i looove starting new rhythm games and seeing how fast i get used to them...

downloaded arcaea because of one (1) song that of course turned out to be something i need to buy but. holy shit the sky notes. i'm afraid of them. but the monetization here is much friendlier than in cytus so i might... buy... just this one song... <-dangerous slippery slope

i also tried out proseka again because it's similar and immediately remembered why i didn't like it when i first tried out. i just want to play the game bro... stop showing me 600 screens and gacha and story and daily login. also the entire idol system and my ranks based on them like hello? 😭 i keep getting C's and even when i full combod a song, the game tells me i didn't.......ok.........

Mastergame is on Netflix!!! Not sure in which regions, but if it is available where you are, go see it now! It is available with Hungarian audio and English subs.

Netflix has it marked as Psychological + Suspenseful (it also has a 16+ PG rating), which is fine, I guess, just like the summary: "Escaping by train after the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956, two lovers discover their fate may rest on a high-stakes chess match."

BUT!

Believe me when I tell you this can NOT prepare you for this movie. I cannot tell you what other movies it reminds me because you don't want this spoiled. I watched it 3 times in theatres when it was released, and I NEED to watch it frame by frame. I need to EAT IT.

It is built up so well. The cinematography is gorgeous. But not just gorgeous: Pictures happen for a reason. Framing happens for a reason. Sentences happen for a reason. Every frame and every sentence is in place. The editing. The storytelling. The twists. The characters. The humour. Auauauauuafsdkgnydfl. (I'm not exactly happy with acting on part of the girl, but this is the worst thing I can say about this movie.)

I'm so excited that I can FINALLY watch it again.

Another freaky monster from the 90's spanish market : The Mastergames NEVIR NVR-VI... It's a Pal-B NES/Famicom-clone that plays 60 and 72 pins cartridges. The whole thing is fitted in an Atari 7800 grey shell and the controllers are GX4000 rip-offs (with turbo buttons). I was “lucky” enough to get my Discord username without needing to add any numbers or symbols to it, but now I’m getting friend requests from randos with the same username - presumably to ask for my suddenly “clean” account, and confirmed by other Discord friends in the same situation.

I probably would have added an extra adjective if I knew this would happen but all things considered I must be really lucky compared to whichever users snagged more common usernames like “MasterGamer” or something.
