ngl tho this is the first and last taylor swift album i ever want to read into because finding out that some of the best songs on this album are about some dusty tim burton idea of a guy that got scrapped in the early stages, and only has one hit single is annoying the fuck out of me.

i like it better when i can imagine my own love interests. i cry 10 times harder and louder, and find out some soul crushing truth about my mental health and personified identity when I'm not invested in this woman's personal life. i prefer the unbiased experience. the mysterious. the unknown.

The 1975's Matty Healy Under Fire After Controversial Podcast Appearance Matty Healy has once again managed to land himself in hot water after making a series of questionable jokes and comments on a controversial podcast.The 1975 frontman was the latest guest on The Adam Friedland Show — hosted by New York City comedians Friedland and Nick Mullen — and throughout the hour-long episode, the three men made several disparaging comments about multiple racial and ethnic groups and even accused Harry Styles of queerbaiting.Healy is no stranger to controversy or making headlines. Many moments from the UK band's At Their Very Best Tour for their fifth studio album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, went viral online due to Healy's bizarre acts on stage which included eating raw meat and sucking on a fan's thumb.Not all of his actions have necessarily resulted in public backlash, with his penchant for kissing audience members sparking a recent conversation about the importance of consent. However, fans of Healy are now condemning the singer for participating in a conversation riddled with homophobia and racism. Claims of the former derive from Healy questioning why Styles gets a "pass" for queerbaiting, even though the 2023 Grammy-award-winning musician has never officially put a label on his sexuality.Accusations of racism partially stem from Healy telling the two hosts about the time he had messaged American rapper Ice Spice, which led to group-wide speculation about her ethnicity.Friedland and Mullen first joked about the rapper being of Inuit descent, then Chinese and finally Hawaiian, mocking the accents of the last two groups mentioned. Speaking of influence on your style in the last post, care to talk about that a little more (or if you have before do you make remember where)? :) Who and what influenced you on your artistic journey, what helped lead the way to develop your style that we love very much and the artwork you create? I'm always glad to see artists and artworks I haven't known before and I'd love to hear about who is/was important to you.

That's sweet of you to ask. I've talked about this, yes, and I feel like I give different answers each time :D been making digital art for over a decade now, and professionally illustrating for at least three. Obsessed over loads of artists both alive and dead in that time, so for the sake of keeping it brief I'll mention contemporaries that I think are my biggest current inspirations? Some of these are illustrators, some are poster artists, all kick ass.

This is gonna turn into a follow-these-people list of recs; if you like alternative illustrated posters with striking color choices, check out Courtney Martin, Matt Ferguson, Tracie Ching, Rory Kurtz, and Olly Moss for obvious reasons. If you're curious to see the type of value grouping and creative compositions I chase after, they're the measuring stick.

They're all so incredibly good at many-many different things that I selectively study and obsess over.

That last part is a good way to summarize my entire approach to contemporaries tbh; I live and breathe the joy of seeing these incredible artists put out banger after banger, but you won't see me wholesale ripping one of them off necessarily. It's more of a granular search for interesting bits and pieces I can deconstruct and assimilate. And that sort-of results into what's called my style? I guess?

I think Edd would wanna get top surgery as soon as possible because he feels like. Too Aware of how having boobs feels at all times but until then he's making the most of binders. Gets really stupid custom ones with patterns like broccoli or bacon or the Coke logo. Post OP he was always complaining about the effects while healing but!!! Would always follow it up with something positive like "God I feel like I can't move my anything. I love it" and no one knows if he a joking or not but he seems happy so

Matt is a little on the fence about whether or not he wants top surgery because on one hand masculinity but on the other hand doesn't really know if it actually matters to her? Plus she's already kind of on the flat side, so it's not like a lot of people notice. Ultimately she just decides he's happy with just doing T because it's enough for him not to sound like a mouse who's parachute won't open. Does bind sometimes though when dysphoria gets bad, also helped pay for Tom and Edd's surgeries (family inheritance, cha ching)

Tom never really felt a lot of dysphoria, but at some was just like "yeah. this isn't my thing". Binded to get through highschool, worked his ass off to pay for surgery at some point, and then all of a sudden Matt offered to take care of what was left. It was a little annoyed she hadn't actually said anything sooner but hey!!! Top surgery is top surgery. Don't have a lot to say on this guy haha

Tord. it kinda depends on the day. They're generally pretty nonchalant to having anything there, if they wanted top surgery they'd had probably tried to DIY it by now /hj. But kinda likes having boobs for like. Genderfuck/confusing people reasons (pretty fit with a masc voice, but has semi-long hair and honkers /silly. Might also have stubble. Relishes in people asking what their gender is and and it typically goes something like "are you a man or a woman?" "oh I'm a kleptomanic actually - that's a nice watch ya got there")
