(maybe im reading too much into it but, though i really love nickybois (league of legends youtuber) stuff, him saying in his recent video about arcane that powder, although not jinx yet, was already showing signs of being crazy while showing footage of her meltdown in season 1 ... feels pretty shitty to hear as an autistic person who, though rarely, has had meltdowns like that .. even as an adult .. )

it's really interesting rewatching season 2, particularly in light of s7 and how obvious tim made it that he regretted killing off shannon, because they don't really do much with eddie and shannon's storyline when she's alive. other than the ep where she comes back, the christmas ep and the ep where she dies we don't see a lot. and while they absolutely have chemistry and there's potential there for an interesting story with shannon wanting a divorce, it's not all that different from the way they phone it in with other love interests eddie has had.

and it's just cemented even more to me that what really makes eddie and shannon interesting is what we get in eddie begins. bc their scenes in eddie begins are so fucking meaty. their arguments, the tension, the clear way in which they know each other despite there being a massive disconnect/breakdown in communication - all of that is what makes my brain whir because there are So Many layers and there's so much to unpack and even though it's eddie's ep, the insight we get into shannon and her perspective is fascinating.

and now i'm wondering if that's when tim realised it too??? if he saw just how good their scenes could be when given the depth their conflict needed and realised he might've been too trigger happy??? bc like, they Do have some interesting scenes in s2 that 100% hint at their issues and cement the how much history they have together but their eddie begins scenes are honestly unparalleled. and none of this is to say they could've or should've stayed together had shannon lived but they'd already set up a very interesting dynamic with the 2x17 divorce conversation that could've played out over at least a season if they wanted it to (while also leaving the door open to have shannon leave or have them reconcile down the line depending on how things go)

The 'Enjoying watch you suffer' line in Broadcast has always been hard to pin down; Tim's leg getting broken is the biggest incident in Entry #35, so it's natural to want to tie the two together, but it seems to fit so indelicately into what we know about the timeline of totheark's internal relationship that it almost causes more problems than it resolves. However, even though it's very blink and miss it, Tim does actually manage to stab Alex in the arm before he gets knocked down -- we hear Alex cry out in pain, can see blood on the blade when Jay picks it up, and then in the recovered corrupted footage from that tape that Jay posts as Entry #36 Alex says "I did what I had to... he'd just stabbed me" -- and that injury being what totheark was trying to call attention to, to me, reads a lot more clear and consistent than anything else does

OH MY GOD TAKES U BY THE SHOULDERS. hwo is botw. i love that game franchise so much i am so OVERJOYED to see people playing it. the first playthrough is always the craziest and i wish i could experience it all over again. ANYWAYS TELL ME HOW IS IT PLEASE

i’m having a lot of fun :D honestly the main reason i finally started playing it [i’ve had a copy for like 4 years but i gave it to my little brother because i got bored within 10 minutes the first time i tried it] is because i watched game grumps playthrough of it so i got a feel for what the game actually Was so its not like i went in fully blind, but in the gg series they didn’t exactly get very thorough so it’s been cool finding all the places they didn’t see and properly getting to know the characters and story :] i’ve got like 3 or 4 memories already [i looked up a guide because now way was i finding them on my own] and my favourite character is rather predictably sidon <3 he was grown in a lab for me to love him lol

i think my friend who told me it was a good first zelda game back when i first got it might’ve been right because i am having a BLAST even just doing the puzzles [tbf they’re my favourite part of most games] in the shrines and it’s making me wanna check out some other zelda games after i finish botw + get me and my brother a new shared copy of totk because his is broken
