ok ok i know that everyone is literally over the boys over flowers remakes but...... girl HUNNY we actually are all LIARS if anyone is actually saying that! if someone says that this version is not changing things up compared to the other versions, they are dead wrong bc this version is so freaking elite. the fact that they address the toxic behaviors and actually provide more background to a lot of stories makes this drama so so so good. the love that thyme has for gorya means so much more here since they show the small details in between the big ones, and we're all here for it (the stares, the small gestures, and the MF COUNTDOWN got us all weak in the knees sister). i've always thought that there was one thing that the previous remakes were missing and it was the warmth between the shancai/jandi's family, the genuine friendship between the f4 boys, the repercussions of bullying, generational trauma, and the reality of understanding one's privilege. f4 thailand works to address all of these things so well, with cinematography that delivers every single time, utterly beautiful actors, and incredible writing. im so excited to watch more of this, but for now, im rewatching all the episodes so episode 9 can be my reward LOL
