I loved that bit with Raph and Mikey just goofing around? Cute! Also it makes so much sense that Raph would think that having a cool car would be a key element to Batman being cooler than Superman lol. I love the chili pepper gum prank too, it's such a Mikey thing to do and then following it up by saying that he actually just really likes the taste of it as well? Love that!

A new sculpture! Finally... I feel like I never sculpt anymore since I'm always sick or have some 500 other things going on or projects to finish, but I'm trying to schedule time to do it more often this year hopefully..! Just a generic fantasy creature as usual, but did try making the eyes a little more sparkly this time.. hrmm..

#not tcg#so close but so expensive#its hard to find a piloswine that isn't holofoil and the holofoils are not cheap#the treecko is around $80-90 pretty consistently#squirtle and bulba turn up on ebay pretty often but its hard to get them in a way thats not an auction#or a set#and i got the charmander cheap and a little damaged#maybe ill buy a set and i can give the charmander to someone else doing a morii collection because the dp promos are a PAIN

ive been watching sooo many vids of people doing doll restorations and doll customizations... making me both fight off the desperate urge to attempt New Hobby just because it Looks Fun and also resisting the urge to repurchase the fave barbie i had as a kid on ebay,,,,
#i dont have a job rn i dont need to be spending money on this kind of nostalgia for the latter lol#my fave was a SPECIFIC doll#well actually i had 2 faves but i think the other was like a generic one#but i specifically remember i had the 2001 nutcracker barbie + ken#who i guess were named clara and eric lol#idr if i had the kellys.... i did have a few kellys i just dunno if they were part of that set#i think i literally only had one ken doll. MAYBE two ? and one was the nutcracker guy#but his nutcracker head creeped me out so i never used it#i also think i fucked up his slicked back hair bc. well i was a child LOL#but i remember specifically those two bc of the creepy nutcracker head and bc clara had that special jointed body#since her whole thing was like the nutcracker ballet movie or w/e#and i loved the way her joints moved and clicked and her swooshy curly hair#but also when i was a kid i liked smearing makeup on my dolls LOL#so like. watching restoration and custom vids and seeing how people Actually pull that off in a more professional way#it awakens that inner childhood interest lol#and like i HAVE a lot of the supplies already for that. i have paints and pastels and a billion craft supplies ive accumulated over years#which makes it all the more tempting to buy a used doll off like ebay or a thrift store or something for funsies#that would be more affordable than trying to win a bid war for clara 😑 LOL#but i mean. if i do end up employed with a comfortable salary again someday#and if i have money to spare. perhaps i'd consider trying to get clara lol i know shes out there#but also im not willing to spend THAT much so i probs still wouldnt#tho maybe i can find one thats kinda fucked up and try to clean her idk . I have never seen a cloud print thing out in the wild actually#OR sometimes you finally find stuff that's sky/cloud themed but it's like... a washcloth for babies. instead of a shirt. ... sad#they probably do have them and you can maybe get them at stores sometimes but. hhhh.....#Buying things new is so stinky. everything costs over $10 >:( why.. why cost mony >:(#I think once you get used to everything being like 25 cents an item to MAYBE $8 or something at a real thrift store#going to online or in person stores and seeing stuff like a cloud dress but it's $65 is like.......... I could never. I could never fathom#I mean. I WOULD pay $65 for a dress if it was literally like. Exactly every specific thing I love all in one and I know I would never find#it again in my entire life and could not make it myself and etc. etc. Like a pastel blue and white historical style dress with#puffy sleeves that goes down to the ankles and has a high ruffled collar and also has a pattern with cats and clouds and stars on it and the#sleeves and striped and there's lace and bows and things dangling from the cuffs and part of it is irridescent and there are long buttons or#lacing or some other elaborate details and tassles somewhere also and it's layered and 3 sizes too big for me so it's not tight#or etc. etc. I would pay maybe $80 for that. Perhaps $100 if it came with accessoriy bits (like a ruffled fancy apron or shawl or hisorical#bonnet or matching gloves that also had cats on them etc. ) - but otherwise. No.#ANYWAY. for someone who loves clouds SO much. Microdosing on having money by looking at virtual tours of apartments I can’t afford
#literally so annoying i won't be able to move out and get my own place for like at least a year give or take#i might finally be working full-time soon though#like currently i'm just working tuesdays and thursdays at my mom's work scanning medical records#but gamestop is having open interviews so i'm gonna go in monday#i don't actually know if gamestop is hiring full-time though#so if they're only hiring part-time i guess i'll just have to work two jobs#like maybe scan records two days a week and do gamestop the other three#so i'd be making money as if i were working full-time#and that'd hold me over for a while at least until i find an actual full-time job#but yeah even then it's gonna be quite a while before i can move out which is annoying#i just want a fucking place to myself#i've also thought about selling some of my old shit that i don't need anymore to make some extra cash on the side#like old dvds and action figures and whatnot that are still in decent condition#i could sell them on ebay or like trade em in at vintage stock or whatever#my mom always insists that we never sell that stuff cause she and dad spent so much money on them when i was a kid#and i get that. but frankly i don't care.#they bought them for me and i'm an adult and can do what i want with them so if i wanna sell em i can#and if they help me get out of here sooner then it's worth it#shut up tristan
