I was challenged a while ago to make an OPM dinosaur AU and I've sort of been brewing the different characters genus' in my brain. Current thoughts as follows (all dinosaurs of all time periods are fair game, I'm not limiting myself to one region or time period):

Genos - Allosaurus. Chosen in particular for its habit of attacking opponents much larger than itself, also a fairly large and powerful dinosaur all around.

King - Gotta be a Tyrannosaurus

Tatsumaki - torn between a Velociraptor or something even smaller for optimal ankle-biting

Fubuki - Latenivenatrix. Like a larger, elegant raptor with a fancy name ("hiding huntress"). Bonus with the raptor claw as a reminder of when she tried to cut Saitama

Garou - Yutyrannus! I was thinking like "what's a wolfy dinosaur?!" and naturally it has to be the shaggy tyrannosaur

Mumen - I don't have the faintest idea. Protoceratops?!

Where's Saitama?! Well actually he's been given me the most trouble of all. Currently leaning towards one of the hadrosaurs. They can look a bit dopey, a lot of people overlook them as bland-looking boring herbivores but really they were highly successful, powerful animals. There's plain ones and ones with different kinds of crests... Google pics of Edmontosaurus and tell me some of them don't look like derp Sai

OR alt for Saitama that just struck me - Carnotaurus! Maximum derpy-looking dinosaur (google skeleton or realistic, the Jurassic Park ones don't show how bananas they really looked). Would be funny/ironic tbh bc these guys infamously had really silly little arms, basically barely there little hands in a rotating socket - no punching here lol)

Last week was a headache but I'm back with two (three) cute animal faces~

And two terrible pun titles to boot!

The result was a great indication of coming out of the creative slump from the space gummies picture. I couldn't help make a "soft grass" type of coaster to rest the cupcake on. Cloud shapes for maximum fluffiness.

Drawing the cow was actually difficult. My brain couldn't wrap its head around it, so I actually sketched things out by hand first. Then I used that sketch to do the digital sketch before painting. The process was low-key like a game of telephone.

Didn't end up using a reference for the kitten. Partially out of laziness but also to up the derp factor!

On the less fun note, I have a wake to attend this evening for one of my uncles. And I'm scheduled for jury duty. Whether or not I have time this week for drawing is a maybe. :/

Grundy was easy to work with. All he wanted was to be respected. A gentle hand was all it took.

It had been many years since he last came here, and ultimately died once more. Everywhere Grundy died, he tended to avoid fora very long time.....

But it was the Christmas holiday and Slaughter Swamp was very lonely. He was trying to find anyone from the team he used to be, just to say hello......but he got lost.

And a lost gigantic zombie with a hairpin trigger was very, very bad news.

Still, he was very happy to see Shade. He hadn’t interacted much with the master of darkness in the past, but seeing anyone he recognized was enough to get Solomon Grundy as excited as a small child.

“ Grundy came to see old friends for Crissmiss. Slaughter Swamp is too cold now.....and angry Snowman put ice everywhere and called Grundy a....uh......hmm.....he called him a bunch of bad names.”

Happy-go-lucky Solomon Grundy had succeeded in where nobody else did......making Mr. Freeze very, very angry on the one month he was most volatile. It was probably a good idea he was very, very far away from Gotham city at the moment.

When Shade mentioned that he was scaring people, he looked sheepish.

“ Grundy not mean to scare people......he just want to see friends....“

concept: evil xisuma does not swear because if he tries, a voice clip of xisuma saying "derp!" will play instead at maximum volume. he cannot take off the helmet or else he will die and he cannot take off the modulator or change it, no matter how hard he tries. mans stuck like this for the rest of existence

I’ve read this two or three times and for some reason my brain just derps and won’t let me get what you’re saying. Sorry!! I have moments of that. It’s not you probably. 😅

I think I get what you mean, where she now is bigger when she’s at her smallest?

Wouldn’t she do that anyway? She will eventually grow up. :3 unless she’s immortal… which I’ve always wondered.
