Ok so, you knowwv howwv wwvhen wwve're introduced to the cult in HS Gamzee makes it pretty clear that they havvwe an oddly unbiased vvwiewwv of lowwvbloods?

And howwv laid back they all are towwvards a LITERAL FUCKIN ALIEN in their midst in Hivvweswwvap?

Yeah this is wwvhy.

They're ties to Orcinisim, and the concept of all trolls "bleeding equal" in the Vast Honk, both havvwe led to a generally more "Tolerant" stance on non Purples. (As long as they're sufficiently Vvwiolent and Funny)

That tolerance wwvas the big reason they had such a tight bond wwvith the lime bloods before the Tidal Lords wwviped them out.

I said 80% non purple, but it's more like 60%. Purples are nowwvhere near as rare as seadwwvellers, BUT they still aren't common enough to make sense as some kind of massivvwe force. This is the main reason Purples are so close knit, there just ain't enough of them to be picky.

Certain subsets of the church, like the Laughing Rot Sect, are considered to be wwveirdly friendly, evvwen by church standards, because they rub shoulders wwvith Violet Bloods so often.

But, on a more statistical note: most non Purples are gonna be your greens-lowwver blues. Olivvwe to Cerulean. Mostly olivvwe to teal, honestly.

Bachus has close ties to the lowwver ranks himself, but it's his Second In Command: SpiralTalker and GodMouth (Jaekel and Jauqle Carval/Xoloto they're Marvus' Ancestor yes both of them) that are more... intertwwvined wwvith their Wwvarm Kin.

Again, Redglare. But also Jaekel has a rampant, WWVELL KNOWWVN Seadwwveller Fetish.

Cthoni is actually PROBABLY her's biologically. Just as a fun note.

But yeah, anyone sufficiently bloodthirsty and wwvhimsical is wwvelcome to slip into their ranks.

Literally, just toss some paint on and wwvalk the fuck in, as long as you're cool and don't blowwv your owwvn covvwer or start flipping out about copious hallucinogenic drugs and murder, they wwvon't question it.

Fictionkin culture is being absolutely down BAD for a character then later on realizing you're fictkin of someone younger/close to them and seeing him as more as a father figure during shifts, but STILL being a huge simp OUTSIDE of the shift, then feeling like you're kinda stupid for that. [Insert Shinji chair meme here]

General Headcanons for Marvus Xoloto

Does "Get Ready With Me" livestreams that are 10% him actually getting ready for whatever he's gotta do for the night, 30% Q&A session, and 60% people begging him for a no makeup face reveal which he always turns down with a laugh (like all members of the church he's extremely careful not to have his face seen without paint)

actually very religious and values the church, especially it’s approach to death and fate, he doesn’t typically discuss it with people and when he does is extremely casual about it but he and chahut have really in depth conversations about scripture interpretation and ritual practice together

his personal favorite flavors of Faygo are Rock & Rye and Club Soda

while he’s got a beautiful voice and has great skills for composing, he struggles to actually play most instruments, composing primarily on a group of drum pads and one of those electric keyboards with multiple settings, typically going on instinct to write the music down and then send it off to a group that records his backing tracks for him

 his ears naturally droop at a lower angle that trolls’ “neutral” pinna posture, making him physically appear more relaxed

uses his chucklevoodoo near constantly when he’s performing and sometimes forgets to turn off the Stage Efforts when he’s one on one with people (which can be overwhelming on a psychic/emotional level)

has numerous thoughts and plans on rebellion but hasnt developed a trusted group with which he can execute any of them so they just live in his head rent free

there’s a line in his contract that prevents him from cutting his hair (he plans on breaking his the second he’s let off planet and selling it as part of a new persona era ala David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust)

has an obscenely huge hive but because he’s often traveling to perform he basically lives out of his limo 

doses with sopor slime (enjoys both pies and smoothies) prior to events where he’ll be filmed both because it helps him take a bit of the edge off of his psychic powers before a show (preventing bloodshed too early in the set) and helps him feel more relaxed while performing, easing into his on stage flamboyance like Alice Cooper before an act
