You watch him parade around the stage every Friday night. Sometimes he's playing the home stage, other times he books random amphitheaters and dive bars. But today, he's drenched in purple light on the outskirts of Chicago. It's by far the biggest venue Corroded Coffin has played. You sit by the pop up bar, but bodies are packed like sardines in this place. It's hot and loud, but it's worth it to see him so elated.
Even through his streaky eyeliner, you can tell he's adoring the attention of the pit. You can see their red fingernails and shiny tank tops and free flowing hair. You never thought Eddie would be the kinda thing you were attracted to. You also know he's not the kinda guy to be attracted to something like you. You know guys like Eddie usually go for the Pam Andersons and Courtney Loves. The Party girls. Not the ones who have nothing better to do on a Saturday night than watch a romcom alone.
That Sunday, Eddie pulls onto your street. It's late and he has a ringing headache. He couldn't think of anything better to do after touching down in Hawkins again. You'd headed home the night before, and it made his gut wrench knowing he wouldn't get to see you the rest of the weekend.
Your door creaks open, and he's smiling on the other side. He's already leaning against your doorway with the bouquet he bought earlier from the woman selling them on the corner.
"Missed you, bug," he huffs, "Can I come in?"
You step aside without another word, and he hangs his leather jacket on the coat rack like always. Something feels off when he sits on the couch to find you're on the complete opposite side from him. Usually, you're not shy about cuddling up beside him to watch a movie or share snacks or just talk.
He frowns and scoots closer, leaning in to grab at your ankle playfully. You kick his hand away, brow set hard above your lethal glare.
"Sweetheart," he huffs, tilting his head in confusion, "What's going on? Where's my cuddlebug?"
"I dunno, somewhere in Hollywood?"
His eyes nearly pop out of his head at that. You're his favorite girl and you know that. So why're you grilling him now.
"Tell me what's goin' on. What did I miss?"
And you look serious, too. This isn't some running joke he missed out on while he was away. He's not sure who bruised your confidence, but he's sure he'd like to have a few words with them. He hates the way your lip wobbles and your eyes avoid him cause it gives you away. That's how he knows you're heartbroken.
"Eddie," you whine, swiping a hasty tear from your cheek. "I just don't know why you keep me around when you could have any of those girls at your bon vivant gigs."
"Fuck is that supposed to mean, bug?" He barks it out on accident, sitting back on his haunches with a scowl. "I'm sorry, but there's no way I'm gettin’ rid of you."
"Eddie, please... you're gonna make it big and get shipped off to Tinseltown, and I'll still be here, teddy. Probably being someone's lonely, suburban housewife. It's what I'm made for, and that's not what you want."
"You're wrong."
"And maybe you should go," you whisper, choking back a sob and standing from the couch.
"No, sweets, you're wrong," he says, standing and striding over to you, "You've got me wrong, and you've got you wrong."
You cross your arms over your chest and finally look him in the eye.
"'S that so?"
"Yeah," he tuts. And he has the most charming, most dastardly smile you've ever seen, flashing his canines like a gentle killer. "'Cause I'm gonna take you with me."
"Teddy."
"Nope, I'm takin' you with me wherever I go, and there's nothin' you can say to change my mind. Even if you hate my music forever, fine, I'll fix you up in a nice five star anywhere we go. You can sit and watch all the movies you like. You'll be nobody's housewife, baby, 'cause I'm keepin' you."
You roll your eyes, batting away tears when he grabs your hand to pull you back to the couch.
"And what if I said that's not what I want?" you suggest, testing his rockstar resolve with your big, wet eyes and stubborn quips.
"Then I'll give you somethin' else. Anything else. But you're mine no matter what." If only you knew how proud it made him to call you his girl. To know you support him even if you don't love his genre.  "Now, would you come closer? You're killin' me."
You obey with a frigid pout, letting him drape your thighs over his and brush his ring clad paws over your cheeks, down your neck.
"But what about your groupies and the pretty girls at the bars or in the front row?"
"What about 'em?" he says, just barely shaking his head, "I'll have somethin' way better waiting for me."
You chuckle. "You're crazy."
He cocks a brow. "Old news."
When he notices how close you've gotten, he smiles. Your manicured nails graze over his chest with the only light washing over you from the dimly lit kitchen. He can't resist his palm curling behind your neck, pulling you close for a sweet kiss.
"Where d'you keep your vases?" he mumbles, remembering the tulips resting on the little table.
"Kitchen. Above the fridge," you say with your fingers already slotting between his to pull him towards the warm light. He loves you like this: sickly sweet and tender, holding him all gentle in your hot pulse. You go to reach for a painted ceramic vase, but he wraps his arm around you and turns you away.
"Ah ah ah, drop it, sweetheart. That’s my job," he says against your temple, holding the lip of the vase and patting your ass. He takes the bouquet from your grasp and sets both on the counter by the sink. You hand him a pair of scissors and he carefully snips the stems jagged, filling the vase with water.
His stomach flips when you wrap your arms around his waist and clasp your hands at his belt. He sets the prepared arrangement aside and turns in your embrace.
"All done," he says wickedly, palming your face with his wet hands. You jump back with a squeal, pelting a dish rag at this chest.
"Use a towel, you slob!"
He chuckles and wipes his hands on his shirt, tossing the towel over his shoulder and leering at you like he's starved.
"Come here," he mumbles. You go a little shy under his gaze, dropping your head and shuffling towards his presence. He catches you by the hips, dipping down to catch your mouth in a prying kiss. You grin against him and he groans, tugging you tight against his body.
"Always love how soft you are, baby. Surprises me every time." He shakes his wild mane and purses his lips for you to kiss this time.
"Where d'you want the flowers?" he says.
"Bedroom?"
His eyes light up involuntarily, and he grabs the vase, bounding off towards your room gleefully. You jog to catch up with him, and when you enter the threshold, he's expertly positioning the vase next to a stack of books on your dresser.
"Much cleaner than mine," he says, gesturing around the room, "You keep it nice in here."
You shrug. "Could be cleaner."
"You can never see mine," he teases, knowing full well you already have. He slings his arms low on your hips, adoring you in the blue light of dusk. "Can I undress you?"
You bow your head and whisper, "teddy..."
"Not like that. Just wanna hold you."
You kiss his slanted mouth sweetly, nodding.
He reaches for the edge of your soft cotton dress, pulling it up and over your head. He whistles low upon seeing your undergarments, whipping his shirt off and onto the floor somwhere. You giggle, helping him with his belt buckle. He traces your temple with his lips leaving kisses along the way. He steps out of his jeans and lets you lead him around the bed.
His curls sprawl out against your pillows, and he welcomes you into his side with a lazy smile. Your reach to touch his waist and softly feel over the scar below his ribs.
"Little tender, bug," he hisses. You bat your eyes up at him scared, pulling your hand away.
"I'm sorry."
He shakes his head. "No, please," he whispers, cradling your wrist, his eyes locked with yours. He draws the hair away from your neck, replacing it with his fingers to dance down along your spine. You’re warmer than he’s ever felt before and thankful for it. His hands are cold, but he doesn’t have to worry about it for very long when you bring each fingertip to your lips for a kiss.
“You’re my girl, alright? Always,” he whispers and you nod, “always.”

kay so i really don't care if some of this doesn't make sense because this is the first thing i've written in a while that i don't absolutely hate. well this version at least. ending up scraping the first draft because it just seemed wrong and went in a different direction. im glad i did cause im happy with it.
anyway i realize that this may not get much feedback because i took a different approach to it, aka the entire pov is from an OC but i can't bring myself to care too much because i wrote this purely for myself. got inspired, started writing, and i actually liked the content i was writing. end of.
btw the oc doesn't refer to inuyasha as a half-demon because he's unaware he is one and i was too lazy to delve into those waters anyhow.
also for the sake of this oneshot pls dont look too closely at the ranks of diplomat and ambassador. i was too lazy to put much research regarding positions of power so just...go with it.
inspired by @stillunderyourbed's art that can be found here.

It was…quaint. Smaller than what he'd expected. The housing structures looked subpar, there didn't appear to be any wooden walkways, and he could detect the distinct odor or fish in the air with hints of manure. There even seemed to be a perpetual dust cloud hovering at about waist high, thickening from the numerous carts, wagons, horses, and villagers kicking up dirt as they went about their daily lives. Already he felt like there was a layer of dust caked on the inside of his lungs and he wasn't even inside yet.
All in all, it was your typical countryside village, home to simple folk that made a living off of fishing, farming, and trade. The diplomat sneered in disgust. For being the rumored home of the creature strong enough to destroy the despicable Naraku, the village was…less than impressive. And to say that he was underwhelmed would be a vast understatement.
Shifting atop his mount, a chestnut gelding that had been his faithful companion for the last four years, Takeji frowned as he surveyed the sight before him. It was early afternoon, so men were out working in the fields, women were chatting amongst themselves as they laundered clothing at the river, and children were running about, playing and laughing while dogs barked at their heels. He could see the great red torii gate and the stone staircase that led to the shrine and he could hardly refrain from rolling his eyes.
The village was obviously poor, possibly even teetering on the edge of poverty, and instead of feeding themselves for a good long while, they decided to construct that monstrosity. He would never understand the minds of simple common folk. Daft. All of them.
Barely keeping himself from scowling, Takeji reluctantly climbed off his mount and forced himself to move forward into the pathetic excuse for a village. Already he knew he would have to burn his expensive attire; there would be no getting the dust and stench out of it after his ghastly visit. A visit he had not wanted to make, but being a highly revered and prestigious diplomat, it was his duty to travel to far off lands in hopes of establishing a profitable relationship that would ultimately benefit his homeland.
Although, looking around and fighting against the urge to retch at both the nauseating stench and the mere sight of all the unwashed villagers milling around, Takeji wondered not for the first time why he even bothered to accept this task. True, it was said the slayer of Naraku did hail from here, but surely having his homeland associated with this hovel would garner nothing but loss. So why had he agreed to come?
Oh, yes, he mused, grimacing as he stepped over a large manure pile right in the middle of the road. Because apparently, being all chummy with the nation's hero will allow us to have him at our beck and call, because who doesn't want a powerful demon capable of slaying the most evil demon in all of existence as an intimidating presence during negotiations, and let's not forget he alone would be equal to about one hundred soldiers in battle.
Rolling his eyes, Takeji tied his mount to a hitching post, withdrew his satchel with all the necessary paperwork, and set about finding this Inuyasha fellow. He'd been told the demon wore scarlet robes, carried a sword at his hip, and had white hair so no doubt he would stick out like a sore thumb amongst the droll browns and grays of the common folk, which suited him just fine. The sooner he was done, the sooner he could leave because there was no way he was staying even a second more in this village than he had to. Even if the next inn was hours away, he'd make the journey; the inn here was probably as unclean and riddled with bed bugs or something. Ugh. How vile.
Shrugging the satchel over his shoulder, Takeji bit back a groan, sighed, and hadn't even made it a single step before the sound of screaming froze him in his tracks. He gasped and immediately started looking for the danger, body tense, preparing to hop back onto his steed lightning fast and make a hasty getaway.
But as he looked around with wide eyes and a frantically beating heart, Takeji couldn't help but notice that he was the only one that appeared to have heard the sound of terror. The villagers were just continuing to go about their day, calm as you please, either severely deaf or completely uncaring. Takeji was beginning to wonder if he was perhaps hearing things when it happened again, a high-pitched sound that he realized with dread belonged to a child.
Takeji gaped. A child was in danger and nobody cared?! What kind of village was this?! Another shriek pierced the air, and Takeji made a decision. Very well; if these imbeciles weren't going to do anything about it, then he himself would see to the danger. While by no means a swordsman or warrior, he did have some weapons training he could fall back on for this precise reason. Traveling alone was dangerous, and you never knew what you would encounter.
Resolved, the diplomat set his jaw, unsheathed the dagger at his waist, and darted toward the direction the screams were coming from. He meandered between houses, hoped over lazing dogs, dodged startled villagers in his path, and he came into a small clearing by the forest's edge. The sight that greeted him was…not what he expected.
Coming up short, Takeji watched with a befuddled frown as one child chased around two other, slightly older looking children. One might think they were playing a game of sorts, and the diplomat started to believe that was indeed the case…until the one doing the chasing, clad in red, suddenly jumped high into the air, over the heads of the other two children, and landed before them with hands raised.
Hands, Takeji noticed with growing dread and disgust, tipped with claws on each finger and he quickly realized what exactly was happening. That wicked little demon brat, that creature was toying with those helpless children! It was keeping them trapped, preventing them from running away by leaping over their heads and blocking their route of escape! They screamed, the demon child laughed, and so potent was his fury, so enraged was he for the fact that the villagers apparently did not care about what was happening right beneath their noses, Takeji failed to notice the wide smiles on all three of the young one's faces. The blood pounding in his ears prevented him from hearing the gleeful giggles as the two human kids scrambled away from the one clad in red, and without another thought, Takeji moved.
"Run, children!" Takeji ordered as he hurled himself into the clearing, dagger raised as he charged toward the demon brat with a baleful glare. "I will take care of his filthy animal!"
All three children froze in place, eyes wide as Takeji inserted himself between the two human children - twin girls, he idly noted - and the demon spawn that dared raised its claws toward them. The brat stared up at him with big brown eyes and it - she - actually looked confused. Takeji scowled. He would not fall for such a ploy.
"I will not allow you to harm them," he spat and pointed his dagger at her. The child blinked at him and then looked behind him at the two girls who still had not taken the chance to flee. In shock, perhaps? Stunned? No matter; they were safe, so long as he stood between them and the threat.
The demon child made a face and started to walk around him, completely disregarding the weapon trained on her, but Takeji shifted and stopped her once more. He heard the two behind him whispering as the spawn looked up at him once again, this time frowning at him with narrowed eyes. And was that a growl he heard? He snorted. Was she actually trying to appear threatening? Pathetic.
Scowling, Takeji lifted a foot, placed it on her stomach, and shoved. The demon gasped as she stumbled back and then landed on her behind with a small grunt. He heard a gasp from behind him, urgent whispering, and then hurried scrambling. A glance over his shoulder told him they'd finally gotten wise and ran away. He nodded. Good. Now he could deal with this vermin without innocent eyes to bear witness.
But as he stared down at the pathetic sight before him, Takeji wondered maybe if such measures would even be necessary. The beast was still lying where she had fallen and was staring up at him with wide eyes brimming with…wait. What? Were those tears? Oh, you have got to be joking.
Rolling his eyes, the diplomat scoffed at the pathetic play for mercy and careless waved his dagger at her. The child actually flinched and followed the blade with her gaze, wariness clear in her eyes. Well. It appeared her self-preservation instincts have finally kicked in.
"Cease your theatrics," Takeji drawled, unimpressed. "They do not fool me. Now lucky for you, demon spawn, the pathetic sight you project has made me decide to spare your life. Your tainted blood is not worthy enough to soil my blade, so I will say this only one and you would do well to heed this warning, beast."
Hardening his stare and curling his lip into a sneer, Takeji spat, "Leave this place at once and do not return. There is no place for the likes of you, an abomination that preys on helpless children. Now get out of my sight, afore I kill you on principle. Your vile presence disgusts me."
The child grunted and Takeji watched, stone faced, as she got to her feet. Then to his surprise the little demon balled her hands into fists at her sides and glared at him, but the effect was ruined by the tears he could clearly see brimming her eyes. He cocked a brow, unmoved. She sniffled once, twice, and then to his utter surprise and bafflement, her face suddenly crumbled, her lower lip trembled, and she promptly burst into loud tears before spinning on her heel and running away.
"P-Papaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Takeji frowned. Papa? Were the brat's kin nearby, then? Body tense and weapon raised, he waited, prepared to either fight or flee - because he wasn't a fool and knew when he was in over his head - but when no demons came bursting out of the tree line, Takeji slowly relaxed.
Bewildered and more than a little annoyed at the whole debacle - what a waste of time! - the diplomat scoffed in derision as he turned to watch the little demon brat scurry away. And then right at that exact moment, a figure donned in red dropped to the ground seemingly out of nowhere and Takeji felt a wave of relief sweep through him. Finally! This had to be his demon quarry.
Nodding, Takeji stepped forward and opened his mouth to call out a greeting—
And then froze in his tracks as the greeting abruptly died on his tongue. Because the little demon girl, the one he'd just pointed his weapon at and shoved to the ground, ran straight to the figure robed in red and Takeji could do naught but watch with a growing sense of horrified dread as the older demon knelt down to take the child into his arms.
All color promptly drained from his face and Takeji suddenly felt sick to his stomach. He glanced behind the pair and he was somehow not at all surprised to find the twin girls from earlier glaring at them and holding onto the skirts of their mother with a monk garbed in violet robes beside her. They too were staring at him in a not so friendly manner, but upon returning his gaze to the two demons, Takeji numbly thought that if looks could kill, he would surely be dead by now.
Because the demon robed in red - which was now unmistakably the child's father and none other than Inuyasha, the demon he'd come here for - was glaring absolute murder at him and it was obvious that he was. Not. Pleased.
Takeji swallowed and unconsciously backed up a step. With one small hand fisting her father's robes, the child had the other pointing an accusatory finger at him as she no doubt recited to him their earlier…ah, exchange. Inuyasha said nothing in response, but he didn't need to. The deep, nearly subsonic growl that erupted from his mouth, complete with fully bared fangs in a truly fearsome snarl, told him very clearly of his thoughts on his daughter's mistreatment by him.
Which, if Takeji had to guess, were not very Takeji-friendly. At all.
Somehow managing to fight against the urge to flee, Takeji swallowed hard as Inuyasha pushed to his feet and stalked toward him with that same murderous look on his face. Something told him, perhaps some deeply rooted self-preservation instinct, that if he even tried to run right then, it would not end well for him. So he remained where he was and tried valiantly to control the trembling in his body as he slowly, very slowly, tucked his dagger back from whence it came.
Inuyasha stopped in front of him and Takeji cleared his throat before attempting a placating smile, but it looked more like a grimace than anything. "Ah…I assume you are…In—"
One second Takeji was staring into the scowling features of one pissed off dog demon. The next there was a bright flash of light and then he was staring at the business end of a very large and very sharp sword. With the tip just a hair's breadth away from his nose, Takeji gasped sharply and stumbled back a step out of instinct.
Sweet merciful heavens! How—?
"Usually I'd ask who the fuck you are," the demon growled, his eyes twin slits of baleful gold. "But honestly, I can't really bring myself to care enough to know the name of the asshole who threatened my daughter when she was doing nothing but playing with her friends."
Takeji blanched for the second time and he could actually feel himself breaking out in a cold sweat. He fucked up. Oh dear god he'd fucked up so bad—
"There's—there's been a misunderstanding," Takeji tried in a voice higher than usual, raising his hands up in what he hoped was a placating gesture as he eyed the very sharp point of that blade. "I—I admit I've made a grave mistake—"
"Shut the fuck up and tell me why I shouldn't gut you where you stand," Inuyasha hissed, lips feeling back off his fangs in another fierce snarl. With his ears pinned back and those golden eyes glaring absolute death at him, the demon made quite the menacing picture. Takeji had the brief, if a bit ludicrous thought, that perhaps the demon Naraku perished from the sheer animosity that was coming off of the silver-haired demon in waves.
Swallowing once, twice, Takeji realized that he only had his quick wit to get him out of his certain predicament. So bracing himself, he opened his mouth—
"He's from the continent, Inuyasha. You can't hurt him."
Startled hazel eyes swung toward the source of the voice but amber eyes stayed locked on their target, the only acknowledgment of the voice a flick of an ear.
The owner of the voice the human diplomat could only presume was the child's mother, as the child in question was standing behind her legs and was actually smirking at him. He frowned.
"You're from Shenshi," the woman remarked and Takeji swung his gaze back to her. "Right?"
Though her expression wasn't openly friendly, it wasn't exactly unfriendly either, however the human diplomat still felt he needed to tread carefully. Because while her face didn't betray anything, her stare was hard and her mouth had tightened into a thin, flat line. She had one hand on her daughter's head while the other clutched a longbow, and belatedly he realized she had a quiver of arrows slung across her back. He barely held in a flinch as he realized this was one of the demon's companions that had assisted in slaying Naraku, possibly the young woman in which Inuyasha held a more meaningful relationship.
A much more meaningful relationship, if the child currently glaring daggers at him was anything to go by since she was more or less living proof of it.
Wonderful. So he'd gone and threatened the only child of two of the most powerful beings in Japan. Clearly he'd stepped over the wrong grave and pissed somebody off.
Clearing his throat and aiming a strained smile toward the woman who was still awaiting his reply, Takeji nodded once. "Ah, y-yes, my lady. I'm—"
"The diplomat Ambassador Sharaku sent to convince Inuyasha to join his ranks so he'd have the support and protection of 'The Great Slayer of Naraku.'" The woman raised a delicate brow at him. "How am I doing so far?"
Takeji had the good grace to look a mite sheepish. "Ah…well—"
"You can't kill him, Inuyasha," she repeated and Takeji thought she sounded disappointed. "If he goes missing, the ambassador will send his troops to find out what happened or if he returns injured, it could be taken as an insult and you can imagine what would happen after that. You would risk mine or Moroha's life like that, and you know it."
Inuyasha growled but said nothing to refute her words, so Takeji assumed he agreed.
"He threatened her, Kagome," the demon spat, inching the blade closer to his throat and Takeji flinched. "Called her a fucking animal, shoved her down, and waved a goddamn dagger in her face! You can't honestly expect me to let that—"
"Papa," the child - Moroha - suddenly said, successfully stalling her father's angry tirade. A quick glance revealed the girl, still sticking close to her mother, was staring at the older demon with big brown eyes, bright with the threat of tears as she worried her bottom lip. And evidently the sight was enough to calm the raging storm of Inuyasha's fury because he grimaced, released a low growl, and then Takeji watched in stunned amazement as the massive sword suddenly transformed into a rusty katana before it was sheathed at his hip.
With a weapon no longer at his throat, Takeji could breathe a little easier and he released a breath he hadn't even been aware he'd been holding. But then he sucked it right back in when Inuyasha suddenly stepped in close and got in his face, a low, threatening growl leaking past rightly clenched teeth bared in another snarl. Golden eyes bore into his own, filled with a lethal warning that had the human male's back straightening and his blood to run cold in his veins.
"You listen carefully, asshole," Inuyasha hissed, glaring so heatedly it was a wonder Takeji didn't burst into flame. "Don't you dare think that my wife's words have any sort of sway over my decision to spare your pathetic life. I'm not scared of your weakling ambassador and I sure as hell ain't scared of his little human army. No, the only reason that I let you live is because I don't want my daughter, the one you foolishly threatened when she had done nothing wrong, to see me sully my hands with your disgusting blood when I reduce you to nothing more than a bloody smear on the ground."
Takeji paled and swallowed thickly. That particular image was…not pleasant.
Inuyasha watched the color drain from his face. Satisfied, he sneered before saying in a growl filled with sinister promise, "Now get the fuck outta my village and if you ever touch my daughter again, I'll gut you so fast you won't even have time to fucking scream."
Then with that, Inuyasha leveled him with one last dark scowl before spinning on his heel and stalking away, a clear dismissal. Neither mother nor daughter even spared the frozen human male a glance as Inuyasha paused to pick his daughter up into his arms before striding away, his wife close to one side and his friends on the other.
From over his shoulder, Takeji could only watch in a mixture of shock and befuddlement as the little demon girl named Moroha smirked and then stuck her tongue out at him, safe and sound in her father's arms.
Left standing in a state of numb bewilderment, Takeji blinked, looked down at himself, and had the passing thought that it was a very good thing he'd decided to wear brown trousers that day.

Frights, Camera, Action! – Hauntlywood Clawdia Wolf Diary
August 25th
Today I was walking through the streets of Londoom I just wanted to howl and do a little dance because I’m so excited to be here. I didn’t, of course, do the dancing part, since I’m the one with the “clumsy gene” in our family and I didn’t want to fall through an open monster hole cover. It has never bothered me that I’m not as athletic as the rest of the pack, because I think it was pretty apparent even when I was a cub that I was better at writing stories about my brothers’ and sisters’ athletic exploits than participating in them. It’s not that I didn’t try, but my mind and body may have been in concert but they were not playing the same tune. I remember the last organized soccer game I played: the coach put me in the goal partly because I was tall for my age and partly because he thought that perhaps the prospect of a ball being rocketed toward me might keep my attention. It worked for a bit, until the ball stayed at the other end of the pitch for a while, and a butterfly landed on the net. All of a sudden I became a ferocious were-spider who decided to give the butterfly a reprieve. So I climbed up in the net to shoo it away when I heard my dad yell, “Clawdia, turn around!” A ghoul was on a breakaway, and the only thing between her and me was open pitch and the ball. I tried to turn, and my spikes caught in the net, so I just closed my eyes and leaped toward the front of the goal. Somehow the ball ended up in my claws, and I kept the ghoul from scoring. It was my one and only athletic achievement, so I retired with my legacy in check and got a good story out of it, which, I’m sure, will end up in one of my screamplays some day.
September 8th
I was sitting in the lecture hall today not really paying attention like I should have been, partly because I was working on a not-for-that-class writing assignment and partly, okay, mostly, because symbolism in ghost-modern, neo-realist goblin cinema is only slightly less painful than rolling in flea-infested wolf’s bane. Honestly, I have no idea what a goblin miner wearing a red hat and pushing an empty ore cart says about the state of modern goblin-kobold relations. I’m sure it is profound and important, but well... it doesn’t matter. What did matter, howere, was that the professor asked a question that he wanted all of us to answer, and I didn’t hear the question. I could have asked him to repeat the question, of course, but then I would have had to acknowledge that I had not been paying attention, and since this particular professor hates that, I knew I was going to have to wing it on the answer. Which made me nervous, which made me look for something to chew on, which meant I wasn’t listening to the other answers, which meant I didn’t have a clue when he got to me. So when he said, “Ms. Wolf?” I said I didn’t think I could add anything to the discussion that had not been more profoundly stated in the answers my classmates had already given. This caused the rest of the class to burst out laughing, to which the professor said, “While I appreciate your humility, your answer leaves us no closer to knowing how many siblings you have.” I was mortalfied, but even more so when he said, “Please do try and pay better attention going forward.” Unlive and learn, Clawdia, unlive and learn.
September 15th
I’ve been using my iCoffin tablet to do some of my writing lately, and I really like it. I mean, I like the tablet. It’s great for doing video chats, and there are some really cool Londoom based apps that have helped me find my way around the city better. As for the writing part, I still prefer my chewed pen and leghoul pad. It may be old-fashioned, but there’s something about a blank sheet of paper that’s less intimidating than a blank scream with a blinking cursor.
October 1st
The only thing that’s coming down faster than the temperature in Londoom right now is the rain. I’m not sure what the real temp is, but you know it’s cold when a werewolf has to put on her fuzzy wool socks... brrr... fortunately, dad did a good job preparing me for this climate by never allowing to turn the thermostat up past the “I can see my breath” mark during the winter. We would say, “Dad, the house is freezing!” to which he would always reply, “You can either have heat or you can eat.” Followed quickly by, “We’re werewolves, for ghoul’s sake, put on a sweater if you’re cold.” Then we’d all look at mom, who would just shrug her soldiers. It was one of the only things she couldn’t change his mind about. So we’d all just sit snuggled together on the couch watching bad TV, complaining about Howleen’s sharp, unclipped paw nails and making promises about what we’d do when we all moved out and got our own places. I distinctly remember saying that I would turn up the heat so high that it would make Gloom Beach seem like a Yeti cave. So the first time it got cold here, I did just that, and it was every bit as amazing as I imagined it would be, until I got my first heating bill. Let’s just say that grocery shopping for the next few weeks gave me a completely different perspective on dad’s old saying. I’m pretty confident that saltines and marmite will never darken the shelves of my cupboard again after having that formerly tasty combination as my only breakfast and lunch option for a fortnight. I’m really missing being able to snuggle up on the couch with my pack of siblings, and I wouldn’t even complain about Howleen’s uncut paw nails... well, maybe not a lot.
October 6th
I had a great video chat with the fam tonight, and they could not stop talking about Draculaura being chosen as queen of the vampires. They were in complete shock, and I have to admit it was quite a surprise to me as well. The vampires haven’t had a queen since the last chosen one, a young vampire ghoul named Elissabat, disappeared some 400 years ago. What is really curious about this, as if Draculaura being chosen as the new queen right out of the boo wasn’t curious enough, is that Clawdeen told me Draculaura’s choice was confirmed by the Vampire’s Heart. I have actually been doing quite a bit of research on the heart, which is really just a massive jewel with magical properties, for a screamplay I wanted to write about the mystery of the missing queen. There are many scholars that believe the jewel disappeared at the same time the ghoul who would be queen did; so either the scholars are incorrect, or there is more here than meets the eye. I didn’t want to be the one to rain on the funeral though, until I had a little more proof, especially with Clawdeen being so excited about attending the coronation. I did notice that Clawd wasn’t in the room with everyone else, and I’m wondering how he is dealing with this news.
October 7th
Clawdeen has sent me at least 30 texts and emails since last night detailing the fashions she’s thinking about taking to the coronation. I can see her now running around the room with absolutely every piece of clothing she owns spread out so she can mix and match fashions. She’s probably also been through Draculaura’s closet several times as well. I love her so much and I wish I could be there to make her laugh when she starts getting too serious. She’s so beautiful, though, that whatever she chooses will probably steal the show. I finally got an IM from Clawd asking if we could talk. This wasn’t unusual, since Clawd prefers one-on-one conversation to fighting for face time in a group. When he popped up on the screen he looked terrible, almost like he’d been crying, although it might have just been bad lighting. As usual, Clawd didn’t want to talk about himself and instead wanted to know every little thing I was doing. I finally had to say, “Stop howling around the moon and talk to me, little brother.” So he did. He told me that he didn’t trust the Lord Stoker character that showed up with the Vampire’s Heart claiming it led him to Draculaura. What’s more, neither did Draculaura. They both thought Draculaura would be miserable being queen, but that she would feel honor and duty bound to take the throne. Even so he was trying to be as supportive as possible and went on for a few more minutes about things that were worrying him. When he stopped I said, “You really love her, don’t you?” He looked down for a moment and swallowed hard, “She’s my best friend, sis, and I’m about to lose her forever.” Now it was my turn to swallow hard, and then he made an excuse about having to leave for practice and said a hasty goodbye. I’m going to do some more digging into this, because something doesn’t pass the smell test here, and a Wolf’s nose is always right.

Got any hcs for white? Her starter, her journey, etc? And like. Fws hcs?? 👀👀👀
K HERE WE GO MY SECOND FAVORITE GIRL EVER(this is gonna be long bc. i like them too)
white chose tepig as her starter. this is actually a GREAT match because Gus is really rash and hasty and stubborn fist fighter just like her
white has never lost a battle. that was her goal it was never really to become champion or anything (she didnt care for all the responsibility that came with it) her goal was to be undefeated. which did not bode well for cheren, who wanted to be champion, and lost every battle against her
“well this is discouraging”
she really loves bianca!!! and cheren!!!!! she has the least patience and sense out of the three. cheren has to keep her grounded so she doesnt do weird shit
white is physically the strongest out of the protags. its mysterious. she als o has the best hair
when she first meets N he is. a creep. im sorry. even i see it like that when you first meet him hes weird. when she first hears the team plasma speech in the first town, shes like boiling already. why would anyone listen to the knights of the round table?! this is weird. she kicks N’s ass first battle.
her problem from here on out and throughout the journey is that. she was the opposite of N. she thought that everyone treated their pokemon nicely and no one could ever hurt a pokemon. she learned she was wrong fairly quickly, and tried to fix and embrace reality instead of N, who tried to change the world all at once.
this is why shes the hero of truth and hes the hero of ideals.
i dont have a lot of solid hc interactions between them (mostly bc i havent played in a while jfklas i abandoned my boy) but throughout their journey they. actually talk. and argue. and they both equally learn things from each other. and despite him being kinda weird (she thinks) shes actually kinda concerned for him
he makes her think about things she wouldnt otherwise. not just the fate of pokemon but about the future and the whole world. because of him she actually has this moment, where she has all of her current team out. and she realises that she is, like what he says and just makes her pokemon fight. of course and loves and cares for them, and she just. asks them real solemly like. “Do you guys even want to fight? Like do you even like being here?”
and she already decided that if any of them didn’t want to be there, she would let them go.
luckily, her whole team is full of pokemon just like her and they enjoy the fights, and the adventure, and spending time with her, and shes thrilled. after this she asks pokemon she catches that she wants to keep if they wanna stay with her
i love N a lot ok. whenever N talks to white she always says something that surprises him and makes him look at the world differently. eventually he finds himself actually seeking her out and deliberatly looking for chances to run into her. he gains a lot of respect for her. whenever he talks to her he takes his hat off and nervoulsy kinda. holds it in his hands and shes kinda “?”
when she first finds out hes king. of team plasma. shes pissed. shes ready to TIP TH DAMN CART THING IN THE FERRISHWEEL AND HAVE A FIGHT RIGHT THERE. HES TELLING HER TO CALM DOWN AND SHES LIKE HOW DID YOU EXPECT ME TO REACT??????????????
shes angry bc hes the king of this. horrible orginization. and as far as shes seen all they do is steal and abuse pokemon. the next few times she talks to him he tells her that theyre nothing like that, and that they only look after pokemon
this is actually true. some of the grunts fully believe in the true cause. but most of them follow ghetsis. and N has no idea that his grunts are actually abusing and stealing (i keep thinking about the dreamyard because that scene was what the fuck????a re you doing????)
she begins to realize this. that he has no idea. and that he actually believes in this cause. and as she gets to know him she realises he is. the purest person. and he has no idea. and she feels kinda bad bc she was kinda mean to him before, but hes still plasma so shes confused about how she should treat him because he always treats her and her pokemon pretty nicely.
N is actually a very nice and gentle soul. he’ll put up a fight for sure, but especially towards white hes the sgtwytwytws weetest thing im sorry i have a soft spot for him. lowkey he wants her approval.
if youve ever seen miraculous ladybug, i imagine N to be kind of like adrien(without the chat side to him) like hes just. nice. and gentle and. cute.
i hc that they have way more interactions than the game gives you
the best thing theyve ever had together was this celebration in Iccirus city (similar to like…the 4th of july kinda thing..) and whites pretty alone. cherena and bianca are off doing Arceus knows what and shes like. alone. and she finds N outside the city with some pokemon.
so she goes and talks to him. questions why hes out here all alone in like, the cold. shouldnt you be with your family or something? its a holiday. and she caught him off gaurd and he immedatly like stands up and hes kinda happy to see her. he doesnt question why but hes. happy. when shes around.
he tells her his father never really cared for these kinds of celebrations anyway, and that he usually spends these kinds of days alone. he doesnt think this is a big deal but whites kinda,.. lonely too. so she proposes “Listen, no one should be alone today. And I don’t really have anyone to hang out with either, so what do you say we just, forget about the sworn enemies thing for the night and go have some fun or something”
and hes. surprised. here she goes again. always saying something new and pleasent and hes. like beaming hes so cutnhejfje so he agrees.
and this turns into. a pretty great night for them both actually. like they actually get along great when theyre not arguing about the future of unova. they play a lot of booth games and.
hdj white loses at one of those ball tossing games(she usually loses and then harasses the booth guy with “Booo its rigged” but she just likes to have fun) and N. is determined. he fuckin. calculates wind direction and all this weird shit and gets. a record high score and shes like how the fuck did you do that. he smiles and answers its all in the wrist.
he gets her some stuffed animal thing. shes like this is the best day ever shes thrilled. they go and get food and like by the end of the night theyre actually. like friends. and she didnt think this would happen but she actually likes hanging out with him. at some point she wins a seashell necklace that she wears for the timeskip outfit
so theyre sitting there at the edge of the festival whatever eating caramel popcorn and ice cream and hot dogs laughing and telling stories about weird people theyve met and crazy things theyve done.
and they talk about his family. and why hes with plasma in the first place. and where her parents are. and why they believe in the things that they say and do. it turns out theyre both orphans. the only difference between them is that hes alone
at some point (i forget how this comes up) he asks white if theyre friends. she pauses for a while because she doesnt know how to answer it. yes, she thinks, when she’s with him like this. when she forgets that hes leading a region-wide organization aiming to seperate people and pokemon. but she settles with a yes, and jokingly adds that if they were destined to be mortal enemies they could hang out more, and he smiles
she spots a pair of plasma grunts, looks like theyre doing some shady things, but her head flashes back to the conversations shes had with N. he doesnt know what his grunts do. so she tells him to stay there and she’ll be back. hes kind of confused and worried, so he follows her from a distance.
she follows the grunts into a cave/grotto/area. yep, here they are abusing some poor purrloins or something, trying to get something that ghetsis claims he needs. she has her stountland right beside her and angrily questions what they think theyre doing.
when they snarkily and confidently answer that they do whatever they want, she asks why theyre even a part of team plasma at all if theyre gonna treat pokemon like this. she tells them to go join team rocket if theyre looking for business like that. N is outside listening to all of this
they say something like “You think this about money?” and she asks what else and they answer “This is about power. We don’t give a damn about freeing pokemon for justice! When all the pokemon are gone plasma will reign supreme!!”
she clutches her pokeball. shes pissed. not just because, these fuckers got issues, but because they are deliberatly. disobeying N, and everything he stands for. so she tells them to get out of there before they end up regretting it. they laugh and tell her they dont even listen to their own King, why would they listen to her.
(white is a huge badass by the way. shes the more hardcore and probably coolest protag)
then N steps in and they. fall silent. and they are terrified. the stutter and stammer about how it was all a misunderstanding, and it wasnt their fault, and they didnt mean it, and every excuse they could come up with but N. is kind of like leaf in this sense because he is. angry. but his anger comes off cold and heartless and man he is cool.
so they, because they know theyre screwed already, decide that they wont take this shit anymore and challenge them to a fight. figure if they manage to beat N, maybe they could rule plasma instead. (this is my excuse to get N and White to double battle) and they rock. theyre the perfect tag team. truely the two sides of the same coin
when theyre defeated. N forces them to release their pokemon and they run away, never to show their faces to plasma again. They stand there in silence for a while, and N asks “Why did you tell me not to stay there?”
shes quiet for a while before answering “Because…you believe in what you do” and “I didn’t want you to see the worst of what was going on.”
he thanks her for her concern, and tells her not to think like that, because now he finally sees what shes been trying to tell him about plasma, and maybe he can do something about it now that he knows. ignorance is never bliss, he adds, and she knows hes right. she just didnt want him to be hurt, she thinks
she asks what hes going to do, and he answers he’d try to weed out whatever corruption was in plasma. he hopes what the grunts say wasnt true, and that this was just a small mutiny, not rooting from the very top.
FYI SHES NOT SUPPORTING PLASMA at this point she still hates plasmas ass for doing what they do, but shes seen now the way some trainers treat their pokemon (in and out of plasma) and she thinks that if this cause was done right, it would help the world a lot
unfortunaly N is a fool lol and wants to liberate ALLLL THE DAMN POKEMON.
ofc after this. ghetsis goes and. poisons his mind again with how shes a fool and shes trying to manipulate you and why would you doubt your own father. and right after this N. becomes the hero of ideals and they become worse enemies than theyve ever been. she becomes the hero of truth and he smiles because suddenly. everything makes sense. why hes always so happy to be around her. why it feels like she completes him despite all their differences and he. loves her he just doesnt know it
and she knows for a fact that ghetsis is behind all of this but because N is the king, she has to go through him first.
and she really cares for N. she actually ends up realising after he leaves that yeah, she pretty much loved him. and she hates his ass for leaving. so she goes to chase him down because cheesy as it is, these two are literally soulmates. they both acknowledge that meeting and growing with the other has made them better and stronger people and white refuses to let that go.
(i love their story and dynamic)
i dont have a set reuniting scene for them yet, the only one i have is.,.,. a part of that other story im lowkey working on..,.,. but she slaps him thats for sure LOL. hes like a puppy hes so happy to see her again hes like “White!!” and shes. PISSED. she has tears in her eyes and CATCH THESE HANDS. leaf and green are probably there and theyre like WHOA WHAT
green actually relates to white bc of this bc yeah, i waited for like 3 years for the love of my life too

AD v. Hanna
Throughout all the seasons it is plain to see that hanna has got it the worst out of all the liars. It honestly seems like A or A.D. has had a serious vendetta against her so i’ve been looking back at old episodes and clues and have been trying to piece together what Hanna could have done to make AD hate her so much.
A part of me has always felt like the girls have been way more involved in ‘That Night’ than they think. I mean even Ali told Hanna in a dream that we later find out was real “The four of you combined know more about that night than you know. Im surprised Spencer hasn’t figured it out.”
Well here’s my theory, in addition to the girls being involved in that night I also think Hanna might’ve played the biggest role without realizing it.
In S1 Wilden suspected Hanna of mudering Ali the most. He says she did it out of jealousy. Thats why hanna turned into the new ‘IT’ girl after she was gone. Maybe wilden was onto something.. or knew more than he was letting out.
I think it could be a possibility that Hanna murdered the girl in the grave because she mistook her for alison and was letting out all her built up rage from the constant bullying ali did to her. B/c lets be real I know ali was mean to everyone but out of all the 4 liars she was especially mean to hanna, she constantly bullied her for her weight and made her feel like shit. W/ the other girls she kind of just held their secrets over their heads to get her way.
Okay so the first thing I want to note is from the pilot and S4 finale A is for Answers, during the scene of ‘that night’ All the girls are drinking and in addition Ali slipped some pills in their drinks. When you mix doctor prescribed pills w/ alcohol almost 100% of the time you blackout and dont remember shit you do.
In the S4 finale flashback the writers made and effort to show that when Ali went back to the barn after she talked to byron that all the girls were asleep and emily and hanna were on the couch laying under a blanket (the first pic) but in the pilot when aria wakes up the girls not only is their no blanket on the girls but its also nowhere to be found in the scene. Now either this is just a prop error and another plot hole (b/c the couches are also different) or marlene did this for a reason.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think it’s possible after Ali leaves the barn and A/Charles/WHOEVER hits her over the head the girls wake up b/c of Ms. D screams and go to investigate all out of it.
We know in S3 Emily starts having flashbacks of what she thinks is that night and she has a shovel and alison turns around falls to the ground. Later we find out that the screaming em heard coming out of ali was her own screams & the shovel she was holding was actually from when jenna & crew took her to dig up ali’s grave. But that doesn’t mean the vision of ali falling and her standing above her is wrong.
Bethany (who they thought was ali) turns around and comes face to face w/ all four liars (or maybe not all of them who really knows) approaching her angry, she backs up, trips and falls and HANNA w/ the murder weapon & the most anger hits bethany knocking her out (we’ve seen how hanna is when she’s angry....)
Tumblr media
then they all realize what just happened and run back to the barn to plot their story while melissa & possibly Ian walk up after searching everywhere for Ali or the NAT vids to bethanys unconscious body & they bury her alive.
we know ian knew about melissas secret b/c he wanted to get rid of spencer (presumiable to free melissa from her lies to protect spencer) in the bell tower so he could’ve just helped melissa that night too.
Now I know Mona already confessed to this but what if she was going to kill ali too as she was her A but then see’s the girls already there so she hides in the bushes & witnesses hanna do the dirty work. At first she was probably happy & was gonna use this against them but later her and hanna become super close so instead she takes the fall for her.
We’ve seen her do this before when hanna was gonna take the fall for wilden so she confessed instead so her & her mom wouldn’t go to jail, it wouldn’t be too farfetched if she did it again. Idk her reveal seemed so hasty and rushed when she told the girls almost as if she wanted to end give them an answer before they starting looking in other places.
A has done so many things to hanna from hitting her with a car, leaving her to burn in the lodge, going after her mom and putting her in jail and hanna herself getting put in jail, torturing her, & even in the upcoming episode the synopsis said hanna’s task from the game is alot more serious than the other ones. It really seems like A wants to see hanna suffer the most... & this very much would be a good reason why....
(Now theres probably alot more clues or maybe even plot holes in my theory but bare with me its 2:30am and im running on E. lol if I missed anything please let me know! Also might do a pt 2 later on to discuss the other girls parts)

“Kill Me”// im sorry
Even More Drabbles - Accepting @fawking-izaya Leave a “Kill Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character killing yours.
(🐈)         Iza was by no means a holy person or saint. He always had severalreasons to kill; although, in the end, none of his reasons ever did matter. Hewould claim it’s for the greater good and justice and that he as doing theright thing in ridding the world of corrupt people. In retrospect, that neverwas the reason; rather, it was a cover up for the real reason: self-fulfillment.
With anunyielding and undying hate towards people of any kind Iza had always questionedwhy people deserved the things they have. He had never felt much remorse forthe people he had purposely gotten killed, surely Iza would have gotten caughtby now, but that was not the case. Iza was smarter than he made himself out tobe. He wouldn’t stupidly get himself caught in such actions.
It wasuncleanly, and certainly not something he would want to dirty his paws with, let alone having the blood stain his hands. He was sure the taste of humanblood would be bitter and disgusting. A sophisticated feline such as himselfwould rather be in his luxurious bed napping the day away till dusk.
As of rightnow Iza was at his desk, a bored expression on his face. It was past dusk andwell into the night. The city lights were bright, and truthfully to Iza it wasa pretty sight, but it was soon ruined by the sights of people scrambling below.Iza moved his head to rest on the palm of his hand as he scrolled throughvarious sites and chats. There were several potential victims Iza could havepicked and done away with in the same night, but that was not his style. Hepreferred people who held a significance or power somewhere.
Many of themwould have been a walk in the park if Sinzuo was still around.
That crazedwolf would pounce and kill anything in his sight and to him it didn’t matterwho it was, but alas, he was nowhere to be found. For all Iza knew Sinzuo could have gotten caught or died somewhere. Truly, Sinzuo was love at first sight, perhapsbecause their morals were similar or for worse their sense of justice was thesame. In the end, Iza wouldn’t claim he had any association with Sinzuo andwhomever he would take down in front of him, but to Iza, Sinzuo was perhaps oneof his closest friends even if they are anything but friends.
In the end, their senses had always came down to the same basic component: Murder.
If Iza thought about it there were several people he couldpotentially get rid of, such as the people who confuse him for Izaya. He leanedback against his swivel chair and turned to one side with a hum. Iza wasn’tsure if he actually wanted to go out and do it himself.
Would it beeasier to get someone else to do it? Iza did have a record to keep of gettingrid of people indirectly; keeping a ‘out of sight out of mind’ approach.
Iza knewIzaya’s schedule well enough, but he was sure Izaya had about the same amountof information, maybe a little less considering Iza’s elusiveness, but eventhen Izaya himself was also quite elusive. Iza was sure Izaya would know thathe was most active at night, but that was more or less a given. Was it possible that Izaya knew of the feline’s harbored anger towards people? Perhaps, butperhaps not. It was not as if they were personal with each other and it waseasy to tell the mask each of them wore. If anything they were more likestrangers despite the clear similarities and strong etched differences betweenthem.
How Izayacould love people made Iza sick to his stomach; although, the irony is that Izaneeded people even if he would rather be apart from them. Without people he wassure he would have gone insane years ago, whether that was reverting back intohis cat-likeness or perhaps he would have been so far gone in his own madnessthat he would have ended up like Sinzuo: an anti-social being that would attackif provoked.
It would havebeen easy to claim that he too, loved people as much as Izaya and was thereason he chose to kill them but how insane must he be to think that? It wasalmost laughable. There was no simple answer for the reasons why Iza acts theway he does or has developed this mentality of him against the world.
Simply put: He was unstable. Iza always held a front to appear acertain way towards people depending on his needs and desires. It was clearlydebatable who was more dangerous, but Iza liked to think that he was better andfar more dangerous than someone like Izaya.
Who elsecould kill in cold blood and never think of it again? Hell, who could see it asa sport and a simple game? That’s all it was to Iza, just a simple game. Heknew Izaya liked games, but perhaps not as crucial or dangerous as Iza’s typesof games. It was debatable, but perhaps it wouldn’t be debatable for muchlonger.
Iza pushedhimself off his chair. If anyone should get rid of Izaya it should be him.Forget Shizuo, he would never have the nerve to finish the job, but he knew tonot be hasty. For all he knew Izaya could always be prepared foranything.
                                                             ⚔️⚔️
It had been several days ofassuring this would secure the kill.
Did Iza have a real reason tokill Izaya? No.                 Was he going to do itanyway? Yes.
Lurking around downtown, Izawaited patiently for his moment. One could say Iza was at his lowest point. Healready knew he could never be human and he figured he may as well never becomeone. Surely, it would be easy for Izaya to pick a fight with someone likeIza.
An ear turned, hearing light sounds of footsteps and cheerful humming. That had to be Izaya.Who else would sound as if he were cheerful about mayhem? Aside from Iza, ofcourse.
The only problem now wascatching Izaya. Iza knew Izaya to have a lot of agility, but even Iza himselfhad the reflexes of a cat and many capabilities Izaya didn’t have, such asbeing able to see in the dark much more clearly.
Iza thoughtabout his next move: Would Izaya be curious enough to check a sound from analleyway?
Easily, Iza knocked over a trashcan and hid himself from sight. He heard the footsteps come closer, sounding asif they were carrying his target to the area to check out what hadhappened.
Sure enough, there was Izayalooking over the area with curiosity. Instantly, Iza meowed in a pitch Izayawould recognize as a completely different cat.
He heard Izaya sigh, “Justa damn cat. I should have known.”
Iza peaked from his hiding spotin time to see Izaya turn around uninterested and Iza took this chance. Withlight footsteps he crept up behind the informant and pulled out his pocketknife. As he was about to make his mark at a vital, it was blocked. Iza was notsurprised, he expected this much of Izaya.
The adrenaline rush had startedto appear, heightening both Izaya’s and Iza’s senses.
“And just what are you doing?”
At Izaya’swords Iza couldn’t help his facade of false love, “Why, I’m simply showingmy love for you Izaya-san. So, why don’t you let me express it?”
Izaya jumped back, keeping hiscalm composure, he remembered a situation similar to this, having to do with ademon blade wielded by Anri Sonohara. He couldn’t help but wonder if the plagueof Saika children were returning. There was something off about the half-felinein front of him, appearing as if he was intending to commit to killinghim.
As an information broker, all Izaya hadto rely on was the information he gathered and his own wits. With keen eyes,Izaya simply observed, being wary of Iza.
Iza brought his hands together,as if he were about to pray, his right hand still holding the pocketknife, “How mean, Izaya-san has nothing to say about my love for him.” Izacontinued the facade, hoping to confuse Izaya. Easily, Iza twirled his knifebetween his fingers as if he had done the actions hundreds of thousands oftimes and walked towards him. There was a grin on Iza’s face as he approached, much like a cat that has caught a mouse.
“It doesn’t matter if you loveme Izaya-san. I already know you don’t care for me. Another love lost meansabsolutely nothing to me.”
Izaya backed up with each stepIza took. This was not the same as the fights he would have with Shizuo.Something about this was completely different, but at the same time he canunderstand just what it was. The glint in the feline’s eyes shone bright;although, it was not the same as the way Saika’s curse would make a victim’seyes shine. Feeling threatened, Izaya raised his knife, “What is it that youwant from me, Kitten?” Izaya asked, keeping his voice steady. He didn’t want toprovoke Iza any further.
Iza stopped walking and held hisknife in his hand. His ears leaned forward hearing Izaya call him ‘Kitten’. Thefeline was not insulted by this but, to think Izaya would call him Kitten hadthrown him off. Iza’s tail flicked to the side in annoyance along with an eartwitching, and instantly Izaya noticed this.
“How annoying.” As much as Izadid love to be called Kitten, it was reserved for people he could tolerate, gotalong with, or if they were a master of his. Hearing Izaya say it; it sounded wrong. As if it were implying thatIzaya was someone he could tolerate, when in reality it was hardly the truth. For worse, Iza felt as if Izaya had intentionally implied that he owned him.
Izaya wasn’t sure how to feeltowards Iza’s words and felt he had made a mistake. Most cats, or at least hiscats, liked to be call pet names. Looking at Iza again, he looked as if he hadgotten wounded with his ears flat and his tail swaying left to right and backagain. From what he knew of cat body language, that was not a good sign. Itmeant that he had just further angered a feline who was more than willing topounce for the kill.
Iza was furious and the knife inhis hand looked much more pleasant than it did earlier. The only thing that wasmissing from such a beautiful blade was of course, a dark color. It was almost convenientthat Izaya was there, even though Iza did plan for this. If the blade didn’twork Iza always did have other ways of completing the task, but he wasdetermined to get this done within the night.
“I’m not your kitten, don’t youdare say that to me.” Iza hissed the words, narrowed eyes looked at Izaya.
Izaya took that as a sign toturn and run, which he did. Iza didn’t say anything, instead he followed behindthe informant. Izaya was going to treat this as the same as he would run fromShizuo, except he was going to be dodging large objects like trash cans orvending machines. Instead, Izaya would have to dodge small needles, which was aharder task than dodge something large; given the fact Iza had excellent aim itwas difficult.
In a quick turn, Izaya tossed afew of his own knifes that he had.
Easily Iza deflected the knifes, and tossed a needle to a pressure point when Izaya had turned back around. Izamissed the pressure point in Izaya’s leg, but anything was better than nothitting at all. It would make it easier to catch Izaya if he was slowed down. Evenif Iza had punctured one of Izaya’s legs he kept throwing needles, anything toget Izaya to start bleeding. If there was blood in the air, the easier theinformant would be to find.
When he felt a prick on the backof his thigh, Izaya hissed. It didn’t feel like a knife, instead he figured itwas something small, but it hurt just as much as a knife would. He also felt aneedle scrap his cheek, where blood had started to seep down. There was nothingIzaya could do about that. Right now, he had to find a place hide, or at leastbuy himself time. Izaya make a sharp right turn down an alley way. He tried toscale up the wall, but just as he was about to jump he felt another pain in hisleft leg.
Iza had punctured a pressurepoint and down fell Izaya to the floor. It felt like he couldn’t move his legat all with two needles in his leg. It was ironic for Iza to be using needles regardless,he was deathly afraid of them, but Iza quickly found that he could hold andwield the needles just fine. If they were being used against him there was no wayhe could fight without anxiety taking over his senses.
As Izaya was, Iza felt he hadjust won this fight. Izaya was on the floor clutching his leg. Iza gave a coy smile,it didn’t fit the situation. It almost looked as if Iza was having fun withthis hunt. If Izaya knew any better, he had just played into Iza’s cat-likeinstincts to hunt and kill. As if to rub more salt into the wound, Iza threwhis knife into Izaya’s already punctured leg.
Izaya hissed at the knife beinglunged into his leg but he kept a cool exterior. “You wouldn’t just kill me,would you?” The informant inquired hoping to buy more time and hoped to change Iza’s mind. There was no way Iza could kill him. Right? He knew Iza to be quite docile.
Ears leaned forward hearing whatIzaya said and Iza couldn’t help but give a small laugh. Iza took another knifeout of his pocket and looked at it, as if it had the answer on it. “I have noreason to.” Iza said simply.
Izaya had felt a shimmer ofhope. He was certain Iza wouldn’t go through with it now, it’s when he noticedthe glint in Iza’s eyes and how his hand had tightened on the blade.
“But that wouldn’t stop me fromdoing it just for fun.”
The words sent a shiver downIzaya’s spine. He wasn’t ready to die. Not yet.
Izaya hadn’t thought he wouldfeel this feeling of intense fear and with no way of running away; what were thechances of his survival? He still had his knife, surely, he could fight Izaback, but the feline had an advantage.
The informant invaded death forso long, how could someone like Iza catch him so easily? Even Shizuo couldn’tcatch him besides destroying part of the city in order to accomplish such afeat. Izaya took the blade out of his leg, as much as it hurt he had to armhimself. It was almost strange how Iza was just watching almost waiting forIzaya to right back, but maybe that’s what Iza wanted.
Iza watched how Izaya pushedhimself up with the help of the alley way wall. He still wanted to play, if youcould call this playing. It would have been boring if Izaya had given up soeasily; although, this was a sign of uncertainty if a cat couldn’t finish offcaught prey. Iza figured Izaya wouldn’t know that. How often has his cats broughthim mice? Since when had Izaya ever had a mouse in his apartment? From whatIza remembered, Izaya’s apartment was very clean.
Seeing Izaya struggle to stay upon his leg, and hold out the knife as if to make distance between the two. Izasaw this as a means of defense. What else could Izaya do in this situation? Itwasn’t as if he had help or if he had foreseen this happening to him.
Iza took a step forward and whenhe did Izaya moved back. The feline frowned.
               How mean.
Izaya gritted his teeth as Izawalked towards him. He could try to run again or he could try to fight Iza withhis own throwing knifes but he was sure Iza would be expecting either answer to his unasked question.
What are you going to do now?
Izaya sighed. What can he do inthis situation? Who would help him of all people? Iza was closing in and histime was running short.
Maybe there are no other options…Ican’t get through to him, so what would stop him from killing me anyway? Izayathought bitterly, and with no other option left he dropped his arm that heldthe knife to his side and dropped the knifes to the concrete floor. The informant turned so his back was pressed against thewall instead of his side.
Iza saw this action as a meansof surrender. It was the right choice he felt. It would make it easier to getrid of the other quickly. The feline got in front of Izaya who looked as if hehad already accepted his fate and placed a hand on Izaya’s cheek, in a sweet gesture“Don’t worry Izaya-san, I’m sure someone will come after me just as I have cameafter you.”
Izaya didn’t know what Iza wastalking about. It wasn’t making sense, but it felt as if Iza was trying tosooth him that he death wouldn’t be in vain. It was almost sweet of Iza to talkthis way, but as sweet as it was there was bitterness not to long after.
Iza had no real sympathy forIzaya other than the fact he was about to die. The feline was not acold-hearted killer as he made himself out to be.
For a pretty last image, Izaclosed his eyes and pressed a kiss on Izaya’s lips; a kiss of death.
Izaya couldn’t help himself, itwas very symbolic, if not ironic. Then, a stab to his heart and suddenly, hewas heartbroken.
Iza pulled away from the kisswhen he had stabbed Izaya. He couldn’t help but lightly laugh seeing the lookon Izaya’s face. It was not exactly peaceful, nor was it hurt rather it seemedas if Izaya understood everything now.
It had been a few minutes and Izayawas long gone now. His blood was on Iza’s hands, but Iza felt it wasappropriate. The only question Iza had for himself was what he was going to donow. Guilt never did hurt him or else he wouldn’t have been able to get rid ofthe hundreds, if not thousands of people that came before Izaya.
Although, something about thisfelt off. No more competition.
               How boring.

Sealed With a Kiss (pt. 4) - A Dappling Story
THATS RIGHT, SWAK IS BACK
IM DETERMINED TO FINISH THIS!!!!!!!
POV is Darling Charming again!
Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3
Brief Summary: Darling and Apple have what could be considered their first date. Story is set a week after Dragon Games!
Word Count: 841
Fic requests are open!!
Did studying in the library count as a date? Darling wasn’t really sure what to call it. It wasn’t like Apple had said, “Hey, Darling, let’s go on a date to the library”. She’d asked Darling if she wanted to study Princessology with her. But she’d sent Darling that letter last night, saying that she was willing to try, and Darling didn’t know if that meant that they were dating or if Apple still wasn’t sure… everything was just so complicated and it was making Darling all flustered. She normally never got worked up like this, but she’d only been waiting in the library for ten minutes and she was already second guessing everything.
Maybe Apple wasn’t even going to show up. She’d said that she would be in the library at 3:00, and she hadn’t arrived yet. To be fair, Darling had gotten there a little early, but Apple was always early too. She never arrived on time, because being on time was being late, and it was 2:59 now.
And truthfully, maybe the whole thing was a terrible plan anyway. Darling was terrible at Princessology. She wouldn’t be able to help Apple even if the princess did show up.
While Darling was caught in indecision, a body gracefully slid into the chair across from her. “Darling!” a familiar voice chirped. “I’m glad you could make it.”
Darling startled and gazed up into Apple White’s soft, enchanting face. She regained some semblance of composure a moment later, remembering the necessity of saying something. “Oh yes, of course! I wouldn’t miss an opportunity to study. With you.”
“I brought a few books,” Apple said as she put some thick tomes down onto the table, “about horseback riding and proper dancing. I thought that we could look these over for the upcoming exams.”
“Sure,” Darling blurted, sounding way too over-hasty. She quickly toned it down. “That would be lovely. I do need to work on my sidesaddle.” She was quite certain that Apple had seen the way that she always slipped when trying to ride a horse like that. She was much better sitting astride the horse, but the White Queen had said that was very unladylike.
“Good. Then we’ll start with the riding book and go from there.” Apple pulled a golden book of at least 1000 pages towards herself, flipping it open to the middle section. “Would you like for me to read some of this aloud to you? It shouldn’t take too long. I’d give you your own copy, but I could only find the one book in the whole library.”
“That would be great. I’d lov-” Darling cut herself off. She didn’t know if Apple would be comfortable with her saying ‘love’ around her yet, even if it was in a casual context. “I’d… really appreciate that.”
Apple coughed slightly, then she started to read. She kept her face very close to the book, something that Darling picked up on but quickly forgot due to Apple’s fluid, soothing voice. “Chapter twenty-two: riding sidesaddle. Sidesaddle is a method of riding aside a horse and is used by ladies. In order to ride sidesaddle, a woman must have excellent balance and posture. Her hips and shoulders must be center on the horse, with her entire upper body facing forwards. Her feet, however…”
Darling listened as attentively as she possibly could as Apple read on… and on… and on. She had such a relaxing voice, and Darling couldn’t help it as she felt her eyes slowly begin to drop. She quickly forced herself back up each time she started to doze off, but the finer details of riding sidesaddle were completely lost on her.
“...And that’s the end of the chapter! What did you think?” A satisfied smile on her face, Apple flipped the book shut.
“It was… great! I learned a lot. Thank you, Apple, that will definitely help me on my test.”
“Good, I’m glad to hear it. Now, we could read something else, or…” Apple trailed off, looking behind Darling’s head at the giant clock that hung from the wall. She stood up with a jolt. “Goodness, would you look at the time? We’ve been here for over an hour! I’m so sorry, Darling, I would love to study more, but I have a student council meeting starting in five minutes!”
Sure enough, it was 4:10. Darling didn’t know where the time had gone. “Of course. Duty calls.”
Apple grabbed her books off the table and dashed off, giving Darling a little wave and smile before she left. Darling sank down in her chair.
She still didn’t know quite what that had been. The whole experience had seemed rather like a whirlwind. But maybe it was time for her to take some charge over the situation. After all, if she wanted some clarity, she could always plan something herself.
That night, Darling slipped a letter under Apple’s door.
Dear Apple,
Will you meet me in the dance studio tomorrow at 12:00?
Sincerely,
Darling Charming

Episode #2- “My dumb ass tribe apparently doesn’t know how to play chess”- Tawni
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
I want to go and do some chatting today if I can, get people feel more comfy. I have to be consistent because when you're consistent peoppe are going to want to have you around longer. So I am gonna work on the whole tribe if I can!!
Tumblr media
I am so conflicted right now. Rizo has potential to be one of my closest allies and that makes me kind of concerned for this. The twist has me needing him gone to get the idol and Im not concerned with it, but like realistically I feel like I have one of the easier lists...I cant decide if I should trll him to assure I never want the idol or keep it a secret. I could claim Ill never target him but really it would make me paranoid that my ally has me as an option on the table. Gosh Im in a pickle
Tumblr media
I think an alliance may be brewing! I was approached by Chris and Gwen talking about a group of five of us, but nothing is concrete yet. I hope it's true though, the five consists of myself, Gwen, Chris, Sara and AnnMarie, which are the people I personally find the most interesting so they're definitely the people I wanna see stick around. Kyle's fun too, but we've only spoken a couple times and as soon as I thought our conversation was going somewhere he left me on read, so... ya..
Tumblr media
so, i'm a mess and forgot to do this for round one,, sorry!! but, it was actually kind of an interesting round. upon meeting my tribe, i was mainly just trying to get to know everyone and at least introduce myself, which was honestly kind of overwhelming especially never having met these people LOL. but all in all, i think it went well. i at least made a bit of conversation with everyone on my tribe which was super good i think. i think the first talk of strategy came from zach, who wanted to make an alliance with like everyone but cheatham, dylan, and will which was kind of messy. i made the mistake of mentioning cheatham's name as the vote in that chat before i realized that no one else in there was loyal to that alliance LOL and actually wanted to vote zach out for being messy. as far as i know, cheatham doesn't know that i said that so hopefully he never gets around to hearing it??? but anyways, after that mess, i was added to another alliance called the sane ones, with noah, tawni, cheatham, and dylan. i actually really love this alliance and im super thankful to be a part of it. we all discussed voting zach and sure enough that's what happened. so last round was pretty straightforward with a unanimous vote against zach. however, in my new alliance, i have been informed of austin making an alliance with the same people in my alliance minus me LOL. so now i have to watch out for austin who is probably coming after me since he isn't including me in my alliance. but i feel pretty decent right now, i really do feel like that alliance has my back and im working on building individual relationships as well. i feel closest with tawni i think since we are currently bonding over our distrust of noah since he's kind of fawning over the fact that we are women?? like what?? LOOL please i don't want to deal with straight men this game honestly. but anyways yeah i'm kind of hoping we don't have to do tribal again so soon because it was pretty stressful, especially now that i know some people aren't including me in things.
Tumblr media
Going into the first immunity challenge, I was confident that my tribe could pull thru because for the most part we were all very active. In the time of the challenge I have made great connections with everyone in the tribe and I feel like I have info coming from everyone. I was able to make Gwen Sara Chris Kyle and Annmarie all feel like I was there number 1 and truly idk who is my number 1. I do enjoy Gwen Chris and Sara. As of now they are my final 4 and we have our alliance the Corgis. I am ready to lose and go to tribal and see if these guys are loyal. In terms of target I don’t really have anyone because everyone seems great. Steven has been the least active so as of now I would say him. But the twist is interesting because I want the idol but I do not want to target any of the people on my list so I will play it by ear. But expect some fun and aggressive gameplay.
Tumblr media
A lot, I'll make another one later but it's always good to form an alliance you know.
Tumblr media
I need to stop showing more of my personality to these people because if I show my self fully it’ll give people a sense of what I am like so for now on I will tone down how I talk to people. Also if we lose I’ll make sure Vincent will be going home.
Tumblr media
Austin told me there are 2 trios, and I'm not in either of them :(. Apparently Noah, Will, and Cheatham have a sort of pregame, and then Amy, Dylan, and Tawni have all aligned as well. If I'm going to be honest, I may have made a bit of a hasty decision when I said I wanted to side with ADT over NWC. I wanted to vote Will out for a while, and hopefully I'll get my chance to soon. But winning the challenge would also be a favourable outcome!
Tumblr media
Ok so chess. That entire situation was stupid. First off. My dumb ass tribe apparently doesn’t know how to play chess. So the resident stoner had to volunteer aka ME! So at the challenge we, Tim and I, get propositioned with potentially getting an individual advantage by forfeiting while in the lead. Well not even caring about an advantage going into the challenge to begin with I was fine with losing. I would have been fine waking out completely empty handed. But tim being the angel, hoping he doesn’t make me regret calling him that, he is let me at least get the individual reward. But I’m not sure how knowing will has me on his list will help me. Considering he is on mine as well he was already a target for me. It kinda helps knowing I dont have to go after someone who isn’t on my list but I’m not sure how I can actually use this advantage ATM
Tumblr media
Noah is still on my side apparently because he leaked Will's plan to vote me. Of course, a part of me is still worried that this is a 4D Chess play which still ends with me dying, but until that my vote will be for Will (most likely).
Tumblr media
I HATE LOSING! we need a win but....im doing loyalties for this vote so i can build trust and have numbers on my side
Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
Before the challenge my mind was set on Vincent going home and now it is Amy. So I was able to tell Vincent and Austin to vote her ass out and I told Noah to ask Dylan to vote her out as well and to also I got Noah to tell Dylan if Dylan can be a decoy vote for Amy so we don’t have to worry about who’s she voted for when she’s being given a decoy and the girl doesn’t even know, I’m kinda setting up Noah to look like a stronger player in Dylan’s eyes, I just hope I perceive to be a weak player as in strategic wise to the others. The Queen Stays Queen Adios Amy xx
Tumblr media
Man petrel is on a roll. 3 straight challenges and I must say I am impressed. I am happy my team is successful but I’m kind of disappointed I wanted to go to tribal. I wanted to get this game going and see if I could make some moves. I’m confident in my Corgis alliance the the side relationship I have build with Kyle and Annemarie that I think I have a good grasp for the game. I wish we lost and I would have probably waited to see what everyone wanted to do. I’m expecting Steven to be the number 1 target in my estimation. I would like to target maybe Tim because he is a strong player and was on of my targets so I would love the chance to go into the immunity pool for that idol. But I have to be patient and passive I just really want to see where everyone loyalty lie. Should be very interesting
Tumblr media
I don't want to lose because I actually like everyone on this tribe. But...we're all literally just sitting here singing Kumbaya around the campfire. The REAL test is going to come once the game turns dog eat dog. After this tribal, Thrush likely will be at least somewhat divided and know that those in the minority might be more likely to cross tribal lines in the instance of a swap. Petrel is loose and unpredictable! So....I'm not asking for tribal....but I'm sorta asking for tribal! It would tell a lot!
Tumblr media
Well! I was surprised how organized we were as a group in the challenge! I definitely feel we make a great team and honestly I think for me once I feel like I am under pressure I act out and I am happy I was able to contribute

Tumblr media
Hello! So I am waiting in the standby line at Radiator Springs right now so...45 minute wait yay! It’s a good thing we won the challenge yesterday so I can enjoy Disneyland without having to worry about tribal. What’s really interesting to me is that I see myself trying to implement David Bloomberg’s rules without even realizing it. I’m scheming and plotting, albeit trying to keep a lot of it under the radar - to at least make it appear like I’m not scheming and plotting too much. So for example, for rule clarifications for the immunity twist, I am getting those answers in my host chat rather than the tribe chat. I don’t want them to know that I am actually thinking about these things strategically. Last thing I want to do is be michaela-ed out of this game and be undateable!!! I would like for me or one of my alliance mates (preferably Chris or Rizo) to get the idol if we end up having to go to tribal council and vote people out. It isn’t so much that I want to have the immunity, but I want to know where it is. In this game, knowledge is power. Knowing who has the immunity idol is important. Ideally it’s on our side, but if we keep winning, it might not be. If the other tribe does get it, we will have to keep the majority OG Petrel and split votes. That would probably be our smartest option, assuming everyone is willing to stay Petrel-strong. That’s my plan for now. But don’t doubt that I will flip if I think it will benefit me in the game. Another thing that I did this round was discussing a little strategy with Chris, as he is my #1. I wanted to get a feel for where his head was at in case we went to tribal council. (We had this discussion on voice chat during the immunity challenge). My thinking is that I want to try to get some cards out on the table pre-losing a challenge just to not make it look like I’m just strategizing because we lost. It’s a tough balance. So what I did was I just asked Chris where his head was at in case we did lose. We both agreed that the 6 needs to stay strong (Chris, me, Rizo, Sara, AnnMarie, Liam). That leaves Kyle, Steven, and Tim. I waited until Chris threw out a name first. He said that he didn’t like how Tim reacted in the first immunity challenge when our second move didn’t count because we formatted it wrong. He said that he didn’t like that Tim was sooooo upset at the hosts. That gave me an opening to share that when I accidentally made an incorrect Harry Potter reference, Tim all of a sudden didn’t talk to me as much. I didn’t share my thoughts that I think Tim is very smart and strategic. I would be afraid of him in the merge - he comes off as someone who would be okay throwing alliance members under the bus to further his game. I mean, I am too (IN THE GAME - I LOVE MY PEOPLE AS PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF THE GAME). So if we do lose an immunity, Tim will probably be a target; however, it may be beneficial to get Kyle or Steven out since they are on my list. We will see how things go if it comes down to it. Another thing that I need to balance is my threat level in challenges. It’s tough because I want us to win, and it’s hard for me not to take control of the challenges. I’m trying to control just as much as I think I need to to win, but not adding too much extra strategically if it’s not needed. Okay, so alliances: things are about the same, but there is one new alliance - Tim’s Devils. So basically, Tim made a group chat with AnnMarie, Sara, and me with some important information. Apparently when he played Hero’s chess with Tawnie, she told him that Noah has been a little creepy (AKA Dan-like) with the girls in their tribe. Now, unfortunately this could be three different things: 1. Noah could actually be creeping and that would be gross. I’m assuming that since he wasn’t ousted from the game, that if he is being creepy, he got a warning and stopped. 2. Tawnie could be making it up. Now, I would hope that wouldn’t be the case, especially given the events of the current season with Missy and Elizabeth. I really really REALLY hope this isn’t the case. Why would she do this? Maybe she has Noah on her list for the immunity twist. If she is doing it, and it’s for that reason, that would be super messed up. 3. Tim could be making up the story that Tawnie told him. Again, I would hope this isn’t true. What would his motivation be? Maybe to keep the target off of himself in a merge or swap? All three of these scenarios are messed up. Sexual harassment is not okay, and neither is using it for gameplay! So Chris said that Corgis is the new FOUTTE (four of us to the end - a bb21 reference). I said we have to keep the name Corgis, and Fessie is not invited. I’m in for that final 4, except for Sara. I adore Sara, but in terms of the immunity twist, she is on my list along with Kyle and Steven. So I need to figure out a way to get her out ASAP, without making it obvious that I’m doing it. I haven’t mentioned this to anyone in the tribe. AnnMarie knows she’s on my list, but I’m on AnnMarie’s list. So it might be beneficial to get AnnMarie out at some point too. I don’t know who else has me on their list. Chris is my #1 for now. As much as I adore him as well, I am not afraid to throw him under the bus in the finals. Chris, if you are reading this after the game, I love you and it’s just game play! I do want to go to the end with you though!!!!! F2! Or F3 with Rizo if that’s the case. The other tribe has been going to tribal. So unless we have a tribe swap soon, they are more likely to get the idol first. So that is definitely something to keep in mind. If Noah goes home tonight, it will be in the back of my mind that Tawnie may have him on her list. And if someone from their tribe gets the immunity, then she may be a contender. Should keep things interesting! Okay, so it’s almost time for me to get on Radiator Springs - so that’s it for now!
Tumblr media
So I find that my top 2 are Rizo and Gwen, both of whom have now told me in various ways that I'm their number 1. This should be interesting! I actually dig Rizo a lot but also I had good vibe on Gwen since seeing her intro so we are gonna have to see how this plays out!
Tumblr media
I talked to Gwen and we both said we didnt have each other for the twist but I voiced my concern on having the name of someone I like but beung unsure if I should tell them and she felt best to not say a word so I guess Im not telling Rizo 8l
Tumblr media
Okay FIRST OFF i don’t wanna day that i’m controlling the game. But i’m controlling the game. I’m obviously a F2 with Tawni bc we know eachother and we tell eachother everything. Noah thinks he’s my F2 but tbh i hope me and tawni can get him out soon bc he’s so PARANOID. Will thinks that we are bffs and i’m blindsiding him tonight. Dylan and Amy think i’m super close with them. And i’m also cool with vincent and Austin. Everyone keeps coming to ME with different plans and it honestly feels nice. I’m just gonna keep being nice while telling them what is going to happen. mwah X
Tumblr media
Everything’s going good(knock on wood). We’ve won two straight immunities and the reward challenge(way to go Tim), and we’re about to have the numbers by two people. Hoping we can keep our immunity streak going. I want to get a good group going, possibly with an alliance chat. I feel pretty good with everybody. Really hoping we don’t swap anytime soon. And finally. Go Petrel.

Ok, so I'm gonna be a little mean, but I think I already know who doesn't like me. It feels like a lot of people in my tribe. Everyone is lovely, but I feel a bit disconnected from everyone, especially because of my inactivity. I'm happy though, because everyone works so well in challenges. My inactivity due to school is gonna mess up my game for sure. I'll try to be a bit more bold and there, so I'm not as forgettable as I think I am.

NFL 2018 predictions: our writers call the winners, losers and also-rans

NFL 2018 predictions: our writers call the winners, losers and also-rans
Will the Eagles repeat? Will Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck return to restore their teams fortunes? And who will go down in flames?
Best team that won’t make the playoffs
The part I feel confident in saying is that it will come from the NFC. Teams from that conference won 41 out of 64 games against AFC opponents in 2017 and trades like the one that sent Khalil Mack from Oakland to Chicago are hardly redressing the balance. Theres a lot of hype around the Giants after they upgraded the line and added Saquon Barkley, but Im not convinced they can bridge the gap in a year when the schedule looks grim. PB
Green Bay Packers. The thing about the Packers is that we don’t know how healthy Aaron Rodgers will be. If he’s playing like the Rodgers of old, they’re absolutely making the playoffs. If he struggles, the Packers probably end up having a losing record. Let’s split the difference here and say that Rodgers will be good, but not dominant, and Green Bay just miss the postseason. HF
Jacksonville. Jason Mendozas favorite team had the leagues easiest schedule during last years charmed run, their division is much-improved and their quarterback is Blake Bortles. No sale. BAG
The Lions will be balanced and explosive. They finally have a talented offensive line, featuring, at worst, an above-average player at every spot. Thats a decided advantage given the state of groups across the league. Matthew Stafford is surrounded by a stack of weapons, too. Defense will be their fatal flaw: the Lions lack speed up front. In the modern NFL, such things matter. OC
Non-playoff team from last year that will make the postseason
With a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the Packers are a safe bet to be contenders once more. PB
After trading for Jimmy Garoppolo last season, the 49ers ended their season on a 5-0 run. They thought the bounce was real enough to sign him to a historic five-year, $137.5m contract. Time will tell whether he ends up being more “next big hype” than “next big hope,” but it’s hard to see them missing out on the playoffs if he plays like he did at the end of last season. HF
Green Bay. The Packers were among the NFCs best teams last year when Aaron Rodgers went down for the season with a broken collarbone. They finished 7-9 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Theyll be back. BAG
The Texans would have made the postseason last year were it not for Deshaun Watsons injury. Health will be the issue again this season. If they can keep their stars on the field Watson, JJ Watt, and Jadeveon Clowney they will enter the playoffs as one of the top seeds in the AFC. OC
MVP
The Packers should be a force again if Aaron Rodgers stays fit. Photograph: Jeffrey Phelps/AP
Aaron Rodgers made no secret at his sadness over the Packers decision to part ways with Jordy Nelson, but in Jimmy Graham he has a new red-zone target to enjoy. Im expecting a big year from the quarterback as he bounces back from the injury that kept him out for most of the 2017 season. PB
Jimmy Garoppolo. At this point in NFL history, we assume that the MVP will be a quarterback. If my earlier prediction that Garoppolo will drag the 49ers to the playoffs practically by himself pans out, then he gets serious MVP consideration. It’s also possible that the league has added incentive to hand the award to the current 49ers quarterback just to spite the former 49ers quarterback currently making the NFL’s life difficult. HF
Rodgers. How lucky for Green Bay the best player in the sport plays the most important position. Every year hes healthy, the Packers are among the last teams standing in January. BAG
Andrew Luck! He will bounce back to pre-injury levels, leading to all sorts of hyperbole and hardware. Luck is playing on the worst roster in a tough division. If he can drag the Colts to the postseason, he will have earned the award. OC
Rookie of the year
Saquon Barkley is the obvious choice, for both talent and opportunity in a Giants offense that has been so long without a viable running game. So just to be contrary, Ill take Broncos pass rusher Bradley Chubb, who looked sharp in preseason and should not face too many double teams with Von Miller lined up on the other side. PB
The Giants picked Barkley second overall in this years draft, something which is nearly unheard of considering how running backs are typically valued in the modern NFL. Given where the Giants drafted him, they expect that Barkley will start producing immediately and, if he does, its possible that he will run away with rookie of the year honors. HF
Barkley. The Giants will be terrible again but they have a top-five offense on paper and the Penn State career all-purpose yards leader will be responsible for a lions share of it. BAG
Given his position and the market he plays in, I think this is Sam Darnolds award to lose. However, I think the two most impactful rookies will be Denzel Ward (CB, Browns) and Josh Jackson (CB, Packers). Jackson has an outside shot of clinching the award because hell be playing in big-time games on the national stage, a requirement for non-quarterbacks or running backs. And hes more likely to top young corners in the big metrics: interceptions, passes defended etc. OC
Johnny Manziel Disaster Waiting To Happen Dept
A team playing in a city that wants to sue it? Yes, this can only end well. PB
We’re going to see the end of the Roger Goodell Era. At a certain point, there will be enough public pressure on Goodell from all sides that he realizes it’s just not worth it to remain as NFL commissioner. Maybe it will happen because of how he’s handling the anthem controversy. Maybe it will happen when yet another star player gets caught committing a horrific act of abuse and the league’s response ends up being appallingly inadequate. Whatever it is, it feels like at some point this season, an overwhelmed Goodell is going to accept a “golden parachute” offer and make a hasty but profitable exit. May God have mercy on whoever ends up having to clean up his mess. HF
Theres no fun in being right about these things. But trouble never seems to be far behind Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston, whos already starting the season on a three-game suspension for allegedly groping an Uber driver. BAG
How about Johnny Manziel. Look at the state of back-up quarterbacks around the league. Somebody is going to talk themselves into Manziel at some point during the season, particularly if we get a spate of injuries. Manziel will suit up for at least one drive this season. It wont go well. OC
One bold prediction
Will Tyrod Taylor remain the Browns starting quarterback? Photograph: Ron Schwane/AP
The Colts will make the postseason. OK, this prediction relies entirely on Andrew Luck staying healthy, but in seasons when he starts 15 or more games, Indianapolis have gone 11-5, 11-5, 11-5, 8-8. People forget quite what a game-changer he is. Yes, there are lots of questions elsewhere on this roster, and his health is far from a certainty. But Frank Reich is a fine offensive coach, and the Colts did at least try to upgrade the pass protection this offseason. I can see a path to nine or 10 wins for this team in a shallow AFC. PB
This is going to sound like heresy here in New England, but there’s a very real chance we see Tom Brady, who just turned 41, decline this season. No we haven’t seen significant signs of trouble yet but, as we saw with Peyton Manning, when the end comes in the NFL, it comes quick. HF
The tricked-out Los Angeles Rams are coming off an 11-5 season and have emerged as a trendy Super Bowl pick, but theyll be doomed by a lack of chemistry and miss the playoffs as the San Francisco 49ers win NFC West. BAG
Jacksonville trade for Tyrod Taylor.Cleveland will start the season with Taylor at quarterback, but Baker Mayfield is primed to takeover. The Browns will use the first few weeks of the season to pump-up Taylors trade value. Taylor represents an upgrade over Bortles. If the Jacksonville quarterback struggles early, the Jags should seek a deal. OC
This year, the anthem protests will…
Be misrepresented by opponents as a protest against the national anthem and/or American values. PB
Continue to be the biggest storyline in football. It’s clear that the NFL’s attempts to determine the proper punishment for protesting players just reignited the controversy. It’s going to be another long season for the “stick to sports” crowd. HF
Make national headlines beyond the sports page as Trump hits the campaign trail to stump for his endorsees ahead of the midterm elections, which take place right after the seasons halfway mark. BAG
Lead to the decertification of the NFLPA. At this point, it feels like its the players only option if they want to make significant, long lasting changes. The NFLs middle class is declining. Elite players smartly used holdouts this preseason to get major paydays. Rookie contracts are as valuable and cost-effective as ever. Players in the middle, still the majority of the league, continue to lose their leverage. That, plus the bad will towards the owners and commissioner, could lead the players towards a drastic step. OC
AFC East champ
The Patriots. Again. PB
Even if Brady does lose a step or two in the upcoming season, it shouldn’t be enough to prevent the Patriots from winning their division. Bill Belichick is still the head coach and the competition in the AFC East once again doesn’t look likely to provide much competition. HF
New England. Weve seen cracks in the Brady-Belichick-Kraft triumvirate over the past two years and the three-time MVP quarterback, who turned 41 last month, will inevitably slow down at some point. But the baked-in advantage of a trash division all but ensures a 15th AFC East title in 17 seasons for the Patriots. BAG
Nobody in AFC East has caught up with the Patriots yet. New Englands biggest flaw in the past couple of years has been speed in the front-seven. They added Adrian Clayborn in free agency and see Derek Rivers return, an edge-rusher who missed his rookie season with a knee injury. Those names might not mean a great deal to you right now, but they are improvements to the weakest part of an already loaded team. OC
AFC North champ
Antonio Browns Steelers are the team to beat in the AFC North. Photograph: Don Wright/AP
Between LeVeon Bells extended holdout, the Ryan Shazier-shaped hole in the middle of the defense and Ben Roethlisbergers 14 seasons of wear and tear, it is no foregone conclusion that the Steelers retain their division crown. But if the running back does return to the field in time for week one, then they will once again be hard to beat. PB
This might be the toughest call in the AFC, as the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens should both be equally tough outs, no matter who they’re playing. The Steelers, however, just seem like a scarier team. Maybe the edge is that Roethlisberger has that uncanny knack of completing plays despite being pulled apart by the opposing defense while Joe Flacco is Joe Flacco. HF
Pittsburgh. Anyone but the Steelers, where bona fide stars Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Bell (maybe) will feature, would be a surprise after winning four of the last five AFC North titles, although an improved Baltimore side will likely challenge for a wild-card spot. BAG
Im all for the excitement in Cleveland. The team has youth, talent, and exciting players on both sides of the ball. Baltimore may have the top defense in the league; at any rate its the most versatile. And keep an eye on Cincinnati. The Bengals are sliding under-the-radar. They have as fearsome a pass-rush as anyone, and just enough explosiveness on offense to make opponents worry. Still, this is the Steelers division to lose. The only thing I can see derailing Pittsburgh is another injury to Roethlisberger. OC
AFC South champ
Ive already made my case for the Colts as a more competitive team than many have predicted. Houston ought to be stronger, too, with Deshaun Watson and JJ Watt both back from injury. Tennessee won nine games last year and made useful additions on either side of the ball in Dion Lewis and Malcolm Butler. The Jaguars are still my pick, though, thanks to that suffocating D. PB
This division feels like it’s going to go down to who manages to have a comeback player of the year caliber season. If Luck plays like a franchise quarterback again, the Colts have the edge. If Watt plays like the force he once was, the Texans could take control of the division. I like Watt’s chances. HF
Houston. The emerging star Watson should pick up where he left off before getting injured last year. Watt is back, too. Throw in the additions of Tyrann Mathieu and Aaron Colvin and the Texans should have enough to overtake the Jaguars. BAG
With Watson back in the fold and a star-studded defense at every level, the Texans have the makings of a division champion. There are issues around the edges: Houstons offensive line has less talent than any in the league; depth on defense is an issue. Health will likely be the deciding factor. OC
AFC West champ
With a competent kicking game, the Chargers might have taken the division last year. It is no guarantee that Caleb Sturgis can provide it, but his modest 81% career success rate is still a great deal better than the 66% achieved by a hapless cast in 2017. PB
The Chiefs season may come down to how good Patrick Mahomes ends up being in his first full year at quarterback, but this feels like a team that can pick up enough wins in the regular season to capture the division and then go on to suffer an Andy Reid-assisted flameout in their first playoff game. HF
The Chargers. Philip Rivers is back at the stick of last years top-ranked passing offense and the defense is better than it gets credit for. They finished strong, winning nine of their last 12 games after going winless in September. It should be enough to end Kansas Citys two-year reign atop the division. BAG
Preseason injuries have tortured the Chargers, again. Still, LA are poised for a deep playoff run They still have the top edge-rushing duo in the league, a great secondary and a seasoned quarterback. OC
NFC East champ
When will Carson Wentz return to the field? Can he perform at the same MVP level that he achieved before his injury last year? Does it really matter, given that the Eagles won the Super Bowl with Nick Foles anyway, and beefed up an imposing defensive line rotation with Michael Bennett and Haloti Ngata since then? PB
The reigning world champions should be the favorites to once again to win their division. It will be interesting to see how things go with Wentz set to take the reins back from Foles, but that probably goes into the category of Good Problems To Have. HF
Philadelphia. Its been 13 years since a team in the NFLs glamour division has won it twice in a row, but theres every reason to believe the Eagles will break the schneid. Theyre deep on both lines, theyve added a couple nice pieces on defense (including Michael Bennett and Sidney Jones) and Wentz was playing at an MVP level until he went down to injury. BAG
The Eagles should go back-to-back. They have an embarrassment of riches all over the field. Watch for second-year cornerback Sidney Jones. He missed his entire rookie year with an achilles injury. If he bounces back to his pre-injury level, he will be an instant star. Of course, all this presupposes that Wentz returns in week three. If not, Philly will be in trouble. OC
NFC North champ
The Vikings won 13 games last season and believe they will be better with Kirk Cousins behind center and a healthy Dalvin Cook in the backfield. But as long as the Packers have an upright Aaron Rodgrs, theyre going to be hard to pick against. PB
It feels weird picking the team that will be starting Cousins over the team starting Rodgers, but the latter is a question mark and Minnesota feel like they are going to win out thanks to the talent they have on the defensive end of the ball. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if the division comes down to tiebreakers, however. HF
Minnesota. One could argue the splashy addition of free-agent quarterback Kirk Cousins to a team coming off a 13-3 campaign made the Vikings the NFLs most complete team. But the Packers, benefitting from the return of Rodgers and a revamped defense, will push them till the end. BAG
This is a true toss-up. The Bears trading for Khalil Mack changes the entire dynamic of the division. Vic Fangio is coming for Mike Zimmers best-defense-in-the-division crown. Chicago are young and have lethal speed at every level of its defense. Out in Green Bay, theres that Aaron Rodgers guy to deal with. And you cant rule out the Lions making a run, either. On balance, though, I like the Vikings chances. Theyre the more proven team on either side of the ball. Kirk Cousins represents an upgrade over Case Keenum at quarterback. Dalvin Cook returning from injury will help push Minnesota over the top. OC
NFC South champ
Will Drew Brees win another Super Bowl as his career winds down? Photograph: Gerald Herbert/AP
Hey, remember how the Saints were one miracle play away from going to the NFC Championship game last year? Yeah, they really havent lost a lot of pieces since. This will be another very competitive division, but a team that can turn to Drew Brees when the running game isnt working, rather than the other way around, is a team in very rude health indeed. PB
The Saints signed Brees to a two-year extension back in March with the hope that he had at least one more season of playing like Drew Effing Brees in him. While he’s eyeing records held by legends like Brett Favre and Peyton Manning, one has to think that his goal will be returning to the Super Bowl. It’s not out of the question. HF
Former MVP Matt Ryan leads an Atlanta Falcons offense featuring an embarrassment of riches, among them Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Mohamed Sanu, Austin Hooper and Justin Hardy. No shortage of playmakers on defense, either. New Orleans and Carolina should contend but look for the Falcons to contend for the NFCs top overall seed. BAG
I have no confidence in this pick. I love the offense that has been put together in New Orleans. But I still dont entirely trust all the young pups on defense. Granted, I hardly trust Steve Sarkisian calling plays for Atlantas offense, but I trust it a little more. Side note: I think Tampa have the potential to be a true dumpster fire. OC
NFC West champ
Ive picked Gurley and Donald to win player of the year awards already. It feels like a stretch to suggest that anyone other than the Rams would win this division if they do. PB
Could the Rams end up being good enough this season to actually get Los Angeles to buy into them? Maybe not, but they have the opportunity to stay in the public consciousness long enough that people stop forgetting that they no longer play in St Louis. HF
The 49ers started 1-10 before Jimmy Garoppolo got a chance under center and closed out with five straight wins. If the Rams bold gamble to reach the Super Bowl doesnt pay off, look for the Niners to take advantage. BAG
The Rams have transformed the nature of the NFC West in a couple of years thanks to a pair of coaching hires (Sean McVay and Wade Phillips) and a raft of free-agent moves and trades. Do win-now moves always work out? No. But the Rams were smart with who they targeted this offseason. They reenforced strengths and improved upon weakness. Their secondary reads like an All-Pro list. Their defensive line is even better. The 49ers will push them close, but ultimately the Rams have too much quality to disappoint. OC

Super Bowl LIII
The Patriots and Eagles have the tools to reach the Super Bowl again. Photograph: Kevin Lamarque/Reuters
Rams over Patriots. After becoming the NFLs youngest head coach in modern history, and then the youngest coach of the year, Sean McVay completes the set by becoming the youngest to win a Super Bowl as well. Better yet, he does it against the most successful of them all. PB
Steelers over Saints. Old guy quarterback showdown! Roethlisberger will be 36. Brees will be 40! As a game, however, it might end up being anticlimactic. One can imagine Brees burying Pittsburgh in touchdowns, picking up MVP honors and announcing his retirement live on television. At least that’s the Hollywood ending, we should know by now that Super Bowl games rarely follow the script. HF
Eagles over Patriots. Its down to Carson Wentz, really. But if Philadelphias third-year quarterback makes a full recovery from his knee injury and can regain the MVP form he showed during his breakout sophomore campaign (where he threw for 33 touchdowns against only seven interceptions), the Eagles will become the first team in more than a decade to repeat as Super Bowl champions. BAG
Vikings over Patriots. Dumping Case Keenum for Kirk Cousins pays off. The Vikings skill-positions are as talented as any group in the league. Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen might be the best two-man receiving tandem around. Dalvin Cook is a special talent. Add that offense to a top-tier defense and you have a potent championship formula. I have the Patriots suffering another heartbreaker in the Super Bowl. There are concerns with their receiving group and offensive tackle spots. But they still have Brady at the peak of his powers, and a potentially frisky defense that has filled in its holes. No other team in the AFC has the same proven quality. OC

Diary of Clawdia Wolf
I’ll make you a villain if you read my diary.
