Some more supplementary material for the Frat Boy! Au, this time starring blorbo of the hour: Kento Nanami

Because he’s been heavy on my mind. Starting with his basic info!

Nanami grew up very middle class, not as poor as Suguru or Ryomen, but nowhere near as well off as Satoru.

He’s a business major not because he wants to, but because he feels he has too. If he had it his way, he would be a culinary student. But according to his father, there's no money in being a line cook, so accounting it is. 

Still, he hopes to use his degree to open his own restaurant one day. His father would never approve of a line cook for a son, but maybe Nanami could sell him on a business owner for a son. 

He says the main reason he joined the ABO frat was to try and make business connections, he knew that some people would hire one applicant over another just because they were alumni of the same fraternity. In reality though, he’d have more room in the frat and unlimited access to the kitchen. 

His room is full of plants. Plants of all kinds everywhere, including some herbs. It used to kinda annoy Ryomen (his roommate) but, he’s grown to actually kinda appreciate it. It makes the room feel less dead. 

Phenomenal cook who can not bake to save his life. Cooking is an art but baking is a science and somewhere along the way he fucks it up every time. Be it mixing the batter too much or too little, not letting it sit long enough or letting it sit too long- he doesn't know. He can handle box cake mix that’s about it. 

Now if you want a steak cooked to perfection with perfectly roasted veggies and the creamiest mashed potatoes you've ever put in your mouth on the side he’s you’re guy. If you want an authentic lasagna with homemade everything including the noodles and sauce, he can do that for you. Do not ask him to make bread. 

He’s also insanely good at fighting games. Every version of Nanami in my heart is a God when it comes to fighting games, there is not a universe in which Nanami exists where he doesn’t dominate at Tekken, argue with the wall if you don’t agree.

Adding to that, he’s also in love with D&D. He’s a forever DM that spends hours of time planning campaigns, hours he should be spending on his school work but shhhh. If you really want to make him swoon, offer to let him be a player in a campaign. He’d pull out a ring on the spot. 

That being said, I think it’s time to get into some relationship headcanons ;)

HE’S A TSUNDERE! Look at that man, he has such big Tsundere energy.

Out of all his frat brothers, Nanami is probably the one that gets laid the least. Not from a lack of opportunity, nay nay, women (and men) throw themselves at him all the time. He’s just picky and not a fan of being touched by stragers. 

You though? You’re different (of course you are, you’re the main character!) The two of you really started to click after you had to work on a pretty big project together. Little things you did softened his heart for you.

Small things like asking him more about his D&D campaign plans, excitedly showing him pictures of the plants that you kept in your dorm, and offering to help him out in the kitchen. Little moments of quality time and tenderness while you were working on this project together nurtured his small crush into full blown butterflies when you were around.

He finally admitted to himself he was in love with you when you beat him in Street Fighter. He wasn’t used to losing at fighting games. You bragged about using his tips against him (you listened to what he said) and laughed about the weeks you spent training to destroy him (otherwise known as taking a genuine interest in his hobbies.) 

He asked you out on a date that night and you were taken completely off guard! You had no idea the fool even liked you! He was cold on the best of days, spending more time scowling at his notebooks than listening to what you said (or so you thought.) He never contacted you unless it was in regards to your project, and most of the time you spent hanging out outside of it was just because you had become friends with his frat brothers and happened to be at the house. You mean he liked you?! 

Of course you said yes, if for no other reason than to see where the hell this goes. You were 40% sure it was a prank, but hey- a free meal was a free meal. It helped he was hot as hell, what was the harm in one date?

You saw a whole new side of Kento Nanami that night. He was warm and attentive, and fucking hilarious when he wasn’t just keeping all of his jokes to himself. 

It was a simple date. A moonlit picnic in the nearby park, one where he brought his laptop and used his phone hotspot so the two of you could watch movies together. 

That was the night when you found out Kento Nanami considered himself to be a hopeless romantic. 

When he took you back to your dorm, he walked you to the door and actually asked if he could kiss you goodnight. 

And now you’re both smitten! 

Once you’re officially his girlfriend, You’re gonna find out he’s genuinely pretty chill. Happy to give you your space and recognize you’re a person outside of your relationship. That being said, let some asshole start getting a little too comfortable with you at a part and he’s quick to throw hands.

You would think nerdy little Nanami wasn’t that good in a fight, but nay nay, he was forced to play football in highschool and will leave a bastard concussed. 

He says he’s not a cuddler, but every time you sleep in his bed you wake up with him cuddled close to you. 

Nanami loves kisses, and is always planting them on you when you’re in kissing range. Your lips, cheeks, forehead, everything is fair game. 

You’re the only person in the world other than like, his parents that can call him Kento. He’s always gone by his last name, to the point that his first name makes him feel like he’s in trouble. Only authority figures use it when they’re pissed off at him. But it hits him different when it comes from your lips. When you say it, it feels tender and intimate. It’s the closest he gets to liking his name.

He always tries to make time for you and your relationship. Even if that sometimes means that your date nights are just study dates, he always strives to make you feel like a priority. 

He’s a soft guy that falls in love easily. You may not know it yet, but he has full intentions to marry you after graduation. A fact his frat brothers are quick to tease him about, while also making him promise to make them groomsmen.

Dare You to Death - joongdunk: it's....crowded? there's a lot going on, and it feels kind of like they mashed together two separate ideas they had for shows? but I love shows with guns because I get to kill people in my fics so LMAO!! also joongdunk are cool

Head 2 Head - seakeen and surfjava: deeply ambivalent to the actors and I've never seen them before, the plotline seems fine enough but not really my kind of thing? kind of a weird enemies to lovers I think

Burnout Syndrome - offgun + gundew(?): fascinating stuff happening here!! however. unfortunately. I don't really care. offgun are not my thing and the plot doesn't really intrigue me, it just feels dark and edgy in a way that's not my style. gun in black lipstick was something though!!

Only Friends season 2 - earthmix, ohmleng and jossgawin: INSANE. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this one because (glances at season 1)......theatre kids only friends is incredibly funny though

That Summer - winnysatang, mondryu and neomint: WINNYSATANG MAINS YAY!!! the more amnesia, but it looks interestingly done at least, and it's a jojo show and I trust him. tang being a prince is... this drama has the space to either become overdramatic fanfic or really really good and I'm desperately hoping for the latter. tang's chara is an amnesiac prince. I get to write ballroom dancing scenes. I win. mond kisses a guy which is awesome, neomint is a thing and I am deeply ambivalent to mint

Cat for Cash - firstkhao: this is just firstkhao get paid to flirt and play with cats the series, and honestly good for them!! a little supernatural element ie first can hear cats' thoughts, which I'm curious where that will go? but overall very low stakes show, seems like the kind of thing I'd binge in a day. firstkhao are fun. I hope people are capable of being normal about a low stakes show heart emoji. I personally think it's a chill watch but I'm not bouncing off walls excited. first is handsome though

Girl Rules - namtanfilm, milklove, viewmin: high heat messy drama shows I prefer to watch in gifs and skipped around eps, but we love messy lesbian representation always!! view plays a straight (soon to figure out she's not so straight) girl which I think is kind of funny. I hope they make out a lot

Boys in Love - papangpodd, lukemick, astonchokun: hello there, obligatory gmmtv high school show! I'm pretty happy with this one, because the actors are all actually young I'm pretty sure and they're all new so it's a nice start for them, very classic. I don't know any of them. papangpodd are there, and as soon as papang appeared I started crying loud and violent tears because I am deeply and unambiguously in love with him. I hope he commits hr violations on school grounds

My Magic Prophecy - jimmysea, teefranc: it's a doctor x psychic, and it feels like a vice versa but not really. the trailer was kind of boring in the sense of composition and scene choices and such. forced proximity trope, which I sometimes do not really like so this one is on thin ice. no idea who the side pairing are yay

A Dog and A Plane - taynew, marcpoon: banger cast!! I haven't seen taynew in anything yet I don't think? but I've heard good things? marc is my beloved, of course. the plot is incredibly interesting at first look, though the cheating thread kind of bothers me? whether it will win out over my enjoyment of the rest of the trailer is yet to be decided. judgement's still out on this one

Me and Thee - pondphuwin, perthsanta: overdramatic spoiled rich kid pond who is obsessed with lakorns x photographer phuwin. incredibly hilarious dynamic. I enjoy pondphuwin, and I enjoy rich kids who grow. seems interesting for sure

Wu - skynani (bl or bromance? unclear): they really looked at the skynani popularity, said bet filmed one (1) scene and stuck it in the lineup. good for them! I hope they kiss! there's golden thread of fate involved, which is fun. I don't want to watch if it's bromance though, my backlog yearns to be freed as is

hmm. great question. how do i put this in words. i really like the feeling of taking two different concepts (dca and doctor who) and mashing them together to make something completely new. obvious, considering i'll already done this before (batim and doctor who lol). i like taking roles from the show and considering what character would fit best, and/or what changes would have to be made to them so that they fit that spot. like... the original reason i put Moon as the Doctor and Sun as the Master is because of their names. the sun is the center of the solar system. the moon revolves around the earth. and then as i considered all the lore of doctor who and poured it into those two molds, two completely new characters formed right before my eyes. what would have to happen for Sun to act like that? why does Moon do this? how do i make these characters something new by using inspiration from doctor who and still paying homage to them in fnaf sb? it's a magical feeling. i mean, i get that feeling anytime i make an au. making my own silly versions of the blorbos, y'know. but having an idea based on something that already exists means there's that much more for me to play with. i dunno if any of that made sense i just started rambling. i love my dca who au so much <3

DCA Who AU: Favorite colors! Moon's is light blue. Sun's is red. Bonnie's is dark blue. Freddy's is orange. Roxanne's is green. Chica's is pink. Monty doesn't care.

No Copypastas in the Daycare: Moon doesn't like glitter. it's messy and gets everywhere and is so very difficult to clean up. there's always at least one speck of it on them at any point no matter his efforts to the contrary. but he loves Sun more than he dislikes glitter, so in the end he supposes it doesn't matter all that much.

Re #196, I salute you, all proud villainfuckers. You are the real ones. Izzy is not my cup of tea, but like- Magneto is one of my terrible blorbos. We are the same.

This might be the opposite of a hot take, but the thing I enjoy about Izzy as a character and as an antagonist is he is basically just a fusion of two very common character types in stories about fame: 1) the emotionally abusive and manipulative celebrity manager/royal family member/stage mom who constantly guilts and pressures the celebrity/prince/popstar/etc to keep performing/stick to a persona/stay super thin and hot/stay closeted even though it's making them spiral into addiction/depression/eating disorder/etc for the sake of money, power and the brand by playing on their guilt, insecurities, feelings of obligation, and past trauma and 2) the obsessed fan who cannot separate the persona from the real person because they fell in "love" with a performance and escalates to harassment/stalking/threatening/violence to try to get the real person to perform the persona if they deviate from it.

I don't know that I've ever seen those mashed together before (though I'm sure does exist), and it makes for an interesting twist on an antagonist story that's been done a million times and honestly makes it seem more emotionally realistic, with the added layer of Izzy in S1 being one of the true believers in/enforcers of piracy's culture of abuse and toxic masculinity, when most of the other characters on the show are pretty ready to leave that behind as soon as they are offered the option. I honestly think this is why we didn't necessarily get explicit confirmation that Izzy had been bullying Ed into staying Blackbeard until his death scene- that backstory is already baked into the character type and by starting us off with seeing Izzy shit-talking Ed to the crew and then turning around and telling Ed he 'massages the crew when they're worried about his judgement', we're just meant to kind of understand that's what's been going on. I feel like the S2 resolution needed some more time, but I thought they did a decent job wrapping that up. Shout out to the OFMD writers- they do unbelievable storytelling on a half-hour comedy.

imo, the thing that makes smut in fanfic bad, is not that it doesn't engage with ~the themes~ and ~the motifs~ and not even that it sometimes explicitly contradicts the canon. if i can't make porn for porn's sake - because i want to / because i'm horny / because i want to imagine what an inconveniently large dick would do to my blorbo du jour - then i don't care for any other justifications around porn existing either.

what does make written porn bad are the same things that make regular, mainstream porn bad* - same stuff everywhere. this ship is like this other ship is like this other ship. this character is like this character is like this other character. they all sound the same during sex, just the same way all the exaggerated vocalizations you hear in typical porn vids sound the same. the problem isn't even in and of itself that those vocalizations are exaggerated, it's that they're the same in everything. it's being told that sex happens this one way. nevermind all the ethical and societal issues that causes, that's not what this post is about, my problem is that when all porn is the same - it's boring as all hell.

and sure, some of the problems with 'contradicts the canon' and 'where are the themes??? the motifs???' are symptoms of this homogenization of porn. and fanfiction is not the only place you see this phenomenon - it happens all the time in the pulp erotica industry. it's like there's a die being rolled with different porny phrases on it and whatever is rolled is mashed together to create something, and it all tastes the same.

and look! that doesn't mean you can't write the same trope a thousand times, a thousand creative ways (although I would venture a guess that that's probably pretty boring too - unless you're doing it for money, then sure). popular stuff is popular for a reason.

i just wanted to talk a bit about "good smut" vs "bad smut" and why character study isn't necessary to create the former, and why i think when people say "bad smut" what they really mean is "the same old, tired smut across multiple fandoms with just the names of the two white guys switched up"

*with the exception of the exploitation of porn actors (particularly women, and above all, racialized trans women) - although i want to be clear that if there was a mainstream written porn market, i do not think it would take long for workers to be exploited in that realm either, as they are in the existing publishing industry.

Finished watching Andor finally

Good show. I enjoyed it and look forward to season two.

Yet the only fic I might ever write for this series would be to mash these two's faces together.

I mean, think of the dysfunction!

Syril would throw himself on a grenade for her. He worships her. He would do anything for her... except maybe betray the Empire.

So naturally I'd put him in a position where he'd have to choose between the Empire and his beloved wrathful angel Dedra, who regularly treats him like garbage but he takes it because it's her garbage.

And Dedra? This bitch on wheels?

She loves Syril.

She hates that she loves him. She hates that he's a chink in her armor. If anyone finds out they're fucking, her career (and possibly her life) is over.

(People already know despite the obfuscation these twisted lovebirds set up. Dedra's enemies are quietly adding to their respective piles of dirt on her. They don't work together, which is good for the twisted lovebirds.)

So Dedra treats Syril like crap, which would drive any self-respecting person away, but not Syril. He's well acquainted with being treated like crap. He works harder, cherishing every crumb of affection Dedra lets slip. He'll prove himself to her and to the Empire.

Together they'll find Cassian Andor, truss him up, and present him to the Emperor personally. They'll be lauded for the heroes they are!

It would be tempting to write it as a very dark comedy.

No plans to actually write it, though, since I have other blorbos in situations already. But it was fun to think about.

as someone who has terrible anxiety and is also terrible abt speaking abt it .. i cant help but imagine being with satosugu and how good they'll be with it.. :( satoru usually is characterized as being callous and rash (and sometimes insensitive) but i think he knows when he needs to be gentle :/ especially after being with suguru...

now.. suguru :( as someone who's also .. kinda the type to clam up when dealing with stuff he'll definitely know. he'll give hugs and kind words without ever having to ask for it.. personally i think satoru would be more the type to cuddle you or go out of his way to get you food or whatever he knows will help get things off your mind

they'll both immediately know when something is off :( you'll end up huddled together after eating the food suguru made and the desserts satoru bought!! it'd be so nice.. all wrapped up in a blanket while they both stay with you until you feel better and are able to fall asleep.. :((

BUT YES I AGREE …. on every part!!!! gojo can absolutely be rash but honestly i do think that part of him is a LOT more present w his teenage self. i feel like that stage of him gets mashed together with his adult version a lot in fanon… but i see adult gojo as being a Lot more emotionally stable lol. he for sure knows when to be gentle!!! he’s a little awkward with it maybe but i think it fades away into something tender :’3 just. him rubbing your back and cooing reassurances into your ear. i feel like his presence is very very grounding…. you could be on the brink of a panic attack and just a squeeze of his hand gets your breathing to calm down a little.

AND SUGURU . our beloved . i really agree anon….. i’ll die on the hill that he’s one of the best jjk blorbos when it comes to dealing w mental disorders that his s/o may have . because he really would be able to relate i think …. he knows he can’t Understand what you’re going through entirely but he’s so empathetic that he still ends up coming very very close. he gets it !!! and i think he’s also a very grounding presence ….. better than satoru in some ways bc . he has more Experience . he knows that you’ll feel better if he makes you eat a meal and drink water and take a shower … etcetc. this is kinda off-topic / kinda not, but he’s for sure the type of bf to make you take vitamin supplements every day 💀 even if you’re not deficient. he just really cares about your health !!!

1. Are you a VtM player, storyteller, both or neither? If neither, how do you get your VtM fix?

I'm ol' Relleytrots! Been a forever Storyteller since my teens, in accordance with Stevy's First Law of Roleplaying - whoever has the idea will end up doing all the work. I'm usually the one advocating for giving this game a try, as well as the one who already has the books, and also I enjoy it. Not that I haven't enjoyed kicking back under the supervision of @pathogenic and @mxviatrix in the last few years, but that's a whole new thing for me, really.

7. What is your favourite discipline? Why?

In V5, it's Oblivion. Oblivion takes my two favourites from classic original recipe Vampire and melds them together, reaching deep down into the aesthetic and concept of the Abyss and saying - what if, right, what if it was all actually the one thing? I am vaguely aware that the thing the Lasombra Antediluvian sank down into and became one with and the thing underneath Stygia that all the wraiths are terrified of and the thing at the centre of the Black Spiral are not ackshuwally the same thing, but they feel like they could be. And if I get to mash up cool shadow powers and funky entropy powers and yer actual necromancy and make some of my beloved characters kiss about it - great.

Too many goddamn powers, though. And too many arbitrary, silly prerequisites as a clunky way to keep Ceremonies away from the Lasombra.

14. Who is the (in character) oldest and the (in character) youngest? Would they like each other?

The oldest is Lamorne - pre-Christian Cornish warlord Embraced in ol' Byzantium. The youngest is Sorcha - born in the year 2000. They have met, sort of, nominally, in Sorcha's near-death experiences. Insofar as they can get on, they do. Lamorne is very invested in her continued survival and prosperity. Sorcha is fascinated by their oldest "living" ancestor, the other end of the bloodline and the ancient Prince of Glasgow.

19. Which character is least spoken about? Speak about them now!

Kind of did, just then! Drustanus of Lamorna, Sir Tristan Prince of Glasgow, Lamorne of the Obsidian Mask. The forbidden blorbo. Methuselae are tricky creatures, not really something I like to overdetail or overexpose. I like them as a vague and distant influence on modern age games... but I've given into temptation a couple of times now, because what's the point of having an idea if you never use it?

God forbid I ever run a Dark Ages game set in Glasgow, because Sir Tristan will be right there, low-key regretting that his pre-torpor confessional has become the stuff of chivalric legend, and high-key leaning into it because the Lord has handed him this bounty.

#1, 2, 13 and 27 for the fic writers' asks, if you please!

1 - What inspired you to start writing fanfiction?

been daydreaming about putting fictional characters in Scenarios as long as i can remember and always liked creative writing. it was just kinda inevitable.

2 - How do you come up with your plot ideas?

the three main causes are usually 1 - offshoot of another au(s), 2 - i did/experienced a thing what if the blorbos did as well, 3 - i like a thing lets put blorbos in it, 4 - what if this guy just had a really fucking bad time.

point 1 more often leads to little offshoots i keep to myself but sometimes they become their own thing like netherborne coming from a blend of firstborn and snake oil. point 2 usually leads more to individual scenes than whole fics but all of my videogame-based aus and most crossovers fall into that. point 3 is where all the centaur aus and westerns come from because i just like centaurs and westerns. point 4 is the most common. i will forever be finding new ways to give blorbos the worst possible time.

13 - What's the most challenging aspect of writing fanfiction for you?

if theres a character i just Dont Get. if i feel like i understand a character well writing them is lovely but if i dont its like pulling teeth. recently i had to rewatch nimona and literally take notes on a certain character because not getting them was making writing my big bang fic so fucking hard

27 - What two (or more) fandoms would you like to see a crossover for? Would you ever write it?

it occured to me recently that nimona and cult of the lamb would probably mesh quite well - im definately not the first person to say theres some religion-y Themes in the film and i keep meaning to explore the theology of cotl. as for whether id write it, im not sure how id feel about having both a nimona and beetlejuice au for the same game. just looking at it surface-level, i feel like the characters of beetlejuice map across to the game better but nimona is more of a theme match, and id say im more of a character-driven writer, so id probably stick with the beetlejuice au.

i also want to cross either nimona or beetlejuice with dredge since ive been playing that recently (point 2 of question 2 in practice here) but im undecided as to which. it basically boils down to beetlejuice makes more sense as an eldrich ocean horror but i prefer nimona as a character, and ballister makes more sense as a lonely fisherman facing the Horrors but i prefer lydia. the thing is tho is that this is fanfiction and things making sense got thrown out the window at the start, and i am starting to think the conclusion here is to mash all three together into an ocean-y mess.

1 . How did you get into writing fanfiction?

i've always thought up little scenarios in my head for whstever blorbos i was obsessed with, but actually writing it down didn't happen until i was in college! i joined a new fandom at the time (miraculous ladybug) and was so inspired by all the art and fic other people were making that i started writing fanfic (and drawing fanart!) in earnest :>

2. How many fandoms have you written in?

according to ao3, 12. but i have a lot of unfinished or unposted works from other fandoms, so the number is even higher than that though i'm not sure by how much

3. How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

since the tail-end of 2015! so almost 9 years!

4. Do you read or write more fanfiction?

i write more than i read these days, but i'd love to get into reading more fanfic again sometime

5. What is one way you’ve improved as a writer?

6. What’s the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

i don't usually research things for my fanfics i just wing it

7. What’s your favorite type of comment to receive on your work?

comments where the reader says that they come back to reread the fic every now and again 🥺🥺 i've only received a couple of comments that are like that in my time writing, but they're the ones i love the most. just so sweet ooogh

8. What’s the most fringe trope/topic you write about

well i havent done it in years. i don't know if it still exists somewhere here on the internet, but there was a donkey x shrek fic, once upon a time......... other than that, my fucles fic from like 2016/2017 whenever that was. so i guess you could say i love taking a Weird Ship(tm) and writing deeply unserious fic about it

9. What is the hardest type of story for you to write?

smut for me too! i have so many wips that include smut scenes that are all stuck right at the smut parts because i can't write it for the life of me. it feels so stiff and choppy and unnatural and too-detailed. but im working on it! :3

10. What is the easiest type?

i love expanding on canon. for example in astoria there's a throw-away comment about mc having what's implied to be a sex dream! so a fic i'm working on is The Dream(tm). i love filling in the missing peices! that, or i love love LOVE writing what-if fics. what if sydney was strigoi and adrian chased after her. what if alya was ladybug and in love with marinette. what if mc replaced a goddess against her will. i like exploring every potentiality and possibility!

11. Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?

in my bed if i'm at home, otherwise wherever i am on my phone. i write in tumblr drafts. terrible habit, i know, but alas. whenever i have the time and motivation lol.

12. What is something you’ve been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

smut :( it makes me so nervous to write, that's why it's also the hardest one for me 😭 even if i do write a scene out i get too embarrassed to share it or even ask for a friend to read it over.

13. What made you choose your username?

had a few nicknames on deviantart back in the day, among them "megatron" and "raven". at the time i was searching for a new url and one of my friends mashed the two nicknames together to create "megatraven" and that's been my Brand(tm) ever since!

i can't believe my brain finally, finally let me have a cal kestis appearance in my dream last night and it was the saddest most heart-wrenching thing ever 😩 my dreams are crazy, detailed and elaborate so this will get long lol if you feel like reading, go ahead, it's real "reader falls into an alternate universe and needs to find their way back" fic material 😂

so it kinda went back and forth between two different dreams i'm pretty sure. one playing at the university library and the other playing somewhere else. in the library one i was at a table with some classmates, working on our assignments, but there were also some people i know from elsewhere and we started arguing over something. then there was this girl who had lost something and i tried to talk her through how to get to the lost & found, giving the wildest (and very wrong) directions.

the other dream started in the middle of a yellow field of tall grass, where train tracks ran through from one side of the horizon to the other, nothing else to see. when the train came, it was massive, and i was participating in a heist of sorts. we (still don't know who the other people were) were successful i think, because the train derailed and we looted it. I think there was some big boss mastermind somewhere who told us what to do and we were all scared of her lol

so i don't exactly remember what happened after the heist, but the thing is there were these jumps between the dreams where in one i was this badass agent of whatever and doing cool stuff, and in the other i was "real me" in this world doing mundane things. although at some point i'm pretty sure i suddenly was an estate agent trying to set everything up for a visit except that the house was made of cardboard, but that's beside the point 😂 the scenarios from the library timeline i'm pretty sure happened not only somewhere else but in a different time altogether.

at one point, the events of the heist dream kinda come to its peak, and i now find myself in a big room (in hindsight i think it was the archives on jedha from the survivor game?) and somewhere in the air there's a bucket-shaped thing that's swallowing everything around it in a whirlwind, essentially ripping apart time and space. and as it turns out, cal has been there the whole time, and we were actually fighting together and stuff. but now that the bucket is about to shred the fabric of reality, we have to do something. and for some reason the plan of action is that i have to travel to a different universe. we (cal, me, and some other people idk) were all standing at a holotable looking at a map displaying different planets and universes and stuff (again, in hindsight, very web of life and destiny like. i just mashed everything together here it seems xD). and the reasoning in my head went like this: the planet we find ourselves on at this moment is not necessarily star wars canon and is outside of the known parts of the galaxy. so even if i do find my way back to this universe (which i was sure i could do, somehow) i still have no means to contact cal and or even find the planet again. so the search would take quite a while.

and there isn't enough time for us to set up a meeting point and time or anything because of the imminent danger. someone is already dragging me back to the bucket to be sucked into next wednesday or whatever, but i go up to cal one last time and he gives me the strongest hug and omg i didn't wanna let go. at this point i 'm in tears and as someone once again pulls me away and drags me off, i call to him "i will find you" and then everything goes black.

it's so lame i know but i legit woke up with a hole in my heart ;-;

my conclusion is that after leaving that place, the time and space travel kinda wiped my mind so i started a new life (the one at the library and the cardboard house) and completely forgot about cal :'( eventually i'd get snippets of memories, which is why the dream kept jumping back and forth, but i probably just thought they were daydreams or whatever, not my own memories. now that's some meta angst man.

oh and also at some point there were gorillas that shapeshifted into smaller versions of themselves with wings to fly around, and everyone was absolutely okay with that except that they were aggressive so they didn't like them. how that ties into any part of the dream i couldn't tell you but it was just a striking image to see these giant apes suddenly become small and flutter around shdjddkd
