now that i checked out the first episode of all the yuriful shows i was keeping an eye on, here’s my first thoughts and impressions

thoughts on episode 1: LOVED IT SO SO MUCH!!! i love the mc already she’s such a mess and i already love the dynamic between her and the raging vampire lesbian. my favorite from the ones on this list tbh!! need more cancelled youtubers and horny for blood lesbian vampires. also i have a weak spot for anime with adult characters who can drink alcohol and get wasted lol. WILL be watching EAGERLY.

yuri thoughts 🌸: the yuri looks solid!! there was verbal mention of lesbian romantic feelings. and as in most vampire shows, blood drinking is metaphor for sex but it’s made quite explicit in this one which increases the yuri score. the protagonists have already a v interesting dynamic im invested.

thoughts on episode 1: “shiiiika 🦌!!!” okay y’all know i love me some gag humor anime but tbqh im feeling kinda lukewarm on this one. maybe it’s bc i had rly high expectations for this but idk most of the gags did not hit as nice as i hoped. tho some of them were brilliant (also looove the constant breaking of the fourth wall). not looking forward to the siscon character that’s gonna be introduced. will be continuing but might drop if i get bored. however i loved how they Did mention that only male deer have horns sooo… noko transbian 🦌🏳️‍⚧️?

yuri thoughts 🌸: the two protagonists have great yuri potential!! torako has already shown she’s a huge girl kisser and noko just keeps teasing her, which is a great dynamic imo. also torako’s va is hatsune miku’s voice provider, and we all know hatsune miku is transbian goddess so!

thoughts on episode 1: once again maybe unpopular opinion but im not completely sold on this one. yes it’s fun, yes she’s unhinged, yes they’re all absolutely raging homosexuals BUT idk how to explain it but it feels very much male oriented. idk i think i feel this way bc it’s my personal pet peeve when otaku shows focus mostly on men as the intended audience (for example, when they showed her audience, all the viewers were men which like. they could have shown at least one woman who likes watching her videos yknow?). so anyway. at least it’s incredibly gay? and once again, love characters gettinf drunk lol. but idk i feel like this was made to ride the wave of hololive and get men on twitter to share funny clips idk. i like how they use actual vtuber avatars in certain scenes, and i get the vibe they’ll want to make these girls real vtubers, hence why we dont see what they actually look like but just their vtuber persona. will be checking out more ep but will drop if it gets too meh.

The Naruto Stage is officially over and I’d like to thank Sena (Hinata) and Masaki (Naruto) for their performance as our beloved couple. Also, thank you to the previous actor and actress who played as Hinata and Naruto! All the live stage actors and actresses, including the staff members did great! And btw, Sena had gave a little speech and said that everyone may love Naruto, but not as much as she [Hinata] does. Which made Masaki flustered and smile smugly at the end. They’re truly our NaruHina!!🥹🧡💜

okay okay, alright 😭🥹

so first off, haoren stabbing maya was so good. he should've killed that motherfucker but haoren will always be a better person, no matter what. but he damn well deserved to stab his abuser. he deserved that.

next off, chihiro, who is also a good person, making damn sure that maya didn't get anywhere near misato-chan was so brave of him. he knows what maya can do but he's not gonna let that happen to an innocent person, even if he himself is also innocent. he will shoulder that burden and that pain but it will be his and his alone. he's so good and he's so brave and i'm so glad that maya got caught and chihiro got saved and sent to a hospital. he needed that.

also like, kaji. kaji is such a good friend to both of them. he's not perfect, not by any means, but he's still a good person who's always willing to help them move and run little errands to keep them safe. he's got a good heart. he really does shine thru the shit hand they've all been given in life. he and masaki-kun. masaki has been an absolute lifeline of kindness for haoren and now for chihiro too. helping them get money, find shelter, being an actual safe person as an adult to haoren. i'm gonna cry cuz he really is just so good.

haoren and chihiro has been dealt such a rough hand from life but throughout it, they have had moments of color, of kindness, of genuine joy from both each other and from the good people they have met along their way. i'm so glad they found each other again. i straight up started bawling the moment haoren stayed at the train station. the way chihiro called for him............. man. fuck. broke my goddamn heart.

but seeing chihiro make it finally as a photographer, seeing haoren own up to his mistakes and accept his punishment so that he can come out on the other side too....... when he cried seeing chihiro's IG, i fell apart too honestly. i'm so glad he went to the exhibition. and for him to see the world that chihiro got to see as well through his photos and then finally seeing that photo of himself......... god. GOD.

people say that the ending could be bittersweet but i'm so glad that it was sweet. i'm so happy that haoren went and found chihiro at the park of that first photo. i'm glad that chihiro could take a photo of haoren smiling. i'm so fucking happy they find each other again. they deserve their happiness. they deserve a better life. haoren is free from his abuser forever (fuck maya, good riddance) and he and chihiro can build a good life together, in peace, finally. i'm so happy. i'm so so happy. i'm crying again cuz it was such a simple ending but it was so beautiful in its simplicity.

and the colors at the end! chihiro having all his brights with a dark blue shirt and haoren having all his blacks with his light blue scarf. that little bit of each other that they've always carried. perfection. what an excellent show.

Just finished tadaima oakeri... AND OMG!! that was the most wholesome thing I've ever seen!!! And and the last scene where Hikari says oakeri and the gramps & twins reply with tadaima it soothes something in me!! Like like ah home..

The whole show is about understanding and respect and love. The little glimpses into everyone's mindset and ideologies gives a look of how you can still be your own self with help of others. And it hits so hard where today everyone's is told to be on your own feet. Like this is a way to show that it is okay to lean on others and work things out.

Absolutely made me cry and laugh out loud. Hikari is the mvp along with other kids. 🤧🤧😍😍

Alright, I made a promise that I would make Kaoru and Dimi's info about the two of them! Now then, let's start with this thing.

Kaoru Sasaki:

She is the daughter of Akane Sasaki and Shintaro Masaki (Takeo's descendant? Maybe his son/grandson perhaps?)

Her height is 5"10 (Quite tall for an Asian woman)

She was born on September 18, 1952.

Kaoru can speak English, Japanese, and Russian.

Her favorite color is red, black, and gold.

Also called "Hannya" (It can be symbolized as anger, fear, strength, or betrayal, as it also means wisdom according to Buddhism.)

She is a quiet, smart, and caring person.

Kaoru has an earring where it shows the kamon (family crest?) of the Sasaki clan and her gold haori having the crest of the Masaki clan on the back (I'll make the kamons soon 💖)

Spends her childhood by learning martial arts from her grandfather on her mother's side and katana training with Shintaro.

She looks at Adler as an enemy for being a huge douchebag and an ahhhole to Dimitri.

During her time in Perseus, she got a scar on her left cheek and a scar on the bridge of her nose during her time with the CIA.

When she was brainwashed, all of her memories were tampered and forgot about her goal to save Dimitri from Adler and the others. (Which Dimi pulls out a reverse card on her by doing the same thing she did to him by letting him remember who he was.)

Kitsune and Kaoru are quite rivals when it comes to challenging themselves on who can hijack the security in an government office.

Like Dimi, she hates Arash and Qasim for being jerks.

Kaoru always wanted to meet her grandfather and the Masaki Clan. (Imagine Takeo just losing his shit when he meets Kaoru, it could be Ultimis or Primis, who knows.)

Finds Mason and Woods as two uncles, one is a grumpy old man while the other is chill and caring.

Also has feelings for Lazar (Can't blame her though, Lazar is something.)

Kaoru has good terms with Park and Sims until she found out about their involvement about the MKUltra.

She loves eating spicy yakisoba, katsu, donburi, sushi, takoyaki, and dango.

When Lena saw her records, this reminded her of Takeo himself as she was convinced that she is Tak's descendant. (I know, Tag happened but this is a headcanon where Tak got a son and maybe a grandson before the events of Zombies.)

Dimitri Volkov

He is a KGB agent and part of Perseus.

He was once part of a gang during his teenage years.

Dimitri is a serious, criminal-minded, smart, and brutal person.

He has no relations with Anton Volkov.

His height is 6"1.

Dimitri was born in November 9, 1949.

He usually curse at Kaoru for complimenting him, did something wrong, or just being all of a pesimist person. But deep inside, he cares for her, he's just being a huge tsundere to her.

He was a campus crush during his senior years even though he was quite rebellious.

His father is from the KGB when he was young and followed his footsteps when he got older.

He loves going to bars a lot to drink some beer or vodka and talk to the ladies there.

Before joining Perseus, aside from being a KGB agent, he was also a hitman as well.

He doesn't get drunk easily.

He's mostly fond of playing board games.

During his time as a KGB agent, hitman, and part of Perseus, he got a scar on his left eye, right eyebrow, and also on his neck.

Dimitri's quite handsome that even the female employess on the KGB falls in loved with him, though he did got a girlfriend once but ended up dumping her for being a tramp and just begs him to be her boyfriend only for money, attention, and smeks.

He likes girls who are pure, beautiful, has honor with them, not a huge tramp, loyal, caring, a loving person, sweet, and gives him the love that he needs in his life. (Aw, even Dimi can be soft sometimes.)

He has some tattoos on his arms and back.

Dimitri smokes a lot, but only when he feels like it. He has his limitations.

When he was an spy on the CIA, he goes by the name Yuri Sidorov.

Stitch and Dimitri has a strained relationship with each other.

Dimitri hates Arash and doesn't care about Qasim. When he found out Arash died and Qasim was captured, he only wished he was there to see them getting beatened up by Adler amd the others or simply beating them up with his bare hands.

Hates Adler, Mason, Woods, Hudson for torturing him and involving Kaoru to his mess during the interrogation.

He's Kaoru's boyfriend at the end of the campaign. (I chose Duga in my fic so yeah after what happened in Duga, Dimi helps Kaoru recover her memories back and finally got the chance to make her as his girlfriend.)

Doesn't care about Sims, Lazar, and Park but he knew that Park was the one behind the idea of the MKUltra.

When he met Lena, he got a liking on her but it was gone until he remembered about Kaoru.

When he met Kaoru on the building where it became a hideout for her, he hates her for being stubborn for not joining Perseus until they got along during her day off. (They even got a photo on the carnival where he won her a plushie and I will draw them soon 🥹💖)
