#saturdaynight drams and I get a lot of questions about #japanesewhisky and what to drink or buy. To me the 4 to focus on are #suntorywhisky who produce #hibiki, #hakushu and #yamazaki. Then #nikkawhisky which does #nikkayoichi and #nikkamiyagikyo. Then one of the funnest is #ichirosmaltchichibu they do tons of #singlecask whisky and special editions. Then last but by no means least the mighty #karuizawa whiskies. Use these 4 as your guide as their are now a ton of faux Japanese whisky trying to ride the wave and it’s all bullshit pisswater. You will see all the fake #whisky in grocery stores and places like Costco, don’t be confused, trust me it’s no good. There are 2 other Japanese ones, #akashi and #marsshinshu which I don’t drink or collect but I have heard are good. Be smart and aware, it’s not getting pretty out there with the huge demand for Japanese whisky. Restaurants are pulling the same shit too, with faux Japanese whiskies on their menus.
