A Man on The Inside so far- Ted's character's name is Charles, he reports to a PI named Julie, he has a recorder to send memos to her regarding the investigation, so he refers to her often by her first name and just hearing him say the name "Julie" so much is just *chefs kiss* Also, "Julie, Jan is dead" was the best delivered line so far and it's only episode 2.

i think it's time that we as a society realized that actually eternals wasn't bad it was just not standard marvel fare and that's okay

#maybe i'm biased #it is my favorite marvel movie after all #but i truly think so much of the hate was that it was a diverse cast with overtly pro-choice messaging that freaked marvel fans out #is it flawed? yes. but all marvel movies are #but something about that found family and cast and creative team that clearly cared deeply about the story they were telling really got me #there was so much care put into the making of it!#lauren ridloff (makkari) made name signs for all the characters because she is actually deaf and wanted to make the film good representatio #and all the cast learned basic sign language so they could talk to her on and off the set #it's so unlike every other marvel movie and that's why i love it #it's not afraid to push boundaries and be strange and make mistakes #and i'm so sad that it will never get a sequel because there was so much potential for those characters and their stories #i wanted to see makkari and druig realize they love each other #i wanted to see them deal with the fallout of their actions #i wanted to see the family fracture and then see them all find their way back to each other #i wanted to see more queer representation in a character of color whose whole story wasn't all about being queer and isn't just a cameo #i wanted more!#and i'm not afraid to admit it!#maybe it would have been better as a tv show but i dunno. i switch thoughts about that a lot #i think the alternating timeline was really interesting and kept me engaged the whole time but i am definitely in the minority for that one #but i also don't like endgame so. you know. maybe i can't be trusted #anyway that was a whole ass essay #if you read all that hope you enjoyed. drink some water. give yourself a pat on the back. i love you.#the eternals #marvel #drukkari

Why do you think situationships are so common… what’s wrong with love nowadays

people genuinely just have more options these days. it's not something i find either objectively good or objectively bad--it's just fact. that and we are past the ancient times where people need to marry early to gain stability, so commitment is no longer a must for lots of people.

i get how situationships are frustrating to people at large, and i can see adverse effects of it being prevalent like hu culture, but i am also glad to be alive at a time where i have more liberty to choose who i date and there's more flexibility to date more people in general. yeah i'm not a fan of treating people like they're products, probably why i stay away from dating apps, but in that same breath i do appreciate that i'll never have to settle for anyone in a world of 8 billion people. so i guess i do understand the frustration, but if someone isn't willing to commit to you when they have options i think that's honestly a good way to weed them out. i'd rather someone didn't commit to me in a sea of options vs committing to me bc they have no one else. and ultimately finding that someone who does commit to you in today's fast-paced dating scene will be worth it.

Why do queer people seem so much more in love than straight people?

Like in general. I know that you can give examples of straight people being really in love, but in general queer people just seem happier together. They seem more free, if you know what I mean.

people are so rude about those really nice temporary tattoos that look decently real. "just get a real one" as if there aren't a million reasons why someone wouldn't want/be able to get a real one. it doesn't just boil down to someone being a "fake poser"

#maybe I'm biased #but I want one of those temporary ones so bad #I have sensitive skin and a low pain tolerance and high risk for skin infections #all of which would make getting a real tattoo kind of dangerous for me even though I Really want one #so bad #and some people are fickle and indecisive!#and know they are!!#so they don't want to permanently commit to something they might not want anymore in 3 months #idk I juat find the judgment and accusations to be cruel and thoughtless #I know there's culture around tattoos but sometimes there are real limitations people have #and making something pretty to accomodate that isn't a bad thing #as long as the temporary tattoo isn't stealing art or using sketchy practices then literally who cares

While I'm partial to characters gaining weight as a sign of healing, and fat redesigns in general, Ochako works especially well

Considering she would often skip meals entirely in order to save money, so seeing her fat at least implies that she's doing well financially
