Marvel Spookytober 2021 Prompts
Hello, everyone!
It’s finally that time of the year again, and Marvel Spookytober Prompts is back with prompts for you a bit later than usual.
For those who aren’t familiar, Marvel Spookytober Prompts is an event that lasts the entire month of October. It has two different prompts for you to choose from each day or you could even use both prompts. You are free to participate as much or as little as you wish, meaning there is NO minimum word count, minimum days to participate, minimum images, or anything of the like. All forms (writing, art, gifsets, moodboards, etc.) will be accepted.
Here are some quick reminders of this event:
You don’t have to use every prompt that is given for each day, but you are more than welcome to if you want.
If you would like for us to reblog your work, then use the hashtags #marvelspookytober or #marvelspookytoberprompts. For an extra measure, since tracked tagging has been a bit wonky lately, then tag us in your post.
To make it easier for us Mods for when we reblog and tag your work, please state what day and prompt(s) you have filled. (ex: Day 4 - Group Costume or Day 23 - “Don't you dare touch my caramel apples.” || The 13th Floor)
You can also include your work in our AO3 collection here. Please state what day and prompt(s) you have filled in the ‘Summary’ section.
HERE is a link to a post that shows fic formatting examples. This format should be done since it provides information about what your work entails so people can avoid it if there’s something they aren’t comfortable with.
These prompts are free for anyone to use; however, we will only be reblogging Marvel related content.
Without further ado, here, under the cut, are this year’s prompts!
If you have any questions, feel free to drop by our ask.

Day 3: He’s Not That Scary
Movie: #Spooktacular Demonic: #Suptober20 “Come on let me scare a few trick or treaters.”: #marvelspookytober
Tony was always known for his outlandish parties, especially the holiday parties. Halloween being one of his favorites.  He usually liked to make them themed.  Last year was Greatest couples throughout history. This year’s theme was popular Horror movie characters. You decided you wanted to go as Carrie. So you bought your white dress and the supplies needed to make your bucket of fake blood and got ready for the party.
As soon as you were ready you headed downstairs stopping dead in your tracks when you saw Bucky in his costume.  His demonic take on the Captain America look was crazy and beyond terrifying. It was even more intimidating than his normal Winter Soldier look.
You grabbed your coats and started to head for the door when the doorbell rang and you could hear the kids on the other side. You went to get the bowl of candy when Bucky stopped you begging for you to let him answer the door.
“Come on let me scare a few of the trick or treaters.”
You couldn’t resist the puppy dog eyes he gave you so you let him answer the door. It was well worth it to hear the screams, followed by uncontrollable laughter.  You don’t know how enjoyed the reaction more, the kids or Bucky. It took you another ten minutes to get Bucky to leave so the two of you could get to the party.

Drink
Day 03 of the Marvel Spookytober | Saw / Beetlejuice / Vampire / Corn Maze / “Who wants to tell scary stories?”
---
“Drink.”
“No.”
“Drink that blood!”
“No!”
“Tony.”
“Stephen.”
“Are we going to argue like this all the night?”
“Maybe.” Tony mumbled, crossing his arms and turning around, giving Stephen cold shoulder.
This isn’t going anywhere. Stephen thought, shaking his head in defeat.
“Tony please” Stephen tried again begging this time, because at that point he was just desperate to let Tony drink the blood. “You are a new vampire, you need to drink fresh blood, or you are not going to survive like this… please.” Stephen ended, just slowly approaching Tony.
“Don’t you dare!” Tony hissed, turning around quickly, eyes flashing red with pure fury, just to swat away Stephen hand approaching his shoulder. “You are the one that turned me, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT PUT ME IN THIS FREAKING SITUATION STEPHEN.” Tony continued shouting, and pointing a weak finger in the direction of the other vampire. “YOU, YOU!!! AHHHHHH” Tony ended, jumping on Stephen, before sinking his fang in the other neck and starting to drink, drink, drink…and relax… finally.
Stephen at the outburst didn’t react, he just let everything happen, let the fury melt, the anger, the anguish, the betrayal, everything, till the moment the fang sank in the skin of his neck.
Tony body melted the more he drinked, relaxed, warmed, and the air around them calmed down.
“Well” Stephen started, sighing and going to circle his  free arm around Tony body to help the other adjust and continue his meal. “Not what I was hoping for, but better then nothing.” Ended with a little smile, going to drink the little bag he still held in the other hand. The one that Tony refused so hard.
“Done.” Tony announced after few minute passed drinking, with a little happy smile gracing his now bloody lips. “Happy?” Asked, going to bury his head in Stephen neck inhaling deeply.
“Very” Stephen announced, moving toward the bed, with Tony still clinging to his body. “But you know, you still need to drink other blood then mine right?”
“I know” Tony sighed “I know, but I…”
“I know” Stephen started, stopping Tony words “it’s ok, take your time my love.” Ended sitting on the edge of the bed, letting the now empty blood bag fall on the floor, just to be able to finally circle with both arms his beautiful heart. The only ray of sunshine left guiding in his dark life.

Title: All the Time in the Universe  Author: @aurorawest Rating: M (implied sexual content) Relationships: Loki/Stephen Strange Warnings: referenced temporary character death Prompt Filled: day 3, Eternal Relationship for @marvelspookytoberprompts Word Count: 2.2k Summary: Loki and Stephen have been together a long time. A long time. It never gets old.
Or, Loki and Stephen Strange, on the occasion of their 500th anniversary.
“What do you want to do today?” Stephen asked. “Five hundred years is a pretty big one.”
Smiling slightly, Loki said, “Yes, what is it, the vibranium anniversary?”
“I think that’s one hundred.”
read it on AO3
It had taken Loki a long time to learn a valuable, obvious lesson: you don’t know what the future holds. Even for someone like him, whose life would stretch out millennia, who would watch the rise and fall of shorter-lived beings and their technologies, their civilizations, their worlds, could experience great upheaval in mere moments. Life could take a swing at him and knock him, spinning, from the path that he was sure he’d been on; so sure that he’d never thought to look for other paths that the Norns may have paved for him.
Or not paved, as the case may have been. Some of those paths had been pretty rough, over the years. A slightly more trampled bit of ground to follow; markers on trees. It had rarely been clear.
And then sometimes it was.
Loki woke to the feeling of fingers running up and down his bare back. After all these years, he was attuned to those hands, to every twitch, every tremor; the good days and bad. This was a good day. They were hardly trembling at all, sure as they followed a line up his spine and then back down.
With a smile, Loki turned his face into his pillow, allowing himself to focus on nothing but the sensation of being touched. He felt lips, then the scratchiness of a beard, on his shoulder. “Happy five hundredth anniversary,” a voice said quietly.
Pressed against the pillow, his smile grew broader, but how was he supposed to pretend to remain asleep after that? Loki rolled over, his hand sliding along the familiar groove of Stephen Strange’s hip, as he faced his husband, the love of his very long life, his soul mate. “Counting from when?” Loki asked.
Stephen looked almost the same as the day Loki had pulled him from Valhalla—somewhere between fifty and fifty-five, gray just beginning to pepper his goatee and to spread from his temples to the rest of his hair. This belied his actual age—somewhere in the region of six hundred years old, not counting, obviously, the time he’d spent in Valhalla.
A smile pulling at his mouth, Stephen said, “March 20, 2030.”
“Ah. So this requires math.” There was the first fifty-two years. Stephen’s eight hundred years in Valhalla didn’t count, though Loki had been faithful to his memory all that time. How could he have so much as looked at anyone else after Stephen Strange?
Then there were the four hundred and forty-eight years that had come after Valhalla had burned, when Loki had been able to save one person. There were many he could have chosen. He felt guilty that he hadn’t considered any of them, even for a second. Not so guilty that he would have changed his decision, though, nor guilty enough to have ever regretted it.
“Uh huh.” Stephen’s eyes, blue in the light of the spaceship they had spent the last three years on, met Loki’s, wrinkles fanning out at the corners of them. It was so odd, such a continuous marvel, to wake up and see Stephen unchanged year after year—or at least, changed so slowly that it was almost imperceptible. He had refused Asgardian longevity in his first life, not that Loki had known how to grant it. He would have gone to the ends of the universe, to the ends of every universe, if Stephen had wanted it, though.
Things had changed. Valhalla was no more. Stephen had lived his life, had died, had gone there, and now lived again. A second life. This time, Loki had been able to grant the longevity—and Stephen had taken it. “I’m not going anywhere without you ever again,” he’d said as Loki had clutched at him. To be honest, Loki may not have given him the choice. Stephen had been dead for just over eight hundred years and not an hour had gone by that Loki hadn’t missed him in all those centuries; now that he had him back, now that he was flesh and blood and standing in front of Loki again, he would never let him go.
It had been a moot point though. Stephen had felt the same way.
“Mm.” Loki slid a hand over Stephen’s face, leaned forward, and kissed him. Stephen’s kiss was as slow as it had always been. Like they had all the time in the universe. Once they hadn’t. Now they did. Loki still kissed as insistently as he always had. “March 20, 2030,” Loki mused as he broke the kiss. “That’s a long time ago, now.”
“I remember it like it was yesterday,” Stephen said with a grin.
Loki rolled his eyes. “You remember everything, so that’s not saying all that much.”
Stephen’s grin grew more crooked and he wrapped an arm around Loki’s back, pulling Loki against him. Before Stephen had died, during that first life, Loki had mostly slept in pajamas. After Stephen’s resurrection, all Loki had wanted to do was be in physical contact with him, as much skin as possible touching at all times. Honestly, there may have been a six to seven day stretch at the beginning where they hadn’t gotten out of bed, too intent on remembering every plane, every nook and cranny, every dip of bone and muscle, every scar, on each other’s bodies.
With that photographic memory of his, Stephen had had a distinct advantage—that, and the fact that Loki’s body had never changed all that much to begin with. While Stephen’s body had been in a constant state of aging, Loki had remained static. The curse and the benefit of being Asgardian. But Loki had never forgotten what Stephen could do to him, and Stephen had breathed, halfway through the first time, that no amount of remembering could ever make up for the real thing.
Anyway. They were marginally better at keeping their hands off each other these days. Marginally. But one of Loki’s favorite parts of the day was getting undressed and sliding under the sheets, feeling Stephen’s warm skin against his.
Of course, Loki had changed. He’d gotten older, in those eight hundred years. For the duration of their first five decades together, Stephen had always appeared older, aging at a normal human rate, the apparent gap of years between them growing more and more jarring as Loki remained eternally, to all appearances, a man in his thirties.
Now, they appeared the same age. Stephen had chosen to remain fifty years old in Valhalla, which Loki hadn’t ever asked about, because he assumed he knew why—it was the age that Stephen had been when the two of them had finally come together. They aged at the same rate now.
Loki had worried at one time that Stephen would get bored with it. With him. After all, Stephen was still human. Nothing about him had evolved or developed for this kind of eternal relationship, being with the same person day in and day out, the same body, the same personality quirks. The slow march of years and of being surrounded by the same people was something Loki was built for. And if Stephen had grown bored with him, Loki wouldn’t have stopped him from leaving. It would have broken his heart, of course, but that was nothing new. Loki was a bit of a perpetual victim of a broken heart.
So far, the worry had turned out to be baseless.
“What do you want to do today?” Stephen asked. “Five hundred years is a pretty big one.”
Smiling slightly, Loki said, “Yes, what is it, the vibranium anniversary?”
“I think that’s one hundred.”
Loki chuckled and played with the hair at the back of Stephen’s neck. “I’m not sure there’s all that much to do. We’re in deep space. We’re so far outside the jump network that it would take months to get back to anything we knew.” Running his fingers through Stephen’s hair, he added, “It’s times like this that I miss our sling rings, I’ll be honest.”
“Yeah.” Stephen kissed him again. “Then again, all my favorite restaurants are closed in the Village, now. There’s not much point in even visiting anymore. The neighborhood’s really changed.”
“The neighborhood is under water,” Loki snorted.
“I think they pulled off kind of a Venice-y thing with the canals.”
Manhattan was actually quite pretty these days, but Stephen was right—it wasn’t his Manhattan, and it wasn’t Loki’s either. Even though Loki had lived on Earth far longer than Stephen had, his Manhattan would always be 21st century Manhattan, the one he’d walked with Stephen as they’d gotten to know each other, as they’d fallen in love without realizing what was happening.
Though he wouldn’t mind a slice of pizza right now, if he was being honest.
“What do you want to do?” Loki asked. When a sly smile pulled at Stephen’s mouth, the same smile that had led to Loki shedding his clothes at the merest hint of it for five hundred years, Loki said, “I mean, obviously. In between doing that.”
In a musing tone, Stephen said, “How about…we list our five hundred favorite moments together.”
Wrinkling his nose, Loki said, “I may be sentimental, Strange, but I’m not nauseating. Try again.”
Stephen laughed. “You just know I’d win.”
“Oh, so it’s a competition to see who can come up with our relationship’s most romantic moments?”
“Absolutely.” Stephen’s fingers stroked Loki’s back. “There’s a prize for participating.”
“Oh?” Loki asked. “Is it sex? Because it seems to me that I’m getting that regardless.”
“It’s really great sex.”
A smile twitched at Loki’s mouth. “This feels rather like an attempt to trap me into saying we always have great sex.”
“I mean.” With a flash of a grin, Stephen said, “If you want to, I’ll let you cheat and say that all five hundred of our best moments were in bed.”
Arching an eyebrow, Loki replied, “In bed being merely shorthand in his case, I assume? We’ve had our fair share of…moments in places besides bed.”
His fingers slipping lower, Stephen said, “Remember that time at the US Capitol—?”
Loki laughed. “Those hearings about magic, yes. How could I forget? It was endlessly entertaining watching them tie themselves in knots over my testimony. They had no idea of what questions to ask, let alone the knowledge to understand my answers.” Rolling his eyes, he added, “Fools.”
“Sturdy sinks in the bathrooms, though,” Stephen said.
“That was the only worthwhile part of the whole ordeal.”
With a chuckle, Stephen asked, “So where are we putting that one on the list? Mid three hundreds?”
Pursing his lips, Loki replied, “Oh, I think at least two hundred and eighty.”
“Okay, okay,” Stephen said. “I guess it’s not every day that the Senate Minority Leader congratulates you on scoring during the recess.”
Loki’s hands, still playing idly with Stephen’s hair, stilled. “That didn’t happen.”
Stephen raised his eyebrows. “Swear to god. He looked jealous. I think he was into you.”
Slipping a hand over Stephen’s neck to rest his fingers on the side of Stephen’s face, Loki said, “Well. You know you’re the only human I’ve ever had eyes for.” When Stephen smiled softly, Loki leaned forward and kissed him, taking his time for once. Five hundred years of kissing Stephen like this—he could do it for five hundred thousand.
“You know I couldn’t possibly limit myself to five hundred of our best moments, even if I was inclined to engage in something so saccharine,” Loki finally murmured, his eyes closed.
“That is sentimental,” Stephen said. His nose brushed Loki’s, and then the two of them were kissing again slowly. All the time in the universe.
“We’re pretty good together, aren’t we?” Stephen finally asked, minutes later. It might have been longer. If time had a tendency to stand still on these long haul space missions, then the tendency was exacerbated by their hands and mouths on each other.
This bit of understatement made Loki grin. “Well, we have had five hundred years to perfect this,” he said. Unspoken was the fact that they would only get better over the next five hundred, and the five hundred after that.
Loki supposed he still hadn’t answered Stephen’s question about what he wanted to do for this anniversary. Kissing Stephen again quickly, Loki said, “Get up. We’ll have breakfast.”
“Maybe your brother will call and wish us happy anniversary,” Stephen said.
Rolling his eyes good-naturedly, Loki said, “Probably. I suppose we should be dressed if that comes to pass.”
Stephen shifted in bed, propping himself up on an elbow to look down at Loki. Then, running a hand from Loki’s shoulder, down his chest, Stephen said, “I love you.”
Loki put his hand over Stephen’s, which had come to rest over his heart. There was nothing he could do but smile. He had this. It was more than he’d ever thought possible, certainly more than he’d ever thought he deserved. It was everything. “Happy anniversary, Stephen,” Loki said.
Sometimes the path was clear. What the two of them had been signposted for a long time.
Even though he’d just told him to get up, Loki wrapped his arms around Stephen and pulled him back down on top of him.

14. Tear-stained/“Are we lost or do you know where we are?”
Brock’s steps were careful as he walked through the dark forest. His tactical flashlight gave just enough light not to trip over tree roots curled over the ground. He strained his eyes, but he couldn’t see much in the distance, and definitely not his missing teammates. His comm relayed nothing but static, and he tried to stay aware of both it and the sounds of nature around him.
He froze when a dry branch snapped behind him. Now, that he stopped and listened, he heard footsteps coming his way. He turned around and goggled at the darkness. His heart hammered in his chest even though he knew it must have been one of his lost teammates; who else would wander about so deep in the forest in a middle of the night?
“Mommy?!” A scared three-year-old boy ran through the dark forest. He tripped, fell on his face and started sobbing.
Brock shook his head lightly, chasing the memory away like a pesky fly. He raised his flashlight, and a silhouette slowly entered the illuminated area. Brock sighed in relief at the sight of his second-in-command.
“Long time no see,” he quipped. “Where’s the rest of the guys?”
“I thought they were with you.” Jack stopped in front of him. “So I’m not the only one who got separated?”
Brock shook his head and motioned for Jack to follow him. They walked in silence for a moment.
“Are we lost or do you know where we are?” Jack asked.
Brock shrugged. “We’re in a forest.”
Jack snorted. “Cute. I knew we were walking in circles.”
“How did that even happen? We’ve never gotten fucking lost befor— Brock trailed off when his comm crackled to life. He heard a breath, then a voice.
“Alpha two to alpha one, do you copy? Does this thing work?”
“Something’s wrong?”
Brock’s eyes shot up to Jack’s face. “What isn’t? Hey, does your comm work?”
Jack shook his head. As he did, Brock noticed there was no comm in his ear. So he’s lost it, and there was someone else using his…
“Alpha two to alpha one, do you copy? Over.”
Someone with an identical voice.
Brock clenched his jaw and held his flashlight tighter. As he studied Jack out of the corner of his eye, he noticed another thing missing.
“Hey, where’s your flashlight?”
Jack looked at him in surprise. “It died,” he said.
“The battery was new,” Brock protested.
Jack nodded at the one Brock was holding. “Yours is dim as well.”
Brock pretended to buy it. He kept discreetly watching Jack. The more he looked, the more details were off. He seemed bigger, somehow. He lacked the equipment. And he was the one leading the way. With one eye trained on him to make sure he wasn’t looking, Brock fished a compass out of his pocket and glanced. They were way off course.
“Alpha two to alpha one. I’m following somebody’s trail leading southeast.”
“Don’t!”
Jack looked at him with his eyebrows raised. “Don’t what?”
“Brock? I’m trying to find you. What are your coordinates? Over.”
Jack’s voice in Brock’s ear was only a little louder than his own heartbeat as he stared back at the Jack-like person accompanying him.
“It’s Collins.” He tapped his comm. “I’m telling him not to look for us and stay on course.”
The Jack-like person nodded and continued on their way, having lost interest. Now Brock knew he wasn’t Jack.
Collins wasn’t with them.
“Brock? Do you copy?”
Brock swallowed thickly and quickly decided he could afford the risk of asking for help. If it came to blows, he was sure he could take the guy pretending to be Jack.
“Collins, don’t wander about. Keep going southwest, this is the only way we can all find each other.”
He held his breath, waiting for the response and watching ‘Jack’. He kept leading them southwest without looking back, but soon, he was bound to figure out he had been made.
Jack’s answer came with a small delay. “Copy.”
Brock caught up to ‘Jack’ and, as they walked in silence, he weighed the pros and cons of trying to lose him. He was becoming more and more obvious, but he hoped the—spy, he supposed—was incompetent enough to fall for every lie he fed him. So, with his shoulders tense, he nudged ‘Jack’ in the side.
“I heard something, did you?”
‘Jack’ stopped and faced Brock, looking a little annoyed. “No.”
“I think it was that way.” Brock pointed north. “Go check it out. Maybe it’s our teammates.”
‘Jack’ raised his eyebrow. “Are you trying to get rid of me?”
...Damn. “Now, why would I do that?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Perhaps because you know I’m not your friend.”
Brock stepped back, bracing himself for a fight. If the guy was as good a fighter as he was a spy, then he wasn’t worried. And even if the fight would go south, the real Jack was on his way to find him.
More or less.
‘Jack’ grabbed his wrist so fast Brock only registered it when it was too late. But the move left him open, which was a common mistake. Brock punched him right on the nose, but his hold didn’t let up. He was barely fazed, in fact. Brock watched with dismay as the skin on his nose split and curled away, revealing red flesh. It kept breaking and falling off, and his eyelids crumbled and turned to ash.
“What the fuck!”
Brock dropped the flashlight and freed himself just when ‘Jack’s’ eyeball fell out of its socket, but he tripped over a root as he tried to run backwards. He dropped on the ground, and ‘Jack’ pinned him with his own body within half a second. He opened his mouth wide, so wide that all Brock could see was the darkness inside him.
Suddenly, he was standing up again. Orange rays of the setting sun shined through the thick woods. His mother was kneeling in front of him with her hands on his little shoulders. Her features were blurry.
“Just stay right here, Brock,” she said. “Mommy will be right back.”
He watched her as she stood up and walked down the muddy path. It scared him.
“Mommy!” he called and followed her, but she turned around to glare daggers at him.
“Stay there!” she barked. “I’ll be right back!”
Brock stopped in his tracks as his fear of her fought against the fear of being left alone. He watched as she disappeared behind the trees and waited for her to come back until the night fell and he could barely see a thing. He was cold and hungry, and she wasn’t coming back.
“Mommy!” he called as he walked—almost ran—the same way she had gone so many hours ago. He tripped, fell on his face, and started sobbing when a sharp branch pierced his cheek.
Then light dissipated the darkness, and when he looked up, he saw Jack hovering over him.
“Are you hurt?” he asked.
Brock slowly sat up and inspected himself, then shook his head. Wondering what the hell had just happened, he wiped his wet face, thankful Jack didn’t comment on it.
Jack turned away and kicked something lying beside him. “What the hell is that?”
Brock realized what it was when Jack’s flashlight illuminated the eyeless, fleshy face. “I thought it was you.”
Jack raised his eyebrow. “Ha-fucking-ha. I’m not that ugly.”
Brock scrambled back onto his feet. Dirt and decomposing leaves stuck to his tear-stained gloves, so he wiped them on his pants. “I’m serious. It really looked like you. I thought it was some kinda high tech mask, but…” He kicked the ‘body’. Parts of it crumbled to ash.
Jack winced. “When you think you saw everything, SHIELD treats you to this.”
He turned away from the remains and looked around. His next words sent a chill down Brock’s spine.
“Are we lost or do you know where we are?”

Not scared
Relationship: Sam/Bucky
Prompt: Day 1: "I'm not scared."
Rating: General Audience
Warnings: None
Words: 100
A/N: Nothing spooky on the first day, but a rather cute drabble. Hope you enjoy anyway!
"I'm not scared." James Buchanan Barnes insisted, even as he climbed onto Sam's lap. He wrapped his arms around his boyfriend and pressed himself against him as close as possible.
"I didn't even say anything." Sam remarked with a slight smirk. One of his hands immediately going into Bucky's hair, running his fingers through it.
"But you were thinking it." Bucky muttered. He couldn't help but relax a little now.
Instead of answering verbally Sam looked at his boyfriend with a smile. He pressed a kiss into Bucky's hair before focusing back on the horror movie they were watching.

Day 4: Murder She Wrote
Candy: #spooktacular Murder/Unsolved Mystery: #marvelspookytober
It happened every two years. A week before Halloween several of them would come up missing. The windows and doors were securely locked yet somehow the females were stolen out of their beds with no trace of forced entry.  The next day they were found not far from their homes with their heads ripped clean off. Their hair matted around their face and no trace of blood.  Murdered, a mystery that to this day has been unsolved. The only clue left behind were the stack of candy wrappers thrown in a pile by the heads.
Maria had her suspicions, as to who, what, and why, but it could never be proven. Either way she was determined to find the sick monster before another one of your precious barbies fell victim to the hideous barbie serial killer.

Day 2: Halloween Traditions
Halloween PJ’s: #spooktacular Haunted House: #MarvelSpookytober
Your new best friend and roommate had been living on earth for the past six months and was new to the traditions of holiday traditions.  You told Thor that Halloween was your favorite holiday so he made it a point to understand all the traditions, even though he thought it odd for one to dress up in funny clothes and go from home to home to beg for candy.
He was willing to do all the traditions that you set before him.  You made the plans starting with going out to find the perfect costumes for the two of you. Thor of course had to give you a hard time for dressing up as your favorite Avengers hero; Hawkeye. It was so authentic all the way down to the quiver of arrows.  For some reason Thor decided it was a good idea to dress up as Robin Hood.
From there the two of you were going to meet up with your other friends and would be heading over to the Haunted Houses.  Thor complained the whole time about the need to stand in line for such an event and how ridiculous it was for one to have to stand there for so long. However once your group got inside he had a different tune.  He laughed as each character jumped out at them as they walked through the house. When they finally got towards the end the room was pitch dark and completely silent and you could hear Thor screaming like a girl till your group made it to the exit.
The two of you went back home and ended the night in your Halloween pj’s sitting in front of the tv watching scary movies and binging on junk food for the rest of the night.  From then on Thor could not wait until it was Halloween again.

Costume Hunting
Day 6: Costume Hunting
Tumblr media
Halloween was one of your favorite holidays and you had a tradition. You would go home and call your favorite pizza place, grab all the chocolate, candy, popcorn and soda you could find and would plant your butt on your couch with your pillow and blanket and a handful of your favorite movies.
This year though one of your Natasha, one of your co-workers convinced you to attend a Halloween party with her.  You weren’t sure if you really wanted to go, the party required a costume and you always had a hard time finding the right one. You knew there was no way you would be able to get a costume at such short notice so you went into your closet and found the garment bag you had pushed back there years ago when you last wore it.
That morning you decorated your home with your Halloween decorations then went and got dressed for the party.  As you left you turned on the lights and set the bowl of candy out on the front porch then headed to the party.  You saw the usual costumes, vampires, superheroes, witches, and etc. As you walked around the room to find someone you knew you finally ran into Natasha and noticed that she was dressed as Ewoyn and to your Arwen. Who knew Natasha was into the same fandom much like yourself.

Day 5: Story Time
Day 5: Story Time Scary Book: #spooktacular Supernatural Beings: #marvelspookytober
Tumblr media
Your grandmother had passed away leaving all her belongings to you. So now it was your job to go through her things.  She had so much junk that it was going to take you hours to go through everything.  You were lucky that Clint and a few of your other friends had offered to help or it would have taken you days to go through it all.
Everyone else had long since gone home except for Clint. He’d be the one to come in early or stay late. Out of all your friends he was the one you could always count on. The attic was the last area to go through and held the most interesting and oldest items from your grandmother’s life.  Half way through all the dusty trunks and antiques Clint found an old leather bound book with scary letters and symbols and locked only to be opened by a key. A key that your grandmother had given to you when you were just a teen.
You didn’t know it back then what it was for, think it was just some cute necklace that your grandmother had given you, but now...now you knew what it was for.  You were reluctant to open the book, but Clint’s curious nature overtook him and he was already prying the damn book open.
A few moments later and sweat dripping off his brow, the book flew open and the room’s temperature seemed to have dropped several degrees, causing an eerie chill in the air and you could see your breath in front of you. The two of you had a weird feeling that someone was watching you and you wanted to leave the attic immediately.
For weeks after leaving the attic you felt as though someone was watching your every move and things were moved from where you had put them. When you met up with Clint at Tony’s party that weekend you found out that he was experiencing the same things.
As much as the two of you tried you couldn’t enjoy the party. There was just an odd feeling that overcame the two of you, midway through the night things seemed to take a turn for the worse.  The lights began to flicker and the room got colder. Suddenly you didn’t know what was real and what wasn’t. You even thought you saw your dead grandmother.
Maybe it was the alcohol or the lights playing tricks on you. So you went to the restroom to splash some water on your face, but instead of your own face in the mirror, your grandmother was staring back at you. You couldn’t hear her, all you could do was read her lips and make out the words “the book and destroy”. She had to be talking about the book that you and Clint found in her attic.  Ever since the two of you opened that book all the strange things had started.
It was up to the two of you now to find that book and destroy it before midnight, before whatever the two of you let loose wreaked havoc all over the world. The two of you scrambled around trying to find that book, running through the halls dodging flying objects and spooks on the loose when you found the book. One minute left till midnight you threw the book into the fire and watched it burn.
