Oh yeah there's plenty of utility robots- in fact, CompanDroids were considered a failure, so big robotics companies have avoided social androids for a while. I can't see much in the way of utility bots having full personalities, but will ditch all logic for the joke of an industrial cardboard baler getting frazzled about Eddie flirting with it

So we are at a point in our history of humanity where everybody has a phenomenal amount of ancestors and diverse bloodlines.
We have shitloads more ancestors than our ancestors did 200 years ago, 2000 years ago, 2 million years ago. And what happens to a human who’s like a hybrid of all these ancestral bloodlines and DNA coding?
It means that a lot of us technically have evolved or should be evolving to a point where we are magical heroes with magical abilities and a high understanding of spiritual laws. And know how to make things happen that are impossible. This is the sacredness of our existence. Our evolution. It’s our birthright.
“They’ve” (depending on who you think “they” are) made it very hard for us to realise this , through their social programming tactics. To hinder our evolution process. “They” designed the system in such a clever way to oppress us as much as possible making it virtually impossible for the mythical heroes in the population to be born and thrive. “They” thought introducing the birth control pill was a good measure but those pills make women go crazy that’s why that birth control idea of theirs doesn’t work . “They” can’t defeat us.
But we are at a point in history where we are really in a state of constant confusion and delusion and mass ignorance. And programmed. Programmed to the extent that “they’re” happy with. “They” designed this social programming centuries ago. Programmers that come from all different sectors of time and space, dimensions, planets.
We can channel the old gods and goddesses in our bodies. We can summon them with our hearts. They hear us. They send out a call to us when they think we’re ready to accept them. We have to be a brave self aware humans to be able to unlock and navigate in this maze of life. We can go within ourselves and unlock pathways and storylines.
We used to listen to our elders when they passed down the wisdom, the old ways and the creation stories. They used their imagination to fill in the blanks. And taught the younger generation about life and why we’re here, the meaning of life and how we were created. Things to watch out for. How to be a moral person. We used to love that way of receiving information. “They” know that about us. That’s why “they” invented Hollywood. So that “they” could capture our imagination and steer it in a way that is more beneficial for “them”. And what’s more beneficial for “them” is shit for us.
Look at the state of us. We’re right where “they” want us. Divided. Disconnected. Confused. Isolated. Distrusting. Paranoid. Mentally unwell. Self worth issues. Image issues. Body issues. Gender issues. Every type of god damned issue! We’ve been tricked out of our survival instincts. Taking us out of nature and away from our home lands where our bloodlines are buried. With this un- natural colonialism, industrialism, capitalism and globalisation.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the story of Pandora’s Box lately. The box that once opened unleashed all the evils onto humanity. And I’ve been thinking about the hope fairy at the bottom of the box. Hope theory, I’m calling it. It’s a dangerous thing, hope. You have to take a risk. Have to have faith. You have to believe that things are going to get better. Be a light in the darkness. That’s us. Surviving in a world that’s becoming more and more immoral, senseless and detached. I know that some of you are reading this and understand exactly what I’m saying. We are the last hope. We are the hope fairy at the bottom of Pandora’s box. When everything seems hopeless and pointless or terrible and painful and endless suffering, we carry on, we keep going. Keep trying. Keep fighting. Keep hoping. Keep praying. Keep believing. Never give up! We might as well be all that is left of the light. The same light that “they” have been trying to crush and destroy for eons. Again and again and again. And “they” even created a matrix-timeloop-simulation-reality to keep us all in so that “they” can just keep re-hashing it over and over and over again because “they’re” sick in the head, perverted, and want to watch it as content ! You know , like a reality show or The Truman Show, where we are Truman.
So that’s why, we give them a good show. We’re being brave and fearless. I don’t know about you but I’m going to keep fighting evil until there isn’t a body operating for me to fight in.
I sometimes get so dark thinking about all this that I often wonder if hope itself is a delusion. If that makes me delusional, fine. I would rather be this way than evil, corrupted, perverted and exploitative which is what “they’re” grooming us for, ultimately losing our humanity.

ETH Zurich researchers have recovered the precious metal from electronic waste. Their highly sustainable new method is based on a protein fibril sponge, which the scientists derive from whey, a food industry byproduct.

Transforming base materials into gold was one of the elusive goals of the alchemists of yore. Now Professor Raffaele Mezzenga from the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich has accomplished something in that vein. He has not of course transformed another chemical element into gold, as the alchemists sought to do. But he has managed to recover gold from electronic waste using a byproduct of the cheesemaking process.
Electronic waste contains a variety of valuable metals, including copper, cobalt, and even significant amounts of gold. Recovering this gold from disused smartphones and computers is an attractive proposition in view of the rising demand for the precious metal. However, the recovery methods devised to date are energy-​intensive and often require the use of highly toxic chemicals. Now, a group led by ETH Professor Mezzenga has come up with a very efficient, cost-​effective, and above all far more sustainable method: with a sponge made from a protein matrix, the researchers have successfully extracted gold from electronic waste.
Selective gold adsorption
To manufacture the sponge, Mohammad Peydayesh, a senior scientist in Mezzenga’s Group, and his colleagues denatured whey proteins under acidic conditions and high temperatures, so that they aggregated into protein nanofibrils in a gel. The scientists then dried the gel, creating a sponge out of these protein fibrils.
To recover gold in the laboratory experiment, the team salvaged the electronic motherboards from 20 old computer motherboards and extracted the metal parts. They dissolved these parts in an acid bath so as to ionise the metals.
When they placed the protein fibre sponge in the metal ion solution, the gold ions adhered to the protein fibres. Other metal ions can also adhere to the fibres, but gold ions do so much more efficiently. The researchers demonstrated this in their paper, which they have published in the journal external pageAdvanced Materialscall_made.

As the next step, the researchers heated the sponge. This reduced the gold ions into flakes, which the scientists subsequently melted down into a gold nugget. In this way, they obtained a nugget of around 450 milligrams out of the 20 computer motherboards. The nugget was 91 percent gold (the remainder being copper), which corresponds to 22 carats.
Economically viable
The new technology is commercially viable, as Mezzenga’s calculations show: procurement costs for the source materials added to the energy costs for the entire process are 50 times lower than the value of the gold that can be recovered.
Next, the researchers want to develop the technology to ready it for the market. Although electronic waste is the most promising starting product from which they want to extract gold, there are other possible sources. These include industrial waste from microchip manufacturing or from gold-​plating processes. In addition, the scientists plan to investigate whether they can manufacture the protein fibril sponges out of other protein-​rich byproducts or waste products from the food industry.
“The fact I love the most is that we’re using a food industry byproduct to obtain gold from electronic waste,” Mezzenga says. In a very real sense, he observes, the method transforms two waste products into gold. “You can’t get much more sustainable than that!”
