Personal Hans Week: 1. Holiday

Check out the Holiday story by @freckledsaint : archiveofourown.org/works/36164770 This is such a lovely short story full of nostalgia and bittersweet feelings with married Anna (with Kristoff) and married Hans meeting again after over a decade not seeing each other 💖 It captures both the joy and sadness a holiday gathering can bring 🎄 😭

My holiday prompt is a bit early since Fastelavn doesn’t start until February, but I wanted to explore a holiday Southern Isles might celebrate! Hans, was told by Maron (12th Westergaard Prince), a lie that they put real cats in the barrel they hit for candy. Hans is rightfully horrified. Emil (9th Westergaard Prince) is trying to calm him down. Harald (11th Westergaard Prince) is greedily hoarding all the candy while Maron is dying laughing.

Personal Hans Week - 6. Sibling Rivalry

I always enjoy when we get to learn more about Hans and his brothers and their relation with each other! It was perfect having Emil versus Hans here as they both have similarities yet differences as we find out. And of course any Hans/Murphy moments are instant A++ 👌💖

I finally got the chance to draw the meme that’s been on my list for so long but forgot about until now! I could not for the life of me find a blank version of the chaotic meeting with Alex Hirsh image, but this is what it’s based off ;D It’s not easy having to work with your family no matter how well you all get along >_>;

From left to right: 

Hans (13th) - He’s got things to say and he WILL be heard.

Henrik (5th) - Running off on 1 hour sleep and 3 cups of coffee, he already has had enough of everyone’s horrible opinions.

Klaus (1st) - Doing his best to be the mediator and actually trying to get work done.

Josef (3rd) - More interested in going back to work on his new ship, but is still worried for Klaus’ rising stress level.

Maron (12th) - Disagrees with everyone, especially Hans, on almost everything and keeps talking louder the more frustrated he becomes. 

Markus (10th) - Did his best to speak up, but everyone ends up talking over him. He is tired of all the human interaction and just wants to go back outside to tend to his garden.

Personal Hans Week - 4. Perfectionist/Overachiever

I am so excited to be introduced to another brother with lots of scene time!! We talked about him so much and finally got to meet our dear Albert 💝

If any of you have seen or read KareKano (Karenshi Kanojou no Jijou) then you will know what helped me inspire this prompt (specifically the main character, Yukino Miyazawa). I portrayed Hans around 15 years old here and at the height of him being obsessed with getting attention, praised, validated and going above and beyond to be the ‘perfect’ prince. Of course his family knows what he is doing and are not fooled XD

Personal Hans Week - 4. Family/Childhood

And the lore and world building of the Southern Isles snuck in there is the cherry on top *chef kiss*

*First piece takes place after Frozen film and is a scene of Hans returning home and the brothers who are home, welcome him back in different ways XD 

From left to right:  Maron (12th) - A supernatural/folklore hunter, wants to hear of the magic Hans had encountered 

Klaus (1st) - A nervous wreck and would not be calmed until he saw Hans safely returned home, especially after receiving news of what had happened 

Emil (9th) - A skilled tailor and fashion designer who lives off of gossip and current events. 

Henrik (5th) - Tired from another all nighter studying arts and politics, he does not have the energy to deal with the excitement.
