Regarding Pinky’s ship idea

so, as you could probably tell from @pinkyberet ‘s Valentine’s Day art, she came up with the idea of shipping my OC Onkar with her OC Marlen. i won’t lie, it felt a little off to me since Onkar is 17 in HN/NOTRN while Marlen is 23 according to their bio. however, i then remembered that Onkar is 22 in Hello Killer (since HK takes place 5 years later, and 17 + 5 = 22), so i came up with a way to try to make the ship less creepy/awkward. feel free to let me know if you think that it’s a good idea or if some alterations should be made.

here it is.

so, in HN/NOTRN, Onkar and Marlen are on good terms with each other, however they don’t talk much due to their age gap, they’ve only ever had small talk that never really went deep. then, sometime before HK (when Onkar was around 18-20), he and Marlen began talking more, and started to become closer friends, and that leads into HK. in some AU before Aftermath, they begin to date. so they weren’t really that close in HN/NOTRN, but in Onkar’s adult years, they’ve become closer.

this was my best attempt at trying to make the ship seem less off, let me know what you think.
