Our New Must Read: Mary Jane
The story is set in modern times, so these pics are titillating…
Either way… we are on top of the uncensored version. It’s some of the prettiest peen in this new crop of uncensored toons Lezhin is releasing.
Not as pretty as Jaeshin and Nok, but pretty enough.
The art is also really good. Really, really good. The story is weird, dark, off the wall… the Seme a little unhinged, but there is something rather wholesome about this read so far. Can’t quite put my finger on it either. Maybe in time it will become clear and I can really review it properly.
For now, every week, Mary Jane is a must.

Manhwa AU Playdate Mini Fic
Yuri swung her feet back and forth, looking at the white Mary Jane shoes she had been forced into by her mother. She pouted, looking at the much older woman fretting with the flower vase in their parlor.
“Moooom!” She cried, her hands clutching the lacey ruffles of the sage dress she had on. “I don’t wanna sit down and talk. I wanna go plaaaay! With my friiieeeends!” They whined as Yue shook her head,
“Dear, you’re meeting the Grand Duke’s only child. You couldn’t possibly make her do anything that she doesn’t want, ah…” She moved over to her daughter and clutched her hands in hers, kneeling next to the couch. “This is very important, okay? Lady Yuu is a very powerful young lady, and you must make sure she’s happy at all times. I’m sorry that you have to sit still for so long, but we’ve been practicing this, remember? If you need to fidget…” She asked, smiling as her daughter pouted.
“I just pick up a teacup, I know…” She said, “But what if they want to go play?”
“Then you can go play. Just remember that-” She was cut off by a knock on the door. Quickly straightening, Yue looked over to the door. “Come in.” She called, to which the Grand Duke Crewel and his daughter came in, followed by another child with mostly white hair. She quickly curtsied, to which Yuri copied. “A pleasure to see you, Your Grace.”
He gave a short bow in reply, responding “The pleasure is all mine. It’s nice to finally meet you, Lady Yue, and to see your daughter again.” He beckoned Yuu forth, Yu following behind her, as Yue went to stand near Crewel. Yuu was holding a big book of what seemed to be fables, which she placed down on the table.
“Allow me to give you a tour of the gardens, Your Grace. The children seem to already have a good idea of what they wish to do.” She said, to which Crewel nodded, leaving with her. Meanwhile, Yuri looked at the other two girls. They both sat on the couch across from her, a table of snacks and tea between them.
“I brought this book to read.” Yuu proclaimed, to which Yu nodded in return, giving a smile as a greeting. Yuri nodded too, but then lit up.
“Can we act them out? Like a play?” Yuu narrowed her eyes,
“What do you mean?”
“Well, you read the story, and then Yu and I act out what the characters are doing! It’s more fun with more people, but we can just use my dolls. Oh, and costumes!” Yuu brought out the book, flipping through the chapters. Yu then spoke up,
“I think that sounds like fun.” Yuu, seeming to consider the opinion of her friend, nodded.
“Very well. We shall act out a fairytale.” They said, flipping back to the chapters. “Which one do you want to do? The Ghost Bride, Tropical Turbulence, The White Rabbit Fest?”
“Tsumderland!” Yuri called out, to which Yu nodded, and Yuu looked up at her.
“Okay! We’re going to need costumes, and we need to pick what characters we’re going to be!” She said, putting her hands on her hips. “Let me think… Oh, I know! Yu, you should be…”
—————————————————————————
“Your grounds are quite lovely, Lady Yue,” Crewel said as they walked back towards the room the pair had left the children in. “It has been nice to talk to you as well, but I believe I must get my daughter and go now.” She nodded, opening the door.
“Of course, You Grace. They should be right in here-” She was interrupted by the Grand Duke’s daughter, running up to her father. She was once sitting beside them with a book on the floor and a notepad on her lap, the other two crowded next to her. Yu wore a silky pink gown with a pearl bracelet attempting to be balanced on her head in place of a crown, while Yuri was sporting a gray dress and a likely stolen wooden training sword. Yuu looked up at her father, a serious look in her eyes.
“Papa, we need better costumes!” She said, quickly standing. She rushed over, handing him the notebook. “We have a princess dress, but no tiara! And a knight in a noble lady’s dress; He needs armor, papa! And don’t even get me started on our first play, no one had any ears for the little lion-tsum or horns for the dragon-tsum! It was a disaster, Papa, a disaster!” She cried, sounding more frustrated at the lack of attention to detail than actually sad. He opened the notebook, looking through the list of costumes needed and the notes of sizes that she knew for her friends.
Crewel took a deep breath, “Why don’t you work on refining these designs, and then I can make them? I’ll explain more about how to in the carriage.” He responded, patting her head. “Why don’t you and Yu go get changed back into your clothes for now, and then we’ll take her home?” He asked, to which she nodded. Yu came over, holding two dresses.
“I’ve got them here.” Yuri came behind her and grabbed her shoulders,
“Come on, I’ll show you where you can go change again!” She said laughing, Yuu following close behind them. Yue sighed, as Crewel nodded.
“Truly, these children will be the death of me…”
-Fin-
Basically this fic:
Yuri: I want to perform a play.
Yu+Yuu: That sounds fun.
Yuu, an hour later: This has been a fashion and costuming disaster. My father will hear about this.
This is based on an actual game I used to play with my sisters where we wrote and acted out a “movie” named “Max’s Love”. It was made entirely in our bedrooms and my parent's bathroom for some reason, with nothing but iMovie. It’s since been lost to whoever's phone we made this on being replaced, but I think we made a sequel and had plans for a trilogy. I remember that we had the youngest of us dress up as a boy and play the love interest, and we decided our best “boy clothes” was a shirt with a giant rooster on it. While none of us realized it then, looking back on it was a wonderful bit of irony.
I might end up jumping around with the ages of characters for a bit after this just because writing them as kids is fun but would probably get repetitive after this, but I’ve been hyper-fixating on this AU for a bit now so I doubt I’ll move on for a little while. Yu will probably end up here most of the time because both Yuri and Yuu have very brash personalities as kids, and getting a slightly quieter/calmer kid to be there helps me keep the plot together and not end up with a page worth of children pointlessly arguing. Also, I just like Yu and I want to write about her.
Credits to @twstfanblog for Yuu and thus AU, and @st4rz666 for Yu. As always, leave a comment or ask if you have any questions or anything to add :) (Please leave an ask or question I’m so bored and I want to explain things)

The Story Of Jack The Ripper
By Brendan Lane, Florida State University Class of 2021
February 24, 2021
Serial Killers are an interesting topic in criminology as well as a broad range of other topics; such as psychology, philosophy, and others. There is a certain fascination most people get when confronted with the topic of serial killers. The act of murder is already a societal taboo; so to have individuals who habitually commit such an act will naturally pique the interest of a curious mind. When thinking of serial killers, many individuals come to mind; some of these being Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, and so on. However, these serial killers are mostly known in the United States. There is one serial killer that is known around the world and whose story has become as much legend as reality. That serial killer being: Jack the Ripper.
The story of Jack the Ripper has been fictionalized in many forms of media. Fictional incarnations of Jack, and characters inspired by his likeness, have appeared in English literature of the Victorian era. He has also inspired many films and is referenced by many musical artists. Jack the Ripper has also made appearances in many American comics as well as in Multiple Japanese manga and Korean Manhwa. Needless to say, Jack the Ripper has been ingrained into culture and the public conscience for quite some time now. Not only has the story of Jack the Ripper been welcomed among western audiences but it has also found its way to the East. [1]
The details on the real life story of Jack the Ripper are not exactly concrete; this could be the reason that the individual is so fascinating and has been in different media. The actual amount of victims of Jack the Ripper is unknown to this day as well as his identity. Even the dates of when the murders took place are hard to pin down. Eleven murders took place in London between the 1888 and 1891. There were a large number of attacks during this time which makes it harder to understand who may have been involved in the murders and if they could even be attributed to a single killer. Out of the eleven murders attributed to the Ripper, five were considered to be the “Canonical Five.”[2]
The canonical five were five women believed to all been killed by the same man. The Five victims’ names were Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. The Five Victims all suffered similar wounds, and had their organs removed postmortem. Another thing that all the victims had in common is that they were all prostitutes. All of the victims had been killed in the early morning hours and most likely occurred within one night or a few nights close together. There were other victims attributed to the same killer but they did not seem to match the same pattern of the other victims. [2]
Jack the Ripper was an attributed name to the murderer. Along with this name, he was also known as the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. The details about the killer are not well known. Jack the Ripper was never caught but many were suspected of being him. The killer was thought to be someone from a wealthy or upper-class background. Even though the authorities gathered many suspects, they never found the killer. [3]
Although Jack the Ripper may have not had as many victims as other notorious serial killers he still remains in infamy. Part of this could be in part that Jack the Ripper had never been discovered and that he was the first high profile serial killer if he even existed as people think he did in the first place. The way that Jack the Ripper is as much of a fiction as he is a person is probably the most interesting aspect of his story.

My rewrites for TRE characters in my fanfic
so about 6 months ago I fell into the Au pipeline and it ended up resulting in a bunch of stories that's basically if maximalism was a 7 season long book series. One of those seasons combines tons of characters from different manhwas I read but it's mostly a new interpretation of remarried empress with some Oc's.
Navier
One major change I made is that Navier isn't the protagonist anymore but I didn't want her to be a cold blooded villain either. If you ever went on history tik tok specifically the tudors and the French revolution, there's a lot of people who romanticize Anne Boleyn to the extremes of villainzing Jane Seymour or babying Marie Antoinette as a sweet coquette girly who was unfairly killed by "savage revolutionaries" or claiming Elizabeth I as a feminist girlboss who only wanted to end her fathers bloodline. These historic women weren't the most awful people and they definitely were victims but that doesn't mean they didn't have noticeable flaws that affected the lives of others. That's the direction I went for my version of Navier, she still cares for her loved ones and makes good decisions but she was raised with a classist mindset, not pouring wine on maids and poor people but viewing them as emotionless husks with only one purpose which explains her apathy to slaves. I also gave Navier a backstory beyond wanting to be a perfect empress which was a relationship with her mother that is inspired by Catherine the greats relationship with her mother, so yeah not very great. Unlike the original she is fully aware of what Heinrey is doing but she barely cares (not much of a change from the original tbh) the goal is that I still want Navier to be a little likeable while also making her complex and realistic as an empress.
Sovieshu
I didn't give Sovieshu as many changes and for the most part, he's the same as he was in the original: a toxic partner who pushes his faults on other people around him. In this version though instead of becoming cold and cruel to Navier to moment Rashta shows up, the two have already been drifting apart for a while and it only got worse when Navier had a miscarriage a year prior to the story. Sovieshu is more of a cautionary tale of how misogyny is encouraged in boys at a young age, in his youth, Sovieshu had all the love of his mother since his parents struggled to conceive and only had one son. He wanted his father's love more than anything but Osis was about as interested as you'd expect, only wanting his son to be a great Emperor and nothing else, to please him, Sovieshu started to emulate the misogynistic views of the men around him which grew to be his actual beliefs. The only person that kept Sovieshu from turning into his dad was the former empress until she takes her own life, leaving Sovieshu with Osis as his influence. I still want Sovieshu to remain a scumbag but it will be more of a tragedy in how the future generations can never improve if we continue the cycle of abuse.
Rashta
I think Rashta is the most altered out of all the original characters since she's not even a villainess but rather a sort of anti hero. Her past as a slave is more fleshed out, her childish manner is age regressing to try to gain back her stolen childhood and she doesn't try to befriend Navier after getting the message that Navier wants nothing to do with her. In this version she's the best friend and later love interest of the new protagonist who bottles up her past and feelings to please others so she can keep her cozy life in the palace and that becomes a problem as the lack of care causes Rashta to grow more depressed and even has a few panic attacks. She won't do a good portion of the horrible acts she does in the original since she now had actual friends and because some of her sins are just so contrived to make her hateable, but she still is petty and holds grudges so she doesn't feel too bad when she ruins Nians marriage or snubs Lebetti, she'll even be conflicted since she feels guilty that the slaves on the Rimwell estate are still suffering but she doesnt want to risk being removed as concubine if she tries to call for slaves rights but she does find her voice and will start to push for slaves to be freed mid-way through her term as the empress of the eastern empire. In the end, Rashta does become Empress of a different empire after spending a good 7 years healing from her trauma and getting a good education, she lives her days with her kids and dies at the age of 81
Heinrey
Hes one the main antagonists here, I kept his love for his wife and family though but it's not an "uwu my queen!" Or really anything puppy like. For Heinrey I wanted to make him a true white lotus and he's has more vibes of a comforting friend with soft mannerisms and tones in voice, he loves Navier dearly because I still think even monsters like him can fall in love but the reason he tortures and kills people who don't side with Navier isn't even because he's that adamant about Naviers honor but rather because if someone were to find out his sadistic nature to those who disagree with him, he can use the "puppy husabnd" excuse to appear as a sadistic sweetheart. It not only scares the shit of his people into respecting him but it also wins him a little sympathy points since "he's just a hopeless romantic" I wanted Heinrey to appear uncanny too, like you know somethings off about him but if you said anything people would just be like "what are you talking about? He just really loves his family." His death is also pretty brutal, naturally Heinrey makes a lot of enemies and during a war arc he is shot down while in bird form leaving him at the mercy of a former maid he pushed over the deep end, she offs him, plucks him, cooks him, and serves him to the remaining family members of Lazlo.
and that's only the main 4, I did almost all of them with the exception of McKenna since he's honestly the only good character thats written well in remarried empress.
