We have heights, we have voices....now we need a run down on the Siblings personality! Then the trilogy will be complete...and then I can (affectionately) release Stellar from my 6 star basement of adorableness.

Void

Confident, calculating, and unnerving.

Rarely without a smile on his face.

Has the energy of an apex predator. Unflinchingly comfortable in spite of any danger, having never known what it feels like to be prey.

Strongest out of his siblings and the leader of their little trio.

Manipulative and power hungry.

His creators have no real control over him. They've created a monster.

Views life as a game and himself as the main character. Doesn't recognize other people as actual people, only as pawns for him to play with. If they don't play the game they way he likes, he breaks them.

Taller than both Sonic and Shadow. Doesn't view either of them as parents, only genetic donors.

He sees Shadow in particular as his prototype.

Only acknowledges other people as important if they have great power or something that he recognizes as stand-out.

Has never known defeat nor fear. Both of these things have the power to shatter his world view.

His siblings are afraid of him for good reason.

Who is to say what his sexuality is??? Probably power-sexual. 😂 He would only ever be attracted to someone based off of strength or what they could offer him.

Andromeda

Short-tempered, snide, and bitter.

A gloomy person over all, almost always in a perpetual state of scowling.

The emotional core of the failed experiment trio. Does her best to keep Void and Polarity from killing each other.

Deeply envious of Stellar and her happy relationship with Sonic and Shadow. Wonders why she wasn't found and whisked away to a better life.

Awful self-esteem. Knows she is unhappy with her life in Cosmic Labs, but doesn't see any way out. At least she has a place she belongs if she stays inside the box that was made for her.

Cares for both Void and Polarity, but doubts if Void returns that sentiment. She and Polarity are close, getting along well when they are alone.

Pressured by their creators to get Void to behave. Since they cannot punish him, Andromeda and Polarity are often punished in his stead.

Secretly craves love, affection, and praise. Despite this, she chooses to fight Stellar whenever they encounter one another instead of accepting her offerings of sisterhood.

If she had to pick between Void or Polarity, she'd pick Polarity.

She is a lesbian!

Polarity

Hot-headed, resentful, and explosive.

The weakest of the siblings (including Stellar) and he knows it. Only outdoes them in speed.

Has an extremely tumultuous relationship with Void. He is constantly trying to prove himself to their creators, but is outshone by his elder brother.

Despite this, he trains harder than either of his siblings, and is often covered in bandages from overworking himself.

Takes the most after Sonic despite everything, and is a fun-loving, quick-witted, and gentle person at his core. If isolated and given enough time to open up, he is actually very sweet.

Only ever confides in Andromeda, and cares about her deeply. He will often step in and take punishments in her stead.

A closeted nerd. Has a stash of old comic books that were given to him by a generous lab worker that he has read cover to cover countless times. He could quote any scene from memory.

Often speaks out against Void and his methods. Void has gotten very good a tuning him out on missions.

Lowest chaos energy reading of all Project Stellar experiments, but cannot be beat in willpower and determination. Notable for his inability to ever give up.

Has constant dark circles around his eyes from lack of sleep and stress. Rarely ever rests.

He is bisexual!

Alright here we go, songs and the characters.

All you wanna do (six the musical): Asa

This has to do with Asa’s past, which I’m actively writing down right now. It’ll make more sense later.

One way or another (specifically the one from Hocus Pocus 2): The chaos corrupt while looking for the 5 saviors.

I can’t really explain this one well, it’s more so the vibes I’m getting here.

Smells like teen spirit (Nirvana): [Redacted] during their teenage years and especially during the calamity

Again, kinda just the vibes here. It gives off a very angry type of thing, and [Redacted] was a very angry teen, so it kinda just feels like it fits.

Wellerman (Nathan Evans): Shalara

A part of Shalara’s past I’m pretty certain on writing wise is that at some point they ran away from the main islands, and effectively joined a pirate group. So this felt somewhat right in a sense.

Devil Town (Cavetown): Asa and Sage

Once again, part of their backstories which I’m writing now. It’ll make sense later.

After Dark (Mr.Kitty): [Redacted] in regards to the five saviors.

“I missed you, I’m sorry.” This sums it up. [Redacted] misses all of them, and feels like their deaths were almost entirely his fault.

No roots (Alice Merton): Niko

I genuinely cannot explain this one. There is no valid reason for this at all, it just feels right.

Boys will be bugs (Cavetown): Niko

Honestly once again this isn’t one is also one I can’t explain. For some reason it feels like it fits with my person headcanon that Niko is afab, but I can’t figure out why?? It sort of just feels accurate.

Thunderstruck (AC/DC): Fultein

The name. It’s basically my only reason here. But also some of the lines distinctly remind me of the way I wrote her death scene, so this may be a part of it.

Stay (Justin Bieber/The kid LAROI -god I’m sorry but I love this song-): TWM

Yet another I cannot explain?? Just feels correct here.

Lemons (Brye/Cavetown): [Redacted] in regards to the friend who betrayed him.

The friend who betrayed [Redacted] is directly inspired by someone I thought of as a friend, who bullied me so severely later in our friendship that it’s left me with a complex about my lack of body weight. This song is how I think of her friendship now, so it feels right here to.

Run Boy Run (Woodkid): [Redacted], Niko, and Twm.

Honestly sometimes this is the theme my brain gives the Solstice run, so that’s why this is here.

Courtesy Call (Thousand Foot Krutch): The calamity

You ever have a moment where your brain turns something you’ve thought about a whole lot into an AMV? That’s what this is.

Misery x CPR x Reese’s puffs (I don’t know who put these together and can’t find it, can somebody tell me?): The entirety of the characters I roleplay as now.

Meteor shower (Cavetown, who I am realizing I listen too a lot): Twm and Niko

TWM I feel like this just sort of fits the personality I have in mind for them. Niko it feels like this represents the dreams they have during oneshot, and probably some stuff that happens directly after they come back. I dunno, the vibes are right.

Suffer (Petit Biscuit, Skott): [Redacted] and Twm.

[Redacted] during the calamity is what fits this. And once again with the way I’m setting up Twm and the way I think of them during the events of oneshot, this just fits.

Dog Days are over (Florence + The Machine): [Redacted] at the end of the calamity, Niko during the solstice run.

Enough said here, I feel like it fits.

Enter Sandman (Metallica): [Redacted]

Once again, [Redacted] was a very angry teenager, and this song just feels right.

Youth (Daughter): [Redacted] and the other saviors

This is actually one of the songs that helped me get an idea for what happened in [Redacted]’s past. When the other two show up while I’m scrolling my playlist I’ll add them.

Heart of Stone (Six the musical): Astris and [Redacted]

Their relationship was a very healthy one, but it was one that was effectively doomed from the beginning. Astris was always going to die, and this relationship would have always ended the way it did. So this just feels right for them.

Discord (The Living Tombstone): The calamity

This might be a little cliche, but it’s also one my brain basically used to make an amv of the calamity, which is neat because I cannot see images in my mind.

C’mon Loretta (Trixie Mattel -oh no, not the drag queen! Yes the drag queen it’s a good song): Sage

Another backstory thing. All I’ll say is the relationship Sage had with someone before meeting Asa was basically the intro to this song minus the getting married at 15 part.

Night glow (Honkai impact 3rd, Tanya Chua): The five saviors.

If you’ve ever seen the animated short this song is a part of? That’s basically the vibe here. Four of them died, basically to ensure both [Redacted] and the rest of the word could live. Even if it was predestined, they still in a sense made that choice, and this song feels right for that.

(At this point in the post I’ve been at this for a good two hours, and it’s starting to get long- but I’m not quite done with this part.)

Burning Pile (Mother Mother): Magrieus

This has to do with their backstory, which is also something I’m writing out now. It’ll make more sense soon.

Dual Ego (Honkai Impact 3rd, Sa Dingding): Niko and their alter (who I’m trying figure out a name for)

So remember how Niko basically gained a super powerful light form during the abduction arc?? Yeah I’ve started thinking of that form as a sort of alter ego for them, or as the song name would suggest, a Dual ego situation. This sorta also feels like the entire situation that ended up in [Redacted] dying, undying, and then another person (LOOKING AT YOU DENKO. I SEE YOU.) dying and then undying.

Rises the moon (Egg cover): Ludeius, [Redacted], and Niko

Allow me to break it down.

Sun (source of light): Ludeius

Moon (reflects that light): [Redacted]

Stars (another source of light, but dimmer, and often reflecting something as well): Niko.

That’s the angle here. [Redacted] is the moon in the song, Ludeius takes the role of the sun, and while they aren’t explicitly mentioned, Niko is the stars.

Broken (Lund): Twm and Rizu

Twm maybe could be expected here, given their literal craving for death before, but I am aware Rizu is kind of a twist for this song. This is sort of how she felt during her childhood, during that long period of neglect after her mothers death.

Brutal (Olivia Rodrigo): [Redacted]

This one is yet another case of I relate to this song incredibly personally at this moment in my life, and when [Redacted] was at this point this is also probably how he felt. Angry teen vibes.

XOXO (Kisses Hugs) (6raelyhuman, horrormovies, Pixel Hood): Niko and Rizu

Chaos gremlins.

Fairytale (Alexander Rybak): The five saviors (with an emphasis on Astris and [Redacted])

It’s another one that I just feel like fits these guys pretty well. They all probably do feel cursed, given four of them are basically destined to die very young, and the other to have to continue on after it.

Again (Crusher-P): Niko, [Redacted], and Twm

[Redacted] because they’re now going through a second prophecy situation, Niko because of the whole going through it almost a hundred times just as an attempt to save both, and Twm for basically the same reason, but just feeling like they’re being forced to stick around.

Sports (Beach Bunny): Rizu, Asa, and Sage

honestly it’s just a nice song, and it gives off almost the exact vibes of the polycule right when Rizu joins it. She might not have acted like it, but she was really nervous at first.

Crush (Tessa Violet): Rizu in regards to Asa and Sage (before joining the poly)

This is probably just how she felt right when she was starting to get close to the two.

Teir Abhaile Riu (literally way too many people for me too type in, go look up Celtic women as the artist if you search this song, but use the name): Shalara

once again, Shalara is basically booking it out of the water drake islands because she doesn’t want to be forced into an arranged marriage, so she basically follows the progression of: Go down to harbor town, find pirate/sailor person, join crew, get the hell out. It progresses a little different then the song does, but this song just gives me those vibes.

I’m going to stop here. I’ll continue later (and now we’ve hit two hours thirty minutes. Glorious.)

More Lore Dumping incoming

We all got the basics on this guy: Zelda? Bad. Ganondorf? Took him in yeah but bad. Link? 🤏 Lil fucked up because of them both and he cant talk, ugh awful, tragic

Now this is where it gets interesting. His whole plot comes from him going along with whatever is done to him, secretly becoming that wanted criminal while he hides as a hyrulian guard. So what happens to help escape this?

Well, Zelda is noticing that this new masked crook is silent. Almost like that kid she cursed into being. Who Ganondorf convinced her a while back to let him train and take in as one of the castle knights. So she summons Link and keeps him close to watch him.

Shenanigans happen where Ganondorf meant to send another different masked man to attack while Link is in uniform to protect Zelda and therefore the mask crook cant be Link, see?? Instead the timing of the hit is so wildly wrong and Link ends up protecting someone else instead 👀

Enter Shad. The guy who is single-handedly going to be the moral compass for our poor lil guy. Shad just walks around awe struck after being saved by this knight, and he then starts seeing Link being placed and thrown all over the castle in different positions.

Shad makes sure to always pass by to say hi, and Link finds it so enduring, but has no idea how to handle his emotions and ends up being our bashful boy.

Eventually they hit it off and Shad finds out about the whole "wearing a mask and sent out to kill people" thing and takes it really rough, but sticks by to get Link out of his situation. Absolute bro move 🤝

Schneider's family ; The significance of Marian

REVERSE 1999 SPOILERS AHEAD : FOR CHAPTERS 1 AND 2 ! Please tread carefully and make sure you only read about what you're willing to know.

I know we're all still completely in shambles from Chap. 2, but I wanted to make a speculation about Schneider-- and a comment about how well she's written !

Let me start with this: In many pieces of media, viewers, listeners and readers alike are told that a character has people they care for. They're told a character has a lover, a wife, kids, a family, a sister. We're told the same about Schneider: that she has 11 older siblings, and that she works in the mafia to support them.

However, it's very rarely that we're given a name and a face for these supposed loved ones. And even rarer is it that they're written well, not just as a ploy for empathy, but as their own character: Ladies, gentlemen, and esteemed guests: I present to you, Marian.

Marian is one of my favorite characters just as a stand-alone: she's realistic, she's anxious, she clings to Schneider like a lifeline-- but she's brave, too. I'd love to do an in-depth analysis on her another time, but we're here for another reason.

Marian, first of all, shows us what Schneider's family is like. How they were raised, what they believe in, who they depend on. Soft topic, I know, but as someone of Italian lineage, it's very important to me that I point this out: Marian is extremely religious.

Immigrants of every kind tend to be religious. It gives them much more faith than they ever could have: a new lifeline. They managed to make it across such a winding sea? Oh, thank the lord. They haven't been kicked out of the Americas for emigration? Thank you, holy one. There's so many more reasons for this than "they need something they don't have"- maybe the fact that the rendition of god in every religion is said to love everybody, not just those who were born into wealthy families with the bluest eyes and the blondest hair.

When in a moment with no reason, and all different kinds of desperate measures being needed.. Schneider does what her family coaxes her to. She prays.

(I can't find a screenshot, but please refer to the iconic "I didn't know you prayed" scene, and the screenshot directly below this sentence.)

I also want to point out a large difference between Schneider and her family: Schneider's perspective on a 'god' differs so, so much from her family's.

She looks to whoever may be above, in her world, scornfully-- at least, in the present day. In her past, there is a particularly impactful line I want to debunk.

"The god there ... loves the world." Schnider's family seems to believe that god was the one guiding them, the one who will forgive them-- Schneider believed that it was a whole different entity. This kid believes that the god in Sicily, whoever they may be, does not love the world-- and mio dio, if that's not fucked up, I don't know what is.

And, when Schneider comes to America and sees that shit isn't as it's cut off to be, she's resentful of whoever this god may be. She gives a pray as her last bet-- what her family wants.

And it's not that she doesn't believe in this god-- no. She just doesn't believe they love her.

"Finally forgive me" -- Finally being the key word here. She's lived all her life never being treated to mercy or being 'forgiven for her sins' -- and at her most fragile, exposed moment, she relents to what her family has taught her. To what she truly believes-- to Sicily, to Marian, her sorella. Maybe even all 11 sorelle and her parents.

And, again, they're different at face value. Marian is calm, kind. She dresses modest and has her hair grown out: she's timid, too, not befitting of a mafia boss. She's different from her younger sister.. but she's still important. She shows us another side of Schneider: and, more importantly, she shows us what-- no, who Schneider is fighting for.

Marian provides us with extremely beneficial background context of where Schneider comes from-- and, in that process, gives many of us someone to empathize with. Yes, I too know somebody at least a little like her. You do too, likely.

Maybe, you're even like Schneider-- maybe she's someone you'd aim to protect.

A lot of these are very self-indulgent I mean, very reasonable and totally make sense

Couple of facts / hcs below:

They were all created to oppose Rayman or someone else once in their life

All the RayEvil’s were built / ‘owned’ by a different Rayman villain throughout the franchise. Some overlay, yes, but mostly it’s diverse

Most of the times their creators would leave 'brands' on them to know who belongs to who

RayEvil’s aren’t entirely natural Thingamajigs. They were all artificially made for whatever their creator desired. These normally consist of a Blue Lum and whatever else they have (most commonly Dark Magic)

Now some individual facts about the characters!!

Raymesis:

Created by Mr. Dark, stolen by Ales Mansay at a young 'age'

Hates Mansay and wants to go back to being Mr. Dark's creation (Mansay claims that he created Raymesis)

Became an 'older brother' figure to Shadow after Mansay dumped the two in a room together

Super snappy, angry, and extremely petty. Thinks he's Rayman's true rival but Rayman couldn't give a shit

Created the Antis (Him, Glombrox, First King, and Selena) as a way to get back at Rayman

Shadow Ray:

Created by a Blue Lum and copious amounts of Dark Magic. This made them extremely unstable and (if they could feel it) in lots of pain

Ales Mansay's favorite creation. Thinks that they're the most 'sucessful'

Half-blind and only really cackles / giggles. Needs glasses to sorta see

Can't fully move. They need to 'mark' someone and follow their 'trail' to even go anywhere

Fascinated with art and film. Loves a good movie and is easily amused

Shadi (Bad Rayman)

Also created by Mr. Dark but left for dead in the Livid Dead after his defeat

Did not understand free will until she met Goth Teensy. He helped her find her own personality and being

Very disliked in the Livid Dead with the other Nightmares. She looked too much like Rayman for them

Can pick things up super easily by just watching

Still friends with Goth but became distant after he because the Livid Dead Door guard

RayX

Created by Razorbeard; he was left in the Glade after the Robo Pirates fled the Glade

Made to tire Rayman out and keep him occupied. Very much destined for sports and high-energy activities

Very competitive and will do anything to win. He will cheat, cry, and fight to get what he wants

Cannot handle loosing. He will throw a fit and get extremely violent

One of the only RayEvil's without a Blue Lum. He is pure machinery and alien technology

Showbiz

Mansay's first RayEvil. He created him, but he was sold to Rigatoni. Gave him a hatred for Mansay

Athletic, can breathe / control fire, and can detect his limbs. Everything Rigitoni wants in a star

He's very snobbish and under the impression he's more popular than Rayman (He also has never left the circus)

Even as a performer, still has his old programming. If he see Rayman or anything similar, he will get needlessly violent

Extremle 'one man show' and hates working with others
