Unless they're wearing something to signify they're trans don't bring it up? If they're wearing a pin or a badge or patch or anything that says I am a trans person sure yea but don't clock a trans person and start a conversation about how they're trans especially when they're trying to pass

I spent the day in Cardiff with my friend yesterday and it was a great time honestly, but being a goth and it being a hot fuckinf day I was sweating like shit so I know my makeup wasn't perfect but I looked good or I thought until we pass two people who start to compliment us and say how good we look and they love goths which yes all good all fine, until the one guy I'm assuming he was gay from some stuff they both said practically pulls me to the side from the main conversation and starts telling me loads of trans pride stuff. I understand he had good intentions because it was all well meaning and kind plus from his breath he was clearly drunk, so I don't blame him wholey but obviously this just made me insecure and upset for the night and for today too, its hard enough being a woman it's hard enough being trans and it's hard enough not dressing 'normally'

don't make people second guess how they appear especially trans people, I get looks and wandering eyes all the time but I can pass it off as being head to toe black outfits or just having a pair of tits but when its so blatant it's harmful so just don't do it, if you clock someone and you want to tell them something just be normal. Tell them you like their hair or makeup or outfit don't tell them their attempt to pass dosent work. Please.

gnc and butch women (cis AND trans) and transmascs are punished for performing masculinity past certain thresholds of arbitrary attractiveness because people that cishet society categorizes or clocks as 'women' are not supposed to perform masculinity. hope this helps 👍
