that has me giggling every time istg
