Not really a good idea to wander on your own in a cornfield, especially when you're just a couple of inches tall.

"What was I thinking..."

Clark walked down the cornfield, pretty sure he had gone in circles twice now.

Seriously, what was he thinking?

Why was he so stubborn on the idea that he wanted nothing to change, no matter his size and body?

Why did he refuse to listen to his parents' concern about him wandering off on his own in the cornfields? Especially without his talkie-walkie!

On the other hand, he wanted so much to prove his parents he wasn't helpless and could take care of himself.

But all that didn't matter now...

The night was slowly falling, as the Toy boy shivered, hoping to be found soon.

That was an adventure he really wasn't ready to experience again...

I know the reason why she did it wasn’t for an interview anymore and was really just so he would confess to being Superman, but I thought the idea of her doing this to finally get an interview would work as well, because she was pretty desperate for that.

8/1: Maw

Being a cleaner wrasse mer seems like it'd be a dangerous gig-

But most would rather have a good cleaning than a small fry of a snack

(Also random mersona lore: cleaner wrasse mers who collect whatever bits and bobbles they find in bigger mer's teeth to sell at the market. Parts of ships, bones, weapons, other human items.

The bigger and more dangerous the mer, the better the pay out for the cleaner wrasse most of the time.

It's considered a jerk move to eat the local cleaner so, these small mers have a surprising level of protection.)

Night lights 🌃

As the night fell, Clark carefully sat down on the edge of the skyscraper, getting some rest while waiting for the next day.

The city was loud but also bright.

Clark was so used to only see the stars shining in the sky back then at his beloved family farm.

But now he was in a place where there was so much artificial light, it practically outshined them. It was actually making his meteorite heart a little sad, something he couldn't explain, at least not with words...

It was with a mix of nostalgia and homesickness, that Clark sighed softly and inched away from the edge, preparing himself to sleep.

"Skyscrapers...more like sky-eaters..."

A/N: I was so wracking up my brain, wondering how to do a town environment while also stargazing, I just ended up saying "grump it" and threw a couple of rectangles and voila ^^;

I also couldn't help myself but drop a small narrative X'3

Also, I changed the symbol for a heart, so his heart glowing is visible most at night, when his jacket isn't closed
