Hi guys,
Hope you're all having a lovely week, before we get into today's blog post I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who reads, follows and likes the posts on my blog. I really appreciate it and love writing this posts for you. If you prefer tutorials than written posts I also post tutorials on TikTok, my username is @chanell_q93 . Now back to today's blog post.
I feel like over the past 2 years liquid blush has been one of the most viral makeup products everyone seems to use in their daily routines. Personally I used to only wear powder formulas but once I tried Rare Beauty's blushes I was more open to try more formulas. Luckily for me Charlotte Tilbury bought out a whole range of blushes called Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wands, £30.00.
The wands came in 4 shades and straight away I was obsessed with the matte formulas. When I tried out the shades there were colours that I would typically gravitate towards and loved however there was one curve ball shade that really surprised me. When I first saw Peach Pop I assumed it was going to be too orange for me wear and wouldn't suit me at all however once I put it on I realised it was more of a coral pink tone and become obsessed with it.
Out of all the shades this is by far my most used and so much so that I had to get a replacement blush already. The formula is great because they are matte liquid blushes so they last longer on your face compared to a glowy formula and they blend like a dream. Sometimes I even mix this shade with other shades to create my perfect pink summer shade.
So if you're a fan of Charlotte Tilbury and liquid makeup products I really recommend you trying out these products yourself. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Collective Haul #1 March 2023
Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Today I had a pretty darn good spoonie day… not too much pain and fairly good energy levels. I hadn’t touched up my roots in so long that I decided to skip makeup today and take care of the hair. First I bleached my full head (I wanted to start with a blank canvas this time around, instead of just dyeing the roots) and then I custom mixed…

A short fic about Sanji and Reiju and gender.
-
It was not unusual for Reiju to find one of her brothers in her quarters. Even now, they had a lack of boundaries and a fondness for juvenile pranks. But none of it bothered her, really, and letting them get it out of their system got them out of her hair faster. So she didn't change her footsteps as she became aware of the presence in her bedroom, letting her heels clack on the floor and opening the outer door slowly enough that the hinges creaked.
She had not at all been expecting to see this particular brother.
“Sanji,” Reiju said, surprised. He was sitting at her makeup table, a handful of products in front of him, and when he saw her he shoved them aside and covered his face, though Reiju had already caught a glimpse of it in the mirror. “Are you… What are you doing?”
There was a pause, just a moment too long, and Sanji lowered his hands.
He was smiling, though it looked pained. “I thought it would be funny,” he said. There was lipstick on his teeth. “To- to see how bad I would look in your makeup. And I was right! It's hilarious, isn't it?”
His laugh came out like a sob.
“Who… who would ever think a man could wear this stuff? It's just ridiculous, isn't it? I- I should show the others. How funny it is.”
Bright blue eyeshadow was smeared across his eyelids, bubblegum pink lipstick on his mouth, and coral blush mismatched on his cheeks. Blotchy glitter highlights completed the look, such as it was.
Silence filled the room for several long seconds.
“Mm,” Reiju said, thoughtfully. “Yeah, makeup is pretty hard if no one ever sat down and taught you.”
She pulled over the poofy footstool at the end of her bed and opened a drawer, taking out a packet of wipes and a few little bottles.
“Let's clean all that off first, and start from scratch.”
“I just. It's just a joke.”
“I know,” Reiju said. She pulled out a wipe and took hold of his chin. “Close your eyes.”
Sanji obeyed, sitting there obediently as his sister cleaned his face. They both ignored the way his breath hitched with held-back tears.
“Okay,” Reiju said. “We'll start by prepping your skin. You're a smoker, and a chef, so you really cannot moisturize too much.”
“Men don't need to do that stuff,” Sanji muttered, words slightly slurred by her vice grip on his face.
“More men should,” Reiju said firmly. “They’ll age much more gracefully, and no one likes kissing chapped lips.”
“That… that's true…”
“Yes it is,” Reiju said.
She finished rubbing moisturizer on him, and moved on to eyes. “I like to do eyes before foundation, in case the eyeshadow drops on your cheeks. Today let's just go simple, is your heart set on the blue or do you want neutrals?”
“I- I don't care.”
“I'll use a cool-colored shimmer on top,” Reiju decided. “Eyeliner is optional for daytime looks, what do you think?”
“I don't care, this is… You decide.”
“Yes, then.”
After the eyes were done she moved on to primer and a sheer foundation, explaining each step, making sure Sanji learned every tip and trick - from pumping the wand to opening your mouth to make it easier not to blink. Sanji stopped protesting at some point, just sitting there and letting her use him as a dummy.
“There’s an advanced lesson on contouring if you ever want to learn that, but I think this is enough new information for one day.” She considered her work so far. “It's a good thing you and I have the same coloring. I'll let you know what products I use, but don't be afraid to experiment with new ones. And like I said, moisturize.”
“Okay,” Sanji said quietly.
“I'd do your lips but you're probably going to need a smoke soon, right?” She'd noticed his fingers shaking and gave him an easy excuse for it.
“I can wait a little longer,” Sanji said, surprising her. “Since. I'm already here, and you're already teaching me, so…”
Reiju smiled. “I like bold colors but you seem like more of a classical beauty type. Definitely go with a long-lasting one, maybe matte, but with the shimmer I think we want a gloss.” She grabbed his chin again, ignoring the bristles. “Open your mouth.”
When she was done, Reiju gave Sanji a quick powder, then surveyed the finished look. She sat back, and nodded to the mirror, indicating he should look for himself.
The fear in his eyes was almost painful to watch. This was her little sibling, the closest to her out of the pack of them, the one she'd already failed to protect once. If she hadn't pulled this off it might only hurt him worse.
Sanji swallowed and turned in the chair, facing the mirror.
His lips parted, slightly, and his inhale of breath wasn't quite a gasp.
“I… look…”
“Told you,” Reiju said, nodding. “Classical beauty.”
He swallowed again. “It's. It's not funny this time.”
“Of course it's not, you look great. Nothing comical about being a knockout.”
Sanji stared at his reflection for a long time, occasionally turning his head side-to-side to see the other angles.
“Do you want to stay here for a bit?” Reiju asked.
Sanji nodded, silently.
“Okay. I'm going to change in the next room, and then I'm going out.”
He nodded again. “If… I need to take this off before I go?”
Reiju got the wipes out again, and quickly explained how to use cold cream.
“Got all that?” Reiju asked.
Sanji nodded.
“Are you… good?”
“I'm okay,” Sanji said. He gave her a smile, awkward but more genuine than any she'd seen from him in a long time. “Thank you.” Softly he added, “For everything.”
“Any time,” Reiju said.
She hoped he knew she meant it.

Eyes are one of the most beautiful things to ever exist on Earth. They have been compared with precious gems, the moon, stars, the ocean, and flowers, and it is our duty to ensure our eyes always remain at the peak of their beauty.
Eye makeup is one of the best ways to ensure your eyes stand out. The evolution in the makeup sector has made eye makeup products more pigmented and long-lasting, which ensures your eyes remain beautiful and enchanting throughout the day. But which are some of the eye makeup products that are a must-have?
In this blog, we will talk about 4 eye-makeup products that you can buy as a beginner makeup enthusiast or just someone who wants beautiful eyes.
1. Eyeliner
Eyeliner is a staple in every makeup bag, and for excellent reason. A good eyeliner:
Defines your eyes
Makes them pop
It enhances the drama of your appearance.
Kajal eyeliners can be further divided into liquid eyeliners and pencil eyeliners, which you can use according to your preferences. Choose eyeliners that glide on smoothly, allowing you to create precise lines or bold, dramatic wings. Has smooth glide
Is available in a variety of shades
Is smudge- and water-proof.
One of the reasons for Kajal's popularity is the belief that it protects against evil energy. Whether it's beliefs or beauty, a waterproof kajal is a must-have in your makeup bag.

Just Smoky Kajal - Rs. 675
Ultimate Stunner Kajal - Rs. 675

CHAPTER 7
Pairing: Christopher Bahng x Aubrey Williams (OC)
Warnings: fluff
This is purely fiction! MDNI
"My bookshop?" I asked, blinking. "But why?"
Han flips through some pages in front of him and lifts his head, looking up at me. "Is your bookstore under your name?"
"Yes. When my parents gave it to me, I signed all the paperwork," I reply. "I even have all the copies."
"Good."
I nervously look at Chris before he speaks. "But can he still come after it, despite her having all the paperwork?"
"No, but it's possible they'll find something to hold it against her. I'm going to need to see everything before I can proceed further."
"I'll have it e-mailed to you by tonight," Chris replies.
"Okay, great. I'll see you two soon then." Han takes his briefcase and walks out, shutting the door behind him.
I, on the other hand, with suddenly no energy lay down on the couch that's sitting in the middle of the office. I closed my eyes in the hopes of the stress going away. Gentle hands lift my head up and place it on something soft. Opening my eyes, I'm met with brown ones as he smiles down at me. "Comfy?"
"Much," I snuggle more towards his tummy, inhaling that delicious vanilla scent. "You look very handsome in this suit, by the way."
"Do I, now?"
I laugh softly, pinching his thigh and he hisses in return. "Has anyone told you how adorable you are?"
His cheeks turn pink as his ears turn the shade of cherries. "Aish." Giggling, I sit up and pinch his cheeks. He glares at me before speaking. "Does 7pm sound good?"
"For?"
"Dinner."
------------------------------------------------------------
I was curling the last bit of my hair when I heard him walk up the stairs. "Aubrey?" He calls out.
"I'm in here!" I yelled back. His footsteps become closer and closer as I twist my hair around the curling wand. I had already done my makeup, very subtle and fresh. As for my outfit, I chose a black warm dress that went up to my mid thighs, knee high black boots and a long beige colored coat, which I had spread out on the bed to wear later. I was on the last 2 strands of hair to curl when I felt him come behind me, resting his chin on my shoulder as his arms snake around my abdomen. "Hi," I greet, looking at him through the mirror.
He places a couple of kisses on my neck before taking a big sniff behind my ear. "Mm, you smell so good."
"Can I please finish getting ready?" I ask, giggling. He shakes his head as his arms tighten around me. "Please?" I pout.
He blinks at the pout before his cheeks and ears turn the shade of pink. "Fine." He releases his arms and turns around but I do a quick turn, grabbing his arm turning him around. Grinning, I go on my toes and peck him on the lips, him blinking at me.
"I'll be out in 5," I smile as I lightly push him out of the bathroom.
Quickly and swiftly, I finish my hair and touch up my makeup before I head out of the room with my coat and handbag in my hands. "Chris? Are you ready?" I turn in the kitchen and stop dead in my tracks. Holy fuck, how can he make everything look good on him?
The black pants making him look tall, the black shirt folded on both arms and a matte black tie and his hair styled in a way making his facial features stand out. He's sipping on water when he glances at me. "Ready?" He asks as he looks on his wrist watch. "Reservation's at 7:30 so we're good on time."
I was in a trance. I was in awe. How can a man wear one color and make it look so good? He picks up something from the kitchen counter and hands it to me. "Got these for you. Happy birthday, baby." It's a black rectangular box. Opening it, I let out a small gasp. Before me is the most beautiful pearl necklace and earrings set I have ever seen.
"Chris, you shouldn't have."
"I wanted to," he replies as he takes the necklace and puts it around my neck. I put on the earrings and turn around so he could tell me if it looks good. "Beautiful."
I blush. "Thank you."
------------------------------------------------------------
The restaurant we went to had very chill and laid back vibes. We ate steak and had wine. It was probably one of the best birthday meals I've ever had. Plus, Chris couldn't take his hands off me, sliding his big hands up and down on my exposed thighs. I didn't mind it though. I was beginning to love his hands on me, drawing infinite circles as we talked about the most absolute nonsense things.
By the time we were outside and walking aimlessly until I spotted a gelato place. I got my two favorite flavour: strawberry while he got chocolate. With our ice cream cone in our hands, we walk side by side and admire the chilly night. I look down at my hand when I feel his grabbing mine before shoving them in his coat pocket. The butterflies erupting in my stomach and the blush that's creeping towards my cheek makes me forget the ice cream in my hand. "Ah, babe. Your ice cream!"
I squeak when my eyes catch the melting ice cream in my hand. "Shit," I start licking my fingers and hear a snicker coming from the side. I whip my head at him and cock an eyebrow. "You think this is funny, Mr. Bahng?"
"Why, yes, Ms. Williams. I find you very adorable."
"I'm anything but adorable," I huff in protest.
He laughs. And the squeak in his laughter is the cutest thing I've ever heard. It's like music, the vibration of it I could feel in my hand. Smiling, I reach up and kiss his cheek, making him stop to look at me. And everything stops. Everything except us two, looking at each other. The sounds of people's chatter and cars driving my drown out and the only sound I can hear is my heart beating against my chest, fast. He takes a step closer, not breaking eye contact as he leans down and places his lips on mine.
The next thing I know is we're kissing, teeth clashing as he opens the main door and we stumble inside, shoes thrown on the floor as he picks me up and I squeal as runs to the room upstairs. "Chris! Let me down!"
"Nope," he replies but he put me down. But I loose my footing and fall down on the floor, laughing as he immediately kneels down. "Yah, gwenchana?" (Are you okay?)
I nod my head, not knowing he asked me in korean. But the giggles won't stop. "Wait, I just asked you in korean and you nodded your head." I glance up, his expression confused. "Do you know korean?"
I purse my lips. "Maybe." I had taken korean lessons 2 years ago and could hold a conversation in it.
He crawls up, hovering over me. "Why didn't you tell me?"
I reach my hand towards his soft hair, playing with it. "You never asked."
"Yah."
"Wae?"
He grins before leaning down to claim my lips. I immediately wrap my arms around his neck and legs around his waist. His hand travel down to pull up my dress and slide his cold hands up my abdomen, making me moan in the process. Our mouths slowed down, treasuring this moment like our life depended on it. I don't know what it was about him that made me pull towards him. But Troy never made me feel this way like Chris does. I wanted more.
His hand stilled at my rib cage as he continued kissing my lips. I wanted his hand on me, in me, everywhere where he hadn't touched before. I could also feel him hardening against my tummy. So I grind my hips, sending a message to hurry up. But he gently pushes me back and I whine in protest. "Why'd you stop?" I breathe out.
He glances at me, and just sits there as if he was contemplating whether he should proceed. He groans before he spoke. "I don't want to hurt you."
I cock an eyebrow at him. "Chris, wha-"
"Let me finish."
I nod, sitting up straight. I place a hand on his arm, letting him know to continue. "I realize that I came to you for business purposes but after seeing you, all these feelings I had came back, crashing down."
He had feelings? For me? Since when, it's what I want to ask but I let him finish talking. "You probably don't know this but I had this huge crush on you in high school, despite being younger by 2 years." He giggles, ruffles his hair as his ears turns the color of cherries. "I was going to tell you, confess to you before you left. But you left without saying anything."
My heart suddenly pains as I listen to him. "So I worked on myself and got an education. Worked my ass before Felix and I opened the corporation. But," he lifts his head, gazing into my eyes. "I never stopped looking for you. It was about 2 years ago, when Felix really drilled into my brain that I should stop looking for you. So I did until I heard about a certain bookstore being the talk of the town," he said, his soft smile making my heart flutter.
I give him a small, tender smile. "Why didn't you say anything?"
"How could I? When I heard your name from Felix, I just had to know, had to know if it was really you. And when I stood outside your bookstore, that's when I saw you." He was now looking down at his hands, his fingers dancing with each other. It was then I realized that not only he just told me about his feelings, he just confessed to me. "Apart from your monster-in-law screaming like a banshee."
I snort which turns into laughter, him laughing with me. The more I laughed, the more I liked it. How long has it been since I've laughed like this? I wipe a tear from my eyes as I catch my breath. "What was I thinking? Marrying him with a mother like that."
"You weren't. You were in love," he replies.
I glance at him. "Maybe. I mean what is love, really? He was my first with everything. I gave him 4 years of my life, dressing up how he liked, telling me how much to eat, how to act around his mom. And what did I get in return?"
"Aubrey."
"I was so sure that they would change if I became pregnant. But even that was constant nagging from her. Like I couldn't even breathe the same air around them, let alone eat. Did you know the night you picked me up, she only cooked for herself and him? And made me watch them finish off everything as I sat across from them? I mean who does that?"
"Baby," he calls out but it doesn't reach me.
"4 years of hell. 4 years I became the quiet Aubrey. And the last 2 years of constant bitching about babies. Baby this, baby that. They made me believe I was the problem but no. It was him all along."
"Babe, look at me."
"It was him all along. That bastard took advantage of me even when....even when..." A sob escapes me and a pair of warm hands cup my cheeks as his face comes in view. Tears escape my eyes that I didn't know were there.
"It's not your fault," he softly said, gazing into my eyes. "They didn't deserve you. You, my sweet sweet girl, deserve so much more." I smile at his words and try to get his hands off me but they don't budge. "My sweet girl."
"Chris le-"
"Can I kiss you?"
Blinking, I give a little nod. He leans down and claims my lips. We immediately tangle ourselves in the kiss as clothes fly off and land on the floor somewhere before his mouth go on the places where it hasn't been before. I let him drive me to a place, where it's just the two of us. Just two people who care about each other, two souls pleasuring each other.
------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning he took me again when I came down the stairs in just his shirt and my underwear. Twice. Let's just say the kitchen island had to be cleaned and disinfected twice. He did, however, reach for me again. He only backed off when I gave him a glare.
One thing I was starting to love about is him cooking. I offered to make breakfast but surprisingly, he's very strict about it. Didn't even let me help and just made me sit on the dining chair. "Han called this morning."
This got my attention. "Oh?"
"Yeah," he spoke as he placed a plate in front of me, full with eggs, sausages, hash browns, bacon and what looked to be sourdough bread pieces. My mouth immediately started salivating. "He saw all the documents and said Troy won't be able to get a penny from you."
A sigh of relief escapes me, my shoulder sagging. "Okay. That's good to hear."
"You have security cameras around the bookstore right? And inside?" He shoves a bacon slice in his mouth.
"Yes, why?"
"In case he tries to vandalize it."
I freeze mid cutting the sausage and shift my eyes up at him. "What the fuck? Do you think he'll go to that extent?"
"Oh, he definitely will," he says as a matter of fact. "So I want you to be on alert when you're at work and text or call me as soon as you see anything out of the ordinary."
"But..."
"No buts. Eat," he orders, pointing at my plate with his fork. Yes, daddy is what I wanted to say but my cheeks grow warm at the thought of what would happen if I say that. So I oblige and eat.
*******************************************************
Chris drives me to work, holding my hand the entire ride. When he parked in front the bookstore, I start to unbuckle the seat belt as Chris comes to my side and opens the door. As I get out, I fix my hair and face him. "See you later?"
"Yeah," he smiles. Gosh, I want to swim in those dimples. "See you later."
Smiling, I turn around but a hand grabs my arm turning me back around. I blink in confusion but melt like a puddle when he gives me a kiss. When he finally lets go, his hands cup my cheeks. "I love you."
And my breathing stops.
------------------------------------------------------------
*UNKNOWN POV*
I watch as Aubrey smiles at Chris and my hand tightens around the steering wheel. How can she smile like that at a man she's only met for a short time? Then I watch as they kiss and something in me breaks.
If that's how she wants to play, fine. Meet my wraith, Aubrey Williams.

GUIDE TO 90s COOL-TONED MAKEUP
Really, who doesn't love the 90s?
There's something so special about the makeup in this decade. It was chaotic, grunge, chic, free and cool. Think supermodel glam; a dramatic, dark, smokey eye with a little bit of a soft, generally blue, sheen. Lip combos were in. Enhancing your natural features rather than hiding them was in. So, why not bring it back? I feel like this look truly makes everyone 10x times hotter. Keep reading to achieve this cool-toned, frosty, chic and grungy 90s makeup.
-
1
Foundation
Something that really defines 90s makeup is matte skin. We've seen it on Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Kate Moss. Find a foundation that truly matches your skintone; my suggestion is the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. Yes, it's not a matte foundation, but combined with the Laura Mercier Translucent powder, it will give you the perfect finish. Blend with a wet sponge.
2
Concealer
You should apply your concealer in these spots for the perfect frosty look. Again, blend with a wet sponge. My suggestion is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
3
Powder
After applying powder over your foundation, you want to apply a little more where you put your concealer and these other spots for a bright, matte finish. Trust me, a little brightness on these areas will enhance your features a lot.
4
Contour
Put your contour a little bit higher than usual, like in the picture. It will give you that snatched supermodel look. The perfect 90s contour is definitely the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand in medium dark.
5
A subtle blush
Our eyes will already be popping, so you want to be a little more subtle on the face. Pick a powder blush tone close to your skin color that still gives you that nice look on your cheeks and apply just a tiny bit. The Dior Backstage blush is a classic and totally works for this, but you can also use the Colourpop Wildcats blush.
6
Eyeshadow
And now the funnest part! Start with an open brush and grab soft, transition brown shade and apply it on your crease with circular motions for a nice transition between your skintone and the darker shades.
Then, grab a less open brush and use light grey shade all over your lid, blending it with the brown shade.
After that, use a dark, almost black shade on your "outer V" to give your eyes contrast. Tip: don't try to create a foxy eye shape if u don't naturally have it. Following your natural shape will always look better and reflect your unique beauty.
Lastly, use a deep blue, shimery eyeshadow to create a transition between the grey and the black, just like the picture shows.
Colourpop Gone Matte Palette
7
Liner and mascara
To finish your alluring eye-look, use the Rimmel Scandaleyes Pen liner on your upper lashline and your favorite mascara on your lashes.

Lips
My favorite step! We are going for a red velvet lip look. Start with a deep brown lip liner. I like to use the Makeup Forever lipliner in Total Taupe. Now, the perfect lipshade for this look is the Rimmel 560 lipstick. Tip: you can also use a red velvet eyeshadow on your lips.
THE END.

I don’t remember what day it is today, but to be honest, I lost track a couple of days ago… I think… 😊 Glowy skin because I didn’t use a stitch of powder… …my skin’s been a little dry thanks to me amping up the tret before the holidays. So I’m been layering on tons of sunscreen when it’s sunny out, and layer on moisturizer once the sun sets. The @fentyskin sunscreen is a moisturizing glowy sunscreen that works well with their makeup. I used @charlottetilbury concealer under my eyes, and as you can see, I apply it quite sheerly. I thought about layering on more but I don’t care about hiding every pore on my skin. Also used the Contour Wand in Fair/Light and it blends out so easily. Used the @fentybeauty Eaze Drop foundation but also sheerly. You can see my freckles through the coverage and that’s fine. Also used the Fenty Beauty Double Cheek’d up blush. @lancomeofficial Monsieur Big mascara. It’s tubing but it still smudged a bit. @narsissist Dolce Vita Satin Matte lip pencil because it’s a dumb reach and I’ve had it forever but I think I want something glossy now. #selfie #christmasselfies #sundayselfies #charlottetilbury #fentybeauty #fentyface #fentyskin #narssist #tubingmascara #canadianbeautyblogger (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmnKyuVpt_R/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Sunset Soiree: Makeup Looks for Busy Girls Enjoying Evening Gatherings by Industry Leaders including Nozima Husainova
In today’s fast-paced world, busy girls often find themselves juggling multiple responsibilities, leaving little time for lengthy beauty routines. However, when it comes to attending evening gatherings, looking polished and put-together is essential. The right makeup techniques can enhance your natural beauty, allowing you to make a lasting impression without spending hours in front of the mirror. This blog will explore various makeup looks tailored for busy girls, focusing on simplicity, versatility, and time efficiency.
Flawless Base in Minutes
Experts like Nozima Husainova mention that creating a flawless base is fundamental to any makeup look, especially for busy girls on the go. The key to achieving this in a limited timeframe is to start with a good primer. A lightweight, hydrating primer not only helps your makeup adhere better but also creates a smooth canvas for your foundation. Choose a tinted moisturizer or BB cream that offers both coverage and hydration. These products are designed to even out skin tone while providing a natural finish.
Next, utilize a beauty sponge or foundation brush to apply your foundation or tinted product evenly. Focus on areas that need the most coverage, such as redness around the nose or dark circles under the eyes. To set your base, use a translucent powder sparingly, concentrating on the T-zone. This quick yet effective method allows you to achieve a polished look in just a few minutes, ensuring you are ready for your evening out.
Effortless Eye Makeup
When time is of the essence, simplifying your eye makeup is crucial. Opt for an eyeshadow palette that contains versatile neutral shades. These can easily transition from day to night. Start by applying a light, matte shade all over the lid to create a base. Then, use a slightly darker shade in the crease to add depth. For a quick pop, consider applying a shimmery shade to the center of the lid; this technique instantly brightens the eyes without requiring multiple products.
To further enhance your eyes, a few coats of mascara can make a significant difference. Focus on the roots of your lashes and wiggle the wand as you move upward for added volume. If you're feeling adventurous, a quick swipe of eyeliner along the upper lash line can add definition. This simple eye makeup routine is both effective and time-efficient as highlighted by leaders such as Nozima Husainova, allowing you to look effortlessly chic.
Pop of Color on the Cheeks
Adding a touch of color to your cheeks can transform your entire look and make you appear more awake and vibrant. Industry leaders including Nozima Husainova convey that cream blushes are an excellent choice for busy girls, as they blend seamlessly into the skin and can be applied quickly with your fingers. Choose a shade that complements your skin tone, ideally something that mimics a natural flush. A coral or soft pink is often flattering for most complexions.
To apply, simply dab a small amount of blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend it outward toward your temples. This technique not only adds color but also gives a youthful glow. For an extra touch of radiance, you may opt to apply a highlighter to the high points of your face, such as the cheekbones, brow bones, and the bridge of the nose. This quick addition can elevate your look for evening gatherings, making you feel confident and polished.
Lips That Last
Lips are often the finishing touch to any makeup look, and choosing the right lip product can elevate your entire ensemble. For busy girls, lip stains or long-lasting liquid lipsticks are ideal, as they offer rich color without the need for frequent touch-ups. Opt for shades that complement your overall look; a classic red or a soft nude can be incredibly versatile for evening events.
Before applying your lip product, consider using a lip liner to define your lips and prevent feathering. This step enhances the longevity of your lipstick, ensuring it stays put throughout the night. After applying your chosen lip color, a quick blot with a tissue can set the product for a more matte finish. This efficient technique allows you to enjoy your evening without worrying about constant reapplication as pointed out by experts like Nozima Husainova.
Quick Touch-Up Tips
Even with the most well-planned makeup, touch-ups are sometimes necessary. Carrying a small makeup kit with essentials can save you from potential makeup mishaps throughout the evening. Include items such as a compact powder, a travel-sized mascara, and a lip product that matches your initial application. This ensures that you can easily refresh your look as needed.
For a quick fix, if you notice shine, lightly dust your T-zone with the compact powder to mattify your skin. A few swipes of mascara can revive your lashes, especially after a long day. Lastly, if your lip color has faded, a quick reapplication can bring your look back to life. These simple touch-up tips will keep you looking fresh and vibrant, allowing you to fully enjoy your evening gatherings.
The Power of Confidence
Ultimately, the most important aspect of any makeup look is confidence. Feeling good in your skin can significantly impact how you present yourself, regardless of the time spent on your makeup. Embrace your unique beauty and wear your chosen look with pride. Remember, makeup is a tool for enhancing your natural features, and the way you carry yourself is what truly makes a lasting impression.
Busy girls can achieve stunning makeup looks for evening gatherings without sacrificing time or quality. By focusing on a flawless base, effortless eye makeup, a pop of color on the cheeks, and long-lasting lips, you can create a polished appearance in minutes. Leaders such as Nozima Husainova express that having quick touch-up tips at hand and embodying confidence will further enhance your overall presence. With these strategies in mind, you can enjoy your sunset soirees and shine beautifully throughout the evening.

Blogmas: A glowy Christmas Eve 🤍
Hi guys,
I can't believe it is Christmas Eve! Usually I would wear a very heavy crazy disco ball eye look on xmas eve but this year I wanted a more glowy, highlighted makeup look. Today I'm going to chat you through some of the Tilbury products I used to create this makeup look!
To start this makeup look off I used the Charlotte Tilbury The Beautyverse Eyeshadow Palette , £60.00. This is Charlotte's holiday palette this year and unlike previous years, we got a newly designed 9 pan palette. In the palette you get 4 creamy shades and 5 glitter shades that act as topper shades as well as individual glitter shadows. For this makeup look in particular I used the lightest nude matte shade all over my lid to add definition and then used the golden and silver toned glitter all over my eye lid to create some shine. What I love about these shadows is when the light hits it really makes the colours come alive in this palette and it's perfect for the festive season.
Once my eyes are done and I have my foundation and concealer on I move on to my favourite Hollywood Contour Wand in Light / Medium , £30.00. This liquid contour wand is perfect if you want to add some shape or definition to your complexion. Personally I use this product as a contour and bronzer because I'm so fair and it's a great way to add some warmth to your face with its winter season.
For my blush I have actually been mixing the Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Peach Pop, £30.00 and the Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm , £30.00 together because it creates a gorgeous glowy coral tone that really suits my complexion. I learnt this trick on TikTok and personally I love how the formulas blend into my face base and since it's a mix of a matte and shimmer formula the blush lasts longer than my usual glowy blush formulas. Lasty to add that extra bit of glowy highlight I use my fav Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight, £30.00. Spotlight is a stunning silver / rose gold highlighter that looks like diamonds on your eyes. As well as using this on my cheekbones I use it as an inner corner highlight too!
And there we have it, my Christmas Eve glowy makeup look! Hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial and as always all products mentioned are linked above. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Christmas Eve!
Lots of love,
Bella x x

Evergreen
synopsis he finds you exhausted on his bed after a long day of preparing for your exams
warnings none, its all tooth rotting fluff
notes i love mattheo riddle i wish boys with curly brown hair and puppy dog eyes would exist
It was a cold November evening. The constant murmur of the lake and the soft candle lights made the atmosphere scenic. The rich, deep green comforters paired nicely with the silvery walls and other furniture. You honestly preferred the Slytherin colors to your blue ones.
You were studying in his room, while Mattheo was at quidditch practice. Your final exams were coming up and stress consumed your entire being. It reflected on your overall look as you had greasy hair, eye bags, and breakouts. You felt like you’ve never looked worse.
When he came back from practice, he saw you, sitting on his bed, fully immersed in your studies, occasionally mumbling potion steps that you had a hard time memorizing as you mindlessly played with your wand.
A small smile spread across his lips as he took in the scene. You always looked beautiful, but right now you were glowing to him. He felt like all the candle lights burned just to illuminate you.
He often made parallels between you and an evergreen. Unlike the other trees, whose leaves changed with the seasons, evergreen’s stood tall and beautiful throughout the whole year.
You were his evergreen. The only constant point throughout his chaos. Mattheo felt like he would never be able to express just how much he appreciated you being in his life.
The mere fact that you were his, and only his crossed his mind daily and left him feeling giddy. Beauty, smarts, kindness, curiosity, an open mind and heart, he could honestly go on, you’ve got it all.
Mattheo walked up behind you and hugged you, resting his head on your shoulders. He took in your scent and let out an exhausted sigh.
“Hello gorgeous,” he muttered and pressed a kiss to your cheek.
You instinctively relaxed into his touch and leaned back into him. You blushed at the pet name and turned around to properly embrace him which he immediately returned holding you tightly. Hugging him felt like someone took the weight off your shoulders. He was your little island you could seek comfort in.
“You smell nauseatingly sweaty,” you chuckled as your fingers found his curls and started a familiar dance with them.
He smiled into your hair and pulled back to look at your face.
“Just wanted to say hi first,” his hands brushed your stray hairs back and examined you. “You look exhausted, how long have you been studying for?” His tone sounded concerned as his dark eyes met yours. You could swear they sparkled.
“I’m fine, it hasn’t even been that long,” she smiled and pressed a quick kiss on his palm that cupped her face.
He gave her his signature oh really? look and shook his head. “I find that hard to believe. I found you buried in your books this morning, and I’m pretty sure you haven’t moved an inch since you came over to my room. Look, there’s a perfect dent where you sat on the bed,” he pointed out with a chuckle.
You rolled your eyes at the last comment. “Time flies when you’re having fun?” You offered a sarcastic remark with an awfully tired tone and smile. You sighed and leaned back onto him. “Sorry, I’ll wrap up in a second. I just need to do good on this exam,” you muttered into his collar bones.
He nodded in understanding and placed a kiss on your forehead. “I get that, but you also need to rest. All your efforts will be futile if you don’t.” He took a second to think about what to say next. “What do you say you finish for the day, hm? I’ll take a quick shower and we can talk about this more if you want.”
You hesitantly nodded in agreement to which he flashed you a smile. Mattheo got up and disappeared in the bathroom.
When he reappeared ten minutes later, he found you dozing off over the textbook. He rolled his eyes and smiled to himself as he walked back to his bed. “Now, now, what did we talk about?”
Mattheo gently closed your books and put them on the nightstand.
You murmured something in protest instinctively reaching for them, but in return, all you got was a lovesick grin and gentle reassurances of more time for studying tomorrow. Mattheo guided you upwards on the bed to put you under the covers with soft kisses and hushed instructions.
He was so soft and delicate with you. It was your favorite part about him. Only you got to see this side of his. The way he treated other people in his life and the way he treated you? Poles apart. Sure, he gave you his sarcastic and teasing side, but never his aggressive one. He was acutely aware of his reputation and made sure that you never saw him when his anger got the best of him.
After fights, he would seek you out for helping with his wounds and constantly assure you that he’s okay and you shouldn’t worry about him, he knows what he’s doing.
Once he managed to make you comfortable, he slid next to you, draping an arm around your waist as you subconsciously scooted closer to him and your back met his chest.
He purred your name and whispered you a good night almost like a lullaby.
As you drifted off into a deep sleep in his strong arms, you felt like you would never be able to tell him how much he meant to you. How much you appreciate him and how much love you had for him.
ⓘ my last few exams are coming up and i just needed to get this out of my system. also this started as a slytherin boys react thing but im just so in love with this man that i didn’t even realize i’ve been yapping about him for 900 something words.

My Current Lineup
My favorite tried and true items, as of March 2024.
Foundation: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Longwear Foundation in shade 210. What I like: silky smooth texture, applies beautifully with a kabuki brush, highly pigmented for coverage and minimal product use, luxurious finish.
Sadly my previous favorite foundation, the moonshot Micro CorrectFit Foundation, is likely being discontinued as I can no longer find it anywhere. I also have their Micro Settingfit Cushion EX. This is essentially that same liquid foundation product but pre-soaked in a cushion sponge inside a case, applied with an included silicone puff.
Why I love moonshot foundations: they provide superfine, buildable coverage, doesn’t cling onto texture on my skin. However I don’t like the cushion form factor as much - I find the puff hard to use as an applicator and would have preferred my own brushes. Also they have a very limited shade range and the shade that matches me is often out of stock.
Powder: CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder - my very first powder product, tried and true as nothing else really compares. What I like: really fine powder, provides a nice, gentle and natural-looking matte coverage. Its quality feels like a whole class higher than its reality as a drug store brand. The powder also keeps pretty well and doesn’t cake up from being applied with liquid foundations.
Blush: e.l.f. Studio Blush in Candid Coral - one of the first blushes I ever tried and still my favorite after all the years. This particular color is subtle yet elegant, perfect for giving a more mature glow for my everyday work look.
Bronzer: NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna. Why I like it: luxurious-feeling bronzer with plenty of product for the price, buildable coverage, perfect for summer months to tone down the shade of my foundation. It also doubles as my nose contouring powder.
Eyeshadow: e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer Sheer - before I apply eyeshadow, I always apply this eyelid primer. It eliminates the eyelid crease and also makes the eyeshadow last a lot longer through any given night.
Currently I am using the IM’UNNY Multi Eye Shadow Palette in Simply Glam. I fell in love with IM’UNNY products after trying their mascara, and this eyeshadow palette is no exception. The colors are just so pretty and versatile. I can go from either a simple look to all glammed out for date night with just one palette.
Also of note: I have the limited edition MAC Maleficent Eyeshadow Quad and it shows just how high quality MAC products are. Their eyeshadow powders are fine yet very pigmented, making application easy and quick.
Eyeliner: IM’UNNY Skinny Fit Slim Pencil in Honey Brown - a gel pencil eyeliner that I picked up after starting to use their mascara. Why I love it: very simple, subtle pencil eyeliner that allows quick application in the mornings. The gentle shimmer adds just enough shine to double as both eyeliner and pseudo-eyeshadow in one application. A must have for quick getting ready routines.
For more serious looks: MAC Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Liner. What I like: I searched long and hard to find an eyeliner that was truly waterproof. This is the ONLY product that is absolutely, truly, waterproof. I have gone swimming with it on and it does not budge. It basically doesn’t come off until you want it to come off, but is easy to remove with an oil-based makeup remover, and comes in a number of colors besides the standard black.
Mascara: IM’UNNY Real Fit Skinny Mascara. Why I love it: micro-thin brush! Way more suitable for straight, thin eyelashes than the thick wands from western brands. Buildable, coats each lash gradually instead of dumping mascara on in clumps.
For waterproof: Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara - one of the first mascara products I’ve tried and still good after all the years. What I like: truly waterproof and won’t come off until you’re ready to remove it. Actually it requires a good thorough rub with an oil-based makeup remover to come off completely.
Makeup Setting Mist: e.l.f. Matte Magic Mist & Set. What I like: This mist indeed has the best setting power among those I’ve tried, and it also is the cheapest thanks to e.l.f.’s affordable product lineup. Simple and straightforward.
Makeup Remover: The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Balm. Why I love it: oil-based makeup remover with a luscious, buttery feel; super gentle yet strong removing power for any makeup on my face. This is the only makeup remover product I’ll ever need. The balm-in-a-tin form factor travels extremely well.
Also a favorite: Biore Makeup Removing Wipe - an emergency buy while traveling in Japan after forgetting to pack my Chamomile balm! I was amazed at how gentle the wipe felt and how well it removed even the most stubborn of my waterproof makeup, the mascara. Great option for packing light on travel.
Eyebrow Gel: Laka Wild Brow Shaper in Balance. Why I love it: subtle, buildable eyebrow gel, manages to tame my wild “manes” of eyebrows without going over the top in adding color or darkness. Now my eyebrows actually look presentable with minimal effort and no plucking!
Perfume: Giorgio Armani Sì Passione - I fell in love with this perfume after sniffing a tester out of a magazine page. What I like: it is a lovely and dynamic scent, sweet and yet complex with the sandalwood finishing note, maturely romantic and perfect for date nights. My husband enjoys it as well when I put it on. It’s pricey but well worth every penny!

Title: Effortless 5-Minute Makeup Routine for Everyday Wear
Welcome, makeup enthusiasts! Today, I’ll guide you through a swift yet stunning and simple makeup routine that’s perfect for those busy mornings or when you need a quick touch-up before stepping out.
Step 1: Prep Your Canvas (1 minute)Start with a clean face. Apply a dime-sized amount of primer evenly across your face using your fingertips. I recommend Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer as it is perfect for both oily and dry skin. This step helps your makeup stay put throughout the day.
Step 2: Foundation or Tinted Moisturizer (1 minute)Opt for a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer that matches your skin tone. I use L.A girl matte foundation and it works ✨wonders✨. Apply it in dots across your face – forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Blend it outwards using a makeup sponge or brush for a seamless finish. (Don’t forget to blend down to your collarbone for a more natural transition!)
Step 3: Conceal and Brighten (1 minute)Dab a small amount of concealer in the inner and outer corners your eyes, on any blemishes, or areas needing extra coverage. Gently blend it with a wet beauty blender or your fingertips to achieve a natural, even skin tone. Don’t forget to use a translucent powder to avoid creases in areas such as the under eye, nose, above jawline, and forehead.
Step 4: Add a Flush of Color (1 minute)For a natural flush, use a cream blush or a multitasking lip and cheek tint. The liquid blush by Rare Beauty works fantastic, due to the amount of tint I recommend using at most 2 dots for a soft but visible look. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and blend it outwards for a rosy, healthy glow.
Step 5: Define Those Lashes and Lips (1 minute). Curl those lashes ladies!! Then coat your lashes with a lengthening or volumizing mascara. You never want to apply mascara before curling your lashes as there is a risk of your eyelashes falling out with the eyelash curler. Wiggle the wand at the base of your lashes and comb through for definition. Finish off with a swipe of tinted lip balm or a nude lipstick for a subtle pop of color.
Bonus Step (if time allows)If you have an extra moment, lightly fill in your brows using a brow pencil or gel for added definition. You can use your concealer to further define your brows by placing a small amount lining the bottom and top of your eyebrows, blending it all in with a wet(damp) beauty blender.
Last step(never forget) LADIES SET YOUR MAKEUP PLEASE!!! After any routine don’t forget to use a simple but effective setting spray. Setting spray helps the makeup stay in place for longer periods and keeps your makeup looking fresh without having to touch up your makeup as often. The best setting spray to use is the Rare Beauty Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist, it hydrates, primes, sets, and refreshes for an uplifting glow-boost that lasts.
And voila! In just 5 minutes, you’ve achieved a fresh, radiant look to tackle the day. Remember, practice makes perfect, so feel free to personalize this routine to suit your style and preferences.
Stay fabulous,
Bre🤍

it's spring...I took these pictures because I had so much awe and amazement at the sheer biodiversity of the forest floor, all the shapes and patterns of leaves an exuberant festival of creativity and beauty
I felt so sad at thinking of how many people would never see it because they were not the "Outdoorsy" type and in our society these wonders are limited to some distant place, for the viewing of a person that does "Hiking," a kind of hobby or exercise
I had to show everyone...
But then the pictures disappointed me because they didn't capture what it was like to see the overwhelming diversity all around in a valley of spring fragrant soil and lush mossy mist, rippling with clear pure birdsong, the mountains folding comfortingly around you and on their ridges watercolor-like blots of rich pink of redbud, ruby red of red maple, first and newest blush of tulip poplar waking up such a fragile tiny baby green it's almost yellow.
The boulders are bearded with ferns, dappled with patching of mosses both lustrous and matte, both shaggy and plush, and between the bumps of moss and crevices in the stone delicate plants grow, putting up plume-like wands of flowers shaped like snowflakes, sprays of ferns and scrawling vines, rosettes of neat little leaves and lush gardens of succulents...oh to be a tardigrade in the moss pastures of that valley
^Those spotted leaves are trout lily leaves
There are fifteen or twenty trillium species in the Appalachian mountains, they come in red, yellow, pink, cream, white, and various combinations and patterns. I think this is a variant Red Trillium, same species as above.
i have such a long backlog of posts I want to make that i'm too tired to actually make
a beautiful and wondrous trillium
