With the anniversary of Jonathan's death looming over everyone, there has been an uptick in speculation about the circumstances surrounding his death. While the rumors have been there for a while, there has been a lot of speculation lately about the relationship between Essence and Maverick at the time. Many people online seem to believe that Essence had feelings for Mav at the time, and that Mav knew, which caused Jonathan to go off of the deep end and runaway.

Could it be Mav and Essence's fault?

as for the premiere class its as you said: vale's long legs finding their way into people's fairings a couple times and the biaggi mosquito incident, as well as casey stoner smacking randy de puniet in 2011 for cruising on his line and nearly causing a collision, aleix smacking franco morbidelli in fp2 in qatar 2023, and then more moto3esque heat of the moment post crash yelling stuff like jack miller getting up in uh. also franky's face after they crashed last year at jerez and maverick vinales flashing the middle finger to bez's limp rag-dolled body post high speed aero crash at philip island and as you mentioned ALSO maverick getting slappy with pecco in le mans in 2023. the blood is up the brain is not working and we see some less than flattering moments... SPORTS ! no one has tried to fight marc as far as i know (sepang nonwithstanding....), but thats all off the top of my head and there's definitely more, so anybody feel free to chime in !

So here it is, Riders competing in the Summer Olympics

Maverick Viñales and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu both as Artistic Gymnastics. I think they will do all around events, but Mack will be a floor especialista and Toprak floor and parallel bars.

Franco Mobideli in skating. Do I need to explain myself? I also think Mig could be okay in this event. Oh and Nicolò Bulega is in there too.

Aleix Espargaró in Road cycling or Mountain bike because I'm not sure what's the difference between them.

Raúl Fernández with some martial arts, maybe Judo.

I can't explain it, but Álvaro Bautista is competing in boxing and he's a menace in it.

Taka is competing in some equestrian event with Michael Ruben Rinaldi. I haven't seen them much so I'm going with vibes and I'm saying dressing, but I could be wrong.

Danilo is in weightlifting without a doubt.

I feel like Tito and Michael van de Mark will be okay in the Sport climbing and for some reason I can see Tito being more sucessful in the speed one while Van der Mark being better in the combined

Fabio Quartararo, Álex Márquez and Garret Gerloffwill be in athletics. Fabio is marathon, Álex pole vault and Garrett throws hammer or shot.

For Iker Lecuona, I can seem him success in Triathlon.

Going for the aquatic sports, Axel is competing in canoeing in the Slalom modality. I can feel it in my bones. That or double sculls

Luca Marini in sailing, but hear me out. He'll do Single-handed Dinghy, unless Mig is with him, then Double-handed Dingly. Is that or archery.

Álex Rins swimming I'll say 100 or 200m free style or butterfly. Maybe even in 4x100 relay or meddle relay.

Star Wars: The Living Force by John Jackson Miller

I was incredibly wary about this book when it was first announced and remained wary of it to the point I broke my own policy of not posting a WIP so I could say, “No, that’s irrelevant to my fic as I began posting before it was published.” I was wary partly because of the blurb and partly because I didn’t (and don’t) trust the author about the Jedi. That was based solely on how he described the Order in A New Dawn, which is not exactly one of my favorite Star Wars books for several reasons. But someone whose taste I trust (aka @gffa) did enjoy The Living Force, so I checked it out of the library.

Overall: I enjoyed it. It was a fun romp and a solid Star Wars book. That said, the cast was really too large to dive in-depth into pretty much anyone’s characters except the girl Depa was trying to save. The girl was probably the most well-rounded of everyone, including the Jedi. The villain was very much a one-note. And part of my problem may have been that ultimately the book felt like it couldn’t do anything. There was no sense of danger or urgency; of course everyone would survive and the bad guys fail. It felt like it should have been character-driven and yet it wasn’t. It is also very clearly a “TPM came out 25 years ago, so we have to mark that somehow” book.

Things I disliked:

1) the author could do with a dive into what Lucas says about the Order and what attachments mean. This guy seems to think they mean connections with other people when that is manifestly not what they mean; the High Republic books state this over and over and over again, so it’s not an “expanded universe doesn’t understand” thing. It’s very much an author thing.

2) Sifo-Dyas… just didn’t make much sense being brought up as a Problem. That came out of nowhere. So did the disloyalty of the caretaker.

3) Qui-Gon is very much in the line of fanon maverick instead of the movie’s stubborn, rude, and often arrogant but still somehow kind and wise man. He’s not the character I fell in love with, in other words.

4) I’m well and truly puzzled why Depa didn’t use telekinesis to pull the comlink to her and turning it off in the climax of the book. We know she can use telekinesis. We know Jedi can do that in general; it's all over the place. So why didn’t she? She spent a lot of the book strangely de-powered.

Things I liked: There were some very good moments here. I liked the look at the worldbuilding and buereocracy. I like Jedi being Jedi and by each of them somehow getting involved in separate things that the threads came together at the end. (Of course they did. That was obvious pretty early on.) The book was more-or-less: ten Jedi help solve one world’s problems because they each somehow managed to connect with a different person in need of help in a way that will solve the plot’s problems later. Which is fine; sometimes I really do want predicatable. As I said, it’s not a bad book but I’m not sure if me being a writer helped me see the seams more clearly. I did expect the outpost to close regardless (which would have made the entire book feel futile) and it did but not quite in the way I thought and it’s a way that worked.

I am glad Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were cameos instead of taking over. And there was room for a lot of nuance into the Order, top-down versus bottom-up view of how to best help.

Yaddle’s reversal of the “fear leads to hate” into “Courage leads to peace. Peace leads to love. Love leads to healing.” It’s a part of a longer quote. And those two paragraphs are the best part of the book.

Depa Billaba (You all know me. Of course she’d get her own section!)

When she was off doing her own undercover mission with the pirates, I thought that was cool and that Miller understood her character. And I’m folding it into what I take as canon; it matches well with the rest of her non-show appearances in Disney canon. I didn’t like a lot of the follow-through. (This ties into some of the reasons I dislike A New Dawn; I don’t think he writes women well.) I’m perfectly fine with her being captured. But after that, it felt like Miller didn’t know what to do with her. And her uncertainties and not taking a Padawan earlier because she was seemingly afraid to* and her talk with Mace about attachments (a conversation that makes absolutely zero sense given they are both on the High Council)… just don’t work. It felt like a faint retelling of much of her character arc in the Kanan comics. She also didn’t have the sense of humor she did there. Ultimately, I’m unsatisfied. Her plotline started off as something important and then fizzled by the end.

*Until that was brought up as why Depa was so driven to investigate the pirates in the region, I’d assumed it was because she was orphaned by said pirates. It would have made more sense.

On the other hand, some of the things I was worried about didn’t occur. We got nothing about her sister Sar Labooda (who may as well not exist apart from that mention in an encyclopedia and her appearance and death in the arena on Geonosis in AotC). We got nothing about Depa’s apprenticeship with Mace. We know pretty much nothing else about Chalacta apart from a mantra and that the Republic doesn’t seem to much care about its region of space. So all of that is more or less free space.

(Though her timeline is still more than a bit fuzzy and messed up. I maintain that she should not have been on the Council in the Master and Apprentice novel; she should have been the one brought on when Qui-Gon refused the seat. I even checked out Star Wars Timelines to see if that book shed any light on the matter; it doesn’t as the only time she’s mentioned is her death, which was very neatly worded to apply to either the Kanan comics or the Bad Batch show.)

All in all, I’m glad I read the book ,and I did enjoy it, but I don’t plan to buy it until it’s out in paperback.

Who's the Baby Daddy?

So it's been a solid week since Natasha Reynolds announce the new not Barlowe baby, and we're all still wondering: who's the baby daddy?

Here's a list of the guys Wicked Harlot believes might be father to be.

1. Daxton Myers This is probably our top contender, he was seen with Tasha at a Beacon's party and the time frame just seems to line up. There's no confirmation that anything happened beyond flirting, but it is Dax so would we be surprised? Not really.

2. Maverick De Luca We know this fuck boy likes to get around, and there's a lot of rumor that him and Selena were in a big fight at the beacons. Given the timing, and Mav's not known for keeping it in his pants when there's a fight. This one seems almost as likely as Dax.

3. Parker Alexander During the beacons there was a pretty big fight going on between Bonnie and Fletcher, which means Parker was probably living his best life. This would just be even more hilarious with the possible Fletcher and Bonnie baby also on the way. Really, we just wouldn't be surprised.

4. Griffin Cooper We're really just having it with the fuck boys. We know Natasha and Griffin were supposedly seen out together before the beacons, so maybe they hit it off for a night? We aren't holding our breath for him to be a great father either though.

5. Salem Kohli Who's to say these two didn't get together after their time on Starcrossed together? It's easy to want to catch up, and you know what? We're hopeful for this one. We want this for you, girl. Get it. This is some wishful thinking but we feel he would be a great father. Probably the only good option at this point.

hey! i’m talia (25, pst) and i’m slowly getting myself back into writing following the break that life forced me to take. i’ve mostly roleplayed in groups but in wanting less restrictions and the hope to be able to write more varying stories i’ve decided to jump back into 1x1 and indie rp. i do write on discord but i honestly prefer tumblr. i’m a creature of habit, what can i say?

writing style: i do use legacy editor and prefer it. however, i am all good with using beta editor should you need to as i understand that not everyone has access to legacy editor. my writing range tends to go from a small paragraph to multiple and i do love the utilization of gifs. i would prefer replies not be excessively formatted and if possible please use small/medium gifs — accessibility!

plotting style: i love to set up a plot and release the muses lol. it’s much more fun to just let the muses figure things out and see where the writing takes us and how things develop and progress naturally. that said, i love tossing around headcanons and setting up backstories and all that good stuff. i prefer not to overly plot. i think random starters and tossing whomever you’re musing in is great fun! its great to see what we can come up with!

A Ford após uma participação em 2024 com vários problemas para obter informações em parceria com a M-Sport e a Sul-Africana NWM Motorsport com o modelo Ranger Raptor T1+ como principal desenvolvidor o campeão do Dakar de 2014, Nani Roma

 Agora com o modelo Raptor T1+ , pilotado pelo atual campeão do Dakar nos carros, Carlos Sainz Pai , Mitchell Guthrie 2ª posição nos UTVs Challenger e vencedor na categoria no Fia W2RC , e o Matias Ekstrom , campeão do DTM 2X e campeão do mundial de rallycross. Alèm disso terá a nova Ranger T1+ preparada pela Past Racing , com o Espanhol Daniel Alonso, e a Raptor RS T1+ do Martin Prokop.

A marca da Renault da Romenia , a Renault que participou com uma equipe Argentina com o modelo Duster  entre 2014-2018, estará de volta ao Dakar Rally em 2025 em parceria com a Prodrive com carro chamado de “Sandrider T1+” , a  equipe esteve competindo nos últimos anos com um buggy próprio , chamado “Hunter” terminando em em 2ª posição em 2022 e 2023 , com Sebastien Loeb que será um dos pilotos , junto com Nasser All Attyah , 5x campeão do Dakar Rally e a Cristina Guttierrez , campeã do Dakar rally 2024 nos UTVs Challenger e em 2022 campeã da Extreme E , que volta a correr nos carros que ela competiu no Dakar até 2020.

O carro da Dacia, tem muita coisa com base no Prodrive Hunter T1+ , menos o motor que era um Ford V6 Turbo , por um motor Nissan V8 derivado do modelo Z.

A  Toyota estará de volta com a equipe de fabrica Gazzo Racing, com Lucas Moraes como um dos pilotos e  entradas privadas com o apoio da Over Drive Racing, sendo uma delas a dupla de ex-pilotos de moto campeões por Toby Price e Sam Sunderland.

A Mini agora com uma dupla de pilotos nova formada pelo Guilame de Mevius que terminou em 2º lugar na edição de 2024 com Toyota privado preparado pela Over Drive , e Guerlain Chicheret que correu com Toyota Privado com o modelo Mini Cooper 2.0 T1+ que terá atualizações , e o Portugues João Ferreira que na edição de 2023 correu nos UTVs Challenger  com Yamaha YXZ 1000 R preparado pela X-Raid.

A preparadora de Buggy Sul-Africana   estará com equipe de fabrica com Laia Sanz , Mathiue Serradori com o modelo CR7 T1+ ,Brian Baragwanath, com carros de entradas privadas terá os Irmãos Coronel com e o Brasileiro  Marcelo Gastaldi , que terminou a última edição do rally Dos Sertões nos carros em segundo,  que na edição do Dakar de 2024 competiu nos UTVs Challenger , que teve uma vitória de etapa.

Uma das novidades será a Amarock T1+ preparada pela PS Laser Racing na Africa do Sul .

O buggy feito na Africa do Sul pela Red Lined Motorsport chamado de Revo T1+, com motor Nissan V8 derivado do GT-R , que estreou em 2024 terminando na 25ª posição com a Arabe Allyyah Koloc .

A Can-am estará com o novo Maverick R com a equipe de fabrica e com clientes pelo menos na categoria SSV.

O UTV com motor hibrido derivado  Peugeot, que ganhou a  ultima edição do Africa Eco Race na geral , fará sua estreia no Dakar em 2025.

Chi è Saintpaul DJ? 

Saintpaul DJ è un professionista del mixer dalla carriera ormai consolidata, sia come DJ, sia come produttore.
