बिहेकै पहिरनमा ३३ देश घुमेर हनिमुन, सगरमाथादेखि अफ्रिकासम्म

दुनियामा सायद यस्ता भाग्यमानी जोडी कमै हुन्छन् । अमेरिकाको न्युजर्सीमा बस्ने निक अस्ट र उनकी नव विवाहित पत्नी जोको हनिमुन सायद विश्वकै पहिलो यस्तो हनिमुन होला जो विभिन्न ३३ वटा देशमा मनाइयो ।

निक र जोले हाइस्कुलमै पढ्दा एकअर्कालाई माया गरेका थिए र भविष्यमा बिहे गर्ने योजना बनाएका थिए । बिहे मात्र होइन, बिहेपछि भव्य हनिमुन मनाउनका लागि उनीहरुले त्यतिबेलादेखि नै पैसा जम्मा गर्न थालेका थिए ।

सन् २०१६ मा उनीहरुको इनगेजमेन्ट भयो र डिसेम्बर २०१७ मा बिहे भयो । त्यसपछि सन् २०१८ को जनवरीमा उनीहरु हनिमुनका लागि विश्व भ्रमणमा निस्किए । उनीहरुले विभिन्न ३३ वटा देशमा बिहे पहिरनमै भ्रमण गरी हनिमुन मनाए । थाइल्याण्डबाट यात्रा सुरुवात गरेको त्यो जोडी नेपाल आएर सगरमाथाको आधार शिविरसम्म पनि पुग्यो ।

Everyone asks us the highlight of our trip and it was probably this moment right here. We took multiple helicopters from Kathmandu, Nepal to Kalapathar to get a close up view of Mt Everest and the surrounding Himalayan mountains. Even though this moment in particular lasted all of 5 minutes & we even had trouble breathing

(due to the high altitude of close to 20,000 feet), it was like none other. To experience Everest close up like this was indescribable and for those who don’t have weeks to trek to base camp, it’s the perfect day trip from the capital of Nepal!

इन्स्टाग्राममा उनीहरुले सगरमाथा आधार शिविरको फोटो राखेका छन् र यहाँको अनुभव वर्णन गरेर नसकिने उल्लेख गरेका छन् । उनीहरुले लेखेका छन्, ‘हामीले माउन्ट एभरेष्ट र आसपासका हिमाललाई नजिकबाट हेर्न काठमाडौंबाट कालापत्थरसम्म हेलिकोप्टर लगेर गयौं । भलै यो क्षण विशेष रुपमा पाँच मिनेटसम्म मात्र थियो, हामीलाई सास फेर्न पनि गाह्रो भएको थियो -२० हजार फिटको उचाइको कारण) ।यो अरु जस्तो थिएन । नजिकबाट सगरमाथा हेर्दाको अनुभव वर्णन गरेर सकिँदैन ।’

उनीहरु स्पेनको बार्सिलोना, दुबई, इटाली, फ्रान्स, टर्की, इण्डोनेसिया, जापान, गि्रस, न्युजिल्याण्ड, अस्ट्रेलिया, अस्टि्रया, सर्बिया, दक्षिण अफि्रका, इजरायल, सिंगापुर, इजिप्ट, श्रीलंका, भारत, स्विटजरल्याण्ड लगायतका देशमा पनि पुगे ।

आफूहरुको सम्बन्ध विशेष रहेको र जीवनमा केवल एकपटक मात्र बिहेको पहिरन लगाउनु पर्याप्त नभएको भन्दै उनीहरु पूरै १० महिनासम्म विश्व भ्रमण गरे बिहे पहिरनमै ।

त्यो जोडी अहिले अमेरिका फर्किसकेको छ । उनीहरु न्युजर्सीबाट न्युयोर्कको ब्रुकलिनमा सरेका छन् । आफ्नो यात्रालाई भविष्यमा पनि निरन्तरता दिने सोच रहेको उनीहरु बताउँछन् ।

Bride re-wears her wedding dress in 33 countries for stunning photos around the world

When you’re spending a load of money on a wedding dress, it makes sense to get as much wear out of it as possible.

Learn from Zoe Aust, who wore the dress from her special day in 33 countries, all so she could take stunning wedding photos around the world.

Here’s hoping she’ll continue to wear it for every photo from now on. A selfie in McDonald’s while wearing lace sounds incredible.

Zoe and her now-husband Nick came up with the idea of global wedding photos on their very first date, when they joked that if things worked out, they would travel the world together. Sweet.

They got engaged in 2016, married in 2017, and after that Nick decided to fulfill that promise from their first date.

The couple packed up their things – wedding dress included – and set off around the world, starting with Thailand.

‘Life is too short to only wear your wedding dress once,’ said Zoe. ‘And the world is too big to only stay in your little town your whole entire life.

‘Our hope is that when people see our pictures they feel nothing but inspired to explore a new place, try a new hobby and fulfill that dream they’ve always had.’

In each location, the couple posed together in their glad rags for a project they called MarryMeIn.

They were surprised that the wedding dress stayed intact throughout the journey, which took them to Barcelona, Rome, Dubai, Mount Everest, and the Great Wall of China.

The couple’s journey lasted until October 2018 when they finished their trip in the Seychelles.

That won’t be the end of their travels, though. Nick and Zoe plan to keep exploring the world together – just perhaps without having to lug a wedding dress around with them.

‘There are many things that we’ve loved about this project, like people telling us they’d love to do the same thing one day or the cool relationships we’ve built with people,’ said Nick

‘But, to be completely honest, our favorite thing about this project was that every photoshoot – we got the chance to put back on the outfits we wore on our wedding day.

‘That was by far the best day of both of our lives and to be able to re-live that day in some of the most beautiful places in the world is really what made us so happy about the whole thing.’
