i got rickrolled today but it didn't work because i have adblocker installed, so youtube just told me i violated the terms of service. yesterday i was trying to edit a picture as a joke for my girlfriend, and google made me check a box to prove i'm human because i wasn't "searching normally".
it isn't just that capitalism is killing fun and whimsy, it is that any element of entertainment or joy is being fed upon by this mosquito body, one that will suck you dry at any vulnerability.
do you want to meet new friends in your city? download this app, visit our website, sign up for our email list. pay for this class on making a terrarium, on candlemaking, on cooking. it will be 90 dollars a session. you can go to group fitness, but only under our specific gym membership. solve the puzzle, sign up for our puzzle-of-the-month-club. what is a club if not just a paid opportunity - you are all paying for the same thing, which makes you a community.
but you're like me, i know it - you're careful, you try the library meetings and the stuff at the local school and all of that. the problem is that you kind of want really specific opportunities that used to exist. you are so grateful for libraries and the publicly-funded things: they are, however, an exception - and everything they have, they've fought tooth-and-nail to protect. you read a headline about how in many other states, libraries have virtually nothing left.
do you want to meet up with your friends afterwards? gift your friends the discord app. you can choose to go to a cafe (buy a coffee, at least), a bar (money, alcohol) or you can all stay in and catch a movie (streaming) or you can all stay in bed (rent. don't get me started) and scream (noise complaint. ticket at least).
you want to read a new book, but the book has to have 124 buzzwords from tiktok readers that are, like, weirdly horny. you can purchase this audiobook on audible! your podcast isn't on spotify, it's on its own server, pay for a different site. fuck, at least you're supporting artists you like. the art museum just raised their ticket price. once, they had a temporary exhibit that acknowledged that ~85% of their permanent art galleries were from cis white men, and that they had thousands of works by women (even famous women, like frida! georgia o'keefe!) just rotting in their basement. that exhibit lasted for 3 months and then they put everything away again.
walmart proudly supports this strip of land by the street! here are some flowers with wilting leaves. its employees have to pay out-of-pocket for their uniforms. my friend once got fined by the city because she organized a community pick-up of the riverfront, which was technically private property.
no, you cannot afford to take that dance class, neither can i. by the way - i'm a teacher. i'm absolutely not saying "educators shouldn't be paid fairly." i'm saying that when i taught classes, renting a studio went from 20 bucks an hour to 180 in the span of 6 months. no significant changes to the studio were made, except they now list the place as updated and friendly. the heat still doesn't work in the building. i have literally never seen the landlord who ignores my emails. recently they've been renting it out at night as an "unusual nightclub; a once-in-a-lifetime close-knit party." they spent some of those 180 dollars on LEDs and called it renovating. the high heels they invite in have been ruining the marley.
do you want to experience the old internet? do you want to play flash games or get back the temporary joy of club penguin? you can, you just need to pay for it. i have a weird, neurodivergent obsession with occasionally checking in to watch the downfall and NFT-ification of neopets. if i'm honest with you all - i never got into webkins, my family didn't have the money to buy me a pointless elephant. people forget that "being poor" can mean literally "if i buy you that toy, i can't afford rent."
you and i don't have time to make good food, and we don't have the budget for it. we are not gonna be able to host dinner parties, we're not made of money, kid. do you want some kind of 3rd space? a space that isn't home or work or school? you could try being online, but - what places actually exist for you? tiktok counts as social media because you see other people on it, not because they actually talk to you.
there was a local winter tradition of sledding down the hill at my school. kids would use pizza boxes and jackets and whatever worked, howling and laughing. back in september, they made a big announcement that this time, rules were changing, and everyone must pay 10 dollars to participate. when im not scared shitless, i kind of appreciate the environmental irony - it hasn't gone below 40. so much for snow & joyriding.
i saw a bulletin for a local dogwalking group and, nervous about making a good first impression, showed up early. the first guy there grimaced at me. "sorry," he said. "there's a 30-dollar buy-in fee." i thought he was joking. wait. for what? the group doesn't offer anything except friendship and people with whom to walk around the city.
he didn't know the answer. just shrugged at me. "you know," he said. "these days, everything costs money."

Mother's smile
Tumblr media
Summary: Raging war, it turns boys into men. Author note: Since the Marley world seemed to be around the 30s-40s, I’ll set this idea in a world that looks like the mid-50s. This is POST WAR. I've no idea what is this... the idea just came into my mind. Warnings: None...Angst? Perhaps? Word count: 3.8k Pairing: Dad! Levi x Mom! Reader
The muscles of his body twitched as he ran up and down, changing the train’s platform to return home. His hair flowed in the air, almost freezing from the bitter cold. He could feel the icy air biting at his undercut and chilling everything in its path. Exhaustion escaped with every puff of his reddened lips, the air condensing in front of his face. Yet, he kept running, desperate to connect one train to another.
If he didn’t time it perfectly, his family might begin to suspect he wasn't going to practice. He had quickly changed back into his regular school uniform in one of the train station's public bathrooms.
From the corner of his eye, he noticed a couple of girls. They couldn't be older than him, mumbling and locking eyes. He had no time to dwell on it, but he couldn't ignore it either. It was becoming a regular occurrence. People were starting to recognize him in the crowded streets of the capital.
"Why?" he wondered, even though he knew the answer. But he reasoned, "There are TV stars and movie actresses who take the train… I'm nobody."
He knew. Ever since someone took unauthorized pictures of him during practice, fully suited up, and they were posted first in the Paradise newspaper and then spread worldwide.
"Oh my- Sorry!" He almost tripped over someone. He quickly dodged a mother carrying two kids. "I’m SO sorry," he insisted.
"Please, something for my kids," she pleaded.
Levi's intuition told him something had been off lately.
"I’m so sorry… I have nothing," he replied, feeling a deep pang in his heart. The hunger and misery on the streets had only worsened since the war restarted.
"Could you set the table, love? Dinner is almost ready," Y/N said, breaking his deep thoughts as she handed him a pile of dishes. "It's just that the pot is old, and if I stop stirring it-"
"Sure," Levi quickly replied, not needing any further explanation. He stood up, grabbed the dishes, and wobbled a bit on his way to the dining room. "Tch," he clicked his tongue as he checked the clock. This was usually his son's duty.
Speak of the devil, the front door swung open. "I’M HOME!" Adrien shouted as he entered. 'Finally,' Levi thought. It was winter, and it got dark outside rather quickly.
"Welcome home, dear," Y/N said, peeking over from the kitchen to see her son taking off his shoes and coat in the hall. He quickly moved to give her a kiss on the cheek. "I was starting to wonder."
"I'm fine, I'm fine, mom," Adrien said, hurriedly.
"Dinner is ready," Y/N announced.
Adrien rushed into the dining room and almost bumped into his father.
"Where the hell have you been?" Levi demanded, almost pushing the dishware into his son’s arms.
"Sorry, I'll do it-" Adrien began, but as soon as he got closer, Levi grimaced in disgust.
"Shower, now. You stink," Levi commanded, holding onto the dishes.
Adrien took a quick sniff and seemed puzzled by his father's reaction. Groaning, he quickly moved upstairs. Levi frowned and continued setting the table. "The hormones are certainly working," he muttered.
Adrien had been arriving slightly late recently, not enough to raise concern but enough to annoy Levi. "The train services are delayed by the power outages…" Y/N tried to explain. These issues had become common since the war resumed and was edging closer to home as Paradise's forces, led by a queen Levi once helped put on the throne, continued their campaign.
Unauthorized pictures of his son had made it to the front page. His baby boy, photographed by spies. 'They fucking did not.' HIS baby boy, mocked by Paradise's news.
Initially, Levi thought it was a fluke. He went to grab the morning's newspaper at the front door and noticed the front page was missing. 'Maybe the boy tore it without realizing,' he thought. The delivery was usually smooth, so he dismissed it. He figured he could grab another edition on his way to his meeting. But when he saw it, his blood boiled.
Levi was furious. He broke every personal vow he had made to himself, that whatever war Paradise and the Jaegerists wanted to get into after almost 15 years post-Rumbling was none of his business. But taking pictures of HIS son and making fun of him? He made calls to people he hadn’t spoken to in years and simply stated, "Keep my son’s name out of your fucking mouth."
Adrien had been offered personal 3DMG training by the government from a very young age. Levi and Y/N were not naive. They knew since Adrien was a little kid why the government wanted him. He was Levi’s only child. The only available Ackerman after Levi and Mikasa stopped the Rumbling.
Levi had decided to break ties with the Paradise government because they continued to support the Jaegerists. He moved to another country, seeking peace for his family. That country was one of the few places the Rumbling hadn't devastated. He, Onkopop, Falco, Gabi, his wife, and his kids lived a peaceful life for many years.
Falco and Gabi eventually moved out as they grew older, though they visited frequently. Levi wanted to give his kid the childhood he never had. But he couldn't protect him forever. Adrien had insisted on practicing with 3DMG after being offered the chance as a kid. Levi stood firm on his decision. No. It was a firm no for months. Adrien was going to have a normal childhood, playing sports with his classmates and eating lunches packed by his mother. Levi had moved across the globe for his family to live without war, his family by blood and the one he made along the way.
The door slammed, surprising him. The family dog rushed to bark at the sound.
"Addy? You okay, kiddo?" Gabi asked, as they were still living with them. Hearing his son's name, Levi got up and walked as fast as his injuries allowed. It was too early for Adrien to be back from school. Also, Levi was the one who usually picked him up.
Wobbling, he reached the bedroom door, which was unusually closed. Even before he reached it, his heart began to ache as he could hear his 7-year-old boy's muffled cries. Adrien's chubby legs dangled from the edge of his bed, his face buried in the pillow.
"Oi, oi, oi," Levi said softly as he reached the bed and tried to gently push Adrien’s shoulder to the side to see his face. Adrien resisted. "Kid, what happened? Why are you back from school?"
Levi's mind raced, searching for injuries, any sign of hurt. Trying to come up with reasons, his brain was haunted by his baby’s endless tears.
"They kicked me off the team," Adrien finally managed to say between sobs. "The mothers complained that it’s not fair that I play."
Levi's heart sank. It had been hard for Adrien to make friends as a kid from another country, and he was obsessed with baseball since being allowed to join the team. He loved having a group of friends.
"I hate it, I hate it!" Adrien's soul-breaking cries echoed as his young mind couldn't comprehend the reasons. "Why can't I be normal?"
Levi forced himself out of his shock, slightly shaking his head to clear his mind. "Don’t say that. You’re normal. I'll talk to your teachers-"
Talking had never been his strength. He wished his wife was home.
“No, I’m not! All my friends look at me weirdly! Nobody wants to play with me anymore!” Adrien screamed at the top of his lungs. The frustration of his father not understanding only added salt to the wound. “I hate it!”
“No, Adrien—I'll talk—”
“I hate being an Ackerman!”
Levi felt as if he had been stabbed in the heart. White noise filled his head, merging with the sound of his son’s cries. Levi argued with himself that it shouldn’t have hurt as deeply as it did. “He’s just a kid who wants to play with the others,” he thought, remembering all the arguments he’d had with sports teams.
“It’s just not fair to the other kids, Mr. Ackerman.”
‘Next time, just point to my head,’ he thought bitterly. Watching his son sit on the benches with doe-like red eyes, trying to hold back tears at school, haunted Levi. He had come to pick him up and was forced to stay behind while the rest of the team practiced.
Falco and Gabi tried to play with him when they had free time, but they had their own responsibilities. Levi himself tried to play with Adrien as much as his injured leg allowed, but how fun could a one-on-one game be?
For many months, Levi refused to let Adrien take special training offered by the government. He knew they only saw his son as a potential new weapon.
“Daddy, did you see me? Did you see me?” Adrien’s face lit up with a smile that seemed too big for it, brimming with excitement after mastering a new 3DMG trick.
“Mm-hmm,” Levi hummed in approval, watching his son with a mix of pride and concern.
“He’s a prodigy, sir,” the female soldier standing next to him remarked. “You must be such a proud father.”
Levi’s death stare could hardly be disguised as he clenched his teeth. ‘This is wrong,’ he thought, but his hand, missing two fingers, reached for the Polaroid camera and took a picture. ‘It can’t be that wrong… if he’s smiling like this.’
“And then I twist! And then I jump! And then I—” Adrien rambled on excitedly at the dinner table.
“Addy, don’t talk with your mouth full,” Y/N gently reprimanded him, but he continued to beam, bright and cheerful, happy.
If teaching his boy everything he knew about 3DMG made him smile again, then perhaps it was worth it. He did it for his baby, only for his baby.
Adrien had grown into a moody teenager who now stole his car and rarely talked to Levi without an attitude. Levi wasn’t usually the melancholic type, but he missed the days when he was greeted at home with tight hugs and dreamy eyes.
Now, the war was getting closer to home. Paradise, untouched during the Rumbling, was growing increasingly tense. The Jaegerists wanted to finish what Eren had started, and the new regime wasn’t open to negotiation. They demanded blood; they demanded fire.
Admiring his reflection in the mirror, Levi noted how tired he looked. Time was unforgiving. He spotted several grey hairs among what used to be pristine raven locks. History seemed to be repeating itself, and sometimes he felt like he had fought for nothing. Small towns that were slowly rebuilding after the Rumbling were falling under the power of an island he had once defended with his blood and sweat.
The tie felt tight around his neck as he adjusted the bow tie. He had been asked—almost forced—to attend a charity event to raise funds for displaced refugees and military forces. They had declared war only a few months ago, and he felt strangely hopeless. “I’m just old,” he whispered to himself.
“Hey…”
Levi turned to his left to see his 16-year-old son leaning against the door frame with folded arms.
“Hey,” Levi greeted back cautiously. “I’ve no money,” he added quickly, the interaction feeling odd since Adrien rarely came into the couple’s bedroom, much less to talk to him.
Adrien rolled his eyes so dramatically Levi thought he might tear a muscle. “I wasn’t going to ask for anything!”
The teenager walked in and sat down on the bed, petting the cat. His long face and distant, translucent eyes were hard to ignore. Levi watched him for a while before turning back to the mirror to continue getting ready. The silence was so heavy it felt like breathing steam from the Colossal Titan.
After several minutes, Adrien's voice broke the silence, trembling with emotion. “You… you know I love you, Dad, right?”
Levi turned around, frowning deeply. “… What did you do?” he asked instinctively.
“Nothing!” Adrien's defensive tone only made him more suspicious.
“You got a chick knocked up?” Levi guessed quietly.
“W-what?!” Adrien’s face turned beet red with embarrassment. “NO!”
“What—”
“NOTHING! I did nothing!” Adrien protested, jumping up from the bed and heading for the door. “I’m never saying it again, you old man!”
The door slammed, and Levi clenched his teeth. The mood swings were something he wasn’t used to, no matter how hard he tried. Levi clicked his tongue. ‘What’s gotten into him lately?’
That was the issue; everything had been slightly off. Not enough to raise serious concerns, but as Levi walked downstairs to leave for the event, his mind kept replaying the scene in their bedroom. ‘Something smells off.’
‘I may be getting fucking old, but I’m not crazy.’
“He’s trying to grow up. Let’s show him that we trust him. Let’s give him some freedom, as long as he respects the curfew,” Y/N had tried to explain that shutting their son off wasn’t going to help.
Adrien’s insistence on coming home on his own… Levi had always driven him to and from school, especially since the school was quite far away by public transport. After the photo incident, Levi didn’t feel it was safe for his kid to walk back alone.
The front page of the newspaper had been missing the day his boy’s picture and the Paradise headline appeared:
“The Ackerman’s Cub: As Harmless as a Pussycat.”
Levi cursed at the memory, yanking his coat from the hanger by the door. Arms in—
It was too big.
He looked down at the sleeves, which hung past his hands. A part of his ego cracked a little—it was his son’s coat. His baby boy was growing non-stop, now 193 cm tall.
“Soon, he won’t fit through the damn door,” Levi muttered, half offended, half endeared. He wondered if he would have grown that tall if he hadn’t suffered so much as a child. “He truly inherited Kenny’s height,” his wife would say as their kid grew taller and taller.
Putting on his own coat—it was freezing outside—Levi sat in his car, but his mind kept circling back to it.
Adrien arriving late by only 10-15 minutes. His recent attitude wasn’t just typical teenage sulkiness; it was different. Adrien was distant but not moody.
Already at the party, Onyankopon, Falco, Gabi, and Y/N were talking around him, but Levi wasn’t there, at least not mentally. Call it the universe, call it signs, call it his Ackerman instincts. Call it what you want. But Levi knew something wasn’t right.
Suddenly, fragments of memories from the past month flashed through his mind. They hadn’t seemed suspicious at the time, just slightly unusual. Like that moment when he picked up something from Y/N’s boudoir table and got pricked by a needle.
“Ow,” he muttered, though it didn’t really hurt.
“Oh, I left a needle out? I thought I put it away,” she said innocently, placing it back in the sewing box.
Or when he was walking down the upper floor’s hall and noticed the string hanging from the attic hatch swaying. “Y/N, did you go to the attic?”
“No, why?”
“Nothing…” He meant to ask Adrien about it but got distracted by the teen blasting his record player.
Levi opened the door without knocking. He had warned Adrien to keep the door open multiple times. The teenager quickly turned down the rock music. “Hey!” Adrien complained, but Levi didn’t care.
“How many times do I have to tell you to keep the volume down? I’m half-blind; don’t make me deaf too,” Levi ordered. Before leaving, he added, “And get your shoes off the bed.”
Levi’s leg tapped against the floor uneasily. Something was not right. The silence of his brain seeking a logical explanation was becoming deafening. His wife squeezed his arm, drawing his attention.
“Captain Ackerman,” a man approached them, bowing slightly out of respect. Levi’s days as a captain were long gone, but he never lost the title in the eyes of some. “It’s an honor…”
The man’s hands fidgeted nervously as a timid smile appeared on his face. He pressed his lips together, wet them, and then opened them as if trying to find the right words. “It must fill your heart with pride that you and your family stood up in such a difficult situation and did the right thing. As a representative of the Eldian community outside Paradise, we don’t stand with the Jaegerist decisions—”
Levi dismissed him quickly. “No need to praise me,” he cut in, anticipating the man’s gratitude for his role in the fight against Eren during the Rumbling. “I fought for what I believed was right.”
The man’s face twisted in confusion. “No—I…” he stammered, his previous uneasiness turning to confusion. “I wanted to thank you and acknowledge your family’s altruistic action.”
“No need—”
“I mean, it must be an honor but also extremely hard for you as a father to allow your son to volunteer for the front lines.”
It hit Levi like a thunder spear, just as the one he had once used against Zeke. As if the explosion had gone off right next to him, and he could only hear the ringing in his ears. Y/N’s grip on his arm loosened in shock before her nails dug in as the realization sank in.
Despite his Ackerman powers, Levi felt control over his body slip away as his legs shook. It felt impossible to breathe as he drove back home as fast as he could, but it surely felt as if his lungs caught no oxygen.
He slammed the door open, his injured leg giving way as he rushed upstairs to his son’s bedroom. Pain fading into nothing as it once did during the war. The white noise in his brain was shattered by Y/N’s piercing scream when they found the bedroom empty, except for a single paper note on the made bed. Falco held Y/N as she broke down in tears.
Levi’s face remained expressionless, but it felt as if his heart had been ripped from his chest. Holding the note in his hands, he sank onto the mattress. The bed where he had once read Mother Goose stories.
“I’m sorry… I just couldn’t sit back and do nothing.
P.S. Sorry for the coat.”
His baby, his baby boy. The mere thought of Adrien witnessing even half of what he had as a soldier brought tears to Levi’s eyes, a knot forming in his throat. His child, stolen from his arms, dragged into the chaos like pigs to a slaughterhouse. Everything Levi had fought for, everything he had done…
If only he hadn’t used that thunder spear, he would be as good as new. He would have fought a thousand wars and led a thousand more just to keep his baby safe at home. To wake up to Y/N making his favorite waffles on a lazy Sunday morning.
It should have been him. He should have been in better shape. If only—
After a few days, Levi understood what Adrien meant about the coat in the note. His lost eyes fixed on the piece of clothing that had been cut. His old scout’s jacket, stored in the attic, had been altered. Adrien must have cut and sewn the Wings of Freedom patch onto something else. The house had become a cemetery since the day Adrien left. Y/N hadn’t been able to sleep soundly as she usually did, waking at the slightest sound.
“I thought I heard the front door,” she said, as Levi tried to calm her down in the middle of the night.
Levi hated rock music; he found it too noisy. But one afternoon, he felt compelled to put on one of Adrien’s records. Each second felt like it was squeezing the life out of him.
As the days passed, the missing front page of the newspaper became a sign enough. The news arrived loudly at their home.
“Undaunted. As the higher-ranks abandoned the zone, giving up the strategic petrol supply, Adrien Ackerman held the front lines and won.
A kid worth an entire army, honoring his name.”
Levi’s eyes scanned the paragraphs without emotion. “While all wore the same uniform, Ackerman decided to stick a striking patch to his. ‘They called me powerless, so I made myself an easy target. If they want to come for me, let them come, and I’ll put up a fight,’” the article quoted Adrien.
A scoff escaped Levi’s lips; he had surely inherited his temper.
“I cut and stuck the article to my locker to remind myself who I have to show their place,” Adrien replied when asked about the Paradise press’s coverage.
“LEVI!” Y/N’s voice echoed through the house. He rushed to her side with worry, only to find her smiling softly and sobbing as she watched the black-and-white TV.
The screen showed his baby boy, his comrades ruffling his hair, beer bottles flying in celebration, and citizens offering him drinks. They hadn’t won the war, but it was clear this victory was much needed to lift their spirits. People looked at Adrien with starry eyes, much like they had looked at Levi after their first wins against the Titans.
Levi’s lips trembled as he bit the inside of his cheeks, trying to hold his composure.
“He’s alright,” Y/N whispered, slightly relieved. “God, he got your knack for giving me a heart attack.”
She tried to joke, but noticing her husband’s silence, she turned around. “Oh… Lev…” she sighed, quickly moving to hug him tightly.
Tears streamed down Levi’s cheeks as he watched his baby on the screen, basking in the attention and hope he gave to others. They hadn’t won the war, but for now, it was enough.
“We knew deep down we couldn’t shelter him forever,” Y/N said, caressing him. She understood the weight now on Adrien’s shoulders, responsibilities that had haunted Levi for many years. She sighed, making peace with herself. A part of her had known from the moment she gave birth to an Ackerman that this day would come.
However, through watery eyes, Levi saw something different. Watching the young man on the screen, Levi whispered with a broken voice the same words he had said when Adrien was born.
“He got your smile.”

some stuff about canon levi confessing? I picture he wouldn’t confess in words or something like that, but i’d really like to hear what you think. loved the pda story about him btw. thank u so much
Canon Levi is seen as cold, quiet, stoic, but very observant and caring toward others when you least expected it.
Nobody could tell that the infamously strict Captain Levi was in love. I mean, who had the guts to stare at his face as his eyes lingered on you slightly longer as you marched past him, or questioned that the Captain insisted you to make tea for the entire team and gave minimal comments on how you could improve your tea brewing skills. Not a single living soul saw Captain Levi in his office rehearsing the conversation he wanted to have with you before he sent Eren to get you. But in the end, he only asked you to carry the reports to Commander Erwin's office because he stuttered.
Levi didn't care about what he was wearing. He had his uniform jacket on most of the time anyway. But it caught his eyes whenever you wore a new shirt or a pair of new pants. His brows frowned when other guy cadets complimented your new clothes, but he couldn't bring himself to tell you you looked better in the old light blue shirt you got months ago.
So he did what he did best. He trained you hard. Only when you were dangling on the maneuver gear with your legs lifted from the ground, Levi could bark orders to you freely.
Go faster! Please survive.
Take sharp turns, pull back your strings and push yourself with the gas pressure! Come back with me.
Make sure you check your gas level before you get on your horse. Come back to me. Please.
Levi studied your postures, your fighting habits, and your careless mistakes. His tongue spitted the most venomous words, but his eyes pouring the deepest worries and concerns he had for you.
No, Levi couldn't say those words to you. He couldn't tell you how much he wanted to touch your skin, or hold your hands, or pull you into his arms. But when the nights got extra difficult to go through alone, Levi sat with you in silence. The fire crackling softly. Your mind somewhere else in the skies. Your body felt too heavy to move. Levi sat there, quietly replacing cold tea with warm ones, waiting patiently for you to drink it. And when you did, the warm tea flowed through your chest, and you exhaled deeply. Your shoulders finally dropped and you were ready to take on another day. Levi's heart eased too. How could you realise that he too held a breath for so long and let it go the moment you let yours go too? You wouldn't see how his brows softened when you told him you felt better and his tea soothed your soul. He said "clean up the table before breakfast, brat" but he meant "don't go where i can't follow".
It wasn't until Eren came back and awakened all the titans in the wall, Paradise Island went into a chaotic state. The Yeagerists took over the military HQ and declared that Hange and Levi had died. Heartbroken and shocked from the news, you hid away as they celebrated the beginning of a new era. You wandered into Levi's office, quietly going through his things before those untamed young cadets destroy it for no reason.
Beneath a stack of death certificates of the cadets who used to be in the same tea with Levi, you found a photograph you took in Marley. It was a group photo that Hange insisted on getting. But you noticed that there was a heart shaped hole on where your face was supposed to be. And then it hit you. Levi kept you in a locket and brought it with him to war.
Tears streamed down your face. Your heart ached and you struggled to breath. Grabbing on the edges of the photograph, you blinked the tears away, trying your best to look at Levi in the photograph. His brows were not frown, he seemed relaxed, like he had planned to keep you in the locket all this while. As if he was saying, "you found my secret, brat."
.
When it was all over, and the night sky was bright with stars, you sat next to Levi with his tea brewing by the side. Levi pulled the locket from his breast pocket and gently dropped it in your palm. You knew what was inside, but you were still surprised to see your face untouched even touch the locket was dented. Stuttering, Levi asked "may I..?" He needed to ask. He was a gentleman. "Yes," you needed to tell him because he deserved a clear confirmation. He rested his rough palm on yours. You leaned against his shoulder, and you both exhaled in relief.
The stars had finally aligned.

"Do you really think the Captain would love someone like you? Someone who is nothing but a piece of trash that he was forced to take care of?"
Upon all the insults, hurtful statements and negativity you heard from the others, that one stood out to you the most.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
You were currently at the mess hall, the same crowded place filled with chatters and lively voices, but then again it is where you are most likely also be targeted by the people who had no entertainment in life but to talk ill of you.
But you didn't mind, since Levi was beside you.
You and Levi were both eating peacefully at a small table, Levi sat down beside you his arms wrapped around you waist, while his warm hand was resting at the top of your now slightly bulging belly.
You were now currently three months in, and you were starting to show, but thanks to the survey corps coat uniform, the thick fabric was doing its best effort to hide your now forming bump.
"You should eat more." Levi stated while looking at you, still the same gaze but his hand was very light and warm on your belly.
It was like a contrast to his demeanor, the way his gestures were very caring and feather light the past few days which was a contrast to his hard and cold gaze that he has been throwing at you and the others.
While lost in your thoughts, you then felt something cold gently pressed to your lips.
Your attention was then brought back by the touch of the spoon with a decent amount of food on it consisting of rice and fish, you then look at Levi.
He was trying spoon feed you which was honestly very surprising and not like him, you thought.
"Huh?" You asked clearly confused, raising an eyebrow.
The impression that Levi honestly gives is someone who would most likely rudely speak and shake your shoulder if you don't agree to what he says,
or at the very least that was how you and the other people see him, but in reality under the walls he had built up that made him appear cold and detached,
He was honestly very caring and gentle, and it was starting to show as he was slowly letting you in.
You opened your mouth and comply, letting him spoon feed you.
Levi stayed silent the whole time, but despite his cold and stern facade, his gestures say otherwise.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
After eating breakfast at the mess hall, Levi went to an important meeting with Hange about the upcoming expeditions and some backup plans incase Titan shifters or the worst case scenario, Marley makes another move.
As you were walking at the hallway towards the room to were your squadmates were staying and currently cleaning just like the Captain ordered.
You were then approached by Floch and two more scouts following him.
"Oh great, he even brought a few audience." you thought.
Despite Levi warning him to back off from his insults with you, he clearly had a tough skull and thick skin not to easily give into it.
"Looks like you're starting to show a bit, if you stare attentively." Floch said, keeping his usual tone of voice.
"Why are you surprised? are you illiterate about human anatomy?" you responded back calmly, you knew he will insult you again which was not new anymore, so you decided to take the first move.
Honestly at this rate your buttons were much more easy to press as your emotions are more heightened due to your progressing pregnancy.
Floch frowns, clearly you pushed a button.
"Stop talking like you're smart, you're just someone who got knocked up, not to mention a traitor." Floch said with a hint of hostility.
"What else are you going to say?" you asked Floch.
at this rate you honestly started to get used to it, as stupid as it may sound you had no choice but to just let it enter your left ear and for his words to leave your other.
"Do you really think the Captain would love someone like you? Someone who is nothing but a piece of trash that he was forced to take care of?" Floch stated laced with firmness, which was below the belt for you.
You felt the statement tug your heartstrings.
"If you have nothing else better to stay then I better get going." you replied, still trying to keep up the calm demeanor that was slowly crumbling.
You then reached the room where your squadmates were very attentively cleaning, making sure every place was spotless just like how the Captain ordered.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
You decided to sweep the floor as Hange told you before when she last checked up on you not to carry too much heavy items and avoid adding too much strain to your body.
Hange has been looking after you, since she was the one knowledgeable with medicine in the regiment, Levi also trusted her a lot than it looks despite them arguing majority of the time about Hange's experiments about titans.
your mind was then again occupied by the insults you heard from the scouts, especially Floch who you sometimes wished Levi really made as Titan feed like he stated, because of his unfiltered mouth.
Armin noticed your attention was not really at the wooden floor you were sweeping, it was somewhere else.
"Hey, (y/n) are you alright?" Armin asked with a hint of concern.
you just gave him a nod, clearly a giveaway you weren't.
You have been with them for a long time now in the squad, they knew you quite well to know also when you're really alright or just putting up a facade for their sake or your natural act of defense to keep things to yourself securely.
"You know, I read from a book before that everyone should avoid stress, especially for a woman who is carrying a child. Its not really healthy." Armin stated softly.
You then looked at him, Armin saw your gaze and the emotions held in it, mostly it expressed sorrow and pain.
It was clear that the insults you heard and tried to ignore for the past few days were also affecting you too.
"You should atleast open up to Captain Levi about this (y/n)" Armin once again softly stated as he placed a hand on your shoulder.
and once again you gave him another nod, but not really considering his suggestion,
its not that you don't want to tell Levi.
You were just scared, that maybe it would only be a burden. Afterall carrying his child won't erase the past.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
You were on your way towards your shared quarter with the Captain, you then heard a commotion inside Levi's office, although it was wrong your curiousity got the best of you and you decided to eavesdrop while peeping at the door keyhole.
"Captain, I don't see anything we are doing wrong. we are just stating facts afterall." Floch firmly said, while a few more scouts next to him just nervously nodded in return.
Levi was about to punch his face beating the crap out of him when Hange stopped him, firmly grabbing his arms as an act to restrain him.
"Levi calm down, beating him won't do any good." Hange stated, her voice was still soft trying to calm the atmosphere inside the Captain's office.
"Let me go Hange, and let me beat the crap out of him." Levi stated firmly laced with anger, as his gaze pierced the scout with tousled auburn hair, who talked back to him.
"Levi I said keep it together." Hange stated with a more convincing and firm tone.
Levi then breaks free from Hange, he then looks at her.
"You clearly told me he and these morons were insulting (y/n) and that I should look after her because she shouldn't be exposed by stress and negative emotions caused by this group of shitty assholes." Levi stated, his voice clearly laced with annoyance and frustration about everything.
Hange sighs, as she pushed her glasses upwards fixing it. she was also getting a bit annoyed with the situation.
"Captain, I don't know why you're making yourself worked up over her. She is an enemy, she is from Marley, The same people responsible for Commander Erwin's death." Floch stated, clearly he was trying to knock off a few senses from Levi forcing his opinion by bringing up Commander Erwin.
You froze when you heard that.
You knew how much Commander Erwin meant to Levi.
You then thought about it, how Floch said Marley was responsible for his death, How you are connected to those responsible people.
"Does Levi view me the same?"
That was another question that drove your mind into spirals.
Honestly you respected Commander Erwin, he was a good leader, a fighter. you never wanted for any of that to happen.
You were also not aware it would, or else you could've done something to prevent it.
Around the time before that incident happened you already started to pour every ounce of loyalty to the scout regiment, despite being a traitor to your own nation.
"But who would believe me", you thought.
You then decided to walk back to your shared quarters, but this time you weren't able to shake off the heaviness in your heart and your shoulders.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
{ Levi's POV }
For the next three days, you decided to keep to yourself.
Levi noticed but he thought giving you privacy was what you needed,
not until he noticed how you looked dejected, how your smile and the sparkles bringing life to your orbs were slowly diminishing again.
He was worried, not only for your sake but the child you were carrying.
He saw how you were appearing more lethargic, how your usual demeanor that emitted nothing but warmth was slowly being replaced by the coldness of the walls you have somehow built the past three days.
Levi found it frustrating, how he let it get to this.
Levi was currently drinking his tea like usual, but his attention was not at the pages of his paperwork that he was flickering almost only skimming through it and not really paying attention to any of those inked letters, words and statements formed.
He was thinking of how to talk to you, he knew you well enough that you won't open up to him.
you were used to keeping everything to yourself, just like him.
You were currently cleaning your shared quarters which he finds even more annoying since he told you to avoid putting to much strain to your body.
but then again, its not like he could stop you since he knew you will be using the "I don't want to be a burden to you Captain." card.
Just as he was about to approach you, you approached him first telling him that you will wash his now empty teacup.
Levi sighs and nods, as he took this opportunity to think about how he will converse with you later on.
He figured he won't let you go to bed or until this was discussed and over.
As you washed the teacup, he decided to continue staring at his paperwork despite his lack of focus to even entertain any of it.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
The peaceful sound of water can be heard coming from the kitchen as you continued to delicately wash Levi's teacup, despite the calm gush of water echoing though the kitchen you mind was a mess, it was very chaotic, it was as if you were stuck in a dark place. Levi was at the living room doing his paperwork.
As you settled the teacup at the wooden cupboard, you saw both yours and Levi's ODM gear located at a wide wooden shelf decorated with a flower vase and colorful books.
It was honestly like a contrast, how can a gear used to eliminate titans and even human's for the sake of the survival of Humanity itself be kept under a vibrant, colorful shelf?
You then thought about the contradicting treatment Levi has gave you, underneath his stern, cold and sometimes harsh demeanor, His gestures and treatment towards you was honestly delicate, caring, and soft.
Despite your reputation.
Your thoughts then wondered back to the conversation you overheard inside Levi's office.
"Captain, I don't know why you're making yourself worked up over her. She is an enemy, she is from Marley, The same people responsible for Commander Erwin's death."
You then thought about the thought that has been consuming you into a pit of darkness for the past three days,
"Does Levi view me the same?"
You knew that until now, that Commander Erwin meant a lot to Levi, he was a close friend to him and Commander Hange.
Before Erwin died, you knew Levi swore he would take down the beast titan, Zeke.
Who was from Marley,
Just like you.
And as if your lost into your own void of nothingness filled with nothing but despair about your very non-idle situation, you took one blade from your ODM gear.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
{ Levi's POV }
(y/n) suddenly approached the Captain whilst holding a blade from her ODM gear which she found was placed across the room a minute ago.
"Captain... please just punish me now... please just end me now..." (y/n) says, her tone devoid of any emotions, only subtle coldness lacing it as she was passing the ODM blade to Levi
He looked at her, his narrowed eyes slightly widens, like it was about to bulge out of his skull.
He had a stunned expression written all over his face.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" He asked, while looking at her, the way he saw her eyes that almost lost the light of hope.
Levi felt something stir in him, it was something foreign to him but at that moment he felt panic, and a feeling of failure.
Failure that he wasn't able to do anything to prevent his partner who was pregnant with his child escape such feelings.
"I know you hate me... I'll always be a traitor in your eyes... even if I- if I try my best to prove my loyalty to you..." (y/n) said in a shaky and downhearted voice as her gaze locks with Levi's gray orbs.
"How did it get to this? wasn't I showing her enough attention and care?" Levi thought to himself as his gaze softens, conveying emotions he never knew existed in him.
Levi shifts his attention towards the growing bump on your belly, you were currently almost in your fourth mark of pregnancy, and Levi felt a storm of emotions starting to explode inside him as he stared at (y/n) who was still holding the ODM blade, pushing it slightly towards him.
He knew everything was probably to much for you.
The rumors, the insults, the blame.
And he wanted nothing more but to reach you with his warmth, pulling you out of the darkness you have secluded yourself into.
not only for your baby, but for your sake.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
Levi accepts the ODM blade but throws it across the room, it made a loud sound as it made contact with the cold floor, enough to snap you out of your thoughts.
"No (y/n) fucking let go of that blade and those bullshit thoughts, look at me. I am not about to kill the mother of my child, do you understand!?"
Levi said sternly, and nothing can mend or break his words.
He then gently wrapped his arms around your body, his warmth enveloping you as a whole, a hint of light returns to your eyes as you realize and thought about what happened. that you reached the peak of bottling everything on your own.
"I'm here (y/n), stop going to a place where I can't reach you." He stated, his voice was soft and very gentle.
Tears started to fall from your eyes as a hint of light and sparkle returned to your orbs, you returned his embrace, and you feel him tighten his.
It was like he was protecting you, from your own thoughts, from your own fears.
That was when you realized he was there all along.
"Levi..." you called out to him, this time without formalities, just his name.
"Yes, I'm here." Levi reassured and stated once more with a firm yet gentle tone.

The life after war was almost like the life before. Peaceful and quiet. You were eighteen when the titans attacked for the first time, twenty-three when everything stopped. You're now in your mid-twenties, working as a caretaker for veterans in a nursing home specified for the military, trying to help both; Marley's and Eldian's. The prejudice still cutting a line between the two nations, but it's obviously gotten better.
You were taking care of an invalid woman, when a man with blonde hair and sky-blue eyes approached you. He wore a military uniform and had a warm smile on his young-looking face. You're not surprised to see military people on a daily basis, after all you work for them. Being approached by a high ranked one was different though.
"My name is Armin Arlert. You must be Miss (Y/L/N), correct?" You nodded your head, not daring to leave the woman's side.
"Good, you've been recommended to me by your supervisor Mrs. Mayer. I'd be happy to announce that you will be deported to personal caretaking by next week." Gulping, you looked at him with surprise.
"Personal caretaking? May I ask who my patient will be?" You asked out of curiosity. Armin only smiled, a sad one, and shook his head.
"This will be discussed further next week. I'll join you to meet him. Mrs. Meyer will let you know more about the exact date and location. It was nice to meet you."
The whole situation left you nervous the following days and it wasn't until you sat in an automobile (for the first time in your life) on your way to Marley that you relaxed a little bit.
Looking at Commander Armin with a raised brow, you brush over your skirt, flattening it.
"Captain Levi Ackerman? Isn't he humanities strongest-" you get interrupted by his sorrowful voice.
"He was humanity's strongest." He explains quickly, glancing out of the window in a haze.
"Two former Marley warriors take care of him now. It wasn't a problem until recently though. He got more-" he trails off looking for the right words.
"He needs someone experienced in the field." Mrs. Mayer suggests, looking at you with a meaningful gaze.
"Yes." Armin breaths, the sadness not leaving him.
"The kids are great. But they wrote me a letter a while ago. Explaining that they've reached their limits with him." Swallowing you nod your head, understanding the situation.
"How bad is his condition." You dare to ask, but this time you look at your supervisor, not wanting to pressure the Commander.
"I was told by our former Commander Hange Zoë that Levi was caught in an explosion, losing sight of his right eye and two of his fingers on his right hand. While we fought against Eren, he saved one of us. Unfortunately, a titan damaged his leg permanently, leaving him basically wheelchaired." He explains and you can't help but to notice that he is a bit hesitant.
"Anything else I need to know?" You try to be polite, hoping to not come across as rude.
"His mental condition is a bit-" Now that even your supervisor Mrs. Mayer struggles to find the right words to describe the Captain’s situation, you can't help but to feel a bit scared again.
"He's overwhelmed with the fact that he is dependent on someone else. The Captain has always been a bit grumpy and mean but recently he's been depressed, making Gabi and Falco unable to help him." You form your lips into an "o" form, seeing the situation in another light now.
"I understand. I'll make sure to keep that in mind." You promise, smiling at Commander Armin with reassurance.
Armin knocks at the fine wooden door, his posture anything but relaxed. Hearing footsteps emerging you straighten your posture and patiently wait for the person behind the door to open it. In front of the three of you appears a girl in her teens with brown hair and eyes, a tired expression on her young features.
"Commander." She greets, a small smile appears on her thin lips.
"Gabi." He softly smiles back, allowing himself into the suburban house. You follow him, running your eyes around the small entry hall. Everything appears to be clean, no sign of dust or clutter.
"Thank God you are here." She whispers, eying you and Mrs. Mayer with hope.
"I swear Commander he is-" A raspy voice coming from one of the rooms breaks her hushed tone, making her noticeably shudder.
"Who is this Gabi? Who are you talking to?" For a moment Armin closes his eyes, letting out a heavy breath.
"It's just me, Captain Levi." The blonde walks straight up to the room where the grumpy voice came from, making you follow him hesitantly. Your body is tense, as you nervously appear in the door frame, right behind the Commander. In the middle of the living room is a man, his rather small body placed in a wheelchair. 'This is him.' You think and meet his eyes, your lips turning upwards into a polite smile.
"Who's your company?" Levi asks in clear disinterest, eyeing you with suspicion.
"This is Miss (Y/L/N) and her supervisor Mrs. Mayer. Miss (Y/L/N) works for the care-program. I ordered her here to-" the low chuckle of the former Captain makes Armin stop, eyes wide with fear. Seeing the Commander's reaction to a former soldier's laugh, makes you wonder how the Captain treated his companions back in the day.
"Let me guess. She's here to take care of me, isn't she?" Levi asks, mockingly gesturing at you.
"Well- yes." Armin scratches the back of his head, grinning uncomfortably.
"Then that's a no." Levi decides with confidence, crossing his arms with a pout. You didn't know that the Captain wasn't aware of you coming, making you feel awkward and like an intruder in his home. Getting a grip of himself, Armin Arlert gives him an annoyed look.
"This was an order. Not a suggestion." At this Levi expression turns sour, bitter.
"You singing high tones now, Arlert? Remember who saved your burned ass a few years ago." The unbearable tension makes you feel sick to the stomach, and you shift around, trying to make yourself more comfortable.
"I'm aware and grateful, Captain. But Gabi und Falco are no longer able to tend to your needs." Levi's good eye moves to the brown-haired girl, giving her the 'you'll regret that' look. Gabi looks to the ground in shame, a nervous grin plastered on her face.
"Oh! And I'm sure she can tend to my needs then." He speaks, arrogance directed at both you and Armin.
"She's good in her field Captain Levi-"
"Damn it, stop calling me Captain, Arlert."
"-She will help you clean and cook. Miss (Y/L/N), don't you want to introduce yourself." All eyes land on you, like a deer caught up in headlights.
"Good morning Mr. Ackerman. My name is (Y/N) (YL//N) and I'd be honored to help you around your home whenever needed." You try to hold your nervous smile upward while he looks at you with judgment.
"So, you're a housemaid?" Being caught off guard for a second, your supervisor comes to your rescue.
"No. She is a trained caretaker and has a great range of medical and pharmaceutical knowledge. She's better than your ordinary maid Mr. Ackerman." Your cheeks redden as his steel-colored orbs lands on you again, observing you.
"Fine. She can stay and assist Gabi and Falco." At that Armin let's out a noticeable sight, the soft smile returning on his rosy cheeks.
"Happy to have found an agreement Captain-"
"Only Levi."
"-Levi."
The first week has been nothing but horrible. You can see why the kids are clearly overwhelmed with situation, your help only smoothing it a little. Levi Ackerman has been rude and cold towards you, snarky remarks and dark jokes following you around the house. He seems to be born with a natural authority and insomnia. In this entire week you have only seen him sleep once. You even thought that he was dead, his body crouched down on his wheelchair, his chest flatly falling and rising.
"Should we bring him to his room?" You whispered to Falco who only shook his head.
"No. He never sleeps in there."
The next thing you noticed was his obsession with cleanliness; everything had to be perfectly neat. It was your main duty, cleaning, doing the laundry and ironing it after. Everything had to be up to his standards, and they were high. He took joy in cleaning too though, trying his best every day. You noticed that he trained a lot too, using a cane instead of a wheelchair or (trying) doing pushups. Other days he would only lay on his bed not doing anything but stare on the blank wall. It was then you realized that Levi mentally still relieves the war, that he is traumatized.
Right now you prepare the breakfast table for tomorrow, putting clean china on the round wood. Falco and Gabi are already fast asleep, exhausted from school and tending to Captain Levi. He only lets the kids help him, not letting you near him in any way. You already wrote Mrs. Mayer a letter, explaining your current situation. Her answer was quick and disappointing. "Keep up. You managed worse." Levi was right, you are nothing more than a maid in this household. So you wrote Commander Armin next, only receiving the same answer.
"Oi, brat." A harsh voice breaks your thoughts making you look to Mr. Ackerman. He leans against his cane for support, his usual bored expression covering his true emotions.
"A little help would be nice." He gestures at his tea can, his struggling obvious. You feel embarrassed that you were too deep in thoughts to notice him. You mumble a quick apology, rushing to his side. By now you know how he likes his black tea; the water shouldn't boil anymore, and the tea shouldn't brew for too long. The two of you stay beside each other in silence, preparing everything for his tea. After it is ready to stir, you notice his cold stare on your form, his steel-colored eye catches yours. His other one appears to be milky, a scar tearing his fine skin.
"Could you do me a favor?" The question catches you off guard and you wonder if there might be a catch.
"Of course." You decide on a simple answer, awaiting his favor patiently.
"My knee has been hurting like shit lately. Could you-" he rasps, avoiding your gaze.
"Could you give me a massage?" Surprised you smile at him, finally feeling appreciated as a caretaker and not a housewife by him.
"Of course, Mr. Ackerman." You joyfully reply, offering him to take a seat at the dining table.
You carefully move his leg up, placing it on your lap.
"Is the pain constant? Or random at times?" You question, placing your palm carefully on his hurting knee.
"Random. I can tell that the muscles are affected most of the time though. They never fully healed." You move your hand over his hurt muscles, a small groan escaping him in the process. He fletches his teeth, pained face looking at you accusingly.
"Sorry." You breathe out, stopping your movement instantly.
"I don't really know where to massage it. With your leg being covered, you know?" You explain carefully, hoping he understands. Levi rolls his eyes and after a few seconds starts to fiddle with his belt and pants. Being used to nudity, you don't particularly feel uncomfortable, only seeing this situation as a matter of treating your patient well and so does Levi.
"Alright. Can't have you destroy it even more." He simply comments and pulls his pants down, neatly picking it up from the floor to fold it. Perfectionism. He simply rests his leg back on your lap, allowing you to continue. Scars line up his skin and you notice that it appears to be a bit deformed. No wonder he is in pain while walking with a cane. Your eyes follow your movements, your fingers carefully brushing over his scars. They've healed nicely. When your hands slowly start to knead his muscles, sounds escape him that make your cheeks flush. You look up, noticing how his body relaxes against the chair, eyes squeezed shut.
"Hm. You're not bad at this." He admits, body relaxing under your touch, while you give him a small smile.
"It's my job Mr. Ackerman." At that he only clicks his tongue, opening his eyes to meet yours. Though they might seem emotionless, there clearly is more behind them.
"You could do your job more often then." Biting your tongue, you try not to reply something rude.
"If that would please you." A cold smile tugged on your lip, you continue your wonders, making him lean back even more. You notice that the muscles on his tights seem sore too and you slowly make your way up his knee. He blinks at you, eyes dark and wide. If he's bothered, he doesn't let you know, observing your every touch. His skin, warm and soft, feels quite nice against your hands and you can tell that he takes good care of his body. After another minute you pause, relaxing your fingers a little.
"Can you do that to my back too?"
Days later you have found quite the nice routine: wake up, prepare breakfast, go to the market, clean, prepare lunch, clean, read, prepare dinner, clean, give Levi a massage and go to sleep. With him everything is about cleaning. Today you started to take notice of his changing behavior. He's not as tense anymore, keeps you company at the market and started to meet old comrades again. Happy about this, you smile, while your fingers dance over his back. For the first time since your arrival, he decided to occupy his bed, making you sit at his side, right at his laying form. His eyes are partly closed, cloudy orbs looking at you with interest.
"You look pretty." He whispers, his words catching you by surprise. You stop, giving him a shocked look.
"What?" The whisper barely leaves your lips and you're surprised that he heard you in the first place.
"You heard me." He states, closing his eyes again, like nothing just happened.
"Thank you. You look pretty too." You can't help but to smile, relaxing your fingers at his bare skin.
"Don't mock me." He groans, his muscles flexing under your touch.
"I'm not." It's true, to you he looks beautiful. His hair feels like silk, his skin so soft and pure. The scars do nothing to his flawless looks.
"Whatever." Levi noticeably flinches, his gaze on his hand with the missing fingers. His condition truly is pitiful, so much Armin Arlert talked to you about it with a lowered head.
"He was humanity's strongest." He told you, his small smile falling from his lips.
"I was told by our Commander Hange Zoë that Levi was caught in an explosion, losing sight of his right eye and two of his fingers on his right hand. While we fought against Eren, he saved one of us. Unfortunately, a titan damaged his leg permanently, leaving him basically wheel chaired."
You knew what was coming from the beginning, you knew about his disabilities, but they never bothered you. In fact, his personality was more off putting than his wounds. Though, things got better between the two of you and you feel more comfortable in his imitating presence. You don't dare to speak, giving him time and enough room to relax in your presence. While your thoughts swing unresolved in your head, your hands seemingly move on their own gently brushing down his spine and back up to his head. A soft purre escapes his lips, ripping you from your own world. His grey eyes are looking back up at you, heavy breathes tingling your hand.
"Tease." He whispers, leaning into your touch, making you shrink back, surprised at his reaction.
"You are so perfect, aren't you?" Levi's tone is mocking, the expression on his cracked porcelain face void of any emotion.
"Always in those clean, ironed dresses. You make perfect tea, and you are clean. Pretty too, you have magical hands." He appears to be in a trance, glaring at you with hunger.
"Armin must have send you to seduce me, didn’t he? To keep me nice and quiet."
'Great' you think 'he's suspicious of me.' He slowly retreats his body from the back, turning into a sitting position.
"He did not. Commander Armin has only your best health in interest." At least that's what he told you, what you believe in. Levi mutters a disapproving "Tsk." under his breath and catches your chin in between the fingers of his left hand. Your heart jumps at the touch, beating against your rib cage rapidly.
"Are you here to please me?" It's not the first time that he caught you off guard and certainly won't be last, but this question almost seems sad, desperate even.
"Please you? I'm here to take care of you Sir." You state, not moving in his grasp.
"Taking care, hm? What would you do to make me feel better?" His body closes in, his warmth and scent making you feel dizzy.
"Everything you are in need of." You stutter, harshly closing your lids, as his fingers brush over your lips. Butterflies tingle your gut, making you wonder if it is the sudden adrenaline or something more intense.
"You know it's been a while since I had a woman touch me that way. And while it did its medical wonders, it did wake something inside of me that I buried a long time ago." You whimper, fingers squeezing your chin.
"Many soldiers and warriors did so. Armin most likely too. He of all people would know the desperation of a touch starved man." You open your eyes, as his hands move to the collar of your dress, pulling you flatly against him. He appears to be more aggressive now, his eyes blown wide with madness.
"I am sorry for giving you the assumption of seducing you Sir. But I'm only here to do my duty, which is taking care of war veterans." You quietly murmur, gripping his wrists for support. You don't like the way he mistreats you; abusing the power he has a former Captain. He doesn't seem to care about your words, only glaring at you.
"You don't fool me." Levi shakes his head, voice raspy as he observes you.
"You are like one of those poisonous plants I found outside of the walls on Paradis. Your petals are beautiful." He leans in more, lips barely touching yours. Closing your eyes again, you try to enjoy his closeness, his touch and new behavior. Your hurt nearly breaks through your chest, after it stopped beating just moments ago when his lips brushed yours.
"But your touch and silver tongue are oh so toxic." He whispers, softly nibbling at your lip, his hands still clawing at you.
"I'll give you something to write to Armin and your supervisor about." He knows that you exchanged letters with them, which made Jim probably even more suspicious about you. That and his body's reaction to you. While you do understand his confusion with the situation, you are way too overwhelmed to think about it now.
His lips catch yours in an hungry attack, while his hands roam from your collar to the buttons of your dress, ripping them open. Being exposed to him and the cool air leaves you in shock and you awkwardly push him away from you.
"Wait." You begg, holding his flexed arms in a tight grip.
"This is not right Mr. Ackerman. Please believe me, I have no interest in seducing you, no-" A moan escapes you as his hand squeezes your breast, while his mouth moves closes around the nipple of your other one. Your faces takes the color of cherries and your rapid breath is concerning to you. Levi plays you like an instrument, making your lips leave sounds you didn't know you were able to make.
"Torture, isn't it? It's how I've felt ever since you barged into my life." He comments, teasingly returning to suck and bite on your sensitive skin, while he leads your body down onto the soft sheets. You move underneath him, giving in to your foolish desires.
He struggles to undress the both of you, his right hand barely able to do so. His frustration is obvious, which is why you decide to take matters into your own hands. Your legs around his hips, you turn the two of you, placing yourself over him. He seems surprised, blinking at you with astonishment.
"Let me take care of you." You whisper at his ear, softly nibbling at his neck. Groaning, he nods his head in appreciation, letting you take the lead. You carefully open his dress shirt, revealing his defined chest and stomach. Muscles and scars litter his pale, creamy skin and you can't help yourself but to trace the dips of your fingers over it.
The sudden sensation makes your heartbeat even faster. "You make me feel dizzy." You admit, staring deeply into his eyes, as if hypnotizing him. His gaze turns distant, as if lost in thought. The expression of longing on his face causes a lump to form in your throat. He leans forward and brushes the hair out of your face, while his eyes travel back up to meet yours. His kiss is slow and passionate. Your tongue meets his, exploring every inch of his mouth. His hands roam all over your back, as he caresses your curves. The sound of fabric tearing fills the air and you pull away slightly, noticing how he roughly freed you from your clothes.
You gasp for breath, looking down at your naked bodies. His dark eyes are full of passion while you wonder what he is thinking, while the heat rises between you. The desire inside your belly intensifies, making the need to be closer to him grow. You want to touch every part of him, to feel him.  He is hard under your fingertips and a small whimper escapes your mouth at the feeling. Levi's eyes narrow at your actions, making him press his lips against your neck, sucking and biting it. The noises coming from you only intensify, as you grind against him. His hands slowly lower to your hips, guiding you down onto him. The friction of your heated skin against each other sends chills through your spine and a low groan escapes your mouth. The moment you enter him feels like heaven. A deep sigh follows after, while his hands find their way into your hair, pulling gently.  You move your hips in synchronicity, making the friction burn hotter. Both of you are breathing heavily now and you feel yourself thrive in the heated pleasure. Levi's eyes are still locked with yours, as if in trance. His breathing accelerates to match yours and soon you are moving together again, until he grabs your hips once again, pushing himself upwards into you.  Another moan slips out of your mouth and your knees shake. You lean forward, resting your head on his shoulder, while he continues to thrust into you, faster and harder each time. He pulls at your hair and nips at your collarbone while moaning. He took the lead from you quickly, grinding rapidly against you. You relax on his chest, letting him snap his hips upwards.
Every well angled push drives you closer to your device bliss and you can tell that Levi is close too. His thrusts get sloppier, and his little whines turn louder. Your ecstasy hits you first, and you grip on him hard, seeing soft stars. Slicing his member out of you, you feel a warm liquid squirting onto your lower belly. His eyes are closed, his breath hot and heavy, while droplets of sweat run down the side of his head. You too feel all hot and bothered, rolling yourself off him onto your back. You notice him gazing at you through his lashes, a satisfied smile on his lips.
"That was-" you start, not finding the right word to describe your shared experience. Levi grabs for a cloth he fetched out of the pocket of his pants and carefully collects the white, liquidly strings on your belly with it.
"You could certainly take care of me that way more often." He teases, placing a small kiss on your forehead. You grin, like a naive girl and nod your head in agreement.
"Certainly Sir."
"Please. Call me Levi."

PLEASE write about Jean seeing you for the first time in four years 😭. Like you got taken by Reiner or something and when they attacked you went and found him. PLEASE THIS WOULD BE SO COOL!!
at last
Tumblr media
pairing: jean kirstein x f!reader
word count: 1.2k +
tw: kidnapping, cursing, angst,
a/n: wow! this is a lil emotional! i hope you love it like i do. also, this isn't proof read.
it'd been four years. it'd been four whole years since you felt the company of your comrades, no, your friends. the day you were taken still burned sharply in the back of your mind, replaying on an endless loop, constantly reminding you of the last day you were happy. there was no forgetting the devastated looks, their faces twisting and contorting with fear. the sounds of their panicked shouts fading into the distance. the most haunting thing of all your brain tortured you with was the feeling of jean's fingertips slipping away from yours.
things like that weren't so easily forgotten, especially from the confinement of your cell. at the end of the day, you were grateful. you were grateful to still have your life, no matter how miserable it might have been. the cell you stayed in was dim, cold and all too quiet. it was the perfect breeding ground for your trauma, festering day and night. of course, there was a time you weren't as grateful; you'd rather have died then reside in marley for whatever time you might have had left. you were angry. you were angry at reiner, at marley, at the scouts for not being successful in their attempts to rescue you. there was fear residing there, too. were your friends alive? where was eren? did they know what you knew? did they know about the cruelty of the world?
eventually, reiner became somebody different. you no longer saw him as the traitor as he once was. you grew to understand him, your resentment eventually fading away. he'd come down most days and visit you. he taught you a lot of things about marley and about paradis. reiner would tell you about the world away from your cell, about things that were happening outside.
the day came where reiner told you that willy tybur, an eldian noble, was going to declare war on your homeland. he seemed remorseful to be telling you this. you screamed at him, begging him to interfere all while reminding him he was once a soldier, too. he ignored your pleas and left you a pacing mess in your cell.
not long after reiner's disappearance, a blond male soldier stopped by your cell. the soldier said nothing as he fumbled around in his pockets before pulling out a set of keys. he unlocked the door as you asked a thousand questions, raising your voice with each word. he said nothing. like reiner, he left without a word.
the sound of eren's titan echoed through the air, shaking the ceiling and causing bits of rock to fall. you thought you were hallucinating, your brain playing another sick trick on you. you heard it again with booms following right behind it. praying on the chance it was real, that eren was really here, your legs took off, your calves burning with each swift movement.
above ground was a nightmare coming to life. the sky was dark. there were no stars to see, the only light from the raging fires. the attack titan's silhouette was visible, muscles rippling as he pounded another titan. there were so many emotions running through the track of your mind but there was one thought that stood out apart from the rest.
if eren was here, were the scouts here too?
then, you heard it. the unmistakable sound of odm gear being launched through the air. anxiety brewed deep within you, letting you know this might be your one chance to go home, begging you to not let it slip away the way jean had let you. tilting your head up to the sky, you saw them. the scouts, in a different uniform than you remembered, were zipping through the air with utter grace. they were angels compared to the relentless war behind them. you wanted to cheer; your saviors were here, at last. you opened your mouth, filling your diaphragm with all the air it would let you and you screamed. you screamed as loud as you could.
"help! it's me, (y/n)!" it was the only thing that came to your mind. you thought your efforts were useless, barely being able to hear yourself over the screams of men, women, and children. the fight between of titans covering up your futile attempts at a rescue. you were about to yell again when you felt an arm snake around you.
the air was cold, an unwelcoming breeze, as you flew through the air with an unknown liberator. your eyes closed as the harsh wind hit them. you'd long forgotten what it was like to be a scout. once being able to zip effortlessly through your environment, you found yourself taken back. the arm on your waist was warm and you reveled in the heat, despite the chilled air around you.
your flight came to an end and only then did you open your eyes. with wide eyes, you blinked, taking in your surroundings. you were on a rooftop now. you centered your eyes in front of you.
"(y/n?)" his voice is choked, barely getting through your name.
jean kirstein.
tears brimming in your eyes like a dam threatening to break, you had let out a guttural cry. the next word out of your mouth was much softer than the sound you'd just made. "jean." you whisper. jean didn't move as water collected in his eyes, spilling over and running down his face. "jean." he nodded his head, at a loss of words. his mouth opened but only the sound of war was heard. jean shook his head and lunged forward, engulfing you in an embrace you thought you'd never feel again.
jean's shoulders were shaking with sobs and the battle behind was long forgotten. jean was no longer a soldier; he was healing. the wounds you'd left had never closed. they were deep gashes all over his body, aching to feel you, to hear you at any given moment. with a single embrace, he felt them closing.
his palm cradled the back of your head, the other wrapped around the entirety of your back. there was nothing said here as you two breathed each other in, finding the love that was once lost with each breath. jean's voice was quiet in your ears.
"i'm sorry," his breath was warm as it poured over the side of your neck. "i'm sorry." jean repeated.
you found it within you to pull away from his arms. you could see him now. you could really see him now. you could see how the four years had hardened him. the only thing that was the same was his eyes. it was the same way he had looked at you back then. his eyebrows twitch with concern, awaiting your next word, scanning your face for a hint.
your mouth fell open, desperately begging you to say something, to say anything at all. the sound of your cry was barely heard over the explosions of thunderspears; your tongue failing you with words once again.
"i know, baby."
you rushed forward, meeting him once again in an embrace. your head became wet with his tears as yours dampened his neck. jean's arms tightened as he let out a shaky breath. "i'm here, baby. you're here with me, at last."

Bathing In The Rain
⚠️Warning ⚠️: Sexual content (18+) MDNI
Levi x Reader (Smut)
Summary: A Marley soldier and the captain of the Survey Corps, a love deemed forbidden, a passion that you once believed to be genuine—a lie, a fabrication, an illusion. How could you not have seen it for what it was? Yet, perhaps, when you encounter Levi beneath the rain's relentless downpour, the true essence of your relationship will be unveiled. In other words...outdoor smut in the rain.
The night unfurled in a wild dance of grey and silver, the heavens erupting in a primal deluge to drench the world below. Rain descended in relentless sheets, soaking everything in its path, an unstoppable force of nature. Thunder roared in the distance, a feral, beastly echo shattering the fragile stillness. But in this world, peace is an illusion. There is no such thing. There must always be chaos to balance the order, a perpetual disruption to maintain the façade of equilibrium.
Levi stood outside bathed in the raw splendour of the nocturnal storm, surrendering himself entirely to it.
The rain was merciless, each drop a sharp lance of cold against his skin, like arrows piercing St. Sebastian. But while Sebastian’s torment was divine, Levi's was an earthly baptism by storm.
The stinging rain was his punishment, embedding into his flesh, each droplet tracing his face with a crystalline touch. It slipped down his form like ghostly caresses, drenching his uniform, transforming the fabric into a darker, richer shade, while his dark hair clung to his forehead.
Yet, amidst the sting and the chill, there was a purity to the moment—a delicate, immaculate tableau. He stood in solitary watch, consumed by the storm’s relentless embrace.
"Levi," a voice called out, shattering the serenity of the moment, its barely audible murmur struggling against the storm's fury. "We need to talk."
He pivoted towards the voice, the rain continuing its onslaught, each drop slicing into his skin with the precision of tiny, cold blades. His gaze shifted, a nearly imperceptible softening in his eyes as he took in your disheveled state.
Your hair, plastered against your face in limp, damp strands, resembled wet seaweed. The drenched fabric of your shirt adhered to your form like a second skin, highlighting the curves of your breasts. Harsh creases marred your long, black coat, revealing the frailty of your soaked clothing underneath. You were utterly drenched, the rain's relentless, unyielding assault rendering you a sodden, vulnerable figure in the storm.
As you approached him, heavy droplets cascaded down your cheeks, blending seamlessly with the tears you fought to mask.
"Why did you come out here? Shit, look at you, completely soaked." His voice was low, edged with a chilling steel. "You might as well come inside to dry off; can't have you catching a cold." His grip tightened on your wet, cold shoulder, steering you towards the entrance with an unsettling calm.
You shoved him back instantly, your hand pressing firmly against his chest, eliciting a shuddered gasp from his throat.
“N-no,” you stammer, the quiver in your voice betraying the fortress of your resolve. You gasped internally, catching a glimpse of his eyes—eyes ablaze with a malevolent inferno, scorching your skin with their crimson heat. The raw power of his gaze almost consumes you, drawing you into submission. But then the cold rain, relentless and unforgiving, lashes at your face, a brutal reminder of the grim necessity of this act. Fuck it. You've bled and suffered, lost everything on this deranged quest for him, for this twisted mirage.
Drawing a deep breath, you force the truth up from the depths of your being. "Our whole relationship was nothing but a lie."
Levi's eyes narrowed, the rain beating down on his furrowed brow. "What are you talking about?"
It all became clear. The pieces had fallen into place: his sudden interest, the probing questions—questions you’d never answer to anyone else—and the frequent absences. Your heart tightened with the realisation that the man you had come to love had seen you as nothing more than a tool.
"You know exactly what I mean," you hiss, taking a deliberate step closer. "All this time, you've been using me, haven't you? Gathering intel, manipulating events—whatever fits your agenda. I'm nothing but a pawn for the Corps, a worthless rag for you just to squeeze dry for information on Marley."
The rain fell harder, each droplet crashing against the ground with such force it felt as though the world itself was convulsing, on the verge of disintegration, crumbling into a void.
Levi's gaze wavered, a flicker of something-guilt, regret?-crossing his features.
"I did what I had to do," he replied, his voice betraying a slight tremor as he struggled to maintain a veneer of control. "For the sake of humanity. For the mission."
You shook your head, the rain blending with your tears, searing your eyes with an almost exquisite agony. "Was any of it real then?" You asked, your voice trembling. "The nights we spent talking, the moments we shared...did your ever care for me, or was it all just a part of your elaborate scheme?"
The silence that followed was a deafening void, punctuated only by the storm's unyielding wrath. Rain hit against the trees with relentless brutality, flooding their limbs in a cascade of ruin, submerging the leaves in an unforgiving torrent. The once-refined petals of fragile blooms wept in mournful surrender, their fragile beauty annihilated, petal by petal.
Levi stepped forward, his hand extending to brush against your faintly reddened cheek. The chill of the air clung to his touch, an icy whisper that sent a shudder rippling through you, urging you to instinctively draw back.
"I never meant to hurt you," he murmured, his voice barely audible above the storm, tenderly tracing the contours of your face. "But this world... it doesn't allow for love. Not for people like us."
His words sliced through your chest like a precision-honed blade, extracting the vibrant, pulsing crimson of your heart until only void remains.
He's correct.
In this world, all that is beautiful is inevitably marred, unable to endure the unforgiving verities of our existence. This brutal equilibrium.
But inside, a primal urge festers—to be selfish, one last time. Selfish enough to annihilate that equilibrium. That's what you crave, what you deem necessary: obliterate the balance, reclaim and preserve that elusive beauty once more.
Without hesitation, you surged forward, seizing his cold, wind-battered face, pressing your lips to his in a desperate, punishing kiss.
He matched your intensity, his arms ensnaring you, yanking you closer.
The rain, now a relentless deluge, crashed over you, submerging your entwined forms on the sodden earth, both of you consumed by the downpour.
Your lips clashed, battled, and devoured each other with a ferocity so violent it was as if you were each other's last meal, a sacrificial communion.
You broke the kiss, gasping for breath, your eyes searching his. "Tell me this is real," you pleaded. "Tell me it wasn't all a lie."
Levi’s eyes softened, and for the first time you saw the man behind the soldier, the vulnerable soul beneath the hardened exterior. "This," he said, his voice quivering ever so slightly as his icy hands gripped yours, "this is real."
From those words something fractured deep within you, the final vestige of restraint, utterly incinerated.
Your shaky fingers wrestled with the buttons of his shirt, the rain turning the simple act into a battle against the elements. Frustration built within you, but Levi was there, his hands guiding yours with unspoken urgency, and soon his shirt lay discarded on the slick ground. In a swift motion, Levi began to yank the long coat from your shoulders. His hands slid beneath your own shirt, tearing at the buttons and pushing the fabric away, leaving you exposed to the relentless storm. As the cold air hit your skin, he shoved you against the wall, the icy stone biting into your back—a brutal contrast to the searing heat of his form.
His fingers began to glide along the curve of your spine with a soft touch, each touch a stroke of reverent artistry, like a painter spellbound by the sublime beauty of their subject, consumed by an all-encompassing need to possess it. As your body arched into his touch, the warmth of his mouth followed, tracing a burning path down your neck towards your chest. His lips found your left nipple, sucking gently, drawing soft gasps from you as his hand moved to massage your other breast, kneading it tenderly with each rhythmic pulse of his thumb.
It was clear that all semblance of propriety was swept away in the torrent.
He tore his mouth from your left nipple, lips now seeking yours again with an almost predatory hunger. The kiss that followed was desperate, devouring-his lips demanding, yours eager. It was a collision of mouths, breath mingling in a frantic exchange.
Your hands wandered without grace, pulling him closer, as if to meld into one being. A low groan escaped you, lost in the wet heat of the kiss, as his tongue probed beneath your teeth, slipping past your lips with audacious confidence. Fingers gripped your hips, digging in with a fierce possessiveness, as if this moment were the last chance to claim you. But then, he withdrew from the kiss, leaving only a thin, glistening strand of saliva bridging the distance between you both.
“Tell me you want this. Tell me,” he implored, his voice now laden with a desperate yearning that mirrored his pleading gaze.
This time you reassured him: an immediate breathless "Yes" slipping from your lips.
Levi suddenly swept you off the wall, causing you to gasp as he effortlessly spun you around, laying you gently on the damp grass. The cold ground stole the searing heat from your body, turning it into mist as you gazed up at the dark sky, breathless and captivated.
He moved to hover above you, his presence a cocoon of warmth that drew you inescapably into his orbit. Levi's eyes were dark and enigmatic, locking onto yours with a fierce intensity, a hunger that shattered any illusion of restraint. It was almost frightening, yet you couldn't deny that he was the very essence of seduction incarnate.
Rain clung to his lashes, falling onto your face like tiny, cool kisses. You were utterly enveloped by him, the sensation of wet mud against your skin fading into insignificance. In that moment, nothing existed but Levi.
His lips resumed their journey across your skin, each kiss upon your collarbone a jolt that stirred a ravenous need within. The cool droplets of water clinging to your flesh starkly contrasted with the searing heat of Levi's kisses, eliciting a sharp gasp from you. As his mouth wandered downward across your chest, his hands gripped your hips, steadying you. He knelt before you, his lips charting a slow, torturous path to the edge of your abdomen, lingering tantalizingly close to that aching desire that you yearned for him to sate.
"You look beautiful like this," he murmured, his voice low and husky.
His hands found the waistband of your trousers, seizing them and stripping them away with deliberate slowness, savouring the anticipation in the air. With the same fervent urgency, he tore away your black knickers, now damp with a delicate sheen, casting them aside to join the scattered remnants of your clothing.
He seized your thighs with a firm grasp, prying them apart.
"Already so wet for me," he murmured, the words seeming to reverberate off the tender skin of your inner thighs, as his thumb traced a lazy circle around your clit, the wetness amplifying in your ears.
His lips trailed a path down to your exposed core, each touch worshipful.
As his mouth closed around your swollen clit, a delicate gasp escaped your lips, the sensation verging on the unbearable. His tongue teased and flicked, coaxing moans from deep within, as his hands pressed your thighs back, exposing you completely to him.
You didn't care if anyone caught you; the thought of exposure was as thrilling as it was irrelevant. Your own comrades witnessing you submit to Captain Levi? It didn’t matter. This felt right—inevitably, perfectly right.
Within mere seconds, another moan tore from your lips, your hips arching instinctively toward his face as he administered a pleasure so exquisite it bordered on torment. His touch was a maddening interplay of fierce and gentle, each caress sending electric jolts through your every nerve. Your hands, almost of their own volition, ensnared his dark hair, fingers tracing the starkness of his undercut.
The swiftness of your approaching climax was both disconcerting and shameful like a delicate thread stretched to its breaking point, teetering on the edge of an inevitable rupture.
Then, the sudden warmth of his mouth vanished entirely, leaving behind an emptiness, a fullness that dissolved into nothingness.
An immediate chill settled over you, the void left by his absence creating a gaping abyss. It seemed to siphon away the invisible warmth that had enveloped and protected you from the rain, intensifying the bite of the night air against your exposed skin. Cold raindrops began to pelt your body with an unforgiving rhythm.
"Levi..." you murmured, a plaintive note edging your voice.
He drew his face from your thighs, returning it to yours, and gently placed a single finger upon your lips. His expression had taken on a wholly illicit quality. His lips were smeared with the glistening evidence of your desire, the damp sheen of your arousal staining them.
"I don't want you to cum like this. I want us to be selfish together. One more time. Will you allow me that?"
To be selfish. One more time. The notion, steeped in cruelty, dances on the edge of immorality—a siren call to greed. To be so selfish as to betray Marley, to find pleasure even with the enemy. Yet, how could one deny him now? His eyes, frantic with desperation, and the rain draping his skin in a luminous veil. He appeared insatiable. And, of course, you craved your own release... that sharp, intoxicating crescendo of pleasure only he could provide, a singular, forbidden ecstasy no one else could replicate.
You quickly nodded, finding yourself unable to form words, as your body instinctively leaned towards him again. Your legs parted with a kind of silent urgency, beckoning him closer.
Levi's lips curled into a knowing smirk as he observed your needy demeanour. He began unzipping his trousers, revealing his ardent desire, pulsing with the anticipation of being freed from its confines by the allure of your blossoming beauty.
"So tight..." He grunted, his determination palpable as he fought to penetrate the walls of your defenses, striving to reach that sacred, long-abandoned sanctuary within you-a place where he once found peace but had neglected in the name of duty and humanity, as he had so conveniently excused himself.
How much he lamented his neglect; in this moment, all he wanted was to shower you with the love you deserved, a desperate attempt to redeem himself and reclaim what was lost.
When he finally entered you, it was not mere pleasure that consumed him; it was something far more profound. His eyes dilated, and the veins in his neck pulsed beneath the pale strech of skin. This act was not a simple indulgence in physical desire; it was a dark, sacramental rite, a pursuit of redemption. To the unknowing observer, it might have seemed a mere spectacle, a cunning performance crafted to ensnare your affection and pry information from your lips. But you knew Levi too well.
The pounding rain formed a cacophony in your ears, drowning out everything but the sensation of Levi-his touch, his breath, each gasp and moan. Every thrust was a fervent prayer, a plea for more,as he surged into you with an exquisite ferocity. His movements were deliberate, forceful, each one reaching deep, pressing against the tender boundary of your cervix. His hands traced a delicate path across your skin- stomach, chest, face-a whisper of tenderness against the merciless rhythm of his thrusts. It was an intoxicating equilibrium, and you relished every moment of it.
"I'm sorry..." Levi purred into your ear, a groan lacing with his words.
Those words pushed you over the edge, sending you to your peak. The rain seemed to intensify, as if it were a baptism, washing away every ounce of the past, pain and betrayal. Your cry pierced the air, your nails digging ruthlessly into the wet earth, your body responding, convulsing around him. Levi was right there with you, his grip on your hips tightening, his breath a scorching whisper against your ear. In that moment, all restraints disintegrated, and his seed flooded into you, filling your garden. The long-barren soil of your existence was finally rejuvenated, and the once-withered flowers of your soul exploded into vivid, riotous bloom.
You both collapsed onto the grass, utterly spent, each breath ragged. Levi's head rested against your chest, his breaths shallow and feverish, their warmth searing your skin.
Glancing up at the dark sky, where menacing clouds hang like an impending judgment, fear is absent. Instead, a surge of life more vibrant than ever before courses through your veins.
Levi's restless shift upon your chest caught your attention, his head lifting languidly from its repose. Then, as if the storm itself were holding its breath, the silence was ruptured by his murmur: "I'm sorry," he whispered again, his voice scarcely rising above the tempest's roar. "For everything." In response, you extended your index finger tracing the contours of his face with deliberate tenderness, guiding from the curve of his cheek to the rigid edge of his sharp jawline. You lingered there, gently massaging the tip of his chin with your thumb.
"I don't know if I can forgive you," you whispered, your gaze heavy with somber intensity. "In this world, beauty and duty must always be in balance. What we share is beauty—rare and fragile. But duty remains, unyielding. I am a Marleyan soldier, and you are the captain of the Survey Corps. To disrupt this equilibrium continually carries profound consequences."
You sighed deeply, the weight of your decision pressing heavily on the air. "Yet we are all permitted one indulgence to disrupt this fragile equilibrium, one fleeting moment of self-gratification. I have elected to be selfish with you now, to forsake duty for this transient beauty. I chose you. But forgiveness, that would mean succumbing to the chaos that inevitably follows. I want you safe... for if we transgress, we unravel the equilibrium."
Levi remained silent, his eyes steadfastly locked onto yours, yet you could discern the unspoken acceptance of these truths within his mind. He nestled his face against your chest once more sighing into it, his arms encircling your form, drawing his body ever closer, as if seeking to fuse his very body with yours.
Both of you knew this brief peace was destined to shatter, as inevitable as a raindrop meeting the earth. Yet, for now, you chose to remain entwined, savouring the warmth of your bodies pressed together. Even the rain, once a curse, now felt like a gentle caress.
As your fingers traced the sharp lines of Levi’s undercut while he slept against your chest, you understood this was the moment—the singular truth you craved, the only reality you sought to possess.

You shouldn’t be in Mitch’s bed, you shouldn’t be straddling his hips, you shouldn’t be fucking him but you are because right now you need to feel anything but this crippling numbness that’s eating you up inside. His hands grip your hips because he’s there on the cusp, his eyes locked on yours, his jaw clenched.
Your hand comes to rest on his throat, squeezing hard and he thrusts up into you unwillingly.
“Don’t.” You say, your voice stern. “Don’t hold back from me.”
And Mitch can’t help himself, his release overcomes him, crashing through his body like a freight train and he’s coming in long, hard spurts inside of you, your name tearing from his throat. The feel of his release filling you, tips you over the edge and you climax around his over sensitive cock, gripping him so tightly it steals away his breath because it’s such a beautiful mix of agony and ecstasy.
You slip out of the sheets when he falls asleep, dressing in the light from the dawn as it breaks outside before you walk down the stairs of the home you built together and leave out the front door, locking it securely behind you.
You don’t go back to your parent’s house instead you head to the fire station. It’s quiet tonight, the folks on the shift before yours are all tucked up asleep in the bunk room. There’s just you stalking the corridors like a ghost. You shower the essence of your estranged husband from your skin, redressing in your paramedics uniform, ready for your shift in a couple of hours
“Marley.” Cruz calls out when he sees you coming out of the locker room. You’d forgotten he was covering for McCleary tonight on Squad, that’s the Lieutenant in charge. “You’re here pretty early, is everything ok?”
No, you think. Nothing’s ever going to be ok again.
“Yea.” You say with a smile that doesn’t feel like your own. “I just wanted to get a jump on things before the audit next shift.”
“Marley.” He says gently, his hands coming to rest on your shoulders as he studies you because the expression on your face. It’s one he’s never seen before, not in all the years he’s known you. “You know you can come to me if there’s anything…”
“I fucked Mitch tonight, right after I found out I couldn’t have kids.” You find yourself saying and Joe doesn’t quite know what to respond to that.
“Are the two of you…” He trails off because they all know you’re separated and they all know it’s not that simple.
“I don’t know.” You tell him despondently, tucking your hands into your pockets as you tilt your head away from him. “I don’t know anything anymore Joe.”
“Ok.” Cruz says, his arm wrapping around your shoulders as he guides you towards the Squad table, pulling out Severide’s plush leather chair for you to sit in. “Let’s get you settled and you tell me all about it.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"hey!" you heard the window open beside the counter. It was your boss. "new table, 10 o'clock."
you were wearing a white dress over your usual waitress uniform. sweat glands were across your forehead, trickling down your face and into your neck. you were working an extra quick shift at the wreck today. it was the last day you would see your beautiful blonde boy before you left for your dads job in an entire new state.
you groan and finish wiping the counter, leaving your wet and white stained rag to fall to the floor.
tucking your notepad and pen back inside your pocket, you head for table 13 as your boss instructed as your last for the day.
you head out of the kitchen and back into open air as the wind brushed past your face, leaving you feeling cool from the hot and humid atmosphere of inside.
the outside was bustling with people everywhere.
despite the busy crowds, you plaster a smile on your face as you approach the table, taking orders left and right.
you write them down and go back into the kitchen to dial the orders and after a while, you go out again to serve the food.
after a while, you we're finally done with your shift.
you look down at your feet, taking your uniform off and wiping the sweat from your face.
"y/n?"
as you hear the familiar voice, you look up to see your favorite blonde standing behind the counter.
your face instantly lights up with a smile as you run over to hug him, almost so tight it makes the two of you twirl.
he puts you down gently
"you ready, pretty girl?"
you grin so wide it makes your cheeks burn a little.
he takes your hand in his as you both walk out of the wreck, heading towards john b's twinkie. you both get in with excitement, as jj starts pulling out of the parking lot and on to the main road
"lets get outta here."
the wind from the un-rolled car window beats upon your face like a fresh new beginning.
its the same feeling you got every time you and jj drove to a new spot, new restaurant, new date.
he said lets get out of this town, drive out of the city, away from the crowds.
after way too many jams to your favourite marley playlist, the twinkie stops in its tracks.
"we're here. JJ breathes, as he gets out of the van, going up on the other side to open your door for you.
you step out onto the sand and you feel warm inside. JJ takes your hand and leads you out onto the sandy beach.
you giggle as you fall into the base line of water. jj sits down in the sand and watches you laugh and smile. it was his most favorite thing ever.
he gets up from the sand after a while and reaches out his hand for you to grasp as you pull yourself up with a laugh.
he tucks a piece of your hair back behind your ear. you always loved the way he made you feel like a little girl again. you feel your throat and stomach swarm with little butterflies.
he towers over you as you rest the side of your face on his shoulder, barely being able to touch, but you do. something that never failed to make you feel un-deniably safe.
you look up in his eyes in awe of the beautiful water color feature, mixed with tan skin that radiated his blonde hair that felt like home, but excitement all at once.
i thought heaven can't help me now. nothing lasts forever, but this is gonna take me down. he's so tall, and handsome as hell.
"you wanna do something fun?" he graps your hand and rubs it back and forth with his thumb, making you giggle a little more.
"of course." you smile, as a blush appears on your cheeks making your face feel tingly and warm.
he leads you to a little white wooden house across the shore that was filled with life guard equipment.
he takes your hand as helps you step up by the door.
he knocks twice, no answer.
he looks back over his shoulder to see you giggling, concealing your smile with your hand. he throws you a wink and pulls back the door as he steps inside.
you follow him in, carefully shutting the wooden door behind you.
the two of you lock eyes and snicker a little.
you we're already two steps ahead of what he was thinking.
he hands you a board as you try and conceal your grin spreading across your face.
the two of you leave the small shack with your boards after jj smashes the lifeguard's tips in his pockets because he couldn't resist himself.
you laugh and follow him out, sitting in the water watching your blonde boy kick back another wave.
he's so bad but he does it so well. I can see the end, as it begins- my one condition is..
after the two of you have way too much fun in the midst of saltwater, you swim back with your stomach on your board, the warmth of the sun pressing into your scalp.
you make your way back into the sand and toss your board to the side, jj catching up to you and laying his board down next to yours.
he walks with you back to the twinkie away from the water to change out of wet clothes. He shuts the car door closed as you pull on a flowy sundress, lace peaking up from the back of your white bra, stuffing your bikini in your backpack.
jj takes his hand in yours again and rubs your back with a smile as you make your way back over to the damp sand, pressed by gentle waves creeping in.
the sun begins to fade into the horizon as it paints colors of burning yellow and oranges.
the two of you sit down in the sand.
theres a silence in the air for a while, only echoed by the soft sounds of the beach.
"i don't want this night to end", he whispers, looking down into the water.
you look into his eyes as tears begin to block your vision.
"can you promise me something?" you look down again, your words stamping the air.
there was a light silence again as he begins to read your face.
he breathes in.
"of course darling," he caresses your face with his thumb, cupping your cheek in one hand.
"will you remember me when i leave?"
he plays with the strap of your sundress as he takes his hand in yours.
"oh love.." he kisses the top of your forehead gently.
tears fall from your face, that you felt like had held you captive for so long. He wipes them away with his thumb.
"we will see each other again all right? i dont care what it is.." he looks down at the sand and then back into your eyes. They sparkle from the colors that painted the sky above the sea.
you lean over to press your lips against his on your knees.
it was a long, passionate kiss. one that felt like retaining that promise.
he pulls away a little before wrapping his strong arms around you, pulling you in for a gentle hug as you rest your face on his shoulder.
"forever and always, darling."
you wipe your eyes and nod, reaching for his pinky as he keeps you retained in the hug.
he locks his finger into yours.
"pinky promise." he whispers, tucking your hair away from your face.
you look into his face as warmth fills into your cheeks, matching the color of your lips.
say you'll remember me, standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe. red lips, and rosy cheeks. say you'll see me again, even if its just in your wildest dreams.
after many long deep talks and staring into the stars, you both make your way to the twinkie, jj opening up the door for you as you get in.
you hold his hand as he keeps one arm on the steering wheel, driving down the road.
after a while the twinkie stops to the side again.
you breathe out shakily and stare at your front door from the van.
"you ready?"
you feel tears overtake your throat again and nod slowly, staring.
he helps you out of the twinkie, and walks you to the front of your house, following you inside.
you step into your room with him and gently shut the door behind you.
he gets up from your bed and towers over you, taking his shirt off, dropping it to the floor, revealing his toned chest.
you barely even swallow.
you press your mouth into his as you gently make out with each other against the door, the feeling of jj running his fingers through your hair.
I said no one has to know what we do, his hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room. And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever.
eventually the two of you make your way back over to the doorway.
he puts his hand on the wall, looking at your face.
tears fill your eyes and they drop themselves on the hard wood floor.
he pulls you into one last hug, rubbing your back into small circles.
you choke on your sobs, tears streaming down your face as he steps away from the door frame and into the cold night air.
crickets chirp in the background.
"i love you, princess", he whispers softly before kissing the top of your hand and letting it drop to your side again.
you cover your mouth with your hand as you loose your breath in your chest, tears falling past your cheeks and into the rim of your ears.
the door clicks shut.

A little sneak peak from the Arranged marriage Omegaverse Alpha! Levi x Omega! Reader fic I've been working on!
Let me know what you think as I had been writing some chapters and so far this is one of my favourite scenes.
The pressure that his fingers applied to the bridge of his nose was so strong that the pain of it overcame the migraine. Strong footsteps echoed in the corridors as cadets moved aside to make way. Since the Scouts were almost wiped out, more and more people had been joining their ranks, and Levi was not enjoying the crowded halls.
"The day I decide to call all this shit off, I'd like to see them surviving without me," Levi thought, clenching his teeth. The stress was taking a toll on him lately. The military was expanding so much, particularly the Scouts, and they simply lacked soldiers in higher positions to handle everything from mundane tasks like organizing lines to making highly important decisions regarding the Marley issue.
Swinging the door of his chambers open, his eyes fell on her. She was looking out of the window, book in hand and cat on lap, dying of boredom as if she were either waiting for rescue or for her death. His grimace was a mix of empathy and annoyance. He had insisted at least five times that she could help in the kitchen, sew uniforms, or work in the laundry room. All his proposals had fallen on deaf ears. Yes, he pitied her, closed up in his office all day and night with nothing better to do. But her privileged upbringing, which made her repulse the idea of helping with anything related to housework, rubbed him the wrong way.
And the horrendous day he was having, having to listen to all of Zeke’s demands from the other side of the damn world, was simply not helping. Slamming the door shut made her turn and look at him.
"Pack your stuff, we're moving," he spat out, already moving to his room to gather the few belongings he actually had. He threw the black trousers of his uniform out of the drawers onto the bed to pack them, regretting the decision as soon as he saw his immaculate, perfectly washed trousers covered in cat hair.
"Moving? Moving where?" Y/N jumped from her place at the window and followed him, excited. Her eyes shone brightly, feeling her prayers had been answered.
Eyes shut as tight as his clenched teeth, he took a deep breath in and out. He was fond of animals, and the white Persian cat was lovely, but the fur was something he wasn’t getting used to easily, and it just added to his day.
"Where are we moving?" she insisted, not sensing his lack of patience. "Are we finally moving to the Capital facility?"
Levi, trying to find any remaining good mood inside him, turned to his side and raised an eyebrow. "No," he said, "To the south."
The excitement dropped substantially, and she frowned at him. "We ARE in the south."
That made Levi quickly realize this was not going to be a quick and easy conversation. "No, we are in Wall Rose."
"I'm not moving to Shiganshina," she said, arms crossed, eyebrows drawn together, and her voice raising.
Levi sighed as he folded one uniform. "Lucky for you," he said, each word dripping with his remaining patience, "we're not going there."
"Then… where?"
Levi knew he should have delivered the news more gently, but he had no time to spare and no energy left to deal with her lately. "South, we're setting up a camp next to the coast. Construction has already taken place, so we'll have a room. Pack your stuff; we're leaving by horse to arrive sooner and organize everything. The luggage will be taken by carts that will probably take a week to reach."
"What?—NO!" she quickly complained, her voice filled more with tears than anger. "I don't want to go to the end of the shitty world!"
"The soldiers from Marley are already arriving, and we need to be there to make sure everything evolves as planned—"
"Aren't you listening to me?!" She screamed loudly enough for Levi to close his eyes at how it reverberated in his ears, only fueling his headache. "I'm NOT moving there. We will be in the middle of nowhere; there’s no communication with the walls. I want to be closer to my friends and family, not there."
The air began to fill with her scent, demanding she wasn’t submitting. Challenging him, and Levi felt how each breath he took through his nose was tinged with it. He had no good temper left, and her insistence on asserting dominance was the final straw. Her even daring to assert dominance over him. Her, the omega the government had saddled him with.
Turning to his right, his piercing eyes locked onto her. "Don’t," Levi ordered, his own pheromones mixing with hers and warning her. The stare of a high-breed alpha, his own body warning her that fighting with him was a bad idea. Maybe it was because he had been hearing demands from Marley soldiers and allies all day long, people challenging his authority. But Levi wasn’t going to allow an omega to step on his dominance. He had been, in his opinion, more than good and patient with her—probably more than any other alpha would have been. He wasn’t one to use his stare to force omegas to do what he wanted, but he was having none of it.
Lips trembling, fists clenching, deep frown, and her eyes struggling to keep eye contact. Fighting against her own biology, she could feel how each fiber of her body trembled in trying to maintain the resistance. Eventually, she couldn’t keep it up and looked to the side, breaking the stare and lowering her head in submission.
A long sigh left his nose as his demand withdrew once she ceased the claim. “Pack your stuff,” he ordered, lowering his voice sensing that the rebellion was over.
But it hardly was. “I’m not going. I’ll move in with my parents. I’m not going to some rotten, muddy camp in the middle of nowhere.”
Levi shook his head. “You’re coming because that’s the arrangement between your parents and the military board. So pack, and that's the end of the deal.”
“No! I don’t want to go, I’m not going to pack!”
“NO! NO! NO! NO!”
Her complaints echoed in his head as the headache pounded against his skull, his teeth clenching so hard he was even showing them. “ENOUGH!” His hand slammed against the drawer, the loudness of it ceasing all noise. The room fell silent, and the scared cat ran to hide under the bed.
Levi finally turned to fully face her. “We are going to do this whether you like it or not,” his voice harsh and leaving no room for interruptions. “It can be the easy way or the hard way.”
Raising his hand in the air, showing three fingers. “I have a meeting, and in three hours I’ll come back and pick you up. Either you pack and get ready for when I return, or you don’t pack and not only will you be in a shitty, muddy camp at the end of the world stuck with me, but you’ll do it without any of your fancy stuff. And I warn you, there are no stores there.”
As he left the room with the same urgency he came in, he said, “You choose!”
But as the door was slamming shut, a cadet interrupted him. “Ehm… Captain?” The tremble in the kid’s voice indicated he sensed the environment was not conducive to another demand. “Commander Hange needs a signature?”
“Fuck off!”

No thoughts tonight, just Levi holding you tight before he had to leave for a mission.
He was already in his full uniform. The black bodysuit that hugged his small frame tightly with blades attached to his outer thighs. This would provide cover in the dark and improve mobility. But all Levi felt was chill and exposed. He pulled the familiar green cloak over his shoulders.
You stood behind him, watching as he dressed up to go retrieve Eren from Marley. You were ordered to stay behind to prepare for receiving the Yeager brothers.
Levi finally turned around and your eyes met, mirroring the sadness and anxiety in each other's eyes. You took a step forth and Levi welcomed you into his embrace. You felt the chill of his bodysuit and the breastplate at first, and slowly his warmth started to seep through.
Levi pulled you in as close as possible, feeling your warmth on his new uniform. He was greedy for what little warmth your cheek radiated, pressing himself onto you with all his might. He inhaled deeply, trying to take you in as much as possible. He was relieved you didn't have to go with him to a foreign land but he was still worried. Inhaling you into his blood was the only safe way to bring you with him.
You grabbed onto his waist tightly, holding onto him as if he might be gone if you let go. Levi's arms were around your shoulders and he was pulling you into him too.
It wasn't until the siren went off that you had to let each other go. You grabbed his cheek and pulled him in for a hard, passionate kiss. Your noses crashed and you held your breath as you kissed each other deeply.
"Come home to me, Levi. Please, please find your way home to me no matter what."
"I will, I promise. Wait for me. Wait for me to return."

Synopsis:
(Y/n) was a soldier under Levi's squad, she was a very skillful and effienciently trained scout until one day her cover was blown and the whole squad found out that she was in fact a Marleyan, and she was a warrior sent as an agent to infiltrate the survey corps. When Levi and the others found out she was to be executed until Queen Historia decided that the best punishment for her was to in fact stay at the survey corps since she was one of the most liable scouts, but one thing she did not expect was that she was ordered to carry the child of Humanity's strongest in order to keep the Ackerman Bloodline alive.
PART I
Tumblr media
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
The gentle breeze of the air touched your skin, it was cold.
Ever since the cat was out of the bag it became almost impossible to gain the reputation in the survey corps you once had.
You gently looked down at your belly, it was still not showing.
You then remembered the words of the queen that changed your life.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
"(y/n) how can you do this...? " Historia asked her, her gaze flickered with doubt and cold acceptance of the situation.
"Forgive me Historia, please know that I never intended to be a traitor to the survey corps... even if I'm not an Eldian by blood, my loyalty belongs to everyone here, in the walls, to Captain Levi and the survey corps."
(y/n) told Historia while kneeling, facing the consequences of her actions as a declared traitor.
"I know you (y/n), We have been under Levi's squad and I can tell that it wasn't all an act and show... that your loyalty was indeed with us... despite you being sent here by Marley to infiltrate the corps."
Historia said knowingly, she did believe that
(y/n) never intended any of that to happen and she had grown to fight for Paradis.
"I will accept any punishment that will be dished out on me, whatever it is... I know the terms of the regiment and I will face the consequence of my actions wholeheartedly."
(y/n) said, looking at Historia, her gaze showing acceptance of what is to come towards her actions.
"You know that I won't punish you with death or anything of that sort (y/n), I know that you are needed in the squad and I know that you are a good person,"
Historia said, her orbs carried kindness, just like how she was when she was still reffered to as her former alias Krista.
"Although you are still a declared traitor and... there is this other thing..." Historia continued,
"The Ackerman Bloodline, it must live on." Historia stated, her gaze changing with a hint of austere.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
pitter-patter
The sound of raindrops making contact with your skin and the floor brings you back, pulling you away from your thoughts.
You looked at your uniform as it started to soak from the droplets of water meeting your now fragile body.
You were still out of it, after hearing the words fall from Commander Hange's mouth an hour ago.
"Looks like you're pregnant (y/n), Congratulations." Hange said, her voice laced with warmth and anticipation.
Although it was delivered with a cheery and accepting tone by the Commander, it was not something that you wanted to hear, especially given the case that this was the punishment dished out to you by Historia herself and the fact that the biological father also despises you due to your faults of being a declared traitor under his squad.
You continued to stand at the field despite the continued droplets of water becoming heavier.
You were lost in your thoughts, the overwhelming feeling of the potential present and future,
It was all too much.
You were once again pulled away from your spiraling thoughts when someone pulled your arm, it wasn't the most gentle gesture but it also wasn't the harshtest.
"Snap out of it (y/n)." Levi firmly reminded while leading you to the barracks, to your shared quarters,
Levi didn't say anything afterwards, the walk towards your shared quarters was very quiet.
When you both reached the door, he opens it and drags you in despite your uniform dripping from the cold rain you openly welcomed while standing at the field spacing out earlier.
Levi closed the door, he then approaches you. The same distant, cold and hardened gray orbs was met by your gaze, despite the news he still maintained the same demanor, unfazed.
Turns out that Hange had a discussion with Levi telling him the news while you were at the field drenching yourself in the rain while your thoughts and feelings were all over the place.
"Tch, are you really that fucking careless (y/n)?" Levi asked her, his gaze piercing her.
"Sorry, I was just out of it, Captain." (y/n) replied, trying to keep her emotions in check, it was honestly an indescribable feeling.
"Change your clothes, you shouldn't get sick." Levi told her, though his tone of voice was void of concern and was laced with a hint of annoyance, he did care for her, and their now existing baby inside of her.
"Do you know...?" (y/n) asked, looking at Levi.
"Do you think I'm dumb? Besides, four eyes already discussed it to me." Levi responded, his tone still hinted subtle annoyance.
Levi approaches their wooden closet, he then grabs (y/n)'s white colored silk nightgown which was neatly folded and hands it to her.
"Take a bath and change, we wouldn't want you and that growing baby inside you to get sick." Levi told (y/n) his voice in monotone, his gaze still the same, with that unbothered and unfazed look to it.
(y/n) took the neatly folded silk nightgown, muttering a "Thank you." to her Captain.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
You knew that your relationship with the Captain wasn't the best ever since your identity of being "A Marleyan warrior sent to the survey corps to infiltrate them to get intel" was disclosed.
When everyone found out in your squad, they're jaws were all hanging open and they can't seem to grasp that you were a traitor,
The betrayal was far too foreseen.
You were a very skilled scout and edition to Levi's squad, especially when it came to your mission to protect Eren.
Your relationship with Levi was not bad too, although it was only civil, he did see potential in you, hell you even sometimes have tea with him at his office after helping him clean.
Which adds to the more disappointment and hatred that Levi has for you.
Although he still somewhat acts civil with you, you know deep down that he hates you, and the idea of concieving a child with you was indeed a burden for him.
"I mean, who would want a child from a traitor anyways?"
That phrase or question, the usual you hear from a few scouts who had heard about your rumored punishment.
After taking a warm bath, you wore the white silk nightgown as you proceeded to leave the bathroom.
You and Levi had been sharing quarters ever since you were exposed at the regiment about you true identity, It was an order that you are to be watched by Levi as he can end you with a swift if you are still proven guilty for the past accusations against you.
You went to your side of the bed, there is only one bedroom but it has two beds with a small space in between which was occupied by a small nightstand.
A few minutes prior, the Captain also entered the room, approaching your bed as you sat down at the soft neatly covered cushion.
"Don't be careless again brat." Levi stated, his tone hardly annoyed but still maintaining its usual monotone.
"Yes Captain," you simply responded avoiding his gaze, unsure how to face your captain,
Unsure how to face the father of your developing child.
"I'm sure that you were thought as a cadet to look at your superiors when taking with them."
Levi reminded you of your current behavior with his stern tone of speaking as you continued to avoid any eye contact with him.
You tried your best to look at him, meeting his piercing gray orbs.
"My apologies Captain, that was wrong and disrespectful of me." You stated, trying your best to maintain eye contact with him.
"Don't forget your ground (y/n), even if you're pregnant with my child, that doesn't change anything." Levi said, the coldness of his voice still lingering.
You nod at Levi, while maintaining eye contact with him.
"Yes Captain, I understand." You replied trying to keep your voice monotone despite the overwhelming feelings you were feeling.
You were seeking for comfort,
Namely Levi's comfort,
The comfort of your baby's father.
The news still struck you with many emotions of uncertainty, and it all wasn't easy.
Your mind then went back to the day that you and the Captain were both trying to conceive, it wasn't the most romantic gesture like others described it to be, reaching cloud nine, but then again you still reached that high, despite knowing better than anyone that given your circumstance, affection was doomed to be devoid between the two of you.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
The room was lit dim with candle lights, The smell of Chamomile lingering the room's gentle atmosphere. A few moans and groans were heard from the room.
"Ca- Captain..." you moaned out, as you arched your back feeling Levi's lips making contact with your already wet core.
"I shouldn't be enjoying this... this is suppose to be a punishment, damn you (y/n)". Levi said as he continued to burry his lips and tongue towards your moist and slippery entrance.
"I... I'm close... Captain Lev-" Levi cuts you off, as he continued to burry his tongue deeper reaching for your sweet spot that makes you see stars, as tears started to blur your sight from the overwhelming pleasure running its course throughout your body.
"Give it to me, let go." Levi said with his usual monotone and cold voice, but despite the cold gaze he always conveys, you also saw hunger and anticipation in his orbs as he looked at you while you lose yourself into the pleasure with the work of his tongue.
Your back arches as you let go a muffled moan echoing throughout your shared quarters as you grabbed Levi's raven black hair.
"Good girl, now let me fill you up until you carry my child, you Marleyan brat." Levi stated as he started to align his tip in your sensitive yet still soaking core.
As Levi pushed his length inside of you all you can do is remember the punishment dished out for you, for being a Marleyan traitor who infiltrated the scouts.
"You are ordered to carry the offspring of Captain Levi as your punishment."
"Is.. is this really all for the punishment...?" you asked while feeling Levi's tip between your seizing needy walls.
"Do you actually think I'll make love to someone like you?" Levi asked with a hint of subtle sarcasm in his voice as he fully inserted his hard length inside of you.
"So... this is all nothing to you...?" you asked, although you know the answer all too well, at the back of your mind you were hoping for a different answer, as you felt each thrust Levi was giving you, it started out slow as he lets you adjust to his size.
"Nothing, just like how you mean nothing to me." Levi answered coldly with no hint of guilt, not even a flash of regret is visible in his eyes, as he continued to thrust deeper, his pace getting faster as he penetrated your walls.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
"Nothing, just like how you mean nothing to me."
Levi's words were honestly stuck in your mind, playing like a broken cassette record.
You then decided to lay down on your bed while Levi was sitting on his chair near a small round table drinking his tea peacefully despite his unknown thoughts screaming loudly at him.
"(y/n), I know our situation is not ideal for the both of us." Levi stated while looking at his cup of tea.
"I am aware, Captain Levi." you simply stated, still feeling the needy desire to be wrapped around his arms while being comforted by his warmth.
Levi sighs, he knows what you need, even though he wants to provide it, he feels as if something is holding him back from giving you the comfort you very much seek for.
"You're a traitor." Levi stated while looking at your direction, you then decided to sit up making eye contact with him, both of your gaze meeting.
"No matter how much I explain myself, I do know I have that reputation in your eyes, and the whole regiment." answer him softly, at this rate you have come to the conclusion that nothing will change, it was impossible to change your image nor your fate after everything.
Levi stands up, leaving his cup of tea at the round table beside him.
He then makes his way towards you.
"(y/n) a scout never gives up, if you really want to return your proper reputation then prove yourself, the regiment is no place for pathetic and soft-hearted beings like you." Levi stated firmly while still maintaining eye contact with you.
"Captain... no matter what I do, I will always be viewed as a traitor, I'm a lost cost." at this point you were honestly at the verge of tears.
"Damn this pregnancy hormones," you continued to state, while wiping the tears forming in your eyes.
Levi then kneeled his right knee while you were sitting at your bed, making you both leveled.
"Listen to your Captain, I may not be fond of you but you are currently carrying my child, I do not wish for my child to have a mother who is a pathetic crybaby so stop crying."
Although Levi's voice was still the same with its usual stern and cold hint to it, his orbs were softer, making you come to the conclusion that he is at the very least trying to comfort you.
Your tears started to pour,
"Damn it brat, didn't I tell you not to cry?" Levi asked with the same tone of voice but then again, his gaze melting softer as he stood up, closing the distance between you both, he then pulled you into the warmth of his body, his arms holding you, while gently stroking your hair.
"Stop crying, I don't want your tears soaking my uniform." Levi reminded, still holding you gently betraying the coldness of his own tone of voice.
"Yes Captain... I understand." you softly replied while sobbing, as tears continued to pour from your eyes, soaking his scout uniform, although everything was a mess and out of place due to the overwhelming occurring events, you felt safe with the presence of your Captain's warmth meeting yours.
Maybe, he does care.
