I know we are a long way from an actual relationship between Tim & Lucy.

However, I look forward to the days when Tim is unbelievably sweet to her - bringing her flowers, grabbing her favorite wine or ice cream at the store, finding some small tchotchkes throughout his day that makes him think of her and smile.

Lucy will shoot sunshine, love and heart eyes back at him and call him some silly term of affection in return.

God I just LOVE the way Brennan honors nat 20 rolls. It's not always like "oh well by SOME miracle 🙄 you do this thing", it's like, "Ricky would normally be BAFFLED by all these gears and knobs, but here's the thing, Ricky who is obsessed with safety of COURSE took an elective class about subway operation just in case he was ever in a runaway subway train." Just, the way he makes it so character focused and in a split second gives something so honest and true to the character and the story is just *chef's kiss* perfection.

okay okay okay but possessive-protective Tsukishima in their third year over all friends, not just Yamaguchi anymore. He's too cool. He's aloof. He's a smartass. He hears a rival team talking shit about Hinata's height and goes the fuck OFF on them. Kids start mocking Kageyama and trying to rile him up for his past shit and Tsukishima appears like a wraith to tear them apart. Are Hinata and Kageyama capable of taking care of themselves? honestly, probably. Will that stop Tsukki from literally standing between them and whatever is threatening them? absolutely not. Tsukki doesn't spare kind words for them, he doesnt invite them over and he doesn't call them his friends but the first and and only time a new-to-town bully tries to flip up Yachi's skirt he turns around and punches him so hard he hits the ground. None of them had ever seen him use anything except for his wit and tongue to attack before but when asked about it he just scoffs and rolls his eyes at them and tells them to leave him alone. They all start to understand Yamaguchi a little bit better.

shoutout to taigen for being the most expressive character in the entire show.

you will never not know whatever the hell he is feeling or thinking at the moment because he will literally tell you (either very earnestly like when he traumadumps to mizu or very sarcastically which is the other 99% of the time he talks to mizu) or you will see it plain as day on his face.

this is the textbook definition of a man wearing his heart on his sleeve. look in the dictionary for what a "simple man" means and you will find taigen's face there.

like once you cut through the massive ego and pompousness he uses to mask his own insecurities and traumas, he is literally just some guy. he's not evil or stupid. not super kind or super smart either. an asshole but not the worst there is. he's incredibly skilled but he's not the strongest ever or even the most skilled. he is literally! just a guy!

y'all can hate him all you want but let's be real, taigen is actually the most relatable character out of everyone. like this man is POOR, he is PATHETIC, he is COMPLAINING ALL THE TIME, and most of all he is OBSESSED WITH MIZU. if that shit ain't relatable idk what is.
