Unpopular Opinion Time

While watching glass mask, I ship Maya more with Ayumi than Masumi. Their growing friendship was just one of the best parts for me and their chemistry was way off the charts and I loved them both as characters, which is rare in rivalry relationships. I never knew who to root for. As long as either Ayumi or Maya won I didn’t really care. Would I want them to be canon? I certainly wouldn’t mind, even if I do respect Maya’s relationship with Masumi. That’s my spiel. I love Mayumi. I think their mutual respect for one another is amazing and I always wanted to see more of it. Also, when Ayumi went on stage to fight Nori or whatever her name was, it was one of my favorite scenes. Along with every scene of the princess subplot. I just love the rivals to friends to lovers trope.
