i never read Warror Cats (never even heard of it til tumblr I don't think) but I read the fuck out of Varjak Paw which appears to have had a similar vibe and fuckin SHOOK me
especially the art style, which was always just... unnerving (in a good way) and really set the tone of the book
#every now and then i suddenly remember its existence#and how much i loved it#kinda wanna reread it#jamie's chitchat#maybe i should look up the sequel(s?) at some point too 🤔
