Padparadscha - They/He/She Pronouns This is THE favourite of the Elder Gems, the King of Chill, very silly. They have to change their fillings every decade or so, on top of that they have to deal with fatigue, fainting, mind fog, and dizzy spells- but he can manage his energy much better thanks to Rutile.

Bit of Blue Diamond context: In their early days, Blue was pretty much always with Yellow Diamond, practically glued to them- but whenever Padparadscha was awake, Yellow would always spend time with him- and overtime Blue got attached to Padparadscha as well. Y.D and Padpa are Blue's sort of parental figures pretty much.

AAA ITS BEEN A WHILE I had a whole thing with my drawing tablet, then my pc, but its all mostly ok now :] I've wanted to draw Padpa for so long!! I actually really enjoy them, their hair is absurd and I'm glad I drew it well enough. I think I'm most proud of the chibi sketches >:]

APOPHYLLITE She/Her Pronouns Mohs Hardness: 4.5 Nicknames: Phyll or Poppy The Fourth Elder Gem. She pulled everyone together when Kongo Sensei lost consciousness. She's a lovely gem, but very strict on how she runs things- she's always fussing the youngsters about their uniforms, sleeping quarters, and even their posture. Apophyllite is a jack of all trades, she can teach, fix broken gems, mend clothes, she can even make quality paper. But she prefers cleaning above all else- dirt and clutter beware!! Some stuff I didn't write on the drawing: She is the Head Cleaner, and while she has a team of cleaners to keep the school tidy all year-round, she begins rallying every gem to get things (mostly) spotless before winter hits.

Annotations will be rewritten below PINK FLUORITE She/He Pronouns Mohs Hardness: 4 No Nicknames: Use their full name or refer to as "Sir" A total etiquette freak, far too strict to be a Mediator, but she still does her best to uphold the rules to the best of her ability. He was once the Delinquents' worst nightmare, but he started to mellow out a while ago. She had a weird one-sided rivalry with Labradorite, but she has mostly grown out of it. Mostly. Several-hundred years shy of Elder Gem status, but he still pulls the age card like it's a badge once in a while. She's weirdly agile for a gem that doesn't fight. He often ties his hair up into a bun, a very prim and proper gem. Some stuff I didn't write on the drawing: Pink Fluorite is actually quite elusive nowadays, he's usually holed up in the Library, making sure everything is in the right place. Despite her cold demeanour, she gives pretty good advice to those looking for it. --------------------

ALRIGHT OK ALRIGHT!!! I'm so happy with these I posted them together because I didn't want to just, idk bloat?? my profile?? I don't know how to say it but ANYWAY I realise these are a bit messy but I don't really mind it? I got my thoughts down and that is what matters. All three of these gems (Sphalerite, Apophyllite, and Pink Fluorite) looked VERY different to when I first thought about them, it's a shame I didn't draft those out, but I' so so happy with how they ended up. Although it's been very hard not to write "Pink Floyd" instead of Pink Fluorite I will be doing some proper art soon ish, I have several ideas, but not not all of them will be pretty rock related, so if you're tuned into my other blogs you can keep an eye out if you want :]

SPHALERITE He/They Pronouns Mohs Hardness: 4 and 3 Nicknames: Sphae, Hale, or Phae The third ever gem to be born, the original troublemaker - despite his age, he's considered an honorary delinquent. Though he has a low hardness, this fucker fears absolutely nothing. They're the teacher you never want to piss off, but they're actually very gentle in nature. They will only ever wear the winter uniform. Somehow, they have teeth, unlike the other gems. Sharp and made of Calcite, they require frequent maintenance, and he must speak quite carefully. If a tooth breaks, he completely forgets different words. When they were born, they vehemently refused to let Kongo Sensei remove teeth. Some stuff I didn't write on the drawing: Sphalerite was the first gem teacher, and their first student was Blue Diamond- mainly because Blue was afraid of Kongo Sensei. After some trial and error, and a lot of help from Yellow Diamond, Sphalerite managed to teach Blue with their needs in mind- and gained a new purpose in the process. --------------------

I'M CRAZY I'M INSANE!!! I really really enjoyed drawing this one, Gravy and Mashed Potatoes Gem, Peepaw. They were gonna be more grey, but the brown worked so much better imo-

Fashion gems!!

Aquamarine (She/Her pronouns) She's almost as fashion-obsessed as Red Beryl She is the best at mending clothes She likes to keep busy, so she works three jobs Very warm, but can be stern Her style is elegant and a little bit futuristic, she prefers sleek silhouettes.

Red Beryl (She/They pronouns) They change their hairstyle almost everyday Very headstrong She's always thinking about fashion Her style ranges from 'cutesy' to princess-like. Lace, bows, and frills are their go-to.

Emerald (He/They pronouns) He's always doing a little dance while he's working They will be the first to tell you if you're being unreasonable He keeps track of all gem fashion, past and present He gives everyone cut nicknames Their style is a little more eclectic, but he enjoys Lunarian street fashion most of all ------------------------------

Winter gems!!! I thought it would be cool if Antarc (He/They) had a little bit of help with winter- sometimes they'll have part-timers here and there, but Aquamarine (She/Her) is the only one that really stuck around. I CAVED IN!!!! I wanted to make a sona mostly for meme purposes, I chose Indicolite because Tourmaline is one of my birthstones, and tbh I connect more with that than I do with Opal. I also tried to make them more like my real current body type? It was hard, but I feel pretty good about it for this character at least :] They may come with some Lore(tm), but we'll see I am finding it hard to create and post things on any of my blogs, but I wanna let you know I'm playing around with TWO AUs/Stories for these guys- hopefully we'll see something soon!!

Some redesigns of all the diamonds from the Houseki no Kuni manga!! (Some with more changes than others.......) Their AU designs are somewhat inspired by events and arcs in the story! I have a list of all the canon gems but I'm not doing them in order, maybe when I've drawn them all I will post their age order (possibly including my OCs in that list) I wanna reiterate that these are simply my headcanons for them, and I don't wish to take away from anyone else's headcanons or the actual canon- I'm just having fun and trying to tell stories :)

I wanted to try messing with line weight using a different line art pen, it's a bit all over the place I think but I'm very happy with this! I thought Tanzanite needed their own art >:] I think you guys deserve some on-the-fly fun facts about them, as a treat

Tanzanite reminds me of Blaze the Cat, don't ask me why, that's just how I feel about them, their vibe /pos

While they don't emote very much, they can be easily embarrassed

Has great balance and an even greater sense of direction, they're usually the main navigator on expeditions

No one has been able to knock them down while sparring

Always brings back souvenirs for their friends

They're quite good at archery, but they haven't grown out of the training bow quite yet

They are exploring distant lands!! I enjoyed scratching this out, I usually don't do group drawings

The Lunarians have at least one Tower in each region to survey the general area, (one for the islands, two for the mainlands, kind of like botw or totk because I'm?? insane.) Since the Lunarians cannot stay on Earth for long periods of time, the Gems formed an Exploration team to monitor each area every century or so, to see how it changes over time.

Leading the charge is Yellow Diamond (They/Them), although they prefer to let the younger gems figure themselves out and intervene when necessary

Blue Zoisite (They/He), wanting any excuse to get off the Home Island joined the team- he's nimble and highly observant, and can cover a lot of ground on their own

Goshenite (She/They) joined the team for confidence building, she's come real far and is more firm and more decisive. They're also very resourceful

Blue Diamond (They/Them), while similar to Bluzo in age, joined quite late- Y.D brought them on so that they weren't entirely unemployed, and it wasn't hard to persuade them since their close friend was on the team already. Blue doesn't like admitting it out loud, but they really enjoy exploring

Citrine (He/Him) is very much the heart of the team, he absolutely adores adventure. He actually begged Blue Diamond to take him with them multiple times until they finally talked to Y.D about it

Tanzanite (They/Them), while being the youngest of the group, usually leads the team meetings, as they're the best at navigation- I forgot to draw it, but they always have a little bag to bring home souvenirs for their friends back home.

I love these cringe rock children, this was very fun and entertaining to draw :] The meme-canon is that EVERY SINGLE GEM knows what Five Nights at Freddie's is EXCEPT Blue Diamond, and *no one* will tell them anything about it Regular canon is, sometimes Blue will have these four following them around the school, they see them as a cool older sibling, maybe a cool uncle or grandpa- It bothers Blue a little bit, but they can't be too mad

Wanted to draw more Dioptase bc I love them, they're so silly Also had the urge to design Lapis and Euc, Head Librarian and Head Administrator, guess who wanted who's job (I like making fictional drama between characters <3) Now that I've drawn Lab with her hair down I need to draw the other updo-havers with their hair down- I've doodled Citrine without his headband but I'm not sure that counts, and the drawing of Black Opal was a different design thing- anywho,

I started redoing ALL my OCs' Toyhouse profiles, so that's fun, theyve got playlists and relationship tabs and everything (or they will have when im done ^^;;) ENOUGH CHATTER i hope you like this week's doodles :]

A fun doodle page, I've been a little out of motivation recently, so I just put together what I felt like- the Kutnohorite doodles are some old favourites and I wanted to show them off, I was also going to draw other minecraft materials as HnK characters, but I ended up drawing the diamond on their own- I really like their colour though Final thoughts, why do you think Citrine and Onyx are getting scolded? I think they got too silly to be honest :)

HELO I wanted to do somee mini-interactions, Citrine and Blue are very much the Protagonist and his Bastard Companion respectively (think Link and Linebeck from phantom hourglass), and this specific interaction happens quite often- unreachable ledge? Deploy the quartz, need to ring the bell? Get thrown, idiot!! Citrine is lucky that his senior has good aim Afghanite and Onyx are usually always butting heads, the former being calm, collected, and in control, the latter being the hot-headed wildcard- They both care deeply about fairness, but have very different ideas on what fairness should be I also threw jade in there because Jade is cool and silly AND AND I wanted to introduce another "main" friend group, since all the gems live together, there are many different and overlapping friend groups and I wanna explore them all :] ANYWAY Phos deserves a solid group of friends, I love those funky gem kids- I will draw them actually interacting in the future I'm so very normal about my AU, I will not apologise for rambling about it :]
