Markyr for 001?

yeah babyy!!! sorry this took all day i was @ work

when I started shipping it if I did:the first post i have under my markyr tag is on march 3rd of last year for a real specific answer lol, but in context it was probably during the beginning of the onorhant arcs. the characters were really settled in by that point and we were getting a LOT of interactions so it was really a mash of thog/ashe, and ashe/markus, and markus/kyr,,, i was feeling a lotbut kyr and markus goofing around onorhant doing their trials or whatever? ideal. perfect.

my thoughts:two chaotic good excellent lads

What makes me happy about them:they’re like. the poster-perfect image of “your partner should also be your best friend.” they’re so overwhelmingly supportive and excited to be around each other

What makes me sad about them:*markus is a tiefling and is going to outli-*kyr’s self-worth issues and everything resulting from growing up Like That that he’s still working through markus is high-key someone who’d die before admitting to something personal being wrongbut it balances out bc kyr is very vocal about How Is Kyr Doing Today, and markus has more love than should logically be able to fit in his body it’s hiding in his hollow bones, so they’re good for each other. 

things done in fanfic that annoys me:....i’ll be honest i usually forget to check the ti tag on ao3? so i don’t actually know

things I look for in fanfic:an understanding that despite the goofs, they’re very good at trying to be self-aware and emotionally intelligent people

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Markus: thog, ashe(?)Kyr: inien, thog(?)

My happily ever after for them:*continues to aggressively ignore that kyr’s going to die before-*they get a big house in the country near all of their friends and they have a bunch of dogs and goats
