Who is Koukawa Asuka, the Steel Taimanin?

"Koukawa Asuka, reporting in! Fufu, was it really necessary, between you and me?"

Now, in my last writeup, I told you guys that the Koukawa ninja clan was ddestroyed by Nomad forces led by Edwin Black, right? well, the destruction wasn’t entirely thorough, because Asuka was spared by Edwin Black (he was in a generous mood that day) and brought back to Gosha, where Asagi took her in as a daughter and student. Asuka was considered a very promising taimanin and even took part in soem missions accompanied by her mentor, and then, when she was 14, she decided that she was strong enough and, against Asagi’s warnings, set out to attack and kill Black on her own for what he did.

She lost, or rather, she was completely destroyed by the Vampire King, losing all four of her limbs, and would have been left to bleed out and die here and there if the Masked Taimanin hadn’t rescued her, taking her to UFS facilities where her life was saved. her lost limbs were replaced with highly advanced prosthetics, and she started working for UFS as part of their own anti-demon division, directly under the orders of the Masked Taimanin and taking on various missiosn around the globe.

Personality-wise, she is a bit of a “gal”, being generally cheerful, bubbly and playful, even occasionaly childish at times when she’s having fun, preferring to focus on the postiive aspects of her life. While she often plays up her “gal” personality to hide how clever she can be, she is still impatient, upbeat and cofident (sometimes overly confident) as a whole. She does, however, become serious when thinking about her life and the family she lost, and her desire for vengeance against Edwin Black has not diminished in the slightest in the years since. Her relationship with Asagi is strained, wantign to prove herself to her.

In battle her Ninja Art is “Wind God” Art and, as the name implies, it gives her control over air, giving her great speed and agility, even beign able to fire blades of winds. Her four limbs are outfitted with bladed prosthetics, making her fight with both her arms and legs.
