Enjolras and Jean Valjean friendship is great because neither of them can (or will) give advice about interpersonal relationships, but they sure can sit on a porch staring at the sky about it together.

#they both know a LOT about what they know a lot about #and they both care for the people who they have designated theirs and important to care for #but saying the mouth words? nah #Enjolras can move peoples' hearts and souls #but his bestie is going through a rough breakup and it's been weeks ans nothing Enjolras does seems to help #Cosette is going through changes and growing up and JVJ can't be everything to her anymore and even deserves more #but JVJ isn't sure what more he can be doing #better just ... stare at the sky about it #maybe JVJ will teach Enjolras about some of the things growing in his yard #maybe Enjolras will be JVJ's primer to social reform #not just knowing the laws but CHANGING them #but at the end of the day they know they can find comfort just ... sitting together without saying anything #the first time Enjolras gets convicted and serves time he goes directly to JVJ's porch after and they sit there until it's dark #not a single word is said because there are no words #les mis #enjolras #jvj #valjean #canon jean #shitposting @ me
