almost let myself get bogged down in whether or not Quincy would justify her violence using her religion’s creed before I remembered one crucial detail:
#she’s so stupid in a very specific way and i love her so much!!!#I was stressed about whether she’d like get all down and dirty in theology about killing one of the bad guys in book 3#and then i was like wait#we went through this in prophet and her basic thought process whittled down to ‘it seemed like the only option at the time’#‘and anyway it’s over now so stop lecturing me marlowe’#marlowe: hey this seems like a big theological deal what are your thoughts? Quincy: thoughts? in my head? it’s less likely than you think#but yeah i think she’ll obviously have a thought process about it#but even if she gets anxious about the decision it’ll be because she’s worried about how it’ll affect her mission#not whether or not killing the guy was justified
