idk my canon divergencies totally yet, but we'll see how it goes. i'm mostly probably going to do like- canonish stuff rather than canon scenarios so that helps. also typically love writing post canon things a lot in rp in general.

chances are, most threads will be fandomless and set post canon. she's probably going to stay in california for school, but i have no decision on a specific college yet.

as far as shipping goes... i am pretty open to seeing where things go as of right now! i also am a huge sucker for friendships and i love platonic/family things a whole lot.

“We must make haste!” – said you, pulling Nostradamus by his collar to you. You pressed your body against the wall, hiding in a corner. You smiled cunningly, drawing your lips closer to him. – “Y/n I…” – started Nostradamus, worried looking around him. You shushed him, turning his head towards you. – “It’s perfectly save.” – replied you, scratching your nails through his beard. That made him curl up a smile, pressing his hand against the wall beside you. Leaning in closer, could you smell his manly odor. It was a mixture of herbs and medicine that he cooked up by himself. It made you hum loudly, going wild for it. Nostradamus took a hold of your chin with his fingers, gently stroking it. – “My love.” – breathed he out. You closed your eyes, feeling his warm breath against your skin If there was anything this intimate it was this.

You closed the gap between you and him, kissing him firmly. You demanded dominance as Nostradamus gladly gave it to you. He let you play the kiss out in any way you wanted. It was something the secrecy did to you. It made you yearn more and more for him. If anyone would find out, it would be scandalous. A lady of the queen-to-be, marrying a mere physician. He had to at least be a lord to be found interesting for your fellow ladies or parents.

Yet he wasn’t one. Not that you haven’t met any interesting lords to even consider marriage too. It was just, things changed. You never anticipated into marrying someone below your station. You just knew you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him. He made your days at French court bearable, besides your friends. He was a dream come true that you fought off for as long as you could. Avoiding him, not interacting with him, all those little things you did to keep him out of your mind. Nostradamus always found a way through. If it was not with a glance, then a simple smile in your direction send you to the edge. Till it was no longer to contain, poured you, your love onto him. Leading to seeing him in secret. The secrecy that gave a thrill to it all.

Nostradamus removed his lips from yours, needing a moment to breath. – “My love…” – whispered he out, rubbing his palm against your cheek. You took his hand, kissing the palm of his hand. – “Yes.” – responded you, glancing up to him. Nostradamus inhaled deep, softening his gaze at you. – “I…” – started he, getting interrupted by a noise. You immediately pushed him off you, turning around to fix your hair and dress. Nostradamus stepped back, coming to stand before a window. He pretended to look outside as you rushed to one of the doors. Taking the doorknob in your hand, pretended you to just leave that chamber. – “Y/n?” – It was Lola, who looked surprisingly at you. You slowly turned towards her, pretending there was nothing going on. – “Were you looking for me Lola?” – questioned you. Lola frowned briefly, looking over her shoulder to Nostradamus who she had passed on her way here. – “Uhm… yes.” – said she, leaving the matter aside. – “Come along then!” – You grabbed Lola’s arm, walking back with her. You passed Nostradamus, glancing briefly at him. He looked back for a second, pretending like there was nothing the matter. You started to chat with Lola to distract her from thinking too much.

Lola leaded you to the throne room, where Kenna, Greer and Mary already were. You took Kenna’s hands, letting her pull you closer to her, giggling. – “Oh! I crave for a festival… anything to cure this boredom.” – sighed she out, looking dreamily up. – “Anything for drinks and dances.” – replied you, understanding her language. Kenna laughed at you, touching the tip of your nose. – “You know me so well Y/n.” – Greer laughed as well, looking behind you. She glanced teasingly as something cunningly crossed her mind. – “Don’t look now.” – whispered she out, leaning in closer. – “But there are a few curious eyes looking our way.” – Kenna gasped, immediately looking over your shoulder to who she was referring to. – “Oh, My!” – called she out, waving her hand in front of her. – “Can you make it more obvious?” – sighed Lola out, rolling with her eyes. – “I sure can!” – answered Kenna, waving flirtatious her hand at the group of men. They laughed loud, clearly noticing the attention they were getting.

“Kenna!” – hissed Lola out, pulling her hand down. – “And they are coming over.” – informed Greer. Mary moved her hands up. – “I’m not taking a part in this, have fun ladies.” – laughed she out, taking her leave. – “More for us.” – said Kenna, poking you in the side. You faked a smile, not even interested in them. – “Good day ladies.” – introduced one of the men, taking a bow. – “And I’m away from here.” – called Lola out, turning around with an uninterested look. Kenna so happily introduced you to the lords. One of them started to chat with you as you had little interest. – “Lady Y/n may I interest you in…” – started he, making you hold your hand up. – “You may not.” – answered you, noticing Nostradamus walk into the throne room by Catherine her side. You noticed him looking your way, clearly a bit agitated as he turned his attention to Catherine again. – “I apologize my lord.” – said you, curtsying before him. – “I have obligations.” – lied you to get out of this situation. You left, passing Nostradamus from afar. You made a subtle motion to him, letting him know to come and see you later.

He nodded as you took your leave. Making your way over to the gardens, dreamt you of him. You came outside, going out of sight. Leaning against the wall, exhaled you deep. Looking up to the sky, wondered you what it would be to be close to him. Wake up next to him, share your life with him. The man you loved. You wanted it all to be true. – “Y/n!” – moments later arrived Nostradamus. You took a hold of his shirt, pulling him closer. With little area to breath, kissed you him passionate. – “To what do I owe the pleasure?” – wondered he, having removed his lips from yours. – “I was just thinking… about us…” – confessed you, looking at his chest. – “About our future…” – Nostradamus tilted your head up to him, smiling. – “Would you like to know how our future is?” – asked he, smiling widely. You slowly nodded, wanting to know if there was a happy ending to it. He moved his arms around you, exhaling deep. – “I see us… a warm spring day… dancing… a kiss…” – explained he, making you chuckle. – “I see us waking up next to each other. I see you become my lovely wife…” – You gasped at that. – “You truly saw that?” – wanted you to know. He nodded, stroking your cheek. – “No one has to know… we can marry soon. Build our own life…how does that sound, Y/n?”

“Very tempting… like a dream…” – replied you with a soft sigh. – “It doesn’t have to be a dream…” – Nostradamus let go of you, kneeling down before you. – “I can make you my wife today… if you like?” – tears sprung up in your eyes, making you press your lips together. – “I would love too! Please…” – Nostradamus got back up, kissing you. Wrapping your arms around him, couldn’t you wait to be his wife. To not having to pretend anymore. To have the life of your dreams. To be his. You married Nostradamus with only informing Mary. She wished you well in life, telling you that she would miss you.

It is 3 AM for me and I can't stop thinking about how Henry II was fertile af in Reign (he even mentions a little village full of unfavoured bastards and their mothers) yet none of his goddamn sons could get their wives pregnant (even Charles and Henri III in rl)? Like Mary and her cousin did it ONE TIME and had James (I know in rl that Francis and Mary never had kids but still) and General Renaude also got Kenna pregnant after ONE TIME. Like Francis and Bash, you had ONE job. Given that these loved up (meant to be endgame) couples were going at it like rabbits 24/7 and Francis practically lived in Mary and Kennash broke multiple beds and made sure everybody knew about their sex life, how on Earth didn't they get pregnant with gorgeous blue and green eyed Valois/de Poitiers babies???

Note that I am aware of the child that is Jean Philippe but I refuse to believe that Francis couldn't get Mary pregnant but could get some awful "bestie" of hers pregnant after ONE TIME and Mary could ONLY have her cousin's baby???
