is it so weird to not want minimalism or maximalism? i don't want to trim my life down to only the most important things. my home is not ablaze, i am not searching only for what would tear me asunder were i to lose it. there are some things that bring me joy that i would discard if i didn't have the space. at the same time, i do not want to fill every inch of what space i do have with pretty things. beauty in excess can lose meaning. i have only lived so long and there are some things that i must let go. i just want enough. i do not want to be wanting for what is necessary, and i do not want to lose myself to the urge to have more than i need, not just to live but to be happy.
