idk if people ever post about andi mack on here anymore but it’s actually insane the emotional impact that show had on me. I’ve watched a lot of tv and have cried at many finales but AM made me absolutely sob. I cried randomly for days afterwards and felt an emptiness inside of me when it ended. And let’s not forget about tyrus. The emotional investment I had in their story was far superior to any other ship in any other show I’d seen before. And now that it’s been 3 years since the finale I can confidently say: there still had not been a show or ship that had made me feel that way since. there was something so special about andi mack and the friendom on tumblr and the community we had created. I’m re-reading and old tyrus fanfic rn so it’s got me reminiscing about the past lol. Just wanted to say 3 years post-finale that I still love and appreciate andi mack more than anyone will ever truly know.

Marty and Andi being besties

Andi doesn’t know a lot about Marty besides the times he’s hung out with her and Buffy and what Buffy’s told her about him

She does know that after Buffy and Marty stopped talking, he reached out to Andi to ask how she’s doing every now and then. that made her like him quite a bit

When Buffy moved, she new a momento from Marty would probably be nice, and when Marty got back to her she could tell he was sad she’d be leaving

She didn’t tell Buffy, but she did tell Marty when she came back to stay, and that she had liked his contribution

After Andi’s party, Marty hung out with their group a lot more

One day he asked Andi individually to hangout and she was. Very confused.

She hesitantly accepted this offer and when the day came and they met up she was like why did u ask me to hangout lol

And he said that she’s really important to Buffy and he didn’t know a lot about her and he wanted to make an effort (he said he was gonna do the same with Cyrus and Jonah)

Andi thought that was really sweet of him

The problem was they didn’t have a whole lot in common and had no idea what to do

They had met up at The Spoon and spent an award 10 minutes sipping milkshakes and occasionally sharing stories about Buffy or talking about school

Marty tried asking about some of Andi’s art projects but the conversation fell a little flat

Then Andi got an idea where to go

They ended up going to that VR arcade place again and Andi let out her competitive side

They spent about an hour there and despite a few awkward moments, the tension mostly had gone away and they both had a nice time

They don’t hangout much one on one, but when they’re out with the rest of the group they’ll often bring up an inside joke that hatched that day which left the group confused and Buffy interested (Andi told her later because she couldn’t help it)

Marty also helped Andi with a little project she was doing for Buffy’s birthday

She knew Buffy didn’t like the flashy stuff so she kept it small but she did enlist Marty’s help for some of it and they had fun with that

Marty is a special brand of chaos that Andi appreciated but they haven’t found their dynamic yet. But they’re pals I know it in my heart

Andi Mack: Buffy Driscoll - Type 3w4

Buffy is competitive, ambitious, protective and determined. Buffy always strives to be the best in all that she does (especially basketball), but is also always there for her friends.

At her best, Buffy realises that being the best isn’t everything and becomes less competitive in some of her relationships.

At her worst, Buffy can be a bit rash and can jump to conclusions, as we see when she assumes Marty stole her shoes and decides to get revenge by soaking his shoes.

Buffy is really protective of her friends and often stands up for them, as we see in her friendships with Cyrus and Andi. Buffy is also very trustworthy which we can see when she vows to not tell Cyrus’ secret. She also ends up breaking up with Walker because she doesn’t like the way it is impacting her friendship with Andi.  

Buffy always tries pushes herself to do her best, as we see when she wants to join the boys’ basketball team. Buffy is accepted onto the team, but is virtually ignored by her teammates (in large part due to TJ being threatened). Instead, Buffy decides to make her own girls’ team because she’s a trailblazer. Initially, Buffy is disappointed because she thinks her team is bad, but as the season progresses, Buffy realises it’s more important to have a team bond and becomes a very good coach, leading to them winning their first match. 

Buffy has always felt like she has had to be strong and confident because her mother was deployed. As a result, Buffy doesn’t like to be vulnerable as we see when she doesn’t want to say goodbye to Andi and Cyrus. She also doesn’t want her last memories with them to be negative. Luckily, Buffy is able to stay friends with them and is better equipped to move on when Andi says she’s leaving.

Buffy shows her wing 4 as she is more achievement-oriented and reserved than a 3w2.

I'm so sorry this took forever but here it is :)

Tyrus:

TJ 👏🏼 proposed 👏🏼 in front 👏🏼 of 👏🏼 their 👏🏼 friends 👏🏼 in 👏🏼 summer

The group (minus Cyrus) helped him get the ring and they set it all up like it was a casual get together when he popped the question

Boy did Cyrus cry

They were planning like the next day and made Jonah their planner bc it was free of charge and he was willing

Andi made these lil pride theme things to be dotted around in the wedding reception

Buffy was TJ's best woman and Jonah was Cyrus's best man they were both more than honoured

Their wedding was simple and a lot of family and friends came

Cyrus was given away by his mom both TJ and Cyrus lowkey cried

Jonah highkey cried he was stressed bc he planned it he wanted it to go well but he was so so proud of his best friend

For TJ and Cyrus's first dance Jonah sang lemon boy

Muffy:

I strongly feel like Buffy proposed to Marty idk they don't like to make a huge deal out of things so Buffy just asked Marty was like "yea sure"

Jonah was having nONE OF THIS he also helped them plan since Cyrus and TJ gave good reviews

He swore their wedding would be the death of him

Buffy and Marty had a lot of family combined so highkey it was PACKED

In the end they went with a cute winter theme in December with white and blue

Andi made more crafts bc she insists

Buffy of course made Andi and Buffy bridesmaids and TJ was Marty's best man let's say they got closer over the years

Marty cried so much that day Buffy did too of course but Marty was balling because he was so happy

I like to think they danced to an Ed Sheeran song for their first dance

Ambi:

Amber propsed to Andi in a really cute way TJ was the only person who knew but she did it when they went out to dinner then a walk in the park it was so cuteeee

They tell everyone and like imagine it goes something like:

Andi: we're getting married

Jonah: *throws his hands up* I'll get my wedding binder

It wasn't as hard to plan the wedding bc Amber and Andi knew what they wanted and Andi mainly helped Jonah

Amber helped Andi make most of the decorations

They went with an Autumn theme with all Orange and yellow colours

Andi made Buffy and Libby her bridesmaids bc Libby and Andi met up again at SAVA and stayed friends

Amber had some friends from college as her bridesmaids

This was also a small wedding with close friends and family Bowie gave Andi away

Their first dance was a girl in red song idk which one but definitely girl in red

In the end once they were all married they threw Jonah his own little party to thank him for putting in so much effort

He 100% cried again
