Disabled Characters Showdown
Notes:
1.) Characters are listed below the cut because there’s a ridiculous amount of them.
2.) This is going to be a 128 person showdown. Because of this there are going to be a few adjustments from how we normally do our polls. First- not all characters will have character descriptions, because we have neither the time or inclination to do so. There still will be character images along with image descriptions, but that’s about it. Second- because of how many polls this is, the first round will be released in waves of 16 polls per day over the span of 4 days. The other rounds will not be impacted. Third- the first wave of polls will be dropping on the 28th.
3.) If you want to submit propaganda about any of these characters feel free to because otherwise you will get things like this: “Haven’t the faintest clue who this is, so you get no context.” You can also submit character images because most of them will be horrible due to us just pulling most of them from the fandom page.
4.) If you have any issues about any characters feel free to shoot us an ask. That being said, this poll isn’t really about who is the best representation. See more details here. If you are wondering why a character is on the list feel free to ask and we’ll tell you but we’re not gonna put on reasoning for all of the characters.
5.) We tried our best with some of the names, but also are not familiar with some of the characters on this list so if there’s any issues there please let us know.

okay so yeah... la mif is not handling Maya’s situation perfectly right now. They definitely have a tendency to be a bit surface level, and don’t fully comprehend the root of what Maya is feeling. but like... how could they? her whole thing is presenting a brave face, Bilal even said so himself.
they're also--need I remind you--teenagers in high school. Knowing how to help  a friend who is struggling mentally doesn’t come naturally, especially when up until this point they’ve done a good job of hiding it.
TLDR: do I kind want to smack bilal on the back of the head and tell him to try harder? yeah. but do I think that makes him a bad friend to maya? absolutely not

Characters in the Disabled Characters Showdown
Notes:
1.) Characters are listed below the cut, because there’s a ridiculous amount of them. Depending, some of the characters may not be in the showdown, however, if you submit one it will probably be used
2.) We are still looking to have more characters submitted and will update this page accordingly. At this point we are looking at doing a 128 person showdown because we’re extra like that. We’ll see if that actually happens but it seems probable. Characters can be submitted in the notes of this post or in an ask.
5.) Characters can be entered until June 27, with the showdown kicking off a couple of days later.
6.) We tried our best with some of the names, but also are not familiar with some of the characters on this list so if there’s any issues there please let us know.

it sort of seems like some people are missing the larger part of what jo said in that clip? if lola and maya are going to get back together, it will be with the natural progression of time (and hopefully a lot of therapy for maya), not because maya closed herself off to any potential romantic or fun experience.

Note
They will make love again towards the end of the season and it will be off for sure. Or it will be off for the love confession. Lola will burn it nonetheless
I would love to see it 💀 using hair as a visual symbol to represent maya's vulnerability was such a good choice!!

I know some people don’t like June (or at least feel inconvenienced by her presence) but I am SO glad we had that clip. I think without it I would have been left with a sour taste in my mouth in regards to Maya :(
