"I rather like 'bitter hot water'." Her head tilted, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "But the coffee truck on 5th Street is actually pretty good. Nowhere to sit though." Which suited her just fine, retreating to her truck. @maxcarson

"Thinking that's what I should have done." He looked around again and sighed. It was too busy for him to be comfortable, but he would make it work. "It really is. Fresh out and forgot to get more at the store. Rookie mistake." Max laughed and took a sip of his drink with a shrug. "Not overpriced and tastes better than bitter hot water? The bar is low."

Lucinda had gotten out of work and was off tomorrow, so she fully intended on enjoying herself--which meant pizza and wine up on the rooftop pool. She'd gone to the liquor store as she got out of work and got a bottle of wine and then picked up a pizza for herself, looking forward to heading upstairs when she got to the building's doors and realized her keys were buried in the depths of her bag. Great.

Seeing someone walking towards the doors as well a moment later, she took her chances and put a bright smile on

"Hey! I swear I live here, I just can't get to my keys. Think you can let me in? I'll totally bribe you with a slice or two."

Darcy climbed the rest of the way up the water tower and dropped her backpack off her back and knelt by it to start digging through it. "My sister and I come up here to smoke weed sometimes. We saw a UFO while we were up here last Halloween. Maybe we'll see something tonight too." Darcy wasn't going to admit that they were high when they saw said UFO, but Max didn't need to know that bit of information. "I rolled a joint earlier too."

"It's a required science credit class, last semester I did biology and society so it was so bad minus the labs but this one was supposed to be easier but the lectures are painful boring and the fact I have to watch them to get notes is even worse." Lacey grimaced at her choice before sighing, "I should've but instead I listened to my student advisor and trusted her words so now I'm stuck with the class which I'm sure I will get through it...I just have to be dramatic about it first."

"Salmon? No, I'll pass." He lifted a hand and waved it off with a grin. The thought sounded worse the more he thought about it. He couldn't imagine anyone actually wanting to drink it. He took a step further and continued to look at the different bottles. Some seemed interesting, but nothing enough for him to grab and look at closer. "Is that just for fun, or one you need? Should have checked that website to see the reviews first."

Standing from her crouched position against the counter, Tabitha went and pulled a menu from the holder and slide it towards him in a well-practised, fluid motion. "What you in the mood for?" she asks, considering giving a recommendation. It was a diner, so the food was usually the same but Gideon did make sure that it had a special flourish. It was hard to recommend just one thing. "The sandwiches are pretty good. Comes with a side of fries."

Max knew he should be saving what bit of cash he had, but the idea of going home and cooking something did not interest him. He pulled open the door to the diner and made his way inside. He glanced at the empty booths before walking up and taking a seat at the counter so he could see most of the room. "Uh got a menu? Or something you want to recommend?"

Jameson: Fair point. I know a lot of people that did not need a reason to start shit Jameson: I was in prison and I’ve seen some crazy people but they don’t even compare to those who have a sense of entitlement around the shop Jameson: why are they waking up so early?
