I'm somewhat disappointed Nicholas is wearing fitted clothes. I want those pregnant Henry memes to continue.

Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.
Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.
Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.
Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.
Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).
Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.
Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Quigley Down Under is directed by Simon Wincer and written by John Hill. It stars Tom Selleck, Laura San Giacomo and Alan Rickman. Music is by Basil Poledouris and cinematography by David Eggby. Plot sees Selleck as Matthew Quigley, a Wyoming cowboy and sharp shooting rifleman who answers an advertisement to go to Western Australia as a hired sharp shooter. If proving his worth, he’s to work for Elliot Marston (Rickman), but when Marston outlines his sick reasons for hiring Quigley, the pair quickly become on a collision course that can only see one of them survive. It was written in the 1970s by John Hill, where it was hoped that Steve McQueen would take on the lead role, but with McQueen falling ill and Clint Eastwood allegedly passed over, the project sat on ice until 1990. In came Selleck and the film finally got made. Just about making back its money at the box office, Wincer’s movie deserved far better than that. It’s competition in the Western stakes in 1990 were Costner’s beautiful and elegiac Dances With Wolves and the Brat Pack bravado of Young Guns II, both vastly different films from each other, and both considerably different from Quigley Down Under. If those two films contributed to the average response to the Selleck picture? I’m not completely sure, but viewing it now one tends to think that the 1990 audience just wasn’t ready for such a delightfully old fashioned Oater, one that features a straight and simple narrative to tell its tale. It’s safe to say that anyone after deep psychological aspects will not get that here. There’s some serious themes in the story, such as the horrid genocide towards Aborigines, while the deft kicks at the British are fair enough even to a British guy such as myself. But in the main this is old time Western fare, ...

THE MONSTER BALL TOUR FASHION CREDITS: VISUALS
Today we’re starting off with the fashion credits for the Monster Ball tour with some eye candy - the visuals! Lady Gaga commissioned Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben to create all the backdrops and interludes for her second world tour while Keiron O’Connor did the promotional shoot.
All visuals were shot in November 2009 at SHOWStudio in London under fashion direction of Nicola Formichetti.
Tumblr media
In the first visual, she’s wearing her custom Haus of Gaga x Nasir Mazhar silver metal orbit bodice, which rotates around her body.
Tumblr media
She also wore her own vintage Versace Z76 tortoiseshell shield sunglasses with golden metal accents.
Tumblr media
Gaga’s patent black pointed-toe pumps with silver metal accents are Dolce & Gabbana (pictured in crocodile optic).
Tumblr media
In the second shot, Gaga dons the Love black lace bra by Agent Provocateur.
The white glamorous faux fur marvel is from Benjamin Cho’s Spring/Summer 2005 runway for which he joined forces with The Humane Society of the United States – the nation’s largest animal protection organization - and Glenoit Fabrics to present an innovative and daring collection, incorporating faux fur as an essential to the socially conscious wardrobe.
The Humane Society of The United States was “very excited to have this opportunity to work with Benjamin Cho and Glenoit Fabrics to spread the message that consumers can make a compassionate difference for animals by choosing faux fur”.
Tumblr media
Nicola made sure that everyone looked good. Two of the female models are wearing designs with intricate embroidery and embellishment from QASIMI’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Tumblr media
Let’s get to the interludes! First up, the “Jumping” film. Let me introduce to you: young Serbian designer Marko Mitanovski.
Marko created Gaga’s black mixed media pleated and ruffled top with silk ribbons that she flipped to the side and wore as a jacket.
Everything you’ll see from Marko in this breakdown belongs to his Spring/Summer 2010 “Lady Macbeth” collection.
Tumblr media
These insane Piccadilly Axe patent leather ankle boots with crystal-embellished axe and clear PVC layer were created by Rupert Sanderson for Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
Tumblr media
For the infamous “Puke” film, Marko created this white mixed media pleated lace-up skirt with voluminous mermaid-style bottom which Nicola styled into a strapless dress.
Tumblr media
Mother Monster treated the fans with two different looks in her “Paws Up” interlude.
The first one consisted out of this Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010 “Plato’s Atlantis” collection olive & bronze bomber jacket-inspired nylon jumpsuit with zipper details, brown snakeskin leather belt, cabochon & paillette-embellished neck brace...
Tumblr media
...custom black leather officer cap by “The King of Leather”, New York-based David Samuel Menkes...
Tumblr media
...and Titanic bronze metal platform ankle boots with screws, also from the same Alexander McQueen’s collection.
Tumblr media
In the next cut, Gaga kept on the neck brace from the previous Alexander McQueen look, paired with a latex outfit by Atsuko Kudo which includes the 50′s cup bra and the boned under-bust corset with hosiery straps.
The blonde hair antler headpiece was made by Nina Butkovich-Budden for Marko Mitanovski’s collection.
Tumblr media
Of course she sported a pair of green snakeskin leather Armadillo ankle boots from Alexander McQueen’s aforementioned collection.
Tumblr media
Gaga released the “Bloody Space” film (accompanied by her cover of “White Christmas”) a year later as a Christmas gift to her fans.
Here she wears the final look from Alexander McQueen’s “Plato’s Atlantis” collection (which we’ve seen her rock in the “Bad Romance” video already) and the orbit headpiece from Nasir Mazhar’s debut Spring/Summer 2009 collection, made in collaboration with jeweller and designer Matthew Mackeson.
Tumblr media
Her “Edward Scissorhands” backdrop was used for a Regza phone commercial in 2011.
This look is a mishmash of various items. Firstly, Gaga wore a blue printed chiffon dress by Alexander McQueen which she paired with a silver metal funnel skirt and matching neck-piece are from emerging designer Gemma Slack’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Her lip-shaped black hair headpiece is from Charlie Le Mindu’s Spring/Summer 2010 “Girls of Paradise” collection.
Tumblr media
She’s also rocking the Alpina Goldwing shield sunglasses she got at Jack’s Eyewear store in LA.
Tumblr media
The claw-inspired black patent leather gloves with buckle closure are another piece of art signed by Marko Mitanovski, made in collaboration with C&G Classy Gloves.
Tumblr media
The look was completed with blue stingray leather Armadillo boots by Alexander McQueen.
Tumblr media
“Plato’s Atlantis”, galor! The Italian-American beauty donned another full look from the collection! This time: the top version of the above pictured printed silk dress, and pearlescent nude leather Armadillo boots for the “Money Honey” backdrop. But there was another cool item...
Tumblr media
The brocade-embossed metallic gold leather and cotton circle bag, she poses with, belongs to ThreeASFOUR and dates back to 2004!
Tumblr media
In the “Teeth” interlude, our girl went for a vintage Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 1999 lacquered lace midi dress with long sleeves!
Tumblr media
For the “Tattoo” film, where we can watch Gaga getting her “Dad” tattoo, she’s wearing nothing but an ecto-skeleton head- and arm-piece custom-made by Gary Card.
Tumblr media
Mother Monster wore a bunch of different looks in her “Manifesto of Little Monsters” interlude.
The first one is this black silk satin lace-up bolero jacket with lattice bust and ruffled neck & cuffs by Marko Mitanovski.
Her animal print mask is signed by NOKI who...
Tumblr media
... also custom-made the Mickey Mouse motif mask embellished with safety pins.
Tumblr media
Next, Gaga sports nothing but a Patrick Ian Hartley clear PVC cut-out face corset mask.
The mask is shaped to fit under the nose and around the wearer's cheeks with an oval opening of the mouth. Four lacing holes at each side.
Tumblr media
Words can’t describe how much I actually love this look.
Gaga rocked a black human hair coat by Charlie Le Mindu paired with one of the spiked zip-mouth rubber masks from Jaiden rVa James’ Spring/Summer 2010 “Youth by Youth” collection.
Tumblr media
For the penultimate look, she donned a gimp mask which was paired with a studded white chiffon vest with draping as seen on Pam Hogg’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection presented during London Fashion Week.
Tumblr media
Let’s finish this breakdown with one last Alexander McQueen “Plato’s Atlantis” look.
Gaga sits in a blue printed iridescent Jakob Schlaepfer fabric one-shoulder top, paired with her favorite Alpina Goldwing shades we saw above.

My Favorite Films and Performances of 2020
“I wish I could’ve seen it on the big screen.”
It was a strange year, and even stranger year of movie watching. In 2020 I saw only one of my top films in a theater, which is crazy (like much else over these past months). But the experience of keeping up with the movies this year was a reminder that great filmmaking can transcend the specifics of the viewing experience. In your living room, in bed, projected onto the side of a garage, streaming on Twitch, broken up into multiple sittings, maybe even on your phone (desperate times)… if doesn’t matter as long as it connects with you. A great film has the power to soothe and transport, to alter your perspective, to re-wire your brain. So while I didn’t get on a single airplane last year, I definitely went places. And I’m grateful for these changes of scenery. For the time-travel as well; last year in my house, we found great comfort in revisiting a bunch of old favorites. It was also an opportunity to finally watch a number of those older films that had someone evaded us… a year of catching up, now or never. We were members of a weekly movie club for some months — that was cool. Another pleasant silver lining was the emergence of virtual film festivals, which have been a fantastic opportunity. I hope that they can continue in some form when this pandemic is in the rearview. Because, you know, getting to Park City is a real schlep. All this to say: like you, I’ll always remember 2020. In this truly crummy year, the movies really helped.
I’m including some of the film festival stuff that’s coming out a little later, because the boundaries between 2020 films and 2021 films feels blurry to me without proper theatrical releases.
