Je suppose que c'est un peu tard pour me lancer dans une fanslation... mais en voyant quelques surprises, j'ai eu envie de proposer mes propres idées de noms pour la localisation française d'AAI. La première sera reconnaissable puisque j'ai déjà fait un post à ce propos. Ces propositions ne visent évidemment pas à être parfaites vu que j'y réfléchis tout d'un coup pour le fun de faire un post, et j'ose espérer que l'équipe de traduction officielle a réfléchi aux siens un peu plus longtemps que ça.
Je vais en faire un petit jeu......... Je vais juste lister mes idées de noms sans mettre qui est qui, et j'aimerais savoir si c'est assez clair tout seul ! Le corrigé et les explications seront sous la coupure..............
Une règle que je me retrouve à suivre est que le prénom doit vraiment exister en tant que prénom, du moins pour le premier AA c'était toujours le cas.

Y en a des plus évidents que d'autres. J'ai pris une direction spécifique avec ces noms, mais d'autres, comme celle choisie par l'équipe de traduction officielle, sont aussi bien voire mieux.
Victor Yeux = Sebastian (ce bon vieil Eustache). Voir la première fois que je l'ai mentionné. Ce nom de famille existe ! Au début, j'ai pensé que le changer pour "Hiyeux" ou "Iyeux" pourrait le faire ressembler plus à un nom qu'au mot yeux, mais ceux-là n'existent pas, alors que Yeux existe.
Content Yeux = le père du jeune homme (Blaise?). Déjà je pense que le prénom Content serait drôle pour lui. Mais en plus, le mot "contentieux" correspond de près ou de loin à ce à quoi s'adresse sa profession.
Dorothée Misse = Justine Delcourt. J'ai vraiment voulu créer un jeu de mot dans son nom, plus intense que celui de la traduction officielle, parce que sinon ça sert à rien d'essayer de faire un truc différent. J'ai eu du mal ! Les thèmes de la justice n'ont pas des noms qui font joli ou ressemblent à des prénoms... "Pomme Depin" serait allé, mais je n'ai pas trouvé beaucoup de sources liant la pomme de pin à la justice, c'est plus religieux. Ici, j'ai choisi d'utiliser des noms qui existent pour inclure le nom "Thémis".
René Gide = Raymond Shields/Freddie Lapointe. Direction complètement différente de celle prise par la traduction officielle, encore une fois exprès. Tragiquement, "André Gide" aurait aussi bien marché pour ce jeu de mot - le mot caché ici est "égide" ! Et je trouve qu'il a une tête de René, mais d'autres prénoms en -é font aussi bien l'affaire.
Richard Corbin = Tyrell Badd. Je ne sais pas comment il s'appellera dans la version officielle. Le nom de famille "Corbin" est un ancien synonyme de corbeau, Yatagarasu, jeu de mot déjà présent dans son nom Japonais et tout. Quant à l'appeler Richard, j'ai essayé d'avoir un deuxième jeu de mots un peu plus discret qui correspond à "hardcore", si on regarde bien, pour rappeler le Badou/Badd original. Pas mal celui-là, non ?
Camille Cavalier = Horace Knightley. Idem, pas encore de traduction officielle, je crois. Cavalier, super simple, nom de famille assez commun et le nom de la pièce d'échec. Camille, ça paraît un peu délicat pour lui, mais c'est un nom qui signifie "serviteur", or il parle souvent de défendre (ici on va se dire, "servir") son Roi.
Maxime Sage = Simon Keyes. Idem encore... Et celui-là, ça a été dur parce que je tiens tellement à bien faire. Je n'ai pas vraiment pu conserver l'élément "singe", mais je me suis basée sur les singes de la sagesse : c'est une maxime... à propos de sage-sse. Les deux peuvent être prénom ou nom, mais Maxime est plus souvent un prénom qu'un nom, et va mieux à sa bouille.
Du coup je viens de découvrir des exemples de noms venant apparemment d'une fanslation française sur le Wiki AA...? Je ne la connais pas. Je ne sais pas si ça vient du Wiki français. Je vois par exemple "Louie Stiti", "Carl Vallier", "Sergio Badd". On les reconnaît bien, c'est vrai ! Mais on voit direct une direction différente de la mienne. C'est ça qui rend la localisation super intéressante - ce n'est pas une science objective. (Par contre pourquoi "Louie" et pas "Louis", ça c'est un mystère.)
