5e Lulu, the Fae Sorceress build (League of Legends)
(Artwork by Kienan “Knockwurst” Lafferty. Made for Riot Games.)
youtube
Purple, that did taste. Mhhhhhmmmm.
Honestly Lulu was on my To Do list for ages but I never sat down to think about how to build her. She’s a fairly archetypal fantasy character, being a silly little wizard with a familiar. And more support builds are always fun.
I’m going to be honest as someone with Mastery 6 in Lulu she’s one of the most ELO-boosting champions in the game next to Blitzcrank. If anyone says that Season 10 was the point where Riot started to overtune their champions I need only point at Lulu. Maybe I just have this opinion because I only started to play Lulu back in Season 7 Ardent Censer meta (along with Sona I was too shit to play Janna back then) and then I started to play assassins to which Lulu became the bane of my existence with her stupid polymorph.
Anyways this build is also fun because Lulu is extremely memeable.
GOALS
Dust em, Pix! - Hey did you know that the Sprite is available as a familiar, but only to one class? I wonder what class that could be...
Just a pinch - Lulu is known for big shields as opposed to big heals.
Transmogulate! - It’s always kinda hilarious to me when a champion’s most iconic ability is the easiest to emulate.
RACE
My choice when making a Yordle is basically either Gnome or Halfling. Lulu will be a Gnome as she’s more magically inclined. You’d normally see an Intelligence increase but I’m going to recommend you invoke Tasha’s for +2 to Charisma instead (because Intelligence is only really good for two classes.) You also get Gnome Cunning for advantage on Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws against magic. Yordles are basically pure magic so it makes sense that you know your way around it.
The main reason I went for a Gnome is because I’m 95% sure that Lulu can talk to animals, ergo Forest Gnome can Speak with Small Beasts like squirrels, badgers, rabbits, moles, woodpeckers, and other things you probably polymorph your foes into. You’re also a Natural Illusionist that can cast Minor Illusion (although it’s based on your Intelligence so I don’t know how practical it’ll be) and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
ABILITY SCORES
15; CHARISMA - Yordles are cute, right? I mean maybe not when they turn you into a squirrel or turn huge.
14; CONSTITUTION - Look I could invest in something else but I’d really like to not die. Anyone who’s tried to chase a Lulu knows how deceptively tanky she is.
13; DEXTERITY - Something something Medium Armor, hold the Medium Armor.
12; INTELLIGENCE - Truth be told this is mostly so your Minor Illusion isn’t completely useless, but Arcana knowledge is also helpful.
10; WISDOM - You’re a bit ditzy and easy to fool. I’m sure watching that rock was really important...
8; STRENGTH - Yordles are big on magic; not so much on strength.
BACKGROUND
Hey wouldn’t it be neat if there was a book based in the Feywild with background based in the Feywild? Well Wild Beyond the Witchlight is based in the Feywild and the Feylost background ties you quite closely to it! You get proficiency with Deception and Survival as well as one musical instrument of your choice and the Sylvan language. (There are others but that’s kinda the only one that makes sense.)
There’s some other traits worth mentioning: you have a Fey Mark to show your Bandle pride (I’d consider big fluffy yordle ears to be in-flavor) and from time to time a Feywild Visitor might come to you at night. "That squirrel looks familiar." But your main feature is Feywild Connection: creatures from the Feywild recognize you as a yordle, and they will be nice to you!
(Artist unknown. Artwork made for Riot Games.)
THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - SORCERER 1
Lulu is the Fae Sorceress so of course her first level is in Sorcerer. You get two proficiencies from the Sorcerer list such as Arcana and Persuasion. You also get proficiency in Constitution saving throws which let’s be honest is the main reason I’m taking the first level in Sorcerer.
Shame there’s no Fey origin for Sorcerers so we’re going to just have to settle for Clockwork Soul. Bit of a weird choice yes but Restore Balance will be the first of many ways you can either buff an ally or debuff an enemy, by negating their buffs and debuffs! When someone you can see within 60 feet is about to roll with advantage or disadvantage, you can use your reaction to make them roll one d20 instead of two! You can only use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus (resetting on a Long Rest) but it’s still great to be able to stop an incoming assassin or help an ally catch a pesky foe!
You also get access to Spellcasting as a Sorcerer, and with the Clockwork Soul subclass you get additional Clockwork Magic spells. You can pick up some abjuration or transmutation spells from the Wizard, Warlock, or Sorcerer list and I’m going to tell you right now: take Shield and Mage Armor, because it’s not like you need anything else from those schools.
Well you can still prepare Feather Fall in case of an emergency, and Magic Missile is never bad to have. As for cantrips take Mending and Prestidigitation to keep yourself all nice and tidy, Mind Sliver to damage your foes while also making it easier for your allies to deal with them, and Thunderclap in case they get too close to you and you want your teammates to actually notice and help you.
LEVEL 2 - WARLOCK 1
Look: if I want a fae companion I need to go Warlock. And if I want to be a Fae Sorceress I have to go for the Archfey patron. As an Archfey Warlock you can invoke the Fey Presence of yordles. As an action you can cause each creature in a 10-foot cube originating from you (so around you basically) to make a Wisdom saving throw. You can choose to either Charm them or Frighten them until the end of your next turn. (Charming for your allies, and frightening for your foes!) You can use this ability once per Short or Long Rest.
Of course as a Warlock you get access to Pact Magic, which is like regular magic but the spell slots come back on a Short Rest! You get two cantrips from the Warlock spell list such as Eldritch Blast to eldritch while you blast, and Mage Hand for Pix to help you grab some things nearby. All before you actually get Pix!
You can also learn two spell and I’m just going to grab both the spells from the Archfey expanded spell list, as both Faerie Fire and Sleep are great spells for a support!
LEVEL 3 - WARLOCK 2
Second level Warlocks get access to Eldritch Invocations. For take Lance of Lethargy for Glitterlance‘s slow, and leave your other invocation slot open for now.
You can also learn another spell, but we’re going to wait for...
LEVEL 4 - WARLOCK 3
Third level Warlocks finally get Pix! You get to choose your Pact Boon and Pact of the Chain will let you summon a variety of familiars with the Find Familiar spell, including a Sprite! The Sprite has a sword and a bow which both do basically no damage but the bow is coated in poison that can (well yeah) poison the enemy, and if they fail the saving throw by 5 or more the target falls unconscious instead until someone shakes it awake (or stabs them.) They can also tell how someone feels thanks to Heart Sight, and they can also basically cast Invisibility on themselves at will!
Why am I detailing everything that Pix can do? Because Investments of the Chain Master will make you and Pix a dynamic fighting duo! This invocation lets you give Pix a swimming speed (they already have a Flying speed so why give it to them twice?), magical attacks (to overcome resistance, like Pix doesn’t do 1 damage per shot), and you can use your reaction to give them resistance if they take damage.
Much more importantly however you can make Pix attack with your bonus action. And if they hit, their saving throw abilities use your spell save DC! A +6 on Pix’s bow isn’t all that bad, and poisoning foes makes it a lot harder for them to fight. And of course knocking a foe unconscious is even better! Basically it’s free for Pix to shoot your enemies and if you can poison them it’ll make it a lot easier for your allies to fight.
You can also now learn second level spells like Ray of Enfeeblement for Exhaust, and Misty Step for Flash.
LEVEL 5 - WARLOCK 4
4th level Warlocks get the first of many Ability Score Improvements. Your uneven Charisma score makes it easy to grab the Telepathic feat for +1 to Charisma and the ability to keep to team chat with Telepathy. Being able to cast Detect Thoughts once for free (and then cast it some more with spell slots) is a nice added bonus.
You can also learn another spell along with another cantrip! For your cantrip Chill Touch is good if you need some Grievous Wounds. For your leveled spell Lulu doesn’t have a root but Hold Person is a good spell to have, so take that.
(Artwork by Esben Lash Rasmussen. Made for Riot Games.)
LEVEL 6 - SORCERER 2
Second level Sorcerers get a Font of Magic for Sorcery Points, which can be used for... pretty much nothing right now. For now you can turn 2 Sorcery points into a first level spell slot, and can turn a 2nd level spell slot into 2 Sorcery points.
Why does this matter? Your Warlock slots come back after a Short Rest. Your Sorcery points don’t. So if you have some spare Warlock slots before a Short Rest you can turn them into Sorcery points for later!
You can also learn another first level spell, and while there are some good supportive options it would probably be a good idea to grab Disguise Self for a bit of yordle Glamor.
LEVEL 7 - SORCERER 3
Third level Sorcerers get to use their Sorcery Points on Metamagic to augment their powers the way only yordles can! If you want to make sure that an enemy turns fluffy and harmless (when we get the ability to do so) take Heightened Spell so they’ll have disadvantage on their first saving throw against your spells. Alternatively if you want to buff your allies for as long as possible take Extended Spell which will keep your spells running for longer.
Speaking of spells Clockwork Magic gives you access to both Aid and Lesser Restoration which are both very good to keep your teammates alive. And what’s funny about 5e is that we can straight up get Lulu’s ultimate before her E! Take Enlarge / Reduce to give your allies some Wild Growth, or even shrink your enemies if you’re feeling spicy!
LEVEL 8 - SORCERER 4
4th level Sorcerers get another Ability Score Improvement which means we can max out your Charisma for the best spellcasting as soon as possible. Of course with better spellcasting more spells would be nice, and more cantrips. For your cantrip Dancing Lights might be bad because it takes Concentration, BUT... it’s quite fitting for a fae sorceress and Light doesn’t really fit Lulu. As for leveled spells Everfrost isn’t the most popular pick for Lulu, but if you decide to build it Rime’s Binding Ice will let you deal some good damage while also rooting foes in place!
(Artwork by Alex “alexplank” Flores. Made for Riot Games.)
LEVEL 9 - SORCERER 5
You know how you’ve been canceling Disadvantage with your Sorcerer abilities? Well now you can basically give yourself advantage on ability checks thanks to Magical Guidance. 1 Sorcery point to reroll a failed skill check sure is worth it!
You can also learn third level spells. Dispel Magic is cool but I’m also going to suggest you grab Haste instead of Protection from Energy, to finally have the ability to empower your allies with your W! You can also learn Hypnotic Pattern, which yes Lulu can’t cast it in League but it’s a great supportive spell to keep enemies out of the fight, which fits Lulu well.
LEVEL 10 - SORCERER 6
We should probably start shielding people as Lulu by total level 10. Bastion of Law will let you spend 1 to 5 sorcery points to create a shield around yourself or another creature you can see within 30 feet of you, which lasts until you finish a long rest or until you shield someone else.
The shield is equal to a number of d8s equal to the number of sorcery points you used to create it. If the creature takes damage, it can expend any number of those dice to reduce the damage taken by the total rolled.
You can also prepare another spell like Counterspell, to overpower any dangerous magic with your own fae yordle magic.
LEVEL 11 - SORCERER 7
7th level Sorcerers can learn 4th level spells. Freedom of Movement from the Clockwork Sorcerer list is pretty good for a Mikael's Crucible, but you know what’s a great 4th level Transmutation spell? Polymorph! By total level 11 you can finally turn someone into a squirrel.
You can also learn another spell like Dimension Door. Just because Lulu doesn’t take Teleport normally doesn’t mean you can’t get another Summoner Spell when you’re allowed to bring more than 2 of them.
LEVEL 12 - SORCERER 8
8th level Sorcerers get another Ability Score Improvement and alright we may as well take War Caster since you’ve got maxed out Charisma. Advantage on Concentration checks is obviously the biggest benefit but being able to Polymorph someone who tries to stab you and then run away is also nice.
Speaking of casting: Banishment! More good supportive spells for a good little support who absolutely wouldn’t be tempted to go full AP, right?
(Artwork by SixMoreVodka Studios. Made for Legends of Runeterra by Riot Games.)
LEVEL 13 - WARLOCK 5
Quickly hopping back over to Warlock for Agonizing Blast to agonize your blasts. Also for Summon Fey to get a harder, better, faster, more expensive, and stronger Pix that you couldn’t get by just being a sorceress.
LEVEL 14 - WARLOCK 6
Flash is good. How about a second Flash? Misty Escape can be used as a reaction when you take damage to teleport 60 feet and turn invisible until the start of your next turn, unless you cast a spell or make an attack until then. You can use this ability once per Short or Long Rest, but it’s good to have in your pocket in case you get dove.
You can also learn Plant Growth from the Archfey list. Yes it’s not the most practical spell, but it fits Lulu well.
LEVEL 15 - SORCERER 9
9th level Sorcerers get access to 5th level spells. As a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer Greater Restoration is good to have, and while Wall of Force might not fit Lulu it has a lot of good uses.
If you are tired of being a good little support and want to go full AP then Bigby's Hand might serve well to do both. (Ty Tasha’s.) You can punch people, grab people, or defend your allies with your magic! I suggest reading the spell over to see everything it can do, because it can do a lot.
LEVEL 16 - SORCERER 10
10th level Sorcerers (finally) get another Metamagic option. If you want to work with Pix to do some tricks with your Glitterlance take Distant Spell to fire from all sorts of strange angles.
You can also learn another spell, along with another cantrip. For your cantrip Control Flames is kinda the cantrip you take when you’re multiclassing and have 9 total cantrips. As for leveled spells there actually isn’t much else I want at 5th level, so I’m going to take Intellect Fortress from 3rd level in case of emergency. Sure advantage on mental saves (and Psychic damage) won’t always be useful (especially for a yordle who can already resist magic), but it’s one of those in-case-of-emergency spells that’s never bad to have.
(Artwork by Spearsoft Studio. Made for Riot Games.)
LEVEL 17 - SORCERER 11
11th level Sorcerers can learn 6th level spells. No more free spells from your subclass, but you can learn True Seeing, because "You'll see more with your eyes closed."
LEVEL 18 - SORCERER 12
12th level Sorcerers get another Ability Score Improvement. You’ve probably been using a lot of Sorcery points by this point, haven’t you? Well Metamagic Adept gives you two more of them, as well as two new Metamagic options. May as well be a support at 30 minutes and actually get the ability to do damage with Quickened Spell and Twinned Spell.
Oh did you think you’d be able to learn another spell? Ha ha no. What do you mean it’s unfair that Wizards would get two more spells known and one more spell prepared by this level?
LEVEL 19 - SORCERER 13
13th level Sorcerers can learn 7th level spells like Power Word Pain, which despite the name doesn’t inflict any damage. It’s just an extremely debilitating spell on any enemy with 100 health or less.
LEVEL 20 - SORCERER 14
Have you ever played support in a 30 minute game? It’s like you have to go into a trance to keep everyone alive. Trance of Order can be activated as a Bonus Action, and for that duration no attack against you can benefit from advantage, and any roll you make that’s below a 10 defaults to a 10. You can use this ability once for free per Long Rest, but you can also use 5 Sorcery points to use it again.
FINAL BUILD
PROS
A solid giggle should do the trick - Wow a character designed to be a good support is a good support? Isn’t that wacky? But jokes aside you have more than enough utility spells to keep anyone alive or make anyone harmless.
Whoa... dizzy - The sprite isn’t used often and that’s really a shame. Poisoning enemies is strong, and knocking them out is even stronger!
Let's go around again! - You’re not exactly a tank but you have plenty of ways to keep yourself safe. Yes you can run away fairly easily but you can also weaken a foe to the point that they can’t hurt you!
CONS
Hot foot! - You’re a Sorcerer, which means you have a d6 hit die. You also have 14 DEX, which means that your AC is going to be 15 even with Mage Armor. You’re a squishy backliner through-and-through, and that’s a problem if anyone dives you. Or if they just cast Power Word Kill on ya.
Let's use all the colors - No matter how hard you try you can only concentrate on one spell, and while you do have spells that aren’t Concentration based your best tricks are tied to Concentration. Just remember that it’s entirely up to you if you want to take more fire-and-forget damaging spells instead of focusing everything into long-term utility magics.
Up we go! - This is definitely a build that falls off late game. Early on Pix is more likely to make an impact, and the shear number of spell slots you have makes their low strength a non-issue. But as saving throws get higher you’ll be much less likely to weaken your foes, and 7th level spells by total level 20 aren’t going to cut it against the biggest and baddest of foes.
But it doesn’t matter as long as you’re having fun! And for once I can say that both as the League character and as out-of-character advice. Remember that you’re here to make sure everyone can do their best and everyone has a great time thanks to you! So go out there and make your friends the best they can be! Or just go full AP and do it yourself.

The 7 habits of highly effective people
1. Be proactive
2. Begin with the end in mind
Ingin sukses? mulai dari tujuan akhir, ingin jadi apa? Buatlah mission statement, misalnya “umur 30 tahun harus jadi asisten manajer”, “umur 35 harus lulus PhD”, dll.
3. Put first thing first
Menentukan prioritas utama bisa memakai matriks:
Kuadran I = Necessity (Important, Urgent), yang mendukung goals/portofolio
Kuadran II = Effectiveness (Important, Not urgent), misalnya belajar
Kuadran III = Deception (Not important, Urgent), misalnya membuka sosmed
Kuadran IV = Waste & Excess (Not important, Not urgent), misalnya nonton netflix seharian
Setelah menentukan prioritas, kita membuat weekly plan, yaitu 1) Fokus ke prioritas utama, 2) Tentukan “big rock” (kegiatan/aktifitas yang mendukung goals/mission statement), 3) Komitmen terhadap prioritas
4. Think win win
5. Seek the first to understand then to be understood
Berusaha memahami terlebih dahulu, lalu membuat pertanyaan klarifikasi setelah mendengarkan semuanya.
6. Synergize
Bersinergi/ berkolaborasi dengan orang-orang yang potensial dan menjadi tim yang hebat.
7. Sharpen the saw
Balance and renew 4 dimension (body, mind, heart, soul) untuk membuat lifestyle yang effective dan sustainable.
Secara umum, 7 habits ini dibagi menjadi 3 bagian, yaitu
Poin 1,2,3 untuk mencapai personal mastery/ being independent.
Poin 4,5,6 untuk membantu berinteraksi dengan orang lain.
Poin 7 untuk mengasah poin-poin lainnya menjadi habit dan menjadikan hidup yang lebih efektif.

Caitlyn
How much I like them (0-10): 7/10. I like Cait a lot, but I don’t play her at all. She’s got big dick energy though and that just makes me -swet- like, she can step on you and you’ll damn enjoy it.Mastery level: 0Mastery points: 0 Favorite skin: Pool Party / ArcadeI love the colours and effects in these skins ( and I’m just biased with Arcade cause then it matches Sona >w>;; )
Weakest skin: Resistance Caitlyn seems to be a pretty old skin of hers.. And I don’t think it has aged very well
Favorite quote: “Sorry boys, I keep the fuzzy cuffs at home.”If I like to play against this champ: THE RANGE, OH GOD THE RANGEAny ships?: Vi, Fiora, Twisted Fate and now Jhin
Zoe
How much I like them (0-10): 10 but also -10/10. Listen. I fucking love Zoe. She’s hilarious, annoying, adorable, cheeky and just so refreshing. She’s a little shit incarnate and I love her oh so much but my god does it suck ass playing against herMastery level: 0Mastery points: 0Favorite skin: Cyber Pop/Star guardian. Again, I’m a sucker for space, sailor moon, and sparkles. But also the effect changes in both of these skins are so rad
Weakest skin: I don’t think she has a weak skin at all, Riot has been pretty kind to the brat. But I don’t like Pool Party’s colours too much, too bright for my mole eyes.
Favorite quote: “There are so many weirdos here… It’s awesome!”If I like to play against this champ: Insta-bannedAny ships?: Only platonic ones; Sona, Kayn, Annie, Lulu, A.Sol ( any other Aspect )

Best New Horror Movies on Netflix: Winter 2018
There’s an overwhelming amount of horror films and TV shows to sift through on Netflix, so I’ve decided to take out some of the legwork by compiling a list of the season’s best new genre titles available on Netflix’s instant streaming service.
Please feel free to leave a comment with any I may have missed and share your thoughts on the films you watch. You can also peruse past installments of Best New Horror Moves on Netflix for more suggestions.
1. The Haunting of Hill House
The Haunting of Hill House is, quite simply, some of the best long-form horror storytelling of all time. Based on - but not a strict adaptation of - Shirley Jackson's influential gothic horror novel of the same name, the series is created and directed by Mike Flanagan (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil). Told through two timelines, with clever transitions between the past and present, the story concerns five siblings and how an alleged haunting they experienced as kids affects them as adults. The cast includes Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial), Carla Gugino (Watchmen), Michiel Huisman (Treme), Elizabeth Reaser (Ouija: Origin of Evil), Kate Siegel (Hush), Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People), and Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation). It is admirably character-driven, which makes the horror elements hit even harder, and a spooky atmosphere is present throughout all 10 episodes.
2. Green Room
Writer-director Jeremy Saulnier achieves the impossible by matching - and perhaps even surpassing - the unbridled intensity of his previous film, Blue Ruin, with Green Room. The exercise in white-knuckle suspense finds a scrappy punk band trapped in a skinhead club after unwittingly walking in on a crime. The late Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) delivers one of the best performances of his tragically short career as the de facto leader of the band. In a bit of inspired casting, Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: The Next Generation) is chilling as the conniving, white supremacist venue owner. Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Joe Cole (Skins), and Callum Turner (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald) round out the band, while Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later) is also wrapped up in the brutal fight for survival. Akin to Don't Breathe, the tension on screen is enough to induce anxiety, and Saulnier nails the punk rock DIY spirit to boot.
3. Cam
Cam stars Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid's Tale) as a cam girl - one who performs pornographic acts live on camera for paying viewers - who is desperate to gain popularity. Produced by Blumhouse, this is not your typical "seedy underbelly of the sex industry" movie, although there is some of that; instead, it goes in a refreshing, unpredictable direction. Reminiscent of a neon-soaked episode of Black Mirror, Cam is a suspenseful and compelling mystery-thriller with a sci-fi twist and horror undertones. Brewer is spectacular in her fearless performance, while director Daniel Goldhaber makes a powerful feature debut.
4. The Night Comes for Us
The Night Comes for Us is an unrelenting action thriller in the vein of The Raid, John Wick, and Dredd. In fact, the Indonesian film reunites The Raid's Joe Taslim and Iko Uwais. Taslim leads as a man who goes rogue from a dangerous crime syndicate. A variety of deadly individuals (Uwais among them) are out to get him, but he has some tough allies as well. It all culminates in an incredible final battle in which the viewer feels every blow. The blend of brutal, graphic violence and impressively choreographed fight scenes is written and directed by by Timo Tjahjanto (whose V/H/S/2 segment is a highlight of the franchise).
5. Apostle
Forget that Nicolas Cage abomination; Apostle is the Wicker Man reboot we deserve. The Netflix original film is reminiscent of the 1973 occult horror classic not only in plot but also in tone, style, and pacing. Set in 1905 London, a feral Dan Stevens (The Guest) stars as a man whose sister is kidnapped by a religious cult on a secluded island, which he must infiltrate to save her. Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon) serves as the cult's charismatic leader, while Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody) plays his daughter. The slow-burn is quite a change of pace for writer-director Gareth Evans (The Raid franchise) and his regular cinematographer, Matt Flannery, but they handle it beautifully.
6. May the Devil Take You
May the Devil Take You feels like The Evil Dead's Sam Raimi directing an installment in The Conjuring universe. The Indonesian horror film is not a scrappy splatterfest; it's elegantly directed by Timo Tjahjanto (V/H/S/2). He culls from modern supernatural tropes to craft fine horror set pieces, spooky imagery, a good atmosphere, and strong production value. Chelsea Islan (Headshot) earns to be mentioned in the same breath as Bruce Campbell in her lead role as a daughter who investigates her estranged father's past to uncover the truth behind his coma and her haunting visions. It's a tad overlong at 110 minutes, which is particularly felt during the last act, but there's enough kinetic energy to keep it moving forward.
7. Hold the Dark
Hold the Dark is not quite as strong as Jeremy Saulnier's previous efforts (Green Room, Blue Ruin), but his mastery of tension remains unparalleled. Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) stars as a wolf expert who's convinced by an Alaskan woman (Riley Keough, Max Mad: Fury Road) to hunt a wolf that took her young son, only to get wrapped up in a murder plot. Meanwhile, the boy's soldier father (Alexander Skarsgård, True Blood) returns home from duty in the Middle East unhinged. The screenplay is written by Macon Blair (I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore), based on the book of the same name by William Giraldi. As viewers have come to expect from Saulnier, the violence is as unrelenting as the suspense.
8. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is not your TGIF version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Its aesthetically similar to the Archie Comics title on which its based, embracing the rich Gothic horror atmosphere, but the story veers more into teen drama territory. The result is like a mash-up of Riverdale, The Witch, and Harry Potter. It may take a few episodes to become invested, plus to get used to the distracting shallow depth of field style (which is thankfully used less as the season progresses), but it's eventually rather addicting. The midsection becomes something of a monster-of-the-week series, but it never loses sight of the overall story arc. Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men) is charming as the titular witch, and the main cast also includes Ross Lynch (My Friend Dahmer), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead), Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings), and Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who).
9. Into the Forest
Into the Forest is a post-apocalyptic tale of sorts, but it's a grounded take on the subject matter that largely functions as a drama. Ellen Page (Inception) and Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) star as sisters who live with their father (Callum Keith Rennie, Battlestar Galactica) in a secluded, woodland home. Directed by Patricia Rozema (Mansfield Park), the movie follows the family in their fight for survival in the months after electricity is lost throughout the world. Although it drags in spots, Page, who produced the film after falling in love with Jean Hegland's novel on which it's based, is in top form.
10. In Darkness
In Darkness stars Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) as a blind pianist who hears her upstairs neighbor (Emily Ratajkowski, Gone Girl) get murdered, drawing her into London's seedy underworld, where she meets Ed Skrein (Deadpool) and Joely Richardson (Event Horizon). With shades of Wait Until Dark, the thriller offers some solid suspense and tension, plus superb sound design and cinematography. The setup is gripping, though the plot later becomes too convoluted for its own good. Dormer is fantastic in the lead, and she also produced and co-wrote the script with director Anthony Byrne (Peaky Blinders).
11. Don't Watch This
Don't Watch This is listed on Netflix as a season, but it's simply five unrelated horror shorts, ranging between 2 and 9 minutes in length. There's body horror, killer kids, urban explorers, and Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski parodying American Psycho. In addition to a few clever setups and strong horror set pieces, they boast quality production value, cinematography, and special features (both practical and digital). Shorts usually struggle to find an audience on YouTube, so it's great to see them showcased on a platform as powerful as Netflix.
Bonus: De Palma
De Palma is a documentary on filmmaker Brian De Palma (Carrie, Scarface, Mission: Impossible, Blow Out, Phantom of the Paradise, et al.). The septuagenarian himself - with no other talking heads - discusses and reflects on his oeuvre, going movie by movie (plus a handful of unmade projects) in chronological order, accompanied by clips and stills. Co-directed by Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale) and Jake Paltrow (Young Ones), the candid nature of the interviews prevent the film from feeling like a mere DVD special feature. It moves briskly, leaving you wanting more even at 110 minutes.

LoL Support Champion Stereotypes
Take note that this is bad and is not meant to be taken seriously.
Alistar: This guy lives for the turret dives and making those Flash W Q combos.
Bard: Probably watched Aladdin too many times or just wants to screw someone over: whether it be through his magical journey, ult, or roaming
Braum: Generally a guy who isn't looking to be toxic but just might if you don't follow up his engage.
Blitzcrank: Probably really hates squishy supports or just wants to make the enemy bot lane's life a living hell. Plus they're probably him because Pyke was taken or banned.
Janna: Probably one of the most laziest players you'll ever see. Though agressive one's that poke with W can be irritating.
Karma: These guys love to poke you out of lane and intimidate with the root. Chances are she'll level up her Q in the early game, so try to pick a kill support
Leona: Where do I start? I could go on about how they go ham 24/7, how their overloaded kit of CC, damage, and 10,000 armor/MR make you want to uninstall. Why her W doesn't have a longer cooldown so she can't engage all the time is anyone's guess.
Lulu: There are two types of Lulu players. One group tries to be appropriately aggressive and lose more than half their health for doing so (me), or there are ones that are perfectly aggressive and can manage their mana correctly so they're always prepared. So Lulu's can either make lane a living hell or you'll wish you dodged from all the feeding she did.
Morgana: You love to see your enemies cry as they sit in a 3 second root while they rapidly rightclicj to avoid danger but can't because the root lasts forever.
Nami: This is either a player that's actually nice and plays fair champions or they're one of league's assholes. The latter will use champion emotes when you see them to tilt you.
Nautilus: Chances are they really love bioshock and/or keeping someone in one place for a long time. Ones that duo with Jhin on the other hand kick puppies.
Pyke: Chances are they're an asshole in game and an real life. Seriously, whoever designed this character's kit needs to retake a physics class because a support that's designed to execute is not balanced in the slightest.
Rakan: They're either playing him as some ghetto Leona or only because Xayah's the ADC. They're also probably nice people.
Sona: Sona players like to piss off the enemy in the lane with their stupid Q and an ult that guarentee's death most if the time. Plus they have a heal as a crutch so that's fun.
Soraka: These players only know 5 things, and those are flinging Q all over the place, mashing W on the carry, warding, putting E under the carry, and keeping an eye on everyone's health. Paired with a poke carry like ezreal, she just hates everyone and everything.
Tahm Kench: These guys are either the biggest trolls on the planet, ths most ass-wipe of a person, or really good at sustaining their carry. His tounge taunt is funny enough, but his laugh spam will make you wish emote spam was a reportable offense.
Taric: Probably 'Heya' fans or like the playstyle of a healing tank. That and they live for incoming teamfights with the ult and love that chest
Thresh: Finally I get to talk about the evil King of support. These guys always talk shit in chat, spam their mastery 7 and land hooks like they script. The ones NOT like that though are tolerable, but dealing with Thresh is nevee fun unless you're uninteractive yourself by playing Sivir
Zilean: He probably pairs up with an Aatrox for the never-ending death or thinks his carry isn't smart enough to stay alive. That and BOMB THROWING.
Damage supports: I've decided to clump all the mage supports ("supports"), such as Brand, Velkoz, and Zyra, because they all go as following:
People who play Damage supports are pieces of shit.
Supports are supposed to hold the carry's hand and help the team out with utility, not be some kind of fucking secondary midlaner and ruin the game for bot lane. People who play them are either upset they didn't get a role known for killing, or they're so bad at the game they need to lane with someone else just to do anything but die.
#take these with a grain of salt please#I'm not the best at determining stereotypes like soundsmith is#idea from his tf2 stereotype videos

LEAGUE 30 QUESTIONS:
Did this on my blog when I first transitioned to being League-Only and I wanted to see how much my answers changed. OwO 1) When did I start? July 15th, 2017 (a couple days after Kayn was released). It was a month after I moved in with my boyfriend and he introduced me to it. ♥ 2) The first champ you played? Sona. Well, technically Ashe because back then you weren’t able to choose what champ to try out and you weren’t in the middle lane on summoner’s rift. It was Ashe on howling abyss and they’d recommend building warmogs and thornmail??? I’m so glad they’ve updated the tutorial since I started. 3) My favorite champ to play right now is Nami. I love her w poke, I like her cc, I like her skins, I like spamming her laugh- she’s my fave ♥ 4) Which Champ has the best lore? Kindred because they’re literally death incarnate. 5) My main role: SUPPORT!~ (If you play with me? Sorry but support is my role :3) 6) My weakest role: Jungle for sure. I’ve said this on repeat, I salute to jungle mains. There is so much pressure with being a jungler because:
you gotta worry about jungle pressure
enemy team/jungler invading your jungle
hoping your team rotates when the enemy team invades/ enemy jungler invades
being able to successfully gank lanes and not fall behind the enemy jungler
hoping your team rotates to help you secure objectives
I could go on and on but I’ll leave it there for now. My boyfriend is a top/jungle main and he constantly tells me how, “easy and carefree” jungle is but I don’t think I could ever be good at it. 7) Champ I hate the most: Vladimir. Poor boy needs a visual update but UGH, I HATE HIS HEALING! Literally just takes my morellonomicon and spits on it like, “awwww... that’s cute.” (Fizz is also a stinker.) 8) Favorite Skin: Elementalist Lux/ Dj Sona ♥ 9) Champ I want to learn: Irelia or Fiora. I have skins for both of these champs and I’m more or less okay at Irelia. I think I want to get BETTER at Irelia and learn Fiora (since holy shit she’s so strong). 10) Highest Mastery Points: Lux ♥ 11) Fave Champ in Each Role: Top: Quinn Jng: Evelynn Mid: Lux Adc: Miss Fortune or Sivir Support: Nami 12) What Champ do I want a new skin for? Well... There are a lot of champs that I think would fit into a LOT of skinlines but I’ll only name a few: Coven Syndra Coven Cassiopeia Solar/Lunar Eclipse Kayle Solar/Lunar Eclipse Diana (For an Illaoi enthusiast I know) Pool Party Illaoi 13) Favorite Summoner Spell: Exhaust. All you fast assassin bitches can suck my DICK! 14) Champ you hate to face: BLITZ OR THRESH! Please revert Blitz hook range (also lollipopping hooks to my champion SUCKS) 15) Flash on D or F? D, duh. 16) Favorite Quote: Lux, "The superior tactic is to never give up." 17) Champ I would cosplay: ALL OF MY GIRLS: Lux, Nami, Morgana, Neeko, Janna, Sona, Lulu, Kayle, Evelynn, Elise, Syndra, Cass, Miss Fortune, Kai’sa, Xayah, Leblanc- Literally any female champ. 18) Favorite Item: Ludens (tied with Ardent) 18b) Most hated item: b.o.r.k 19) Ever gotten a ban? Nope~ ♥ Not even a chat restriction :> 20) How many skins do you own? 138 20b) How many champions? 94 21) Most banned champ? In urf it was Lucian. In normal league it’s probably a 4 way tie between thresh, blitz, yasuo, and yi. 22) Champ I had my first penta with? Sona 23) Favorite Keystone? Domination 24) Favorite Emote? Nami UWU 25) Toxic? On voice sometimes but never in chat Easy to Tilt? ...maybe Chill? I like to think so xD Guess I’m a mixture of all 3. 26) Solo or Premades? PREMADES. I never play alone. 27) Ranked, Normal or Aram? ARAM ALL THE WAY. 28) Highest Elo I ever reached? Silver 2 (I dont really play ranked- too toxic.) Elo atm: Bronze 2 (I’ve been taking a break from league. Been mainly playing wow with occasional urf games inbetween. BUT YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS IM GONNA BE BACK WHEN NEXUS BLITZ COMES BACK AROUND, YES MA’AM!) 29) Have you ever uninstalled? Out of rage- nah. I think I thought about it before after getting into heated arguments with my boyfriend when both playing together but I never did. I did have to uninstall and then reinstall because a “file was corrupted.” 30) Would I ever quit League? I dont think I’ll fully ever quit (I dont want to) but I’ve been taking more breaks from it and it’s been pretty relaxing and easier on my anxiety. I’ve had a dispute with someone in the group I usually play with so I don’t really mind playing wow or something else while they’re there. (We also have a bunch of people in the discord that we’re in and a lot of people play league, so I also dont mind giving up my spot so someone else can play.) Take the League 30 questions quiz!!!~ ♥

Leona! :D
send me a champion and I’ll tell you | still accepting!how much I like them (0-10): 8 because while I love love love playing her, her lore is a little frustrating to me. I prefer her old lore. Originally I couldn’t play her worth anything because I kept overestimating her tankiness and over-engaging because I’d get bored, then suddenly it just clicked!mastery level: 7. mastery points: 94,248favorite skin: PROJECT. I am a sucker for robots.worst/weakest skin: Defender? It looks clunky.favorite quote: “I will protect you.” It’s not super fancy but a promise of protection is nice. I would melt if someone said that to me - and then be very worried what they thought I needed protecting from.if I like to play against this champ: Not at all. She practically forces me to have to go Morgana or Lulu as a supp to deal with her! And if I’m the adc, farming is so stressful.any ships?: Old lore, Leona/Diana. New lore, noooo clue.

I LOVE her lavender pigtails on the classic Battle Regalia. IT’S JUST WAY TOO GOOD. I would then say that Blacksmith is my second favorite.worst/weakest skin: I fucking hate Scarlet Hammer Poppy with a God damn passion, it just takes away from her adorable face and the colors are fucking putrid.favorite quote: ALL OF THEM. PRACTICALLY ALL OF THEM. “You are definitely not the hero!” “This guy seems nice! ... I feel bad about killin’ him.” “If you’re waiting for me to give up, you might be here awhile!” AND MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE... “I don’t get yordles, too fluffy!”if I like to play against this champ: Well, not if they stole the champion from me and picked her before I could... but if I’m playing another champion in another lane, or we’re BOTH playing Poppy? I can counter her 4 ways to Sunday - I KNOW my main, I can predict when she’s gonna E, when she’s gonna throw up her W... I fucking LOVE playing against a Poppy that I can easily predict and fuck up.any ships?: LMAOOOO. I love Poppy/Rumble dude. I also love Poppy/Tristana, and Poppy/Lulu as friends.]

Final Project Mastery Post
I feel like I had learned only a few things during my time studying this Masters degree in Entertainment Business. Starting with the Mastery class, I really enjoyed the book offered, but other than that, the course was relatively simple and straight-forward, much like the rest of the program. In the following month, I was able to start a log using Evernote for class notes, ideas, and bookmarked websites.
However, because of the intense scheduling of this degree, I was not able to do any Lynda.com tutorials or explore the campus’ Writing Center. Instead, I ended up creating an account with Grammarly and got tips for improving my writing right away. Fortunately, I did find some great online APA resources, like Project APA and APA Style Blog.
In Month 2, I went through Executive Leadership. I was able to identify and improve my leadership style by the instructor’s video clips on YouTube. In one of the discussion posts, I was able to determine ways to better utilize the decision-making process. However, I decided that leadership is not something I have any interest in.
For Month 3’s course Project and Team Management, I had already known the basics of project management from previous job experiences. I was not sure which project I should start this degree off with, so I had worked on budgets for a smaller business project idea instead of on a larger scale. Unfortunately, I did not gain much information on how to motivate a team to accomplish project goals. Perhaps, this is for a more advanced course.
In Month 4, things started to turn around as far as what project I should choose for the remainder of the degree. In Business Storytelling and Brand Development, I was able to think of ways to start creating an online business with a solid brand. I was not able to write better to tell a business’ story, but I did create the first drafts of my company’s mission statement.
I took Entertainment Business Finance in Month 5, and my hopes were to pass this course fairly easily. However, I took that for granted as I did not. I also did not get too much of an understanding when it comes to fundraising, developing financial projections for various businesses, or necessary capital management and operations expense management.
I was very confused by the requirements on a couple of the assignments, and over time, I saw why. However, I immediately discovered that if I were to be successful in this degree, it would have to be on whatever I can figure out with the resources I am given. This course was a disappointment in that I did not gain the education I was expecting for financial steps or realistic monetary scenarios for even smaller businesses or projects.
In Month 6, my schedule had me taking Digital Marketing. Here, I developed a marketing plan for business created in Month 4. I also learned tips for digital and traditional marketing strategies. In turn, this helped me understand how to develop a stronger online presence for a business.
Next, I started the Negotiation and Deal-Making course for Month 7. For this class, I learned basic deal structuring and preparation, essential negotiation and deal-making skills, and contracts creation skills. I really enjoyed the assignments in this course as there was a lot of variety in their content. For example, the online training was more realistic than I gave it credit for.
For Month 8, I was delightfully surprised with the Product and Artist Management course. Throughout the whole month, I identified management issues for artist management and tips on how to avoid and resolve them. I also learned how to connect a product to an artist, and brainstormed on new products for artists. Unfortunately, I was not able to network with a local artist this month.
In Month 9, I knew the Advanced Entertainment Law was either going to be comfortable or enjoyable for me. Thankfully, it was both! I had come into this course knowing a fair amount of basic entertainment law concepts, so it was nice to be able to get validation on the information I had picked up. However, I was able to pick up some ways on how to protect intellectual property. Also, looking into the various insurance policies that exist for this kind of protection was helpful to me, as well.
Month 10’s course for Entertainment Media Publishing and Distribution was wonderful! Not only was the information broken down appropriately, but I ended up with a ton of bookmarks of websites that I am excited to explore more after graduation. This month, I was able to improve upon digital publishing knowledge, as well as my understanding of the various digital publishing models. Sadly, I was not able to network with a distribution company as I had hoped, but I now know about Lulu and CreateSpace.
For the Business Plan Development course, I could not believe that this was Month 11 already. I also was thinking this class was going to be a lot harder than it was. After the first assignment, it clicked: All I am doing here is compiling all the work I did in the past eight months of class. Although I did manage to research some extra materials I needed for a possible business plan. The feedback I received on my first business plan draft was extremely helpful.
Finally, we have come to Month 12, where I am currently in the Final Project: Business Plan course. Expectedly, I refined my business plan created in the previous month. I thought I was going to eventually present this business plan to my peers, but thankfully, I did not. Unfortunately, too, I did not create a visually appealing and engaging presentation of my business plan as I had hoped, but it was enough to get by.
With this above timeline of monthly goals for all twelve of my courses in Full Sail’s EBMS program, I would say that I easily met most of my goals. Month after month, I got better at understanding how to pass the class, mostly because the concepts were not a challenge for me. If I had more time throughout the months, I think I would have taken advantage of doing a more thorough job on some of the assignments, watched Lynda.com tutorials, and maybe even do some of the tasks again for more practice. If you want to read the individual month’s feedback in more details, feel free to review my previous eleven posts.
